Mat was super helpful in telling us how to get our son started in drum lessons and what we could expect during the process, and what kind of investments we would need to make in the future if he stays with it. I highly recommend checking them out.

Im a new (lady) drummer, who waited over 40 yrs to finally learn to play the drums. I was so excited when I found this place when doing a Google search the night before our road trip to visit Tulsa.We drove 2 hrs there on Memorial Day weekend Saturday, May 29th from Arkansas. We had my TAMA Imperial Star drum set packed in the back of my Subaru (in hopes that I could get someone to help me properly tune them) & showed up right when Drum World in Tulsa opened at 11am.We met the owner, Mat Donaldson, who was full of energy & excited to hear that Im a new drummer. He was extremely helpful. He fine tuned my whole drum set & got me matched with some better weighted drum sticks (hickory instead of maple). He was very gracious with his time & also did a helpful modification to my bass drum & only charged me a small fee for the part. He even gave me 3 free Drum World stickers!😁My goal for the road trip there was to find an amazing ride cymbal to add to my set. They had an ample supply of cymbals to try on display. I found a great Sabian 20 XSR rock ride cymbal & also a new TAMA cymbal stand. Plus, I got the new sticks & a t-shirt! Its a very cool store for all things drum if you have a drummer in your family. Mat told me his Mom is a long-time drummer & got him into drumming over 30 yrs ago!Reasonable prices & super customer service! Family business over over 30yrs. Well worth the road trip! Will definitely be back & will be giving them my business for years to come. Wish they had one in NW Arkansas! 😁👍🥁

I called today to get my 11 year old set up with drum lessons. I had received attitudes from many people at other places because I have no idea what Im talking about when it comes to drums. I called drum world not expecting much and from the second the phone was answer my expectations were blown away. He was so friendly and so excited to have my son there. I know my son is going to love learning how to play his favorite instrument. Thank you guys!

The staff have extensive knowledge on drums, from the shells, to the hardware, to the cymbals, to the desired effect various sticks have on the stylized play. I highly recommend this amazing store.

This place is the best! Super knowledgeable staff, clean store, and the Owner treats you like a human being. I purchase all my percussion stuff from them and will continue to do so.Also, if you buy a kit there they will tune the heads for you for free. I Absolutely love this place.

I needed my toms tuned bad cuz i cant tune 😂 anyway i took them to drum world and they tuned them up for me now they sound so good i never wanna stop playing i recommend coming here if u need ur drums tuned 5/5

Very nice and helpful. This place is exclusively drums and percussion equipment. No guitars or keyboards etc. This was my first visit, and although Mat had another customer in front of me, he spent plenty of time getting to know me and my needs and recommending products. Overall, a good experience.

Awesome service! Michael was extremely knowledgable and eager to both educate and help. My wife and I came in with a used kit we had just bought and got help going over the whole kit to learn the best setup for learning and general use later. We also got solid advice for what needed replacement or repair immediately and what could wait for later.Even better yet, when we needed to replace one of the drum heads they did it for us, tuned the drum, and repaired another issue with the drum we hadnt noticed.The whole experience was amazingly helpful and positive leaving a great impression. Well be gladly returning in the future.

Heaven for drummers! Drums and nothing but. A great locally owned store, staffed by other drummers who know their products! A good selection of kits (acoustic and electronic), cymbals, sticks and hardware. The prices are competitive with other places in town. They also offer drum lessons which is great for the community. And they have occasional drum workshops/seminars with world class drummers who are in town. If youre a drummer you owe it to yourself to check it out.

Been shopping at Drum World since I started really getting into playing. All the staff is great and always been helpful.

I went into Drum World today with my wife and 2 sons to get some new heads for my toms, I was greeted by Mat (the owner) and he showed me ar poo under the store. He helped me with the process of determining the best set up for my new kit and even helped me find some cheaper pieces of hardware so I could save money and still have the set up that I wanted. Then after I bought everything he helped me put on and tune. Ive never had a better expierence while looking at instruments. I recommend 100%!!!
