We purchased a new phone for one of our 3 lines and it was incorrectly put on the wrong phone line. After speaking with 2 reps at the 800 number the issue was not resolved. A lot of time and frustration and lies and it was not fixed which caused one of our phones to be inactive. 800 service was horrible. We then had to go into our local att store and Kyle the store manager fixed the issue in no time. Very nice and knowledge. Kyle at the local store is the only reason for 5 stars. 800 customer service gets no stars.

Excellent! Went into the store very close to closing time and I honestly expected some lazy sales person that was just ready to go home. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Antonette and Zack were very knowledgeable of the available products and promotions. Made me a great deal on a new phone and made sure I got a cast that fit my needs as well. Great experience will be back

I cannot say enough how courteous and professional the staff is. After the loss of my mother they helped me put the account in my name and found me the best affordable plan going forward. Not only were they friendly during the process they were very compassionate of my situation. I will not go to any other location. They treat you like family.

As a new customer, the representative who was supposed to help me was so afraid, he didnt even introduce himself. I was afraid, despite his mask, of his coughing, hacking, sniffing that was still present even 2 weeks later. Everything I saw, I noted he didnt seem to know a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g except his bosss name and need for his help LITERALLY every 2 minutes - this included simple procedures.Now, Jason unbelievably, the boss, with alligator cowboy boots, stop my rep without finishing the job, for a group who wanted. Hotspots.Basically, stay away from this store & 2 rudest salesmen.

This store is the best i wish i could remember the guys name who helped me because he went out of his way to show and explain everything to me. un like the guy at the store in port charlotte who literally wouldnt help me switch over my apps and contacts to my new phone HE sold me. so my phone was down the whole day and im in sales and i NEED my phone. he didnt even bother to try to see if there was anything he could do to make me feel good about buying from att. he knew that he got me to sign on for 2 or so years and his job was done so screw me. ill only go to the venice store from now on

My mom and I opened an account with AT&T during a special with the 12 Pro in December of 2019. Five weeks later she suddenly passed.The compassionate service I received was second to none. Company policy dictates to write off the sale of my moms phone, which meant that I kept her phone at no further cost.No other cellular company has this policy.I applaud the store branch in Venice, Florida for management’s stellar service and understanding at a most difficult time.

My husband and I requested switching our two phones from Verizon to AT&T The representative was very knowledgeable, friendly and was happy to make the change for us. She did it in an expedient amount of time. We were able to keep our two original telephones, our current phone numbers, no problems whatsoever. All the staff was very friendly. We wish everything was this easy.

Jerry helped us and was very efficient. We had a slightly complicated situation with our phone plan and we ended up fixing it and leaving with the two new phones we wanted. I know we are in a pandemic crises along with all the unknown. But! If Customer Service reps are not comfortable working with the public, then stay home. I went in to see what was wrong with my phone only to feel I shouldn’t have bothered. I felt I had a plague along with the fact don’t come near me or touch my phone. Yet! Another CSR was sitting with her customers very comfortably along with no masks on either. Yet! I am with someone I felt was so uncomfortable with me. Trust me! I felt so uncomfortable myself being treated in the manner I was. I had a mask on when entering and talking...But I certainly didn’t expect the treatment I got. Never liked this store and after my experience, I hate it there. My problem was never resolved. Never in all my years with AT&T did I get treated like this!

Ive been battling Cancer for two years and Im going to have another surgery in June. I was passing through the area yesterday (I grew up in Port Charlotte) and all of a sudden my phone went crazy and couldnt figure out what was wrong with it so I used my work phone and found this location. ALYCIA greeted me with a smile and a sense of warmth that made me feel comfortable. I told her what happen (in non technical terms cause lets be honest nobody knows the terms like they do). She quickly identified the problem and all the while never tried to push a sale or anything she basically saw someone who was struggling and helped them. AT&T needs more employees like her that show compassion, hospitality and just dang good customer service!!!! Thank you Alycia for being amazing!!!

Wont be long before I change my service to another carrier. Worst service ever received on my new s20ultra5G nothing but problems from ordering to service. Voice messaging is a joke hardly ever works tired of playing the games. After talking to AT&T Corporate thought it was resolved by taking back to a company store but they fall back on 14 days return.policy even though it has been going on since purchase. Verizon I will be there next to change carriers and AT&T and I can battle this out later.

Excellent service, greeted on entry and then after a few minutes wait i was passed on to a great sales person. Unfortunately they were unable to do what i wanted (buy a sim card for my son and leave, without testing in a phone) but rather than let me leave unhappy they worked a way round it (i got a free phone to use as a spare) and i ended up leaving wishing i could switch to AT&T. Well done guys, great service.

Employee (millenial guy) acted like he was BOTHERED by the fact that I was purchasing a new phone with his help! He couldnt get rid of me fast enough (guess he wasnt earning a big enough commission!) He even erased all of my pics on my old phone, didnt bother to tell me until I asked if thats what he did, and acted so blase (pronounced blah-zay!) about it ...basically a snotty jerk!

On Wednesday I purchased an iphone 8 and the sales tech synched my old phone with the new phone even though I do not back up to the cloud. When I went back on the weekend to exchange for an 8plus the sales person (Justin) indicated he could not move anything because I was not backed up to the cloud. What the heck did these people do when the cloud did not exist? He was rude, insolent and abrasive. He was the antithesis of how good customer service should be modeled. He has no business being in front of the public representing AT&T.I would give them negative stars but that does not seem to be an option for this post.

Make sure you are not helped by the sales associate Alycia, she is incompetent to say the least. I stopped in at 7:30pm 3/25/2019 and was extremely dissatisfied with the service I recieved.I have been an AT&T customer all my life and have always been satisfied with the products, services, as well as phone and in store customer service. Today however was a different story.I stopped in today due to an issue charging my Samsung Galaxy S9. I purchased my S9 around 6 months ago and have taken good care of it. My charger however stopped fast charging the phone around a week ago and when connected would only charge. For anyone unfamiliar, charge rather than fast charge means that charging the device takes around twice as long or so.Then today the charger began to not charge at all and I have to disconnect and reconnect the charger to the phone multiple times in order that the phone would begin to charge.I explained this situation to Alycia (I believe that was the spelling of her name) and she informed me that the issue was my phones charging connection had to be damaged or bent and that I would have to get my device repaired. She also informed me that this would not be covered by any manufacturers warranty so I would have to get a new phone or go to a Samsung store to have my device repaired.I showed Alycia my phone charging connection area and that there was not damage and the metal charge piece was not bent. She shrugged and said it could still be damaged. I then asked Alycia if they had any partner stores or knew of any locations I could go to to have my phone repaired. She told me she had no idea. Another male employee that seemed to be observing our interaction then interjected possibly Best Buy.At this point I thanked Alycia for her help and began to leave the store. However, before exiting I turned around, walked back to a table where Alycia and the unnamed male employee were at, and asked if they had a charger with a fast charging capability for me to try. Alycia then said umm maybe I will check or something to this effect, and quickly produced a charger which she connected and handed to me.I plugged the charger into my phone and it immediately began fast charging.I turned to Alycia and said Well would you look at that, its fast charging.Alycia gasped, looked at the unnamed male coworker, then turned back to me and said theres no reason to talk to me like that.I replied, talk to you like whatAlycia replied disrespectfully, Im just trying to help youI replied Obviously not, I then unplugged my phone and left the store. As I was walking away Alycia said, you can buy the charger if you want.I am quite annoyed that Alycia was too incompetent to think to try a new charger when confronted with my situation.I am also annoyed that she simply assumed my functional device was damaged and merely let me know the damage she assumed my device had was not covered by any warranty.Additionally I am annoyed that I was never offered a wireless charging device.I am also annoyed that Alycia was condescending and snide throughout the entire interaction from the moment I initially entered the store.Instead of leaving this store today with a new charging device, I left emptyhanded due to a lack of wanting to further interact with a rude and incompetent employee. I am now writing this review instead. Tomorrow I will go Best Buy or Walmart to purchase a new charger.

Went in for cell phones and directv spent a lot of time with this and because of wrong address entered into system i no longer have tv. the sale person should have cecked and should not tell the customer that dont worry I have the code entered. and once they Take your money they WONT help all they do is put you on the phone. they dont want anything to do with THEIR Mistake, Venice needs management and sales that Know Customer Service and How to fix what They Broke. I no longer have directv 37 different people on the phone or chat cant fix what Venice att botched. I will not return to this location.

Went there on Sunday nome of the employees said anything to us. People were unhappy been there for hour and a half without getting help. Another customer told us they sign you in and wait is very long. Cutomers not happy and employees didnt appear pleasant. We left as no one but other customers spoke to us. One employee whom wasnt busy just goes in the back never to return the 30 mind we were there. Just needed to replace a phone that I use for business. No phone today. Switching carriers.
