We dropped a phone in the ocean while on vacation and this Verizon store was AMAZING! Store manager Beverly was super cheerful, patient, & helped us import our contacts and old phone settings to our new device! The store is clean and had lots of selection for cases! We HIGHLY recommend THIS location for all your device needs! Top marks for outstanding customer service! Beverly ROCKS!

After many months well actually 3 years and 9 months. I got a refund for a tablet that should have been removed when it was replaced. Beverly Finkel not only got this fixed but set my mother-in-law up with new phone. Considering her age that was a task...85. Then upgrade the I phone for my daughter. This store is now my store. Guess doing business with an authorized dealer versus the corporate store is so much better. If you want to know why, its simple. They care.

This is our third visit with Kristen, she is extremely patient and knowledgeable. Everyone at the store was very friendly. We had to go to Best Buy(per Apple) for repair and we were extremely disappointed with their customer sercice and phone repair. We will definitely be back to this store to see Kristen!

Promised me a data device should work, happily took my money. I told them I would test and return if I couldnt do video networking. Sure, fine. No mention of fees. Device had miserably low performance, like .1 MBPS speed test. No zoom. Took it back. charged a $35 restock fee. Woman was rude and insulted me. Then Verizon sent me bills for data on top. Never could speak to anyone because I no longer had an account.

The absolute worse Customer Care Service ever!!!!!!The girl working had a very filthy mouth and had respect for the customers. She obviously hates her job. Verizon should be embarrassed to have such an employee. Do not go there unless you want to be screamed at and called names.

Jeff H was very pleasant to work with in switching from Sprint to Verizon, however that being said I just saw my 1st bill and he signed us up for the most expensive unlimited when my wife and I asked him if it was the 45 per phone fee he said yes. Got my bill and it was 80 per phone. Then he put on insurance of 17 per phone not asking if we wanted it or not. Just spoke with Verizon customer service and they were able to get the fees down more. Unfortunately keep a close eye on things because salesman dont explain everything to you.

After waiting for over 30 minutes I was spoken to very poorly by the female clerk at the Jacaranda Verizon store. I was under the impression you could go into a Verizon store and ask questions about the products. I guess I was mistaken according to this clerk. I was told by the clerk it was “rude” to come In there and ask questions then buy online. We work on commission. As a Verizon customer for over 21years I have never been spoken to so poorly by an employee. I immediately left the store and called Verizon. The rep who I spoke to couldn’t have been any nicer. The rep on the phone said I had every right to go to a Verizon store and ask questions. The rep on the phone answered all my questions politely and got my order. Save yourself a trip and order online.

My mother recently went to this location to purchase a new phone. Although brilliant, she is now in her 80s and has a very difficult time understanding technology. She was served by Jeff H the asst manager, and he set her up with an Iphone SE, and got her email set-up. When she returned home, she was unable to operate the phone on her wifi network, and had some confusion over her email access. She often calls me with problems like this, and I discovered that Jeff had made some changes to her passwords (I think), and my mother was unable to recount what he had done, or what the new passwords were. She gets so frustrated by this, so I told her to return to the store in the morning, and have the associate call me while shes there so he can tell me what hes done and I can get the info on my end so I can help her deal with the inevitable issues that will come up. When she went to the store, Jeff told her that he wasnt calling anyone, Im the expert here, and proceeded to make more changes and sent her on her way. When she got to her car, she called me to tell me what happened, and I asked her a simple question (whats the new password he gave you), and she didnt have it, so I sent her back in to the store to tell him to call me - Im not gonna tell him how to do his job, I just need to know what hes done because my mother cant convey that to me. This is the second time Jeff refused a customers request to call someone on her behalf. My mother left the store and realized now she didnt have her phone with her, went back in to the store, and Jeff said he saw her put it in her bag. Somehow, she lost her phone walking the 50 from the store to the parking lot, and whoever picked up the phone knew precisely what to do with it, as it was turned off immediately, all calls directly to email, phone tracker shut off. My mother recalls putting the phone in her pouch, but then taking it back out again and giving it to Jeff. Im furious with the lack of customer service from this store, all of the issues could have been resolved if the employee just called me the first time. Also, Im very suspicious of what ultimately happened with the phone. This is not the kind of place where people that need a lot of help with technology should go, they dont seem to understand the unique needs of their elderly clients.

Best experience I have ever had in any wireless phone store! Jordan went out of his way to help me find my phone using iPhone finder and after it was located (in very bad shape) he continued to help me until a new phone was ordered! I was very upset when I went into the store but he took care of me and I left happy. This is a great Verizon shop and I will not go anywhere else! I have gone to this Verizon store many times in the last several years. I actually prefer this store to the Apple Store and bring any problems South (I am usually in Venice 11/1 - 6/5) with me for these people to resolve! I have brought my neighbors in and they, too, were extremely satisfied. Let me tell you what happened today, and you will never visit another Apple or Verizon store except for this one. My husband’s I-phone died. After some discussion, we decided to order the I-phone 10 for me and he will take my 6 Plus. Mike, the store manager, said I would receive the new phone sometime before Christmas and when the new one came in he would transfer all the info from my phone to the 10 and from my husband’s phone to mine. We were somewhat hesitant because my husband needs a phone. Mike gave us a LOANER phone to use until my new phone arrives — can you believe it? I am not overstating my experience when I say the staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and overall amazing!

I purchased my phone from Jordan Locke and he was very courteous and knowledgeable! I had to go back because I had an issue with my screen display and had no luck with Verizon support so I went to see Jordan and he fixed the problem in minutes and was very helpful! Very annoyed that a store would randomly send text messages to try to get business since we both just became eligible for upgrades. Not a good way to do business.

My LG phone ran out of memory and I was unable to delete files to make more memory so I went to this Verizon store for assistance. Ken was unable to help... all he wanted to do was sell me a new phone & this one is still not paid for and its just out of warranty. He did see that I have a memory card in my phone but did not have any cards in stock to be able to sell me to increase my storage...however he could sell me a new phone. He was not helpful at all on the technology side .....but he could sell me a new phone. I will try another Verizon store and see if there is someone who has some tech background that might be able to help delete some of my files to increase storage or at least sell me a card to increase storage. Very disappointed

I am so sorry that I switched my business account to Verizon. When I came in 7 months ago to open 4 new lines 2 representatives were helping to set me up. Well they got my information wrong, I cant log into my business account because it says its restricted. I had to personally go in there 2 times, I called the verizon number and today I tought I would walk in and try to resove this issue for once and forever. First the caller ID name is wrong, 2nd I needed to update my plan and 3rd I needed assistance with forwarding the phones from one to the other. I walked in, waited my turn. Before I even told Mike Durika my issues he tried to push me to call the 800 number. I tried to address the 2nd reason I am there for, same answer - You need to call Verizon. Ok First, I called Verizon, now I am taking an hour of my day to drive and wait to the place I SET MY ACTUAL ACCOUNT AT, and calling did not work. - I understand you are there for the commissions you make only for new accounts, however I have had issues for months here and I am happy to share pictures of what shows on my end before you cut me off and send me to the 800 number. You are not a sales person only, you are a customer service representative of Verizon, therefore it would be nice if you actually stop sending the people who walk in with an issue away, and only welcome the new sign ups. I am happily walking into an ATT store and closing my accounts with Verizon. Both representatives are not professional, looking only to make comissions and sell cases for the extra little they get. Please know as a customer of Venice Verizon, that if you have any issues they will not help. I am very dissapointed and rarely write anything so negative, however they made the initial mistakes and they need to learn how to help with peoples issues. That is their position. If it was sales only, please make that loud and clear for everyone to know it is sales only.

I just discovered the Venice store near my house, so I dont need to drive into Sarasota any longer.I recently purchased a Gizmo. Being a woman of limited technical skills, I was having difficulty connecting it up to my home Wifi.When I came into the Venice store I was greeted by Jeff Hatter. He was warm and friendly and asked how he could be helpful.I told him my challenge, and he walked me through the process, step by step .And I learned what I was doing wrong.I really like this store! I don,t have to drive a half an hour to get service, information, or equipment. And the service is 5 Star!

Worst customer service I have had in a long while. My wife and I purchases 2 new phones ( iphone 8s), only one was in stock and other had to be ordered. I was told it would be in on the following Tuesday. It was not!! In fact it wasnt ordered the day after because the previous was the end of the month and get this, they dont order new phones at the end of the phone!!! Are you kidding me!!!1 They lied to me, lie #1, They when I did get he call, he said that I did not qualify for the $100 discount which he promised both of us when we bought them and then had the audacity to tell me that he did not say that!! LIe #2,. I did not buy my phone from them and suggest you go elsewhere!!!!

If you have any questions or concerns of data plans, data usage, promotional information, etc involving a Verizon (Mifi) Jetpack, do not waste your time at this Jacaranda Commons location. I spent hours between online Chat sessions and calling into Verizon so-called support and not receiving support for my inquiries. I figured if I drove to a store and spoke with a live / physical Verizon knowledgable employee all my questions would be answered. NO. Employee at this location knew ZERO about the Verizon supplied and sold Jetpack device, plans, and usage. For every single question they told me to call Verizon support! What a waste. Just one example... for prepaid plans if you upgrade to the 8GB it was stated online that you get another 7GB for free each month. What was unclear is if this pertained to the Jetpack device. Guy in the store did not even know what I was speaking of - even though the advertisement was on a poster - on the wall in the store!!! Here is a word of advice for a company employees - LEARN THE COMPANY PROVIDED MATERIAL, DEVICES, and APPLICABLE PLANS! Hey here is another thought - read the company provided material that is hanging on your wall and on the store window that you pass by going into work!

Shawn was our rep and we told him what we wanted and he did everything the opposite of what we wanted!!I did not get a upgrade, my husband did, our bill is more than we were paying before, and I told him to tell me all the hidden costs. Which obviously he didnt..He was just looking out for himself to get a few xtra bucks in his paycheck.. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND NOT RECOMENDED!!!!!
