I called and spoke with Benny and Rosa what a team they were so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I received my washer and dryer same day!!! The delivery guys were so thorough and just amazing!! Thumbs up!!!

My washer stopped working and other stores told me I had to wait 2 weeks for availability. I couldn’t wait so I went to East End Appliances. I ended up getting a washer and dryer for a great price. Everyone was very polite and helpful, I highly recommend them!!!

Wish i can give no stars!!! Nobody calls you back when you have an issue, ive lost so much food because of the fridge not working. He never sends his “technicians” to come fix the appliances. The owner is extremely rude especially if your female, he tries to talk down on you! Spent $800 on a piece of junk. Since day 1 i had issues that were never resolved! The one time i talked to him he basically said what do you want me to do about it! NEVER AGAIN!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!!

I will never buy another appliance from this place again. When they sold us the fridge and dishwasher they kept saying they had warranty if something was to go wrong with them. Only had the fridge for almost 3 months and it stopped working. The freezer and the fridge part wouldn’t get cold. Called the store and spoke with the seller and they said there was nothing they could do and that the warranty wouldn’t cover that. It was a total waste of my money. I should have gone to Home Depot like I was originally thinking but I let them convince me with their sales speech. Now I have to spend double because I have to buy a new refrigerator. NEVER AGAIN!!!! I don’t recommend this place to anyone

I was looking for an inexpensive used dryer that was not to old, found exactly what I needed, at the right price. Customer service was good, courteous and very friendly. Definitely would recommend this store, if you need appliances, they have it all.

Benny is the most deceitful person I have ever met. He will repeatedly lie to shut you up. I purchased a fridge from him that had dinged up doors and wifi tablet built in. He says everything is tested before it leaves shop and he said he will replace the dinged up doors.After a bunch of lies about the delay in delivery because he was having trouble with one door replacement. He finally delivers it.He didnt replace any doors and the wifi doesnt work.More BS about how hell come out and fix it. No word from him.Also to the state of Connecticut - Benny gets out of paying the state sales tax because he says pay me through venmo and I wont charge you sales tax.

My fridge went completely yesterday in the middle of Tropical storm Isaias. I found Kim on offer up she responded & helped me right away. I went today she was able to help me get a beautiful Samsung black stainless fridge & a beautiful top load washer cause mine started leaking. She is very nice so is her mom & the other lady. Definitely recommend them. Will always return to purchase more appliances. To be able to get a washer & fridge delivered same day is awesome. Thank you so much. I bought a fridge for $280 and ask lady how my b for delivery she said $10 and I have to bring it up. So I ask ok how much for them to bring it up to 3rd floor and to take old one. She states another $100. They get here and tell me $150. More then half of the price of fridge. What Im mad about when I call to ask questions about how price jumped i get no answer.

So disappointing, this why it is hard to support local businesses at times. They say they will honor your warranty but it is not true. My husband bought a washing machine back in February, within to weeks it broke. All we needed was a small piece part. They guy gave us the run around, never answered phone calls or called us back. At one point my husband left work early to go the store, they were closed!Finally we got fed up and bought the piece online. Don’t get a warranty with them, they will NOT honor it!

We bought a washer from this place and it has not worked once since we bought it. We have called many times and most of the calls go unanswered. When we did speak with the owner he said he would come to the house and fix it. He never came and never called. We again called him, no answer. We went back to the shop and he wasn’t there. We called again, this time he answered and said he would exchange the washer the end of the following week. The entire time all this is going on we have to keep going to the laundromat. Not only are we currently out of the money for the washer but we are loosing more by having to go to the laundromat. Week 2 of still no working washer and still no answer as to when we will get one. I do not recommend going her if you don’t want to get a broken unit and a run around.

Appliances stopped working almost immediately after I had them installed. They have a 90 day warranty but as soon as you call to ask for warranty service your phone number is blocked and they will never answer your call again. No point going back into the shop either because they will never send a technician even if they give you a date theyll come fix it just to get you to leave. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY, THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!!

Me and my husband decided to remodel our kitchen during the quarantine so we went shopping around and we happened to stop by East Ender appliance to check out some prices and immediately we realized the prices value and automatic savings !!!were so unbeatable we went with a glass stop stove five burners and a Samsung fridge that my kids simply love we also got an over the stove microwave to match the stove. The money we saved is the only reason why I even would recommend this place the PRICES !!!

They havent honored there warranty. They sold me a broken dryer. They keep ignoring me. I have called several time and stopped at the store to get it fixed. They keep ignoring me. I had the dryer for two days when I noticed the problem, I called them. Now its like four weeks later, and its still not working and they are playing games.

I bought a Refrigerator from this people and the refrigerator started to give me problems after a month they sent someone to fix it but what this person did was only put gas in it so know adding 2 month later its doing the same thing and my groceries are starting to damage, I call this Lady said to wait until the weekend after giving me some excuses and know theirs no answer no respond. This has to be the worst experience I’ve had. I bought a dryer and within one month it stopped working. So I called them and it took about two weeks of phone tag and the guy finally shows up and does a quick oh I know what’s wrong thing and it works for about three days. Sooooooo I call again and they act like I’m bothering them when I paid good money for the damn dryer. After the wife almost killing me and my son not having clothes since the dryer dies I went to them and just asked for a replacement. So I get the replacement and within one day that one dies. 👍. So my wife flips monkey butt and goes over there and says you are gonna make this right. So they assured her that the one we brought back works so out of desperation for a working dryer we agreed to another switch. Got it home and within I say two weeks that one dies. 🤬. So I called another company that my mother deals with for repairs and they came out and told us that the bypassed a safety switch that regulates the amount of heat the heater uses and wired it that the safety system doesn’t respond to extreme heat from the heater and burned it out. If the heater had burned out by over heating the guy told me that with the combination of the lint and electricity my family could have been in a burning house because of incompetence and greed. Never buy from them if you care about your family or tenants. They don’t care about that all they care about is the money and get you out the door.

HAD TO CALL MY LAWYER. bought refrigerator on 4/4/18. Today is July 31, 2018. It NEVER worked properly from day one. Repair guy did come out and said the fan needed to be replaced. We have been lied to for 3 months about ordering of part.... part was in different truck. wrong part came in. someone is driving to New Haven specifically to pick up the correct part.Now..... 3 weeks after that, still nothing. If they put out good money for the proper part, why wouldnt they come and replace it? Why is it 3 weeks later and no one can get from Waterbury to Woodbury to put in a new fan?SCAMDont think he believed I would call the lawyer. I have free legal services so I will not be going away.Please do not waste your good money and energy dealing with this person who really could NOT care less about you unless you are handing him money. After that, you are nothing to him.If he put even half the energy it takes to avoid and lie into taking care of business then he would be a very successful person.

Absolutely HORRIBLE appliances and customer service. Bought a washer and dryer over a month ago and still trying to get replacements. Today, I’m giving up and going shopping for new appliances elsewhere! Dryer broke within the first three days and washer a few weeks later. Basically other peoples scrap metal is being fixed (not really) and sold for outrageous prices. Do NOT waste your $ here. I made the mistake of trusting these people and in the long run lost over $300 and much time i spent driving down there only to hear the same old song that they would replace it come tomorrow. Tomorrow never happens and phone calls are left unanswered. They lie to your face saying they will replace it, but they are always busy and say “tomorrow.” Do NOT hand this business free money because that’s exactly what you will be doing! I wouldn’t even spend $20 on anything here! Wish i could be leaving a better review, but unfortunately East End Appliance has no morals when it comes to how to run a business.

If I could I wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star rating!! Worst experience of our lives!! My boyfriend went to purchase a used washer and dryer, paid in cash FULL. The owner and one of his employees said they were going to drop it off that same day between 3-4. It was after 4 when I called and asked if they were on their way, he told me he was finishing up a job and he would be there. It wasn’t until about 8pm that they notified my boyfriend to say they were on their way. Of course I wasn’t happy with that but I figured hey we need it. Needless to say they arrived, owner and another employee, they both stunk like alcohol and it seemed like they were under the influence of something else. In the process of bringing in the appliances, they banged up the walls and a sliding door!! No respect for personal property at all!! They never set it up properly, said they didn’t have the tools they needed to switch out a 3 prong plug(turns out it was right all along, if he just looked to his right, dumb a**) He said he was going to come back at 8am the next morning to fix it right and never showed. We had called him and he said he was at a job in Middletown and would come by after and never came. So we called another place in to help us get it together for a lousy job those people never followed through on. I do not recommend these degenerates to anyone or my worst enemy.

Please do not purchase anything from this place. Bought a dryer 22 days ago and it did not work called them about it they said they would come and bring a new one in three days and it end up being a week later. The new one does not have the prong that matches my socket so the owner told my husband to switch wires and he will come and get the other one in two days. It is now five days and we still have it. I called him today and he was rude, he told me he did me a favor by delivering it and it was my problem. I told him I want my money back he told me no refund when its only been 22 days and it does not state that on the receipt. Terrible business!! Why have 90 day warranty of you not going to fix it!. Sad!

We had some problems with a previous refrigerator we bought but they made it right. The replaced the one I bought with a newer better one and delivered for free. He made good on his word. The only thing they dont do is bring it inside for you.

Bought a fridge with them and 4 days after broke down, I called the owner to ask him if he could please send somebody and take a look as soon as the next day because all my food was gonna go bad . He said the best he could do is send somebody on thursday, that meant 5 days without a fridge and with the food in coolers. My parents are in the house visiting and Im due on wednesday everything is a mess. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE.

Awefull. Bought the fridge from them relying on picture and verbal description. They dropped it off same night as fully functioning, working fridge. It appeared to be complete junk. Ice maker and water dispenser did not work. neither did the light in a fridge. The door stop was broken and did not function, it was missing wheels and tray cover, and it stopped working all together in about 3 weeks. All that time i was given promises to fix the problem. And they refuse take it back due to some kind of no refund store policy( which is actually in conflict with federal law about refunds for faulty items). Now i have no other option but bring them to court......for a used fridge....just pathetic.

One star given due to Google requirement, not because it’s warranted. The kindest words I could use to describe the owner, this establishment and my overall experience are: HOT MESS. I purchased a refrigerator and stove at a price agreed upon with the sales associate at the store. Upon delivery and installation, I discovered the hot burner indicator on the stove was faulty. I also discovered issues with the refrigerator: the water line was leaking, the display panel that controls the temperature was haywire and the refrigerator portion was freezing all of my food. I contacted the establishment for repair assistance. I was told someone would come to investigate, in what I assumed would be a timely manner. My mistake. I had to call daily to request assistance, meanwhile, I can’t store perishable food as the refrigerator is freezing everything. My wife reached out on the ninth day of no action to speak with the owner. This individual yelled at my wife, accused her of fraud, stated she was ‘ruining his day’ and then advised her that he would not deal with this situation and hung up the phone. She was never granted an audience to articulate our concerns and suggest how we could work together to remedy this situation. Thankfully, the repair mechanic reached out shortly after the OWNER treated my wife with lack of professionalism or courtesy and stated he would come to investigate the issues we’d identified. The tech made some adjustments to both the stove and the refrigerator. To be fair, he did state that we could contact him should issues continue. And continue they did. The hot burner indicator only works on half the stove. The refrigerator is now keeping food at temperatures unsafe for consumption. And the display panel continues to reflect inaccurate information. The tech was contacted and asked to return to the house to rectify this. He stated he would come back on Monday, however, I’d scheduled several appointments that were no call, no show previously. The owner was subsequently contacted and at that point yelled at me, informed me that I committed fraud (my wife and I are still trying to understand this part of the rant) and that I was calling him on his day off, at which point I reminded him that his phone number is listed as the contact number for the store and the online hours indicate the store is open. I advised the owner that I had a receipt with a 90 day warranty and that I wanted to return the appliances. This individual advised me that he would not retrieve his appliances and I was to bring them to his store if I wanted a refund. I had paid extra for delivery with the purchase of the appliances. He continued to rant and yell and at that point, I ended the conversation. Aside from the owners childish and unprofessional behavior, I have legitimate health and safety concerns to be addressed. My 6 year old son is an insulin dependent type 1 diabetic and the temperature fluctuations and inaccuracies in the refrigerator space make insulin storage unsafe. HUGE issue right there. And I specifically chose a stove with a hot burner indicator due to the fact that I have 2 small children. I’m appalled and disgusted with my entire experience with this shop and the owner. I had thought I found a mom and pop shop to do business with - and I suppose I did, if mom is Joan Crawford and pop is John MCEnroe. Moral of the story - take your business ANYWHERE else and save yourself the headache and disrespect.

I bought a washer, dryer and refrigerator from this guy. 6 months later the refrigerator starts making noise. The warranty was up. I called him told him that. Asked if he would come out and look at it. And I knew it wasn’t going to be free. Said he would be there on a certain day. Never showed or called. Wouldn’t return my calls. Called from my husbands phone. Answers sets up another time. He did the same thing again. Don’t waste your time with this guy.
