I have been going to the one on El Camino Real to get wheel alignment. The last two times I have went to that one, they claim I had a bent arm and tie rod. Which then I would take to my mechanic and he said they are not. So, today, I decided to go to the Webster location. Very good service and helpful. They also did not mention anything about the arm or tie rod being bent. Even though I live literally across the street from the El Camino location, I will now start going to the Webster location. I am very pleased with this location.

Worst experience ever. Have learned not to expect much from places like this. They have set the bar at an all time low. Quoted me 2 hours. Took almost 4. Then tire wasnt even programmed. Their employees in the shop are laziest Ive seen in a while. Do yourself a favor. Never give them your business!

Went in for a tire rotation. They were pretty busy and only had 2 guys servicing vehicles with a third person coming in about an hour. Lorelei and Jason, the people who work up front, were very nice and helpful. Jason even took it upon himself to rotate the tires himself, which isnt his job. I was in and out in no time. This is what I call exceptional service.

I always go to Firestone for my service needs. I waited a long time today because it took 2 hours for my part to get delivered and the guy that finally brought the parts was a real jerk. Chad was great talking care of me though. They need to find another supplier to bring them parts when they are needed, not when its convenient for the driver. Would I go here? No!Sister in law went to this one due to being broken down with 2 flat tires.Flashforward. She needs 2 tires tires cost about 200 each which is what she paid prior.Tires wont be in for 3 days but for extra money (wont say how much) they can be here next day.Let me say discount tire wont do that.She needs an alignment which I told her to go somewhere else. They say if someone else does the alignment they cant guarantee her warranty she paid for.Thats horse s&%$!!!We towed there because it was closer than the other Firestone she bought. The other Firestone was much nicer when she purchased her tires and gave her options.Lets just say 2 tores, warranty, and alignment cost a little over 900.Discount doesnt threaten your warranty wont be valid if you go somewhere else for an alignment.Dont go there!

Ive been a customer of this location since just shortly after they opened. Having had good experiences with another Firestone shop, this one is closer to home for my family, so we moved our business there.This shop has met or exceeded our expectations from the beginning. These folks stand behind their work, and their prices are competitive. The staff is always friendly, but most importantly they are always *terrific* about communication. They return calls as quickly as any shop Ive ever used, never exceed the agreed-to scope of work, always lay out the options we have, and they give estimates I can count on. I dont know that Ive ever working with a repair shop that beats their consistent reliability in this regard.When I had a strange, intermittent problem with my Dodge RAM 1500, they worked hard to find the root cause, and upon determination that the work needed was something they were not comfortable with, they told me just that, told me why, and didnt even charge me for the time they put into the truck.One of the things I pay attention to is staff turnover. Every business has it, but the good ones retain good employees. I count this Firestone location as one of the good ones.

I have been coming particularly this location from at least 5 years and I had great experience until toady. Even after taking appointment it took almost two hours to get the oil changed. They got only one technician that’s it. No water in the refrigerator either. I have never seen Firestone that bad ever. I came all the way from league city to here because I have been coming here since I started coming to Firestone. But today’s experience is just disappointed.

My family has been using the Firestone services for generations, so I trust the Firestone brand. Rudy at the Firestone Complete Auto Care EL DORAD location confirmed our loyalties this last weekend. Traveling out of town with my son this last Sunday afternoon, my vechile unexpectadly needed emergency engine assistance. The EL DORAD location had three service men, including Mr. Rudy, and had near a dozen vechiles still to get done at close to 3pm. When we arrived and explained to Rudy our situation of being stranded, he explained how busy their location was that Sunday afternoon, but he also didnt hesitate to offer us assistance. And although it cause him and his team to end up staying after closing time, Rudy made sure my son and I got back on the road to home safely. Its rear to find the services that your great grandparents would recommend these days but I am SO truly grateful for their influences. And for my young adult son to witness the values of quality service and excellent customer service! Super solid place. Im not a car guy, which usually gets me in trouble at auto shops, but they didnt cheat me here, and I didnt feel like they were just trying to sell me on as much as possible. Very friendly mechanics and service folks. Nice facilities. The people are really what make it though. Awesome experience all around

Everyone here is really great, they were so accommodating, even offering to get me a ride home when my cars radiator exploded and I got stranded. After I picked up my car, it was still overheating but Carlos stayed after closing with me on the phone to advise me on what to do and how to handle it, I got it towed back to the shop, and they replaced my hose clamps for free!Theyve gained my long term business.

Ive had service at this location several times since they opened, and each time has been great. The service managers are helpful and friendly and got me back on my way quickly. Clean, pleasant waiting area with free WiFi so I can work while waiting. Convenient location off the freeway so I can have maintenance work done on the way to the office.

Called one day ahead to make an appointment for oil change and in cabin air filter. Was told over the phone that it would not be a problem to order filter in. Dropped off car the next day and and reiterated the importance of changing the air filter. They called me back about 2½hrs later to pick up my car, got my keys and paperwork and asked the clerk if everything was fine and if they replaced my in cabin filter, without skipping a bit he assured me it was taken care of....checked the filter a couple days later, its still the same filthy one as before.*Update..changed to one star because I was on the highway going about 65mph when all the sudden my skid plate came loose. Had to drag it for 10miles to the nearest dealer and had to replace it. This shop is very unprofessional if they can even secure everything correctly after an oil change

They lie a ton. One guy told me (I won’t mention his name) my rear tire wouldn’t pass state inspection and that it didn’t matter what I thought...the state inspector wouldn’t pass it. Little did he know I was aware of the whole state inspection standards and was testing to see if he would tell the truth playing dumb. I mean nowadays they all lie so if you want to survive that’s what you do. I came from a auto mechanic family. I figured it would work because I don’t look like I work on cars at all(nerdy looking Asian). You can tell a lot about car maintenance shops by if they’re willing to lie to make money. I know that’s how the industry works having family and people I know who work in but I’d pay $20 more elsewhere than give them my money. The founder of Firestone’s motto was honesty as the best policy. Nowadays some tire shops say whatever they can to make you feel your only option is to buy a tire from them. I also work for a ridesharing company and I asked another guy (won’t say his name) if they had discounts for ride sharers yesterday and he said no(he later claimed after I told him he was wrong that I asked him coupons...who in their right mind would ask about ridesharing coupons. they’re all called discounts...you don’t call it a military coupon)...he clearly was lying and the fact that he was the service MANAGER says a lot about the ethics...no apologies or nothing because he was stuck in arrogance. I mean lets assume he’s telling the truth that I said coupons...do you really think he’s foolish to not know what I’m actually asking. He could have said no we don’t have coupons but we have discounts. It’s a joke. I know he’s not stupid. Sometimes you just don’t address the lies. You just leave. It’s a heart issue because you can’t change people. It seems like it’s a work culture considering I got lied by two folks at the same store. Customers come first. I understand it’s business and their job to make money and market things well but not at the cost of compromising ethics.

They are very honest about what you Tally need and what you can wait to do for maintenance. Techs explain what they do and always get my car done by the promised time. Been going there over a year now and still very happy!

Had a flat to fix in rental. Explained that if it were to take too long that I would just take it to rental place and get a new vehicle. The guy told me two hours and here I sit 4 hours later.When you know someone is stuck from out of town and needs to get back on the road you would think an executive decision could be made to push you up in line to perform a 10-15 min fix. Especially after the stated two hour mark.Thanks...Thanks... Completely demolished my one day off a week between work and travel for work.

Will NEVER use Firestone again! I have had too many bad experiences with them and it doesnt matter which location. I have tried three different locations and there have been issues with all of them. Two times the NEW tires they sold me were bad and they wanted to blame it on everything but the tire. However, when they finally changed the tires, just to prove it was not the tires, the issue was resolved. I have been overcharged and was supposed to receive the overcharge on my next visit. On my next visit I paid more for that oil change than I had ever paid before. That oil change cost $63.33 and the most I had ever paid before was $48.00. I questioned this and was told I was given a $30.00 discount. NO! The $30.00 was what I was over charged on the previous visit. The store manager was supposed to call me about this issue; however, to this day I have not reviewed a call! I will not go back!

Dont come here for state inspections. They insist on gunning the engine up to 2000rpm in drive to test the emergency brake, which is absurd. Theres nothing in the Texas vehicle inspection criteria that states this required. I went down the street and got it done properly in half the time.

Went there for new brakes. They said they had the parts for my car. Took off from work to have them put on. They said they needed to order the parts after all, so I had to take off another day when they came in. Turns out that they ordered the wrong size brakes. I ended up not having the work done there since I already took off of work early 2 days.Three stars because they were pretty apologetic, I have had my tires replaced there and they do a good job.

Maintained my car for years and after taking it to this location and dealing with a very distrustful Alex, had to purchase a new one. I previously dealt with the Firestone on Fondren and Hillcroft for years with no major problems. Once I started taking it to this El Dorado location, I started having major problems. Every time I picked it up from here, it seems I left with more problems. And dealing with Alex just added to the rotten experience. Unprofessional and untrustworthy. Read the other reviews before taking your car to this location.

Two vehicles for oil change ALWAYS leave with more problems. NEVER leave with Bill under $400-600. Told us straight out lies about my husbands oil pan. Said they never changed oil in that vehicle before. Had paperwork to prove lie. Ripped off over and over, while trying to give them a chance.

Went there for an oil change and they told me 2 tires needed to be replaced and were not repairable. Since the price of the new tires seemed kinda high to me ($230 each for jeep Grand cheeroke) I took it to discount tire were I had a line of credit. Discount tire checked all 4 tires and couldn’t find one leak! So if ur thinking about going here (at least this location) I would be very wary.

Completely disappointed! I took our SUV in to have a new fuel pump installed and was quoted $1,008.00, which included the diagnostic fee. I inquired about waiving the diagnostic fee of $100.00 if they did the work for me. Ethan stated he could only take $30.00 off. (Keep in mind that most places will waive the diagnostic fee.) I was very disappointed he would not waive it, as I had already waited three days for the technician to return to work. (He was the only one who knew how to do the diagnostic test.) In the end, I picked up my SUV and had the fuel pump installed elsewhere for MUCH LESS!

I went in at around 11:30 to diagnose a noise from the front of my truck. I came back at 12:30 and was told that it was the front wheel hub and outer tie rod. The tech told me it should be about an hour to hour and a half, but having done it myself before, thought itd be closer to 2.5 hours, but since hed get started immediately that Id be out no later than 3. Come 3:20 and the hub still had not been pulled out, I informed the manager that I had to pick up my wife at work at 4:00 and had a function at my sons school at 5 which is an hour away. The manager stressed that his boss was on vacation and he had nobody else to ask about getting me a rental to go home with. He assured me itd be done. 4:00 passes and its still not assembled. Finally at 4:30 its finished and he offers a 5% discount to make it right. He comes back saying 15% which is a member discount, still nothing special. I tell him 20% across the board because I will be late picking up my kids from daycare which would cost me $50, and Id miss my sons function at the school that was from 5 to 630. He reluctantly agrees. Since Im in a hurry I swipe the card and pay. I notice later that I got 15% on part of the service, 5% on another part, and no discount on the rest. I went in this morning and he tried telling me that 15% plus that other 5% equals 20%. I explain basic math and show how he is still $80 off. He then says Im doing all of this arguing for $80 and then tries to tell me how hes losing money if he gave that much more off. I paid $538 for the same part they got from autozone for $272. Im currently waiting on him to send an email to his boss to fix this. Ive been screwed once before from firestone, thought Id give them a second chance 3 years later. It started off great and the manager could have made it better had he owned the error. I will update or delete this depending on how this turns out

Would highly recommend this Firestone! Our alternator went out on our car and my husband an I were stranded with our 3 small kids (5,4&2) around 5:30 Saturday and we were an hour from home. They didnt have our alternator in stock and wouldnt be able to get in until the following morning. We needed to get home but we have no family or friends within driving distance that could come get us, rental car places were already closed. The taxi places we called said they couldnt accommodate 3 car seats, we even called Uber! So we were stranded with 3 small kids. By this point we were sitting at the Chick-fil-a next door so the kids could play while my husband made phone calls and I was crying my eyes out when Chance from Firestone comes in and tells us that the airport has 24hr car rental places and that Hobby was only 20 minutes away and he would get All OF US to the airport to get a rental. AMAZING! Chance then let us know that he will have our vehicle fixed as soon as they got the part in the next day and call us when our car is ready. Davonna another employee then drove me, my husband and 3 kids to the airport and by this time is was after 7oclock so she took time from her own life to get my family to the airport to get a rental. Chance and Davonne went ABOVE AND BEYOUND to help us in a very stressful situation and we are so thankful for them both! They both honestly deserve to be recognized for their good deed. They were both so very kind to us and our kids and we will never forget that! Thank you both! Oh and the next day Chance called as promised when our vehicle was ready and they did and excellent job!!!
