I have been visiting the Verizon retailer store located on Kuhn Avenue in Wisconsin Rapids for about the last five or six years. Jon has been one of the best customer service representatives I’ve ever worked with from all the years I’ve shopped online or in person. Jessica assisted Jon at my most recent visit and they both work very well with their customers. I highly recommend this Verizon store over all Verizon stores because of how great they are. I literally drive over 2.5 hours to go to this Verizon store over the stores closer to my home, loyalty means everything.

4 stars only because they had one guy there the first hour and he was bouncing between 3 different customers. He did a great job of it but I felt that he could have used a hand to benefit not only the customers but himself. The one star off is for not having enough people. The employees I worked with are all very nice and to the point with no bs which I appreciated.

My experience going into the Verizon store in Wisconsin Rapids like the easiest in the most incredible I have ever had with a cellular service. Jon Bates was awesome and very helpful. Its so great to talk to an honest person and he went above and beyond to get me switched over to Verizon from Sprint. I was extremely happy and very impressed!

Theyre good for the basics like phones and internet devices but I would like to see some of the newer accessories like gaming controllers for phones now that cloud gaming is becoming bigger

Of all the Verizon stores Ive been to, I can honestly say Ive never met an employee with more dedication for doing his job and services to the customer than I have with Dale. He is so polite and courteous to the customer going above and beyond to help that person out. And for this reason I will drive the extra 45 minutes to go to the store to be waited on by Dale I cannot say enough about an exceptional employee that you have. Just wish you had a lot more like him in your other stores. Ive been to the point of dropping Verizon just because of the service you get from your untrained employees and go back to my old carrier US Cellular. But Dale convinced me otherwise and was able to help me with each and every problem I have had and that my wife has had. This employee doesnt get all the recognition he deserves in my opinion.

Jon, at the Wisconsin Rapids Verizon store is a very knowledgeable, patience and energetic employee. He will help you figure out just what you need to get accomplished what you want accomplished. He gives you options and gives you time to figure out if thats what you want and doesnt make you feel pressured. I am always happy to work with Jon. Ive been a Verizon customer for many many years and I always come out with a very positive experience he energizes me and makes me feel like yes I can handle the new equipment that I got. If I have trouble I can go into the store anytime and he makes the time to make sure I understand it. Never ever let this man leave, he is one of a kind.

Wow, I am so glad that next month our phones will be paid off, and we can rid ourselves of Verizon forever. We dont even get service in our house, but that is not the worst of it. The sales representative two years ago (I believe his name was Joe) reeked of marijuana, and I had heard he spent a lot of time at the casino. Anyway, we signed up for a 4 GB plan through him. A month later, we got our bill, and it was over $200! We figured out that Joe had signed us up for an unlimited data plan! We called customer service, and they said they would correct the problem and give us a credit for the following month. The following month rolled around and our bill was over $200 again! So we called customer service AGAIN, and they said they would switch it, but they had no record of us calling the month before and therefore, couldnt give us any of our money back. I am assuming a sales representative gets more commission for selling an unlimited data plan versus a 4 GB plan, so I blame Joe for this mishap, and believe he did it just to get a bigger commission check. Goodbye Verizon!

We transferred to Verizon yesterday but I called and talked to Jon a couple times before just to hear more about devices and plans. He was friendly and very accommodating in the store to not only me but other customers in the store as well. He made the transition EASY! We upgraded to s20 and note 20 and we have 4 bars in our house now 🙂🙂🙂

After trying several cell providers that had little to no coverage at home, I switched to Verizon. So far I have a decent signal at home. Steven was very helpful and knowledgeable with Verizon plans/policies and with setting up my phone for me. Glad I went to the store rather than try this on my own. Very satisfied thus far.
Wasted so much of my time, feel absolutely ripped off. 3 of the 4 items which I received do not work. Sales rep gave me wrong info which resulted in more wasted time. Planning my third return to the store in two days, may update review but seems unlikely. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed because I’ve been with Verizon for over a decade.
Terrible experience! Jon was our salesperson. Scam tactics. We cancelled the account and returned all of our products within 48 hours because of all the hidden details Jon failed to mention. He also wouldnt return our calls the day after he told us how much he cared about his customers.Now, admittedly, reading the fine print falls on us, but this is a sales person who brings new meaning to snake oil. Despite canceling our account, 3 months later we continue to be billed by Verizon. Ive had to contact Verizon Corp. 6 times. Each month Ive documented these contacts because of continued charges to a make believe account. Called Jon whose response was, I just cant do anything for you. Thats strange! I can give you the care center number.Now, Im all in albeit wasting more time on something that didnt have to be. Involved an attorney and the BBB to look into the practices of sales in this store. It appears, if the sales person can make a cancelled account look as if its still open for a period of time, they can still get their commission and incentives. Bottom Line....totally shady! Read the fine print and listen to your gut. If it sounds too good to be true...it is! On another note, ended up transferring our service to AT&T, in the same plaza, and our sales person was outstanding and absolutely GENUINE!

Working with Jeff was great. He got us set up with new phones, moved phone numbers, songs and apps from our old phones to the new ones. He accomplished this while simultaneously assisting another customer who was struggling to adjust to his own new phone. Very helpful.
