Update: Firestone contacted me and made the situation correct. They credited my account and really went above and beyond on my second appointment !! I upgraded my stats to reflect my current review feeling.1 star original review: at first I was very happy with the customer service and how quickly and detailed they were. I made an appointment on the app for noon. Showed up and was taken without a wait. They asked when I needed my car back by and I said 3. Figured that’s plenty of time. 250 rolled around and I called to see the update on time so I could know when to come back. They said because I was a walk in they haven’t had time yet. But I wasn’t a walk in I was a confirmed appointment..... my car was done by 6pm...6 hours later for just an oil change and an air filter change. They left my car a mess with the air filter change ..... the compartment was popped off with pieces missing and laying around and now I’m taking it elsewhere to make sure the oil change was properly done. I will never go back to this location

Worth the drive! I drive from North Cary even though there are 4-5 Firestones closer to me. These guys at Apex know their stuff! These techs are on another level. They *always* get the alignment on my DINAN M3 perfect— and on time. Don’t waste your time at other Firestones in the area. This is the best one by far!

After my second time coming here I decided this place deserves an excellent rating. The staff are extremely honest and helping. Both times they brought me out to the garage and visually explained my car problems. Even though they had to break the bad news to me about my lemon car, they went about it in a professional manner and explained every main concern.

Blown away by the service I got today. Unfortunately, Firestone had to be the bearers of bad news and inform me my engine had seized up. Chris expressed empathy in delivering the news and had excellent customer service when we came into the store. Dennis is a class act and offered great advice on next steps. He also offered me 50% off my diagnostics test because he felt it was the right thing to do. Good, honest and kind mechanics are hard to find and I would recommend these guys a thousand times over. Theyre having a special on lifetime alignments right now, where youll never have to pay to have your alignment done again. I used mine to have an appointment today, and they got to my car as scheduled and got me out in a timely manner.

Great place to go to for vehicle service when you need it. I feel they can help you out from simple repairs to big repairs they are upfront and honest with you even with the price of the repairs before they begin they are great people i went their this past Sunday i will be going back when my car needs fixing or a tune up.

The service at this location is wonderful. I felt they were honest and upfront about the work needed on my car. Brian, who works at the front desk, has always taken time to answer my questions in a thorough manner. After another Firestone location failed to address a major issue with my tires, the manager at the Apex location was really kind enough to give me 4 brand new tires at no cost! I couldnt believe it, as it wasnt even his store that made the mistake. I would highly recommend Firestone, in particular the Apex location.

Frustrated today. Called, ordered a new set of tires, and was assured all was well and an appt. was scheduled. I show up to have my tires put on and I’m not even scheduled for an appt. nor were my tires ever ordered. Just a note in the system I was spoken to. Staff didn’t seem too put out, like it was just another day. Maybe I’ll give them another shot one day, but bet I’ll double and triple check they’ve made good on their end of the deal before I take a day off from work. Disappointing I have to buy the tires and make sure they get to the tire store safely.

Dodged a bullet today with their recommended services. They wanted to charge 473.68 to replace my fuel filters. OEM is 55 bucks. Why they are charging for two separate sets at $125 and $198, I dont know.

If I could give them no star I would. Took my husbands truck up there for repair and within a couple months we had to take it to another firestone to have all the work they did to it redone. The manager there isnt very nice to females when they call to discuss the issue they have and ask for his upper management and he answers the yooo when you put him on hold to talk to your husband about the situation.

These guys are amazing I started having car trouble very early one morning and just showed up with no appointment. The manager took my car anyway and assessed my problems quickly and made sure to give me the opportunity to look at everything that was going on. Didnt have everything on hand but still made sure to go grab it from another location get back and still managed to get me in and out in 3 hours! I highly recommend them if you need work done in the Apex area!!!

I had several bad experiences at another firestone but I decided to change to this location after I looked at all the good reviews. The people at this location know what they are doing not only with the car but also with great customer service. This location fixed the issues that they had cause at the other Firestone location. I can’t thank this team enough, specially Francisco who was very understanding and helpful.

Had our car “repaired” earlier in the week by our repair man back in our hometown. Came down to Raleigh to visit family for the holiday weekend and noted that something was not right with the car. Not only were they open on a Sunday but they got the car right in, diagnosed the issue and gave us a detailed report of what was wrong to deliver back to our repairman, for FREE. Highly recommend them to anyone local or just stopping through!

I love this location and the amazing people who work there. I have had an oil leak on my Nissan Xterra for a few years, and one of their top technicians (Ricky) was amazing in fixing this. I also thank the Sales associate team of Brian, and especially Cisco, for their excellent communication skills in describing what was occurring while my vehicle was in the shop for two days. Id give this place 10 stars if I could!

Awesome service advisors and super knowledgeable technicians. The technician, Ricardo even came out and spoke to me about the repair! I always love to meet and know who is working on my car. Dennis was an excellent advisor and was not too pushy on selling other products. I recommend everyone to come to this location (it’s a longer drive but better service than some near my house) and buy the lifetime alignment warranty since you never have to pay for an alignment again!

After looking at the reviews I decided to get my alignment done on my car at the Apex location. The staff was very nice and even price matched the service when I considered going to a different location. Overall, the actual work done to the car is great. No more problems with my car drifting. HOWEVER, I did end up finding that the air filter was not clipped back into place when they had checked it. I really wish they hadnt touched anything on the rest of my car because I really ONLY wanted the alignment done and tires rotated. Luckily it was found about 2 weeks after my appointment. I understand it could be an easy thing to forget, but it could cause the car to have additional issues. While the staff did attempt to sell me other work/products, they were thankfully not too pushy about it.

I was absolutely thrilled with the service and professional treatment I received. My vehicle has 24K miles. After replacing front rotors/pads in Ohio and driving 700+ miles back to Raleigh, Daniel was able to quickly diagnose and adjust an annoying squealing sound on the new pads/rotors caused by the backing plate rubbing the rotors. When he recommended turning the rears that was no brainier. The $90 spent for the two hours to complete the job gave me the reassurance that Im good for another 30K + miles !!!

Wonderful that they are open on Sunday. I only needed a state inspection and did not get a sales pitch for parts or repairs. An hour for an inspection is a long wait, but the lobby was clean and comfortable, and where else could I get this done on a Sunday?

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted in a professional and courteous manner by Bryan and he nicely took some information from me and proceeded to get my wheel alignment underway. He told me it would take about an hour. Not only did Bryan inform me of the progress during the alignment, but it took about half the time. I also found my car to be in the exact same condition that I brought it in, which I really appreciate because a lot of repair shops get greasy fingerprints everywhere. 100% would come back for anything I need and highly recommend to everyone. I took my car in for a simple brake job and discovered that the dealer that sold me the car 2 years ago failed to replace defective equipment. This was going to cost me an additional $500-$600. Thanks to the good folks at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Apex, they really went above and beyond to help me by reducing the costs for parts and labor. I have been bringing both my vehicles here for years and they have always done right by me. If you worry about being taken advantage of or being overly charged for unnecessary repairs, I can’t recommend them enough for their awesome and reliable service! Talk to Dennis Jones. I am a loyal Firestone customer and have been to several locations. This was by far one of the better interactions with a Firestone location and reminded me why I choose this chain originally. The staff here was very knowledgeable and when presented with the chance to perform an expensive service they gave me cheaper alternatives (headlight replacement vs. headlight restoration).Since my preference is to drop car off and return (much) later, I cannot speak on the speed of their services but overall I was very pleased with the work done on my car (tires, oil change, headlight restoration) and will be back to this location!

Visited for an alignment on my sports car. Jon the tech on the job and the rest of the team were great to work with. They took their time to make sure everything was done accurately and careful with the car overall. I think I have found a shop I would trust my daily drivers to.Its nice to know that there are still genuine people out there that you can tell care about the services they provide and take pride in their work! It really shows. Give them a chance to earn your business too.

I used the Apex Firestone store several times now for different automotive needs with two different cars. The experience was always great. The staff communicates well and they usually finish faster than the estimated time. Prices are fair and they are not pushing additional services which builds trust [with me].

This place is pretty quick but I’m iffy on them doing what they are telling you they are doing. I paid for the windshield wipers to be changed and instead they just placed the new ones on top of the old ones which were still attached and left them that way. I got on the road, turned on my wipers and the new ones suddenly fell off on the ground. If they don’t even test your wipers or even actually put the new ones on (a easy task) can you trust them to do the other stuff?

Dennis the General Manager and his team always give us great customer service. They are upfront and honest. They don’t try to add on services you don’t need. But they do make suggestions for items that they see may come up down the line. I have multiple vehicles serviced there and have never had an issue.

Worst service ever get

Went in without an appointment at 2pm on a Sunday as they were very busy. I was told my car would be looked at within the hour so I waited, less than an hour I was told I needed new brake pads, rotors, calibers the whole deal..I was very shocked by the outcome but Dennis assured me this needed to be done to prevent further damage and even gave me a discount. They stayed open later than 5pm as I picked up my car at 5:45 to assure my car was finished that day. I truly appreciate the honesty and always will come back!

They were quick to get my car in to investigate a noise. Quoted me over 900 dollars for a new alternator and belt. Declined any service and went to another place and got quoted only 500 dollars. A much better deal.Update: after realizing just how difficult it is to work on my car, especially when the alternator belt is looped through the engine mount. I can see how that would be $900. I guess I was too quick to judge a chain repair shop.

I would give them a zero if it were possible. They cheated us out of money and tried to get over $1500 more. They were also wanting to charge us to repeat a test after they repaired the item that was broken, to my thinking the second test (which was the same as the first) would verify they did the repair correctly.

After a very stressful car trouble morning, the Apex Firestone helped me out in a friendly, efficient, and sooner than anticipated manner despite being extremely busy. Taking the time to be calm,kind, and thorough no matter what their own stress is like, is becoming more rare these days. They will definitely be my new go to place for car care.

Be sure to make an appointment! Staff is nice, but if you dont make an appointment, dont plan on getting anything done. I have gone in a few times without an appointment and had to wait a very long time (fine, my fault I guess), but this morning I went in for an inspection and they didnt even have anyone there that could do an inspection!

The front desk was very attentive to my needs and my car fixed to my satisfaction. I was in to have my radiator hose installed since it was leaking. It only took a few minutes and I was back on the road. Great work!

The service is great, particularly Dennis the manager as he always goes the extra mile to make sure youre satisfied with their efforts. We initially visited this location because of its proximity, but keep returning because of the great, friendly service. May not always be the cheapest, but they do offer price matching.

Came in with my car and told them the front wheel bearing was going out I just wasnt sure which side (thought it was driver side), dropped car off, they call me later in the afternoon saying it was the back and insisted I needed two new back tires and work done to the rear axle. They said this would fix the issue but would cost $600. I paid what I like to call Stupid Tax and trusted their professional opinion. Got my car back, same rumbling, ordered the parts online to fix driver side front wheel bearing and it fixed the issue. I highly recommend going to a smaller auto shop instead of this big chain. They do not stand for the integrity they have posted right inside their building. If you go, be prepared to pay some stupid tax yourself and get recommended to fix non-vital problems on your vehicle.

Had a dead battery and the jump on the way was running a bit late. It was near closing and during my call the guy on the phone offered to personally stay a few minutes late to make sure I got taken care of. It didnt come to that and I got in before close but I obviously still appreciate it. First time dealing with them but I know Ill be sure to come back.

Came in close to closing time wanting to get my car checked over after running over a shovel that fell from a car in front of me on the highway. I had planned on making a beach trip that night and wanted to make sure it was safe. Most places were closed or about to close and wouldnt take me. They looked at it no problem and even accommodated an oil change I needed that put them past closing. Everyone was very helpful and so friendly and even had recommendations for a place I could get a replacement seat done for my husbands truck when I asked! I will definitely be back the next time I need any car advice or work done!

My family has been taking our cars to this Firestone ever since it opened. The work and the customer service are both outstanding. Theyve always been fair and honest with their recommendations and prices. And the service guys actually got to know me. Even when I came in without an appointment, they knew my name and remembered my car model. Now that Im living in California, Im looking for a replacement mechanic. I really want to stay with Firestone since I have Firestone tires and the lifetime alignment deal, but all of the Firestones in my area have TERRIBLE reviews. 1 - 2 stars and horror stories. It makes me appreciate these guys even more. I miss you John!

Last week my check engine light came on, I took the car up to Dennis and his crew because they did a honest and amazing job helping me get replacement tires under warranty. Not only were they able to identify my issue with the engine, but in 24 hours able to order and repair my issue. It was a pricy problem...but Dennis agreed to price match any quote I got elseware. Absolute amazing customer service. Will be back for sure

As a female Ive found myself being over-charged at car places time and time again. I can honestly say Firestone had a great price (be sure to check their website for coupons!), great service, and wonderful employees. They truly run an ethical business. I paid to have my rotors resurfaced & the machine accidentally cut them down too thin. Instead of pretending like nothing happened or charging me for the cost of new rotors, they replaced them for me. I also somehow ended up with a flat tire while they had my car, which was irreparable- They replaced this free of charge as well, without even being asked. THANK YOU for the great service and ethical reaction to two very random incidents. I will definitely be bringing my car back!

Just had some work done at Firestone to change oil filter and oil less than 500 miles ago. They said they changed it but had to get oil cooler replaced and was told the oil was either used or never even changed. They also told me that the filter never was changed as well.I do not recommend this facility and will never go again.
