I have to say, I was very pleased with the work they did for my car. Everything about the entire appointment was great, but I gave this place a four out of five stars because of one thing. When I came in for the appointment, there was no clear instructions of where to park, so I was very confused where I needed to be in the dealership to park for the appointment. I understand where to go for next time, but I hope this is something that could be cleared up better for future customers and guests.
I had set up looking at a car with an online rep. When I arrived at the lot after a 40 minute drive there I was told it sold. They didnt give me the courtesy of a phone call to let me know that. And then all they cared about was selling me a different car. They already lost my trust. I wouldnt buy anything here

My husband and I purchased a used car here a little over a month ago, and our experience was extremely nice. We had been looking for the right car for our family for about a month and was starting to run out of steam. We had spent whole weekends driving around and test driving cars and dealing with pushing sales people. Then we just happened to stop by Matt Castrucci. It was so refreshing. No one was hounding us to make a decision or trying to pressure us into buying anything. It was very laidback and relaxed which to me, made the whole experience refreshing. Everyone was extremely polite. We were able to find a nice, used vehicle big enough for our family of five, and within our price range. This might not mean anything to anyone else, but their COVID safety was excellent, which our family truly appreciated. And to top it off, we did have an issue with the battery, but my husband drove it up the next morning and was home after only 30 minutes with a brand new battery inside, which tells me they care about what they’re selling people. I would definitely recommend to anyone I know to shop with them.

Almost useless. They are so backlogged at Kia service they would not even diagnose my car for 3 weeks even though I was 1,000 miles from home. Would never go there again.
About 1-2 months ago I came here to look for a car. When I told him my price range, he turned away.

Went to get more information on a truck we saw on the lot. Dealer said it was mismarked and wanted at least 1200.00 more than sticker price. No apology, no explanation, nothing. He said he wouldnt buy anything from this place himself. That really tells you something. I would give a negative star if it were possible. Buying a car is stressful enough.

My car was towed into the Kia service center. The first week it was there I got the run around, it had a recall on the engine. They were short staffed and backed up. It wasnt till I asked to talk to the service manager that I got answers. Going into the second week with no car I got a call on Monday, they ran a test on it that failed and were waiting on Kia to ok a new engine. I heard nothing else till I called Friday and was told Kia denied the failed test and wanted it ran again. They ran the engine test again it failed. Kia said run it again. Low and behold the third test past. My car that died and left me stranded on the high way had a computer issue that took 2 wks to figure out. I was told my car was fine I could pick it up, it would be washed and was inspected. I left the car lot with a car that was not washed and had a low tire light on. I will not be doing any more business with Matt Castrucci. 2 wks with no car is ridiculous.

Salesman flat out said they didnt have what I wanted. I said yeah, I already saw one. He then said no, it doesnt have 3rd row. I then showed him the 3rd row seats and walked away. Guess you dont want a sale.
I have been getting my oil changed since I purchased my Kia in 2015, I can honestly say they are always great with customer service until Penny showed up. Now I dont usually say this as I work in retail and seen amazing customer service from all, but Penny stands out! So personable and real. Not that others where not but she knows customer service and apparently cars!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CAREI bought a car from Matt Castrucci used cars a couple of months ago. I was never offered a CarFax, but after I bought it I noticed signs of a previous accident and body work. That is fine, a deal is a deal. However, a couple of months passed and my bumper popped off while going down the highway.I contacted them and brought my car in to look at when their body shop guys where there. After much confusion as to why I was even there, they finally took my keys. I was offered no loaner, no ride home, and no place to wait so I UBERED back to my house. I was sure they would see the body work they had done before and fix the issue.I was contacted right when I got back and told that I had been in an accident and it wasnt their problem and they wouldnt fix it (Pictures attached to show no signs of accident). I then had to UBER back to get my car with nothing to show but a lot of wasted time and money for dealing with these true to life Used Car Salesmen.I would seriously caution anyone from giving their used car lot a thought at all. I will update this post when I hear back from the Better Business Bureau and Ohio Attorney General Consumer Protection Agency.
A routine oil change and cabin filter replacement, it was completed on time including a courtesy car wash. No additional work was recommended and they went over the safety check, very courteous service all around.
So Ive never bought a car through financing and today i almost gave up because it terrified me worrying about costs, if a car is worth the financing, and lastly... going to a different dealership yesterday called jeff wyler Chevy and they almost got me to purchase a trax for $14,000+ that had no floorboard in the trunk and a chipped windshield where they were going to charge me extra to put a floorboard in it making it seem like i only had two options...but i remembered talking to this sales guy named andrew gooder who never pushed me to even come in after id initially contacted him two weeks prior and he just seemed...nice...so i called him and asked if he would talk to me about vehicles and if I had any other options because I didnt know what I was doing. he said sure come on in. I told him that Ive been trying hard to rebuild my credit because I dont really have any and throughout the whole process he treated me like I was the best person ever which was completely opposite from my experience the day before and I felt like I mattered. long story short I ended up buying an $18,000 car that I LOVE. They were detailing it and I was outside playing with my kids and waiting...and I looked in to show them the car and he was actually washing the car himself to help with the guy doing it because we had been there for a while...who does that? I cant even thank him enough for everything...most importantly...for making me feel like i mattered because Ive been trying so hard to get my credit up there to eventually buy a home. anyways if you feel like me try going to this guy because he was just honest and good.
We always find what we are looking for and at a price we can afford. This is the third car we have bought There. Hugh inventory, why go anywhere else? Great sales people!

I really did think this was a good dealership because I have a friend who’s gotten multiple vehicles off of this lot and they’ve been great solid vehicles. However.. I just purchased a 2008 Chrysler Sebring convertible off the used lot and I haven’t even had it a month and my engine has already blown on me. I tried calling to talk to someone and my phone calls weren’t returned. & now I’m still waiting on my title in the mail so I can take this car to the junk yard.. just called them about it and they still haven’t sent my title out so now I have to go pick it up later this week.. but how can I pick it up when I don’t have a car anymore because I was sold a lemon! Would highly recommend that you people are very careful getting used cars off this lot!

Ive bought 3 cars from here over the years but this time I felt that I was alone looking for a car. Person attending to me didnt want to come outside or help me because of the temperature but overall this place does great.
Went to look at used cars. Been out there twice, on second visit at planned on buying a car. Wanted to drive the car and have a mechanic of my choice look at it. The salesperson wanted me to just go of their service center car inspection. Which I wasnt going to do. Then said I need to have Insurance to take the car on a test drive. Okay, I have insurance then I was told oh you have to have full coverage to drive their car. Long story short had the vehicle looked at by mechanic of my choice . Was two real issues with the car one being a safety issue other being a mechanical issue. And obviously they know this but instead they will still try to sell you this car for top dollar with this problem so it becomes your problem and not theirs. Didnt buy a car and plan on not buying any other car from them. I know its a used car but thats shady practice

I give the salesman 5 stars. Andrew was highly attentive, knowledgable and very kind.The dealership had oodles of cars but not so many in our specific price range. However, we do feel like we got a good deal - the right car at the right time for the right price. We thank the staff and management.The reason for the lower stars: this place is inaccessible for handicapped. Im on a cane and there were no handrails going up steps to the office. Once inside, the old style of open office - everyone hears your business - was in effect. The restrooms were down a flight of stairs. The office itself was not clean.The good news is that our salesperson said that the dealership is going to build new buildings. Im happy to hear that as I think it will create a better work atmosphere and a more professional sales space for the people working there (all of whom seemed very friendly).

Poor customer service. More concerned with online sales. My husband and I came with an exceptional line of credit and cash in hand but were treated like 2 kids who had never purchased a vehicle and because we were looking for me a work car instead of almost brand new they didnt seem interested in the sale. Definitely DO NOT GO!!

Watch out for hidden fees, especially if you finance through them. They gave me an out the door cost quote, and then I find out later that they added $250 for the finance fee. Shouldnt that be factored in the out the door cost? Thats why its called out the door- its the total of everything. Other than that, I had a decent car-buying experience.

My son recently had a car accident and we were anticipating a payment from insurance to purchase a different car for him. I did the research online and knew what cars were on the lot that were within our budget($4000) before we walked in. When I told the salesman what our budget was, he kind of cringed and said he wasnt sure what he would have for us. He did end up showing us a car that had just been listed and we were able to test drive it. The car sounded horrible but he kept saying that they would get it serviced so we could look at it again when it sounded better. My son seemed okay with this so I gave the salesman my cell phone number and he told me he would get in touch with me when something else came in within our budget. Again, they had other cars on the lot within our budget but it was obvious that they didnt want to show them. I understand that $4000 is not a lot of money to spend on a car, but its what we had and it would have been a cash payment directly to them. Its been a week and I havent heard a peep from the salesman and we were able to find a good car for my son that fit our budget. Dont go here if you only have a limited budget because its apparent that they only want the big sales.
I had a great experience with Andrew Gooder at Matt Castrucci. I had first visited a dealership in Vandalia back on Sunday and things were going good until it got to the point of discussing financing. I let that salesman know that I was already approved for car loan with Universal 1 credit union and that they just need a buyers order sent to them. The salesman said that he understood but he still tried to push their financing to me. After I left there I decided to go to Matt Castrucci to take a look at a SUV.When I got there, Andrew introduced himself and I explained to him that I was interested in the black Equinox they had. Unfortunately, he had just sold it to another customer. He had me take a look at the rest of their inventory and I test drove a couple of cars. I ended up loving a 2014 Certified used Kia Optima. When it came time to talk financing, I explained to Andrew that I was approved for a car loan with U1 and he immediately asked if I would like to have a buyers order sent to them. That made me feel appreciated. A few days later, I was able to sign paperwork and take ownership of my new car.Thanks to Andrew, this was the best experience I had ever had when it comes to purchasing a car. If you are in hunt for a good used car, I highly suggest that you take a drive and visit Andrew Gooder at Matt Castrucci Auto Mall. He and the rest of the crew will make sure you are taken care of.
The sales man that helped me was very nice and polite. Only reason they get two stars. My current review mostly relates to the business practices this dealership exhibits for new sales. This is MY experience!Remember they are here to make money, not be your friend at all.As a buyer with excellent credit, and the financial means, I went in looking for a 2021 Civic Type R. It so happens that one came in right as i was looking for one. The car wasnt even in the showroom when i looked at it, and was told price was MSRP. It wasnt the color i wanted, but after 48 hrs i decided it would do. When i called back, i was told it was now 2600 over MSRP, and the info mentioned to me before was wrong. (They will hustle and tell you every reason under the sun to justify it, remember, car still a car, buyer that CAN buy it = a sale, no matter how you word it). No reason to pay over 116% of the cars value.Anyhow, my issue is their inability to negotiate a price. My offer was 1000 over MSRP, and was denied with simply indicating the Sales Manager will let it sit there until it sells. Please remember folks, MSRP is always above invoice price (usually 8-10%). On top of that, manufacturer gives them rebates, incentives etc. They NEVER tell you this of course, they rely on your ignorance in order to make the most money. THIS IS NOTHING NEW. Any way you slice it, they will make money of course. But on top of this, i was asked days later if i gave them any further consideration. Seriously? I declined their asking price, they declined my offer as mentioned above, and still think im interested after we parted ways?Luckily, a dealer in KY had the exact car i was looking for at MRSP!! I did not have to compromise on any of the things i wanted. Funny how the dealer that gained my sale indicated that they sell at MSRP because the dealer owner thinks markups are not right.Comparing my experience between these two.... night and day! They loss my business.... like they care anyway.

Tires and transmission flush $1600.00, I’ll take it elsewhere! Also warranty to cover loaner vehicle! No, they said Covid-19, so had to rent a car too! Go Elsewhere if you Can!

Bought a used car that unfortunately had an issue with paint a few months after purchase. The used car team lead by the general manager, Jamie Brown, were outstanding. Extremely pro-active, attentive, and work with me to get a resolution. I highly recommend them, and they definitely have earned a returning customer.

Needed to find a well priced used car. They had great selection and great prices. Our salesman was Taylor Hutzel and he was wonderful. He really took time to care for what we were looking for rather than selling us something we didnt need. We have a young baby and he was very patient and understanding. I purchased my car yesterday and checked my out the door price with the Kia Sales Manager. However when I arrived home and checked over the numbers The price that I was quoted for a final price was increased slightly, I was charged the Document fee that the Coughlin Kia in Columbus said that they do not charge because it is just a way for dealerships to add more profit and of course without being told I was charged the extra $250 fee. I was also charged a finance fee of $195 which was never disclosed. I didn’t want to go the finance route and only did so because it was the only way I could get the $3,500 rebate being offered by Kia. Hidden fees tend to often frustrate customers. In total I was charged $506.32 extra.

I had a horrible experience the salesman there basically ignored me when I was looking for a new truck. I looked at their inventory online before going. I showed up and the first truck that was similar to the one I was looking at was not the correct one. So the guy basically sits me in front of a computer while he goes back to his office and says take a look at our inventory. I told him what I was looking for and he basically shoved me in front of a computer to look myself, that’s his job if I’m there, to show me what they have.This is while there is like 3 other sales people sitting around doing nothing. I found the one I was looking for and figured out what the deal was they had the mileage listed swapped on the two trucks because they did look similar. I asked to see that one and the guy basically acted like I was interrupting his entire day. I decided to take my nearly perfect credit score and large down payment to interstate ford where I walked in told the guy what I was l looking for and he came back with the perfect truck, low mileage, perfect shape and a great price.
