Everyone at college have to go express was extremely friendly, efficient, and informative. The managed to made something as unpleasant as an eye exam feel quick, painless, and easy. Dr. Tran was very informative and fun to talk to. Overall great service!

Came in to get an eye exam for glasses, and everyone was super nice and helpful. They even helped me choose out frames. Dr. Tran really knows his stuff and answers all of your questions.

Doctor would not listen to me when I told him that monovision lenses were not working for me and had me try 4-5 different pairs over the course of a few months. When I didn’t pick up the last pair due to both the pandemic and being worn out on trying something that wasn’t working, I emailed asking about just using distance lenses instead. I was told I would need to come in for a new appt due to the time that had passed. I was fine with that if was to be considered a follow up but I was told that, no, I would have to pay for a new exam. I had already paid for one exam and I was not listened to nor was a solution ever attempted to be reached to find contacts that worked for me. Super disappointed. Will be finding a new eye doctor.

This place was awesome. The staff is super knowledgable and helpful. The doctors are thorough and personable. Overall, the experience was top notch and I will be back for sure. Thank you for all you guys do!

Likely the best visit to an optometrists office Ive ever experienced! Dr. Tran is absolutely fantastic. He was friendly and thorough, asking all the right questions and listening attentively. He gave me some excellent recommendations for adjustments to my usual work and class related activities to help with some issues Ive been having. The staff is wonderful, too, and I barely had to wait. Ill definitely be back next year!

This is the best eye doctor Ive been to! I was definitely skeptical about going to a school optometrist, but I literally have no complaints. My eye appointment was stress free, and my glasses came in a good time. Recommend - 10/10 !

Ive gone here a couple times now. Always greeted by pleasant staff. Star is super nice and helpful in the front. Dr Park is great. She is very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable during the exam.

Service was great. Everyone went out the way to make me feel comfortable and appreciated. But they sold the idea that i was going to save more money than I was going to spend on contact lenses, but did not mention was that i was going to pay the entire original amount right at that moment. And that I had to do most of the work on my own time. So it kinda felt like got tricked into paying full price and to sign up for Acuvues rewards program.

I just got my eyes examined here and Ive picked a great pair of frames. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and seemed to care about getting me the best treatment and deals for my budget. I havent had trust thorough and comfortable of an ocular exam in ages. I was seen by Dr. Park and I bet the other doctor is just as great.

Very Displeased with the customer service. I have attempted for over a week to reach someone via phone call and email with no reply. My glasses broke within a year of purchase and I have been trying to get someone to help me. This is very unfortunate.

Everyone at this establishment is very friendly and professional. I had a great experience here. My eye doctor Dr. Park was very thorough with my eye exam. She answered all my questions. Ray was also very helpful when it came to me making a payment. He answered all my questions. Since I was paying out of pocket they gave me a 25% discount on everything that had to with my glasses.The people inside were all very friendly. Will come back to here and I recommended this place to anybody in Denton.My only complaint is my dilation was done before the exam. Im used to it done after my eye exam.

Everyone in this office was SO patient and helpful! I have anxiety with having anything around eyes and they truely made me feel at ease with each test. Additionally, while working out pricing and choosing frames, Eric was incredibly kind and patient with my mom on the phone as she was helping to pay for the visit, prescription and frames. Highly recommend going here for your optical needs and concerns!

They were great. Getting glasses for the first time. Dr. Park was very helpful in explaining what was happening with my eyes and Ed was very patient while I picked the frames. Also, since I didnt have vision insurance, they really worked with me and gave me a 25% discount since I was paying out of pocket.

I enjoyed my visits here. I came as a first time contact wearer, and they were very helpful. There were long waiting periods at times, but the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The doctor gave me contacts that are great for my dry eyes! A little expensive, but they make sure to give you all your options with insurance and rebates.

The staff here is so nice! They were all very accommodating and helpful and made sure to explain everything very well. They have a ton of different brands of glasses as well, and the eye exam itself was easy and quick.

Love, love, LOVE the doctors, they are patient and explain everything perfectly. The staff is a little odd and not helpful at times. They charge you restocking fees for mistakes they made, but its better than keeping a box of contacts that you cant see out if. They really shouldnt make their customers pay for the staffs mistakes. Too many problems to continue with them, Ive been a patient/customer since this location first opened but now I have to find a new place.

Very professional and chill experience as a first timer! Dr. B and the techs were all very cordial and knew their stuff, but didn’t push the bottom line which I very much appreciated. Definitely would recommend!

Just wonderful. The staff are very friendly, the Dr. is great and the exams are very thorough. I love the way they make sure to show you all the pictures, so you get to see the inside of your eyes. I have slight astigmatism and experience ocular migraines, and they were able to answer all my questions about those things and prescribe lenses that will address those problems.They also have a good selection of frames so you can find something in your budget.

The service here is amazing. They were very informative, kind, and helpful. I was originally just going to get my prescription and order a pair of glasses online or buy from Walmart but now Im glad I purchased a good quality pair at this center

Eye exams for contacts start at $139 for students and go up (max $159) based on astigmatism/need to fit contacts more thoroughly. Really attentive customer service, the student giving the preliminary exam and doing the appointment setting was NOT prepared to be doing so...but Dr. Blois was very thorough and very sweet. Biggest drawback: If going for contacts, they give you sample contacts to try out, but refuse to give you a prescription until after youve had a follow-up. Whats more...after the follow-up they will only give you a prescription for those specific contacts...so if you want to shop around on your own...thats not an option. Ive personally never had an experience in which an eye doctor forces you to buy a certain brand. Im very disappointed in this.

The staff at the front desk canceled my appointment without telling me. When I arrived for the appointment, they told me they had given my appointment to someone else and didn’t even apologize for their mistake. I would steer clear of this facility. If they can’t even schedule an appointment, how can you trust them to take care of your vision?

I first started coming here when I went to the university. I graduated years ago and still choose College Optical Express. The staff have always been friendly and I like that they give you discounts on frames if you have bought a pair of glasses with them before. Any one can come here for great service. Not just for students.

Their modern technology makes an eye exam more fun than it should be.When I noted that a particular frame was a bit too pricy, Star went above and beyond finding me a similar pair for half the cost.If you give College Optical Express @ UNT a try, they will win your business.

Dr. Tran and his staff were very attentive, thorough, and professional. Ive had eye exams (at other clinics) since the 2nd grade, and this was by far the most personal and informative. Also very convenient if youre on campus anyway. That said, they did misquote my exam over the phone, so cover your bases and double-check if youre worried about cost.

Horrible Customer Service! I have been to multiple optometrists since I move around quite frequently, and the customer service here was awful. The optometrist that I met was very rushed, and I paid so much for contact lenses and glasses, much more than most of the other places that I have been to. As a current UNT student, I just wanted to let other students know to stay away. One of my friends came here and she also thought the same thing. If this was a bad day, Im not sure how many bad days they have. :(

Tried to make an appointment and receptionist would not make my appointment without insurance information. VSP is card less. All you do is give your birth date and last four of social. She wouldnt listen and kept asking me for a group Id. It really bugs me that people just cant be bothered to do their jobs. Please look into hiring competent staff. I am a family of four and will take my business elsewhere since you clearly dont want it.

I have been going here for the past 3 years and I would definitely recommend using them if you are a student at UNT. My favorite doc is Dr. Kim Blois. She is the sweetest and really knows her stuff! They also have a great selection of the latest styles of frames. 👍👍

Great experience! Being the first time I have had to wear corrective eye wear, College Optical Express was fantastic! Ran into some bumps, not at all their fault, corrected the problem promptly.

First time Ive ever seen inside my eyes. If you think about it, thats amazing. Prices were great and service was better.

I went in for a vision exam, was told I needed glasses, and purchased them. When I received the glasses, my vision was worse. The second exam showed that I actually did not need glasses. When I asked for my money back I was told that they only offered store credit, and it was suggested that since I had no need for glasses, I might want $300+ dollars worth of eyedrops. I suggest that you find another, more honest optometrist. *Update* I was eventually offered an apology and a refund.

I have enjoyed my experience the past couple times I have been in here. They are nice, warm, and welcoming people who are quick and punctual in service. They have a decent selection of glasses and sunglasses and work with any insurance, alumni discounts, TWU/UNT friendly, and also accept Medicaid. They have an outreach clinic that has weekend hours called Wink.

Probably the best overall eye exam I ever received. Everyone was very nice, very efficient, and very helpful. And I got my glasses in 3 days!

Im disappointed with my experience here. I came in for an intial appointment ($65) to treat eye pain and severe sensitivity. I was given more than one reason for what it could potentially be. After having five different types of drops in my eye, I was prescribed steriod drops ($50) and was told to come back in a week for a follow up appointment. My eye started to look better and when I came in for my follow up, I learned that now my other eye needed the steriod drops as well as prescription allergy drops. ($50). When I was given the paper for the prescription, I was then told I needed to pay $59 for the follow up appointment. I was never told before hand about the fee. All I got was a sorry. I feel like I was taken advantage of and misinformed. I never leave reviews and its nothing personal to the people who work there but it was unprofessional and I dont want it happening to anyone else.

It has an excellent location and the service was nice as well. I would definitely recommend it.

It was really bad experience with them: the stuff there gave me expired contact lenses (expired for more than 4 months) and still said that its OK for expiring for 90 days! What!!!??? Cannot forgive..They messed up with the expiring date, also messed up the RIGHT or LEFT EYE!!!! And when I asked them which one (OB/OD) is for right/left eye, they said those people know what it is!!! What?? I think I have my right to know, and they even messed up with it ~The stuff were not from UNT, so Please dont mess up with UNT, OK?

What a great experience! I had to drive out of my way to get to this office, but I am SOOO glad I did. It was totally worth it! Dr. Tran is amazing -- he was thorough, and he VERY patiently answered all my questions (trust me, I ask a LOT of questions). And the staff was soo friendly! Ive never had a great experience visiting the eye doctor and picking out new glasses (sually, all I remember is the annoying air that the machine blows into my eyes), but after leaving Dr. Trans office, I was excited about my new glasses and contacts, and I couldnt stop raving about Dr. Tran and his staff to my friends and family. Theyve definitely got a repeat customer in me.

Had my first appointment with College Optical Express (COE) last week, and it was a great experience. I will be returning this week to purchase my frames/lenses.With COE located on the UNT campus, COE encompasses the welcoming and pleasant spirit of the university!
