I visited this store for the first time. I need new glasses. A lady by the name of Brenda came over immediately to help me with my questions and she also assisted me with my questions regarding insurance. She was extremely helpful. This is where I want to order my glasses from now on.

Before I had cataract surgery I bought all my glasses here. The staff are very knowledgeable about fitting frames to faces. I never had to have the lens re-made. Also, their prices are competitive.

Great job working with my insurance, Stephanie helped me to pick frame and she was very helpful. I came with my 3 yo and they even make feel him comfortable while I was picking up glasses. Very friendly atmosphere.

Stay away from JCPenny Optical in Denton. Attempted to schedule an eye exam online via phone, PC and laptop. Across all three devices the web link to schedule an appointment is broken, screen capture attached, and has remained inaccessible for at least the past week Ive been attempting to make an appointment. The next option was to call the store and schedule an appointment. I called a left a voicemail with my name and phone number and the reason for my call, and never received a call back. Finally, I drove to the location and arrived at approximately 3:40. There was a clock on the desk with a note that read Out to Lunch until 4 PM. My observation is the associate took an additional 20 minutes on their lunch break, and to repeat, never returned my phone call. I tried again the next day to call; again the phone went to voicemail where I left a second voice message, and again never received a call back. If the quality of service is this bad just to schedule an appointment, imagine the quality of care a patient would receive in the exam itself. I would not recommend this location to friends or family and instead took my business to Village Vision Center in Highland Village, who I would highly recommend. The 5 star reviews for VVC speaks for itself. Stay away from JCPenny Optical in Denton. Absolutely terrible.

Their optical manager actually cares about if the glasses are right for you and went into detail how there are glasses size and helped me find a pair that was the right size
