I had an appt with an assigned doctor, she ended up not being available to see me so I saw another doctor and he was not nice. He rushed me, and the process of the eye exam. I wasn’t given many options. The contact lenses I order were absolutely terrible. They get super foggy within hours. I wish I had went back and got a refund cause I spent a pretty penny. Will not return unfortunately.

I have been a customer of this store for 15+ years. The staff have always been friendly, eager to help and the glasses exactly what was ordered.Recently I sat on my glasses and the earpiece broke from the frames. I couldnt fix them so I took them in to see if Visionworks staff could. Lori looked at them and said they could not be fixed but she didnt stop there. The frames were 3 years old and they no longer had them in stock. Lori called several stores and finally found them and had them delivered to Denton. A few days later and Im wearing my favorite glasses again.In my opinion, Lori went above and beyond.Thank you Lori!!

I bought glasses which were lost in the mail. They remade them for me free of charge and I accidentally destroyed those soon after I got my new pair. I thought I would have to pay full price for a new pair but Lori help me get them remade for only 40 dollars. Im definitely thankful and will try not to break this pair.

Revisited this Vision works (Denton, 288) numerous times spoke to manager Lori to resolve a credit (Back to me) since my first inquiry 6 months ago and still no resolve. She even said she would follow-up with me for the status and never heard back to this day. Had to revisit store twice with no update. I will just take the Lost and use an out of network provider next visit for my eye care needs. Im sure all Vision works dont operate in this capacity however, I will be visiting another store. 1 Star

The store associate working with us was so patient and helpful and accommodating, both with the purchase details and customer interactions. She helped us find the eyewear that fit our needs and budgets best and I appreciated that, but what struck me was the way she really engaged with my partner, making both of us feel at ease and answering the many questions asked. The very Rude person ROSA! Is the only reason for the 1 star. My wife and I after standing while others were seated with upclose handheld mirrors, while we are standing there. So being at least 30 years older than the seated people. I asked ROSA if we could sit at a table with a mirror. She said NO!!!You can stand over there infront of that mirror on the wall and try on your new glasses.I said ... when we purchased the glasses we sat with a mirror???And that couple right there are sitting at a table???She said they werent supposed to.Its against company policy.She was very Rude! I really didnt appreciate her condescending attitude!!!I would appreciate the company explanation Please.

I am so glad I made that choice because Michael was exceptional in helping me! Ordered contacts, was told it would be 2 weeks before theyd be ready. Tomorrow is 3 weeks Ive been waiting on them. I called this morning & was told they were busy helping customers & would need to call me back. Here we are 6 hours later, no calls back. I called again. The lady who answered said they couldnt find my order. (It was under my previous last name that I havent had in YEARS. This was addressed 3 weeks ago when I ordered contacts). Why wasnt my name updated?! Why has it been 3 weeks to get my contacts!? Why didnt anyone call me back?! My order miraculously appeared because they supposedly came in today. Disappointed in this customer service.

Avoid..... Wanted to buy new glasses and get other pairs updated with new lenses. The sales girl priced everything our and said $340.00. I must have said OK too fast, she then said - oh. sorry I forgot to add in the glare protection - it will be $420. I again said OK - she then start sto key everything in and says ok your total is now showing 490.00. Then an older sales women comes over and tells the girl to go to lunch and then writes up my order all over again and now she says the total will be $620. --- for the exact same items ------ I had now wasted an hr. and I told her to keep the glasses and walked out. Went to the eyeglass store next to the Boot Barn on University and got everything and a 1yr guarantee for $383.00 out the door. Dont waste your time with this Vision Works -- They will arbitrarily just jack up their prices on you. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Every employee I’ve encountered has been very helpful — and patient!! I must have tried on 50 pairs!! If you’ve never been to Visionworks, they have an awesome selection of designer frames. The other day these glasses that I wear for work... Well one of the nose pads fell off. I was like Daaaang this is uncomfortable! This wouldnt be too big of a deal if my frame had like regular style nose pads, but it didnt. It has some kind of clasp on weirdness Ive never seen before. Anyway I went into this fine establishment and Michael helped me out .He was super courteous even though they were crazy busy. Not only did they have the nose pads Id been trying to find, but Michael also replaced them for me and everything. It was awesome! So to sum this whole experience up. Nose pads can be really weird, and Michael deserves a raise.

Awesome experience with this location on New Years Eve!!!!I called two other Visionworks locations to see what time they closed. Both said 8pm and 9pm respectively.I rushed to one of those locations and got there just as they were closing at 6pm!!!!I called the other and it was also closed at 6pm.However; this location in Denton assured me they woul stay open until 8pm and they did.And it was not just one person working! The manager and 3 other employees were there all smiling with great attitudes.One lady who started helping me had to go before I found my glasses, but was VERY INSTRUMENTAL in helping me find the right ones before she left!I forgot her name but her service and warm friendly demeanor was awesome!!!She passed me off to Faith who helped me deal the deal.Both this young lady and her manager took great care of me helping me until everything was complete!Faith helped me with an upgrade that I didnt even know I needed but am so glad I got it!I cant wait to pick them up!Kudos to this AWESOME location and ALL the staff that worked New Years Eve!You not only saved me from missing out on using my insurance, but helped to pick a great pair of specs!!!You are the best and most reliable of all your locations to me!Thanks again!!!

Yesterday I went in the Visionworks Denton location to see the inventory they had in stock. I really wasn’t planning on ordering new glasses without my family to help with the selection. Instantly I saw frames I liked and was greeted by a nice young man. He offered me a tray to put any frames in I liked and told me he would be back at his desk if I had any questions. After I had selected 10 frames, I went to inquire about my insurance benefits and promotions they were offering. George Carter then honestly critiqued each of the frames I had selected and even went back and found additional frames for me to try on. There was never any pressure to purchase and George explained all of my insurance benefits in detail. While visiting with George he told me he had served our great country for four years in the Army after high school and is now a senior at UNT. He is earning a degree in Economics. Not only do I recommend Visionworks I also highly recommend George Carter.

We found great glasses for both of our daughters pretty quickly, and the glasses we ended up buying were ready in an hour, which was awesome! But everything else about the experience was horrible. The process of actually ordering the glasses took forever (at least 10 minutes for each girl just to enter in the order into their system), and, after going through all that trouble to order the pair for my older daughter, it turned out that our insurance didnt cover for her to have the polycarbonate senses, and those frames didnt work with anything else. So, that was 10+ minutes completely wasted when we were already in a major hurry. And, because of that, my older daughter didnt end up getting any glasses at all (because we didnt have enough time for her to look for a different pair of frames, and I knew up front that I couldnt afford to pay extra for what was going to be a backup pair of glasses).Normally, of course, I wouldnt fault the store for the insurance not covering the needed lenses. But, in this case, the lady putting in the order mentioned fairly early on that those frames required polycarbonate lenses and that our insurance might not cover it for her. So, I specifically asked her (several times) if she could check the insurance real quick because I couldnt afford to lose another 10 minutes for nothing and I couldnt afford to pay any extra for the glasses. But, she said she had to go through the whole process of placing the order before she could tell me if the insurance would cover them or not. However, I know thats not true, because, when I walked into the store to begin with, the first thing I had done was walk up to the counter and give them my insurance information to find out what our insurance would cover for my younger daughter. And, they had an answer for me within about 1 minute! All this lady had to do was the same thing for my other daughter (which I would have done myself when I walked in, except I wasnt actually expecting my older daughter to get glasses at that time). So, I can only assume that the reason she insisted she had to go through the whole process first was in hopes that the fact that I had already lost 10 minutes would pressure me into paying the difference rather than start over or walk away empty handed. Which almost backfired for her! It made me mad enough that I almost walked away and cancelled my younger daughters glasses, as well! But, that would have meant I would have had to wait around for a refund, which would have meant that the entire 30 minute process was a complete waste!I should note that this is not the location I usually go to. In fact, when I went in, the second thing I asked was whether or not we could find a pair of frames at this location but pick them up at our location (because, due to extreme time constraints, I was trying to squeeze this errand in between other appointments). They assured me that they could, but also noted that they could most likely have our glasses ready there within an hour. So, since I would still be in that area, I opted to go that route. But, I will never be using this location again.

Defective product. The frames are fine but the coating on the lenses started flaking after a few months. Went in and the rep told me they were not supposed to do that and he would have a better grade coating on them. After several more months, the coating started flaking off again. When I went back to Visinoworks I was told the warranty was only good for 30 days and they could replace the lenses and give me a 25% discount. Ive been wearing glasses for over 70 years and this is the worst Ive ever had and paid more for them than ever before.

The people here were super friendly and helpful, especially Rosa and Nikki. But I got a pair of glasses with lenses here that the combination of both cost me almost 200$. The lenses cost the most since my power is -11 and they had to be special made, but in less than 6 months, the frames on my glasses broke. What does that say when in less than 6 months my new glasses break when I hardly ever wear them since I wear contacts most of the time? When I called to see if I was under warranty, and could get a new pair if they couldnt fix them, Nikki told me I was and that shed order a new pair for me right away. The next day, Saturday I went in to see if my glasses could be temporarily fixed and the lady that assisted me told me I wasnt under warranty, but theyd give me 50% off. Since they were extremely busy I didnt argue that Nikki told me I was under warranty and paid 34$ and change for the frames. Less than an hour later I get a call saying that I indeed was under warranty and that theyd refund me 14$. My advice? Go here for glasses that you wont mind getting banged up, if you wear them occasionally especially if you wear contacts mainly, if not go elsewhere where your glasses will last longer than 6 months.
