I’ve used this U-Haul facility for three moves now over 5 years, but only after meeting her this time must I absolutely leave a 5-star review. We actually came in yesterday for boxes and tape and had a wonderful time with her. Not only is she a delight but she is also extremely helpful. Her energy, her service, her atmosphere all of it literally started our move day and moving experience in a great direction. It’s hard to be motivated about all the work you’re about to do, but if you want someone to give you that extra helpful push, she is who you want to see! Thank you so much Ms. Jennifer! I truly appreciate it!

Reserved 5 weeks in advance in a location within walking distance of my new home. They gave my truck away to someone without a reservation in front of me in line. Told me that I have to get a truck on Washington. Cost me $20 in Ubers. Will use a different company next time, since a reservation obviously means nothing to them.

I rented a truck for an afternoon. The pickup was easy, the truck was clean, and the team was kind. I have a consistent issue with U-Haul where you can reserve dollies on your reservation but the locations never seem to have the dollies I reserve. I probably would not have picked up the truck without the dollies, but I had already driven the truck out through the gate to pick up the dollies at the front; I was informed since I drove the truck, they could not “undo” the transaction that they had not completed. Since they charge by mileage, I drove my own car to Home Depot to rent a dolly.

Go to a different UHaul. This location tries to scam you with their cleaning fee.

We rented reusable moving boxes here. They helped get them in and out of car. Jennifer was super friendly!

I had a great experience here. I reserved a small moving truck several weeks in advance. When I arrived, there was someone at the counter to assist me. The truck was waiting and ready to go and I was on my way pretty quickly. When I returned the truck, someone immediately came out to meet me and give me my final receipt. The entire process was made easy by the kind employees, and the charges were exactly what I expected them to be.

Ashley was amazing and friendly. My van pick up was smooth and easy to get.

Artie and Amanda are awesome! Would definitely drive back to this location just to have the EXCELLENT customer service they’ve given me! They helped make my move SO much more stress free!

I went to this location to purchase some boxes and received excellent customer service from Amanda and I believe the other girls name is Hannah?! They helped me take the boxes to my car and load them in. I was pleasantly surprised with the great customer service received at this location!

Really nice and helpful but their San Jacinto location is AMAZING

The manager there wouldnt give me info about a shifty tenant Premier parking enforcement whom towed my vehicle even though I paid for parking. If you were looking for them, here they are. The U-Haul would be the number available to call if youre trying to reach premier because the number listed for them is disconnected.

Amanda is the BEST!I have been dreading having to rent a U-Haul to move some stuff across town. After putting it off for almost a month, I finally bit the bullet and got it done today. Amanda made my pick up and drop off quick and easy, and she went above and beyond when we ran into a roadblock on using a credit I had recently received through my U-Haul account. I have nothing but good things to say, I cant recommend this location enough. I will exclusively use this location from now on.

Best European storage company I have ever used

I had an overall good experience here. Nice, employees and clean facility (could have used disinfectant wipes near the checkout machine tho) I had issues with the U-Haul app, so waited at the facility 10-15 mins longer (when no one else was in line) than I should have, waiting for the app approval which never happened. Ended up starting the whole process over. I would suggest if you are going to use the app, to see if there is a way to get your account/drivers license approved earlier while you are at home, especially if you are trying to limit contact.

Very private. Very secure. Midtown can have some crazies but I feel that within the gates my belongings and myself are going to remain as I left them.

Amanda and Artie are amazing! We came in to get our truck rental and, unfortunately, the previous truck renter didn’t arrive on time and we lost our rental. Amanda and Artie apologized right away and got on the phone to get us a truck at a different location immediately! They found one and were gracious to credit us with the $50 Rental Guarantee! My business has been officially gained! Great customer service!

Professional, friendly and helpful staff. They got me in a truck quickly and the store was well stocked with moving supplies. FYI they require a $100 deposit if you dont have a credit card or bank card, but they do take cash and prepaid cards.

If you are considering any other U-Haul out any other storage facility, you are on track to make a GIANT mistake. The staff here is exceptionally polite. Start with the manager Amanda- you will fell like you are talking to your best friend. If you have fine wine that needs some time to grow up and be presentable - their storage is unbearable. Double secured entry and ability to put 2 locks on your locker means it will be safe. Two back up systems for temperatures control means your Lafite or Screaming Eagle will be happy and nurtured. There are five sizes of lockers. I squeezed 228 bottles in my locker. The cost is $2/month/bottle which is cheaper than replacing a $1,500 bottle of 2015 Lafite. They have regular storage for when you have to much valuable stuff to hand out to your kids. I cannot say enough kind words about these people after a year of being here. Did I mention its across the street from Specs and minutes from 2 Total Wine stores. How convenient. Need boxes to put away Christmas decorations? Cheaper than Office Max or Depot for boxes. Tons of packing materials dirt cheap. Go somewhere else and pay more or come here and be satisfied.

The wine storage selection is amazing. Right next to Specs and the pricing is great, every size you could want. I was looking in the area for storage and Patrick and David got me in my spot and even were able to give me a great move in special as a new customer. The fact I could rent a van and the selection of cargo vans, almost all new model and low mileage, were great. I love U-Haul and I will visit this location again.

This was a super easy, super convenient experience. Picking up the truck was quick- they confirmed my online reservation, helped me with equipment needs, and got me on my way. After hours drop off was easy to follow the online instructions. Couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Pat and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The units are very clean and well taken care of. I was unsure of the size of unit I needed, so Pat was very helpful in showing me the different sizes so I could make my decision. I was told that if the one I chose did not work that I could change units with no problem. They do not charge a deposit which is unusual and is pretty helpful when moving between jobs. I cannot say enough about how friendly and nice him and his staff were to deal with. If and when I am back in Houston and need storage space, I will definitely go back to see Pat and his staff in Midtown.thanks again Pat for all your help and keep up the great work!

Worst experience ever!!!!The staff was unknowing and unhelpful in a moment where time was of the essence. The older gentlemen sitting at desk was not very helpful and was difficult to understand. The younger lady was also not helpful and acted as if it was not her issue vs helping him out or offering better alternatives.Worst place to get a Uhal yet!!! Cost us about an hours time for useless results

While we have had some hick-ups over the years, by and large UHAUL has been a good facility to store our antiques and were pleased with facility care and management. Clean, safe with reliable long term rates and while weve seen managements come and go, it doesnt happen often and over all were pleased. Big space/6 plus years now. Recommended

No parking!!! I had to park down the street and walk back. Grateful my car didnt get towed. Staff was not too friendly, but pickup and drop off were very easy.

Uhaul itself is a pretty standard storage and truck rental company. I cant speak to the storage at this location but I would avoid attempting to reserve a vehicle here in the future.

I rented one of the 5x5x10 storage units. Staff was pleasant, helpful with picking up some packing supplies and were quick. Only complaint is that its easy to drive past the street entrance on Louisiana if youre not paying attention.

I called and reserved the truck then showed up and checked out. Super simple, fast, and convenient. Be warned, this location has scarce parking. Take an Uber or get dropped off.

I feel like one star is too nice. Me and my husband reserved a trailer with them and when we got there they told us they didnt have any trailers so they sent us to the one down the street, they also had no idea of any reservation. They wouldnt give us a refund or a trailer, so whatever money we put into it is gone. Never using ANY uhaul ever again.

I reserved a medium sized van but I was an hour late getting there, and they had rented the van to someone else. That was totally my fault of course, and I dont hold that against them. Fortunately another van was arriving later that day, and the manager held that one for me. It was a good experience overall, and Id rent from this location again if needed.

Charged me a damage fee when I did NOT damage the truck. I wanted the guy to put the little black x stickers on the truck to mark the damage the truck had before I got it. He then decided to change the truck instead and now im being charged 525.36 for the truck i did not damage!! Force them to put 100s of black X stickers on the truck before you leave the lot.

After being 1 hour and 30 minutes in line, they said they assigned another location to pickup the truck. Don’t waste your time!

Three major issues with my transaction:First, my initial reservation was made at the location at Midtown. However, they neglected to have the truck transferred to their location. Their representative was very helpful and arranged a second reservation on the fly at their Canada Dry location, and opened the store early to assist. However, I ended up having to spend an extra $20.00 on an Uber to travel from Midtown to Canada Dry, and lost around an hour of time on laborers who had arrived at the job ready to load the truck.Second, their mobile pickup application doesnt mention anywhere that I should refill the gas tank. Upon return, Im informed theyll add a refueling fee and fuel fee totaling around $40.00. I drove approximately 20 miles and used less than 1/8th of the tank. This was a complete surprise, and is, frankly, ridiculous.Third, when I called Customer Service (a second time at this point given earlier issues) in hopes of them making things right given their numerous mistakes, Im told Ill receive a call from the Manager of their Canada Dry location within three business days. Its now been 13 business days without any call, and Im now on a long hold with Customer Service. EDIT: Spoiler: They didnt make things right. All the more reason not to use U-Haul.I wouldnt recommend that anybody use U-Haul. Try their competitors. I ended up paying $40 more on the transaction, $20 more on an Uber, and paid two laborers $30 extra for no work due to time lost. Thats essentially double the original cost.

Horrible Location!!! ASHLEY is the worst person. She makes multiple errors and is very argumentative, even when it is her fault. She cannot problem solve and will talk over you, even when youre kindly explaining that the bill seems a bit off. Very disrespectful and too ghetto for uhaul.I arrived in an Uber to pick up my reserved truck. After Ashleys errors she told me that an online booking suddenly took my truck and I will no longer be able to rent it. Now, this is due to her error, but I am told Id have to catch a Uber to a location that was 9 miles away if I wanted and available rental.I called the head manager and she fixed it. Hence, the 3 stars.

Location good and easy to get to from the medical center. Staff friendly but understaffed. Had reservation for truck on my MC debit and my bank would not clear the 150.00 dep. So had to call bank for inquiry as funds were available and had to speak with a supv. She advised there had been fraud associated with this location, I authorized the funds release and all was ok. Dont have car and they did require that I purchase insurance.

David made my reservation and was very courteous. I called back to verify some info and Patrick spoiled my U-Haul experience with a terrible attitude. He had no problem letting me know how inconvenient my call was to him.The rental process was smooth as silk, though.

I reserved a truck at this location to move. I selected this location because it was very close to where I was moving. On the day of the move, the location was changed to 10 miles away. So I had to travel 10 miles each way out of my way, and the pickup location did not have the packing tape I purchased. Uhaul does not care because they will gladly take my extra $1.08/mile. But they also advertise a $50 money back guarantee if they dont fulfill your reservation, which after I complained they told me it does not apply because they were able to accommodate me at the other location. Meanwhile I get charged the extra $20+ for added mileage and have to waste time going out of my way, sitting in traffic, etc. Apparently there was a class action lawsuit on the money back guarantee issue in 2008 but they are still screwing over their customers. I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Our office uses it to store old cases that are not ready to be destroy yet. It is close to downtown and can be accessed easily.

Horrible experience one of my employees went there. He provide the office adresse instead of My personal home and a lady if you can call her that, called me, yell, hang up on us 3 times. She started to process then stop and accused My employee of taking a picture of her. Which I wish he did. Her name allegedly is Danilyne stewart. Then she pointed racist things. At a point he left embarrase and with no truck. It’s a shame since is such a great location. If possible avoid it. I can’t believe this still happends when paying for a service.

I had a good experience with this place. My truck was ready to pick up right when I got there and it was super convenient to pick it up and drop it off.

The stuff was careless and the price was double cause at the end they LITERALLY charged me for the hours I put as estimate. After complaining, they have adjusted the price but still, it is all tricky.

Not allowed to park personal vehicle onsite anywhere while using rented truck for 4 hours, no options offered or provided. EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT and a long walk back to location to pick up truck.

Supposed to be open at 7am on Monday.......got there at 7:30am and the place was locked up....crickets....no one home.....really a poor representation of UHAUL. Had to drop off the trailer at another location close by on San Jacinto...

Slow service. Dont expect to be in and out in a timely manner. When checking my van back in the person overcharged me and completely screwed up the check in process. Took 20 mins to check a van in. I called back later in the week to dispute the charges and the managers are only there 1 day out of the week.Would not recommend this place to a friend.
