I had a valve cover gasket replaced. Drove it home and it was still leaking. Took it back to Firestone and they said they didnt do that type of repair from where its leaking from. Took it to Express Oil and had them look at it. Firestone did replace the valve cover gasket and didnt do the repair correctly. Im highly upset and will not be taking my vehicle there ever again. Purchased new tires there and I will be getting them rotated at the Firestone in Madison. I will not even get an oil change there.

The lady running the place was very nice, just got to find some workers that really want to work. Workers can do better.

Tammy and her guys were great!! We were traveling out of town and they went out of their way to fix my tire so I could get back home. They let my fiancé and two dogs sit with me in the lobby while we waited.

Came to the Old Monrovia for an appointment to purchase a new tire for my Toyota 4Runner, install it and rotate tires. The tire would have cost me $207 at Walmart, however, I chose to buy it here so that I could have the tires rotated as well - although it would cost me $150 more.It was my choice, however, even with an appointment I’ve had to wait more than two hours for the work to be done.After a call from Tammy, I decided to change/ edit my review.Next time I will ask for an approximate wait time or labor time - so I won’t be surprised when I have to wait longer than i thought I would.

I’ve recently had a very bad experience with Firestone, after going there for probably around 5 years for all of my oil changes (for about 3 years i had two cars and i took both there) and most of my service (even though most people tell me not to go there). The staff is usually very friendly and sweet. However, I always make an appointment, and my car rarely gets pulled in within 30-40 min of my arrival (for an oil change) This wasn’t a HUGE deal to me simply because I like the staff, although it’s very inconvenient because I go on my breaks from work.The last time I went, I had over $700 worth of Service done to my car, and when I left i noticed my oil looked as though it was leaking. When I took it back and told them this, I waited for my car for an hour. They test drove it and rinsed the engine and told me the oil wasn’t leaking- it was just extra that dropped from the engine. That evening my friend looked under my car and saw that oil was visibly dripping from my engine and it was COMPLETELY empty. Which means nobody actually checked to see why the oil was leaking and the staff admitted that to me. Had my friend not looked, I would’ve continued driving my car and completely ruined it. Firestone paid to have my car towed and had it for another full day and a half before they figured out that my oil filter was warped and replaced it. They gave me a free tire for my troubles and like I said, I like the staff (which is the only reason I gave two stars instead of one) but I would not recommend going there.

I had an oil pan gasket that needed to be replaced. Scheduled an appointment at 7AM over the phone, was quoted for the service and for the gasket, plus however much an oil change is. Arrived in store, handed over the keys, and read my invoice, saw a 120 dollar change that was not originally quoted over phone, but I though whatever, I dont really care if they misquote me over the phone, stuff happens. So I waited 4 hours, my car has not been touched, was getting somewhat miffed because its like a 3 hour job maybe, which is why I made an appointment at 7. At around 11:45 I just left, could not be bothered to wait any longer and called a ride. Then at 2 they called and said my service was done. So ya, 5 hour wait time to even get into the shop with an appointment, plus a quote over the phone that was not correct, but at least they got it done in 7 hours. Ill say its more like 6 hours because they only had 1 tech at 7 and I feel bad for that guy. Not happy with how long it took, I had previously had an appointment to get an alignment and it took 3 hours, so it was not completely out of left field that this would happen, which is why I asked off work. In summary, take quotes over the phone whit a grain of salt because mistakes happen, and whever you make an appointment, dont expect to be in the shop any time close to your appointment unless your lucky or Im just unlucky. Tammy is super nice though, gave me a discount on my alignment when that happened to take forever, sadly was not there my second time.

Appointment is pointless. The employees in this store only work at a decent rate if Tammy is there. If they arent being watched, they do more socializing than work. Unacceptable for an oil change...standard oil change to take almost two hours WITH an appointment. Another customer brought his car back because of something they messed on his car. Probably got chips stuck in a pipe or something. Anyway I think Ill drive a longer distance for better service!! Yikes.

Super over priced... starter went out..wanted to charge almost $500 for a $140 starter that could be replaced in 50mins tops. On top of that I think they stripped the screw so that I would have to bring it back to them. Good for diagnostic only $29. Autozone, Adavance, and OReilly all free diagnostic..you decide.

No BS, emailed receipts/work orders to confirm, good pricing, quality work. Tammy is wonderful to deal with.

The employees here have been taking care of my oil changes and minor things for about a year now. They always problem solve for their customers. Theyre very friendly and helpful and get done with your car as quickly as possible.

This place used to be very good ... but not any more ...Now is a nightmare!!! I made an appointment for 9:AM and it was 3 pm and did not receive any calls from them. I called just for them to say that my car wasn’t ready. 6!hours for an oil change appointment??? Really??

While Ive had a few service visits here that went relatively smoothly (except for once when I had a window motor replaced and it didnt work when I picked up my car...), my recent visit ended up costing me about $130 more than it should have. I asked to have my headlight looked at, as it was giving me trouble when I was replacing the bulb (something I normally do myself). They charged me only $10 to diagnose the problem (totally fine), but then made it sound like they went ahead and changed the bulb themselves without my authorization, which was going to cost me $130 or so. After speaking with the manager later, it seems that the work had actually not been performed yet, so I couldve just walked away with the $10 charge at that point. Bottom line, the customer service technician failed to effectively communicate the fact that the bulb replacement had not been done, so I ended up paying the $130 for work I thought I had already irrevocably been charged for. The manager offered me a free future oil change, but that means Im still out ~$85 for something I couldve easily done for free had they just been more clear about what had been done (or not done). Ill continue to be a Firestone customer in the future, but Ill definitely be taking my business to a different location. They dont quite have their act together here.tl;dr - technician failed to effectively communicate to me about what work had actually already been done, so I ended up paying ~$130 for something I couldve easily done myself for free.

Everyone is always so extremely friendly and helpful. They have done a great job with all of my vehicles and the prices are always good.

I love this Firestone! The lady at the front desk is the sweetest person ever! She is also VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE- if you have a question, she can answer it or shell figure it out (most of the time, she already knows). Derek is the person that we typically deal with when getting tires and he is WONDERFUL as well as the other guys. Derek is very personable and remembers us by name when we walk in. They are so kind and do their best to get you a good tire that is best for you at the best price they can! This is the ONLY tire store we will use! Always courteous, does good work, honest. While I was there, told someone that had a flat that they didnt need a new tire just a patch. The customer was prepared for a new tire, but they were honest and said it wasnt needed.

She recommended a few different types to choose from based on my needs and even offered me a discount that came with the set of tires I selected. The service was done properly and in a timely manner. Ive been coming here for a few years now after a bad experience with Toyota.Im not going to say this place is perfect, but they have always made it right e.g. one time I came in for an oil change (they also did tire rotation and alignment) waited a couple hours and then was told everything looks great but I really need an oil change. 😂😂 They fixed it on the spot and discounted. I think like a lot of places there is turn over, training challenges, and communication lapses, but the management here is incredible and very customer service focused and for that Ill keep coming back and highly recommending them. 🙂Also ask questions theyll do other oil then Pennzoil, and some services I wouldnt do here e.g. engine coolant they only use the green stuff that needs swapping at 30k. I ended up self swapping coolant because of that and put in the OEM toyota pink stuff (goes 60k). But anything tire, brakes, oil I wouldnt think twice to bring it here, they also price match competitors on tire deals. Ive definitely saved money coming here vs. Toyota and they do a great job overall.My only other advise for any car place is decipher the mechanics notes dont rely on the advisor Ive had times where important scribbles were on that car check sheet and they arent always brought up.

I chose this place because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, it didnt go so well. I went for an oil change and the car returned with grease marks on the dash, door, console, carpet, and leather seat. They said they sanitize because of coronavirus, but I doubt they did because the grease was everywhere. Later the location was temporarily closed because someone had been infected. I noticed an oil leak in my driveway and turns out the oil filter was not properly tightened, so I had that fixed at Tire Discounters, which fixed it for free. I went to another Firestone location (that was open) so they can top off the oil that had leaked. They also did not do the TPMS relearn after rotating the tires. The manager called to apologize, but thats about it.

We had a wonderful & quite knowledgeable man take care of us for our tire appointment.He was very courteous & thorough.The only issue we had was another employee had taken & used one of the tires that had been reserved for us!We werent informed of this issue. Our wait time increased, as we were forced to wait for another tire to be delivered from another Firestone location.We were treated kindly, but kept in the dark about the tire having been used for another customer.We were pleased with our tires & the person who assisted us was very courteous & apologetic to us.We will continue to be customers here.

I just want to say that your staff here is amazing! Tammy is such a breath of fresh air, and she makes you feel right at home, each time you go in. Each time I come in for service, I see her running around, trying to make everyone happy. This woman works so hard and she deserves a raise!

My daughter took her car for oil change. The appointment was at 2 pm. Left her car there and went back 2 hours later asked was the car ready. They was lost for words and I say fine the keys and they finally found the keys and said I will give you a discount on the oil change I said no thanks and left bad for business

The staff is amazing at this Firestone. Throw away your preconceptions about chain oil change and repair shops when it comes to this Firestone. Tammy and her staff are top notch and have treated us with respect every time we have used them for maintenance on our vehicles. Were always given a great price on the repairs done with a thorough explanation of the implications, positive or negative, of the repair in question. Dont hesitate to give them a call if you have time critical issues or simple questions about your car. They will certainly do a great job.

I have always for the last 25 plus years trusted all my vehicle oil changes to Firestone. Today I hustled wanted the world to know that the manager (Tammy) at this location is probably the best customer service person that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She was not my service provider today, but observing and listening to her interact with the customers is just absolutely amazing!!!! Great service, always! Tammy is a saint and the rest of the staff is great. Price is not always the lowest but service is always on point. Bought multiple sets of tires from here over the years. For my last visit I had a flat tire with an air leak from the valve stem at 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon. I felt bad about coming in so late in the day but I needed it fixed or I was going to have to put on the spare. They got it done quickly and correctly. Great folks; highly recommend.

Tammy is AMAZING! I went here after I had a flat tire. I had roughly 50 minutes before I needed to leave to pick up my daughter and they appeared to be busy; however, I only wanted a repair to the hole in my tire. The guy who checked me in assured me they could do the repair on that time (let me add, my tire went flat at work and I went as soon as I could get off and I was fully aware that they may not be able to perform any services in that short timeframe). After examining my tire (and I had been there about 20 minutes), I was informed the tire had to be replaced. Everything was fully explained and they never judged me for calling someone I trusted since I previously had a poor experience elsewhere. After I gave the go ahead, Tammy called me over and explained things further and helped me save more money in the long run. I do not think she was fully aware of my time constraints since I absolutely had to be able to get my daughter before the daycare closed; once she found out, she immediately ensured everything was done in the time I needed. She was so sweet!! She had me out of there a few minutes before I needed to be. In all, they replaced two tires with a mount and balance in just under 20 minutes. I don’t know a thing about changing tires but I’ve heard that’s pretty amazing. All in all, I felt extremely taken care of, I didn’t feel ripped off, and I didn’t feel over sold. They took care of everything I needed and would expect out of a business with great customer service. I highly recommend this Firestone location to everyone!

These people are AWESOME!!! I was in town (from Louisville, KY) for my grandsons graduation from space camp and my cars oil light came on. PANIC!!! I called these folks first thing in the morning and they said no problem, come over. They got me in and out in no time and I made my grandsons graduation!! Huge shout out to Keith, my technician. He was friendly, knowledgeable and absolutely outstanding!! Thank you to Firestone and Keith!! YOU ROCK!!!

They were super busy and we had a flat tire. My friends husband came to work to help me finish changing the tire so I would be able to make it home. We were driving on the spare that was already low on air. Even with them being super busy, they were so kind and so helpful to fit us in so that I didnt have to drive my 2-year-old around in a scary situation. They were quick, very polite, and did as they promised. If only customer service could be like this everywhere else...

Visiting family here,we arefrom St. Louis. Went in to see if they could plug a tire wr noticed with a slow leak. The team asked if I could leave it, I told them I am from out of town visiting. The Manager and she got me in within 30 minutes. The informed me the tire could not be repaired and I had two new tires put on.. I had to wait for the new tires to be brought over from a near by store. I was in and out within a very reasonable time. Thank you for the quick work!

I gave this place zero out of five stars, would not recommend at all to anybody. I took my car in to get the power steering pump replaced, and when I took it home, I was still having the same issues that I had previously, only it was worse. Now there’s a huge hole in the bottom of my car that they “fixed“. I am very disappointed and very unhappy. I spent $300 to get something “fixed” that was not fixed at all, and as a college student that is a lot of money that has been wasted, and now I have to spend more money to get this problem fixed. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

I can honestly say that my appointment with them has been the most enjoyable service I have received from any business Ive ever been. If zero stars were an option that is what I would choose. Called at 9 in the morning made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 4 in the afternoon. Got there at 3:30. Watched the technician play on his phone, eat some chips go across the shop and hang out and talk to his buddies, just stand around. It was after 6 o clock before they finished my vehicle. And then walk out to it for there to be oily hand prints all over it. This is sad.

This is my go to place when I need repairs or maintenance done on my car. Tammy and Melvin are excellent! I always have a great experience with them. I usually drop my car off for the day when I need work done, but theyve also fit me in for a quick oil change when needed.

BOOK APPOINTMENT. I went in for an oil change. Normally I would ask for a time estimate from a full-service shop, but they didnt look too busy and there was no one in the waiting room, so I didnt ask (my fault). I realized almost an hour in that my car was still in the parking lot, so I asked and was told that they were about to start on it. At an hour and a half, they moved it into the shop, and after two hours it was finally done. I do expect that if you think the wait might be more than 30 min for a 10 min service, you should say something. Its okay, I can come back, or go for a run, or bring a book. But to string me along for 2 hours on a 10 minute service is just rude.

Great staff. Everyone working there connected well with each other and the customers. Technicians where very fast and detailed. The shop and store is clean and organized. With the amount of business, I was surprised on how many vechicals where going in and out. My car was in the garage within 15-30 mins. I was there a while but it was the right amount of time for the job. In my mind they even helped with discounts even if it was truly not needed. Even all the class that came in where handled effectively. I think no one was on hold for more then a minute, could be even less. They never seemed overwhelmed and took the day with ease. I choose this Firestone now.

I’ve done business with this shop for many years, with personal and commercial accounts. They have proven to be competent and honest. Derek always treats us right.

Car died and was towed here. Got there at 7am next day and a sweet young lady named Tammy welcomed me and had me processed within a few minutes. When the work was done she even was able/available to pick me up to take me to the shop. 5 stars!

This Firestone has a great staff. Super friendly and insightful. I expected to be waiting for a while but they finished changing my oil within a short period of time. They also informed me about the condition of my vehicle and gave me helpful advice. This is the only Firestone in the area where I have left completely satisfied.

My appointment got cancel because they couldn’t manage things. So disappointed. Derek was the one who called and kept saying other word other word and nothing is resolved as it should be. Bad customer service ever.

I had the GREATEST experience with the staff and service at this location. Ms. Tammy was such a warm, friendly, and wonderful person to be greeted by & my mechanic Chris was honest and fast in his work. Upon arrival to Firestone, they have the premier customer service there to ensure that you receive the best care for your vehicle. I remember arriving and they offered me the lifetime alignment and I was a little hesitant however it was the best investment I could have done for both my vehicles. Every time I get an oil change they check the alignment and rotate the tires and most likely they make adjustments to ensure the alignment is perfect. I have not had to replace tires like I did in the past due to the recommended lifetime warranty on the alignment and getting my tires rotated every 3500 miles.I drop my vehicle off to get an oil change recently and it was a possibility that it may have to stay overnight to squeeze me in. The oil change was completed and I received a call close to close of business and stating our vehicle was ready for pick up. Since I arrive to Huntsville, AL this is one of the premier Firestone I had experience with in the past. Yes, they have surpassed AAFES (DOD) Firestone on post standards of taking care of customers.Thanks to the staff, I would recommend them to anyone new arriving in town of Huntsville, AL to know your vehicle/ SUV is in good hands.

Have been going there for years and always have great service.

Didnt have the tires that were on sale in stock. The ones in stock were almost double the price of the sale and nobody seemed interested in truly making a sale if it wasnt the higher dollar items. Truly disappointing since I have been an extremely loyal customer for many years but since it changed management I have not felt that their priority is the same friendly service that it used to be.

Awesome service and great prices. The staff are extremely friendly and happy to help. I bought a used vehicle that had some Firestone tires on them and wanted to stay with them. I searched all over and I found the best deal directly from Firestone. Tires, mount, balance, road hazard and an alignment, cheaper than any tire shop from Attalla to Holly Pond and Huntsville to Birmingham. Defenitly getting all my tires in the future here, at this location.

Tire literally came off my car 100ft from the shop. The experience with their claims service has also been just as pathetic. I’ve never dealt with a more incompetent company. I have only been here 30 minutes and I have f.. and motherfer at least 15 times very loud obnoxious and trash mouths. The counter help was very friendly and professional but the techs are like a bunch of immature unprofessional trash mouths. I would almost bet these are some of the same people that trashed Trump about vulgar language. I wouldnt recommend bringing young children.

I called this Firestone in Huntsville, AL and was pleased to know that Darek knew my name and knew that I had just been in the Firestone in brookfield Wisconsin. He was awesome! We were visiting from Wisconsin and he was such a pleasure to work with, getting us the best value, talking us through the advantages and disadvantages.
