My father and I walked in with about 100 questions we had for purchasing a shotgun. The gentlemen was very friendly and knowledgeable. Gave me his opinion without pressuring me which was fantastic! We left afterwards to go to a different gun shop down the road only to have terrible service. Needless to say we were back in bear arms the next morning making our purchase! Will definitely be buying more from Bear Arms!

Customer service is great. The people there are always nice to me, and willing to offer opinions or advice when asked. They also dont try to push me toward Glock when I already know what I want, which is quite refreshing.Inventory is small which is to be expected from a small shop. Lately with all the panic buying and everything being so hard to find selection is a lot narrower, but the store website lists all the guns they have in stock in the store so you can check before you go.Prices, while not the lowest, are competitive. Theres another shop less than 3 miles away with higher prices on literally everything. If Bear Arms stocks it or can order it, Id rather buy from them. If they dont have it in stock they can probably order it (again, current panic buying has changed that a bit). When I did order a gun in, it only took a couple days to arrive.Overall this is a great place to go.

Extremely nice people Been in the community for decades I believe they were located across the street many many years ago I remember going in with my old man, supporting a small business that has been in the community for this long is way more important than saving a few bucks at a shity big box store.

To all you one star complainers on here....a gun shop is NOT a coffee shop. Youre not going to find a friendly beta male smiling at you while spraying his whipped cream. Lol😁Gun shop employees are a notoriously surly and obnoxious bunch of people .so if youre expecting them to understand your feelings and hand you crayon and coloring book, youre probably not in the right place

Been there several times over the years, never have very good inventory, never had very good service. Seems like the owner would rather respond to google reviews then help customers. Really only good if you want some basic gun accessories and cleaning equipment. If you want to buy a gun, go somewhere else.

Lady in store was kind of mean when I was asking questions. Continued to watch me like a hawk while I was looking around and not watching me like if I needed help she would be there, but watching like I was going to steal something. Did not have much in stick either.

Im taking the time to post this review because I just went through another local shop for a transfer. Bear Arms customer service and professionalism really stands out compared with my experiences at several other local dealers. Its too bad that Bear doesnt do transfers. Ill be glad to keep doing business with them over their competitors whenever possible.

Family owned small business..(Mom,Pop,son and Duke the friendly dog)They run a nice little shop,offer cash discounts and are knowledgeable. Staff does not wear masks nor do they require that anyone also wear one.Update: the owner claims that they wear masks but when I went in there the lady at the front desk was not wearing a mask I asked her why and she said something to the effect of her civil liberties being violated. I left not to return.

Great place, plan on returning. I purchased my first and second handguns here. They were very helpful. Answered my rookie questions and even gave me info I didnt know I needed that helped a lot in making my decision. My order was ready in a few days and they promptly let me know when it was ready for pickup.

I came in the store with a general idea of which pistols I was interested in and got advice to go to a range and try them before deciding. I liked not being steered or pressured to make a purchase right away. I took the advice and purchased my my first pistol and recently another from Bear Arms. Great store.

I have made several purchases from this store and was pleased with the products, service, and especially the website. They keep their website up to date on inventory as things enter and leave their store, which is awesome compared to other local gun shops. I received friendly, prompt service and the folks that helped me had some great advice. My only complaint is their hours, but they are understandable considering the size of the operation.

Bear Arms is very different than other arms dealers around. If you are looking for someone to make up your mind for you, it wont happen. They deal in facts and not driver by profit. I had 3 fire arm choices in mind when I went there. Without any personal feelings or guidance from the gentleman behind the counter we ran thru all the specs of my 3 choices. After looking at all facts I made my choice, and I feel I made the right one. The fire arm was also cheaper than the others, but I wasnt pushed to a more expensive choice. I was told that the price doesnt matter as much as my choice did. The application for the sale was very fast to complete and waiting time to pick up the fire arm was quick.

Just bought a colt AR15. Personally walking into a new shop always kinda makes me nervous. But when I walked into bear arms I immediately felt welcome by the staff even duke the ole pup in there cane out from the counter to greet my girl friend and I. The gentleman who helped me was a great delight to talk to, and very knowledgeable . I will definitely be coming back in for all my fire arm needs. Words don’t do justice for how great this shop is. They had the pistol I wanted but I had some questions about it. Theres two versions. The big guy gave a short answer not wanting to explain. I dont have experience with semi auto handguns so I had to leave and study it out on the internet. Then I decided to give someone more friendly my business. I dont think they enjoy people who arent experienced.

I visited the store on December 31, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. I was treated as I had been before approximately a year ago, unprofessionally, rude and condescending in the individuals interaction with me. The owner was on the computer and never made eye contact with me. He also stated that unless I had a concealed weapons permit, he could not show me any firearms. I could not find this policy posted in the store. I have also researched this policy and did not find it as a WA state law requirement.On my 2 separate visits to the store, I was not treated with respect nor provided with customer service. I felt discriminated against as an African American male. I will not visit this store again and suggest that others regardless of skin color would consider taking their business elsewhere!!J.
