A few months ago I began searching for a gun dealer to evaluate a number of old family firearms I had decided to sell. After doing some research, I decided to work with Chris at McCallen Defense. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to inspect/value each gun, show me any condition issues affecting market value & note which ones would be most suitable to keep in the family for home defense, hunting and/or recreational target practice. I found the information I was given to be accurate and reasonable, and am confident I made the right choice working with Chris. He is a very professional, ethical, and patient (!!) individual and it was a pleasure to work with him!

Better pricing for new handgun purchase and also trade-in offer compared to a few other spots I went to. Service was helpful and the process for every part of the process was super quick.Shooting range on site is always a plus too.

Great gun shop/gunsmith and awesome staff. Store is connected to Champion arms firing range which is very convenient. Monica and Chris were super helpful, friendly, and informative during my whole buying process. These guys know theyre talking about, and not once did I ever feel rushed or pressured in to buying anything. Offered excellent and real advice about many questions I had. Chris helped me with my custom build/gunsmithing and the results turned out absolutely perfect. Exactly what I wanted. I recommend these guys to anyone new or seasoned in firearms. Will definitely be going here time and time again.

Chris and Monica really go out of their way to assist their customers! Great service, exceptionally knowledgeable staff, and a fantastic array of firearms and accessories. Probably the best all around assortment of firearms and firearms related merchandise between Seattle/Bellevue and Tacoma; close to IKEA.
