Was helpful in selecting new antenna System
Nice place, very handy when you need an adapter or some coax in a hurry. Also a decent selection of VHF/UHF antennas, hamsticks, and CB stuff. Good customer service.
Its a nice Shop full of all kinds of appliances for amateur radio especially antennas, the guy inside is very knowledgeable about radios and very helpful as well. They also sell some brand radios such as Yaesu are sold here. its a nice little store to get some appliances for your ham radio overall Id say.
Do not ever order anything from this place, I ordered an antenna, they took my money and never sent the antenna, would not answer the phone, no refund and no response to emails. Typical NJ trash.
I bought a Yaesu FT3D from this shop a few months ago.I talked to a gentleman on the phone who said he would hold it for me due to the fact that i was already on the way their. The guy on the phone was very nice and pleasant.Upon arrival i was greeted and we had a small chat.I am writing this review because I just remembered about this store while thinking of buying a SDS200.Family owned store. Non corporate. Friendly employees.
I gave this place e 1 star because there is no MINUS 5. Placed my order for LTE antenna filter...paid for it on line thru them. Sent me something that DOESNT even work. Went to return it and it was immediately returned to me .....OUT OF BUSINESS!!Dont order anything from them....you will be ripped off.

I was looking to upgrade from a Radio Shack scanner to a Yaesu transceiver for monitoring railroad radio for my railfanning hobby.I called Advanced Specialties Electronics after browsing their website and told the owner what I was looking for.....He replied that he had a particular Yaesu transceiver in stock that is popular with trainbuffs......a Yaesu FT270R.....so I drove down and visited the showroom. The owner answered my questions regarding the transceiver and showed me some accessories including upgraded antennas and fast chargers and I purchased some of those along with the radio.I was in and out in 15 minutes or so.......and pleased with the service I received......There are not too many businesses out there geared specifically to scanners and amateur radio equipment.....I did an online search for Yaesu dealers and found only 5 or 6 dealers within a 250 mile radius of where I live with only two of these within 40-50 miles......Advanced Specialties also does business online through its website and ships orders for those unable to visit the showroom. The owner mentioned that he has been in business at that location for over 20 years.....I spoke with other trainbuffs after my purchase and they recommend him as well as they have purchased radios and equipment from Advanced Specialties as well.
Had just what I needed.
Because the selections where great
