I think one of the vehicles are advertising is clearly fraudulent. It involves a price to good to be true, a death in the family at an out-of-state owner. If I am wrong I will be happy to buy the Brooklyn Bridge for whatever they want

WARNING- The Tonkin Family Of Dealerships is either an on-line scam, or is allowing criminals to facilitate scams through their site. On Facebook Marketplace, I have responded to 8 different postings, each advertising a used car for sale in the Portland area at what seems to be a crazy-low price. Responding to these ads gets you a response advising that the car is out of state, and the seller is requesting payment be made via eBay Motors. This is a KNOWN SCAM. So why is Tonkin-- who Id assumed to be a reputable organization-- participating in it?

SCAM ALERT!They completely spam Facebook marketplace advertising vehicles worth 10-15k for 500-2000 dollars. It’s an obvious scam, and I inquired about one out of pure curiosity and they want you to buy it through a third party because the car is out of state. I don’t get how Facebook has allowed them to stay on their platform.The trick is to block their page so that you no longer see their scams.

Tonkin family sales are known scammers taking advantage of by another real business by using a version of their name! The real business is in Tualatin, OR Tonkin Honda Hyundai.

I contacted them about a motorhome, the price was low.. then then instructed me to contact another person. Well the other person sent me information. However, she wanted me to buy ebay gift cards and send the pin. I now wished I never knew these people. Now Im worried about the fact I gave my information to them. I did not buy and load ebay gift cards. Buyer beware.

This company deliberately lies about the pricing of their vehicles on Facebook marketplace to solicite inquires.All of their pricing on Facebook Marketplace is false. They’re hoping customers contact them to start their sales cycle.I haven’t bought a vehicle from them, but their sales practices are unethical and illegal.I can’t imagine what happens when you end up purchasing a vehicle. I would highly recommend avoiding this company at all costs.

This dealership tries to scam people out of their money by selling RV’s and vehicles through eBay. They should be thrown in prison for so brazenly taking advantage of people.

Looks like it might have just popped up in the last month or so. But obviously an out of state scam. They want to take your payment from eBay. Everyone else here seems to be from Facebook market place also
