After being a patient for many years, I will be switching eye doctors after 2 consecutive bad experiences. I gave Eyecare Plus a pass last year on account of pandemic procedures even after the Dr kept me waiting more than 30 minutes in small, windowless exam room. This time, I called ahead to make sure the Dr was running on time. The receptionist told me to come in at the appt time. I arrived on time, but still spent 1.5 hours in the office for a basic check up, mostly sitting alone in the exam room. It’s clear they overbook and make up time by forcing patients to wait 10-15 minutes between every step of the process. But the final straw was that nobody was masked except for me and the receptionist. I had to ask the Dr to put on her mask before getting 2 inches from my face.

DETAILS MATTERThe doctors and most of staff members were kind, the doctor was specially attentive & knowledgeable. Dr. Muriel was astounding. However I came out not very happy due the ecsesive out of pocket cost & a phone call I received from one of the staff members today Friday in the afternoon. I dont remember her name but she sounded unhappy, frustrated (rolling her eyes) almost confrontational when she was either listening or answering to my questions personally., & was the same person who called me this afternoon. I thought the call was to ask me how I was doing or perhaps something about my order. No, she actually went on to tell me they had forgotten to charge me a fee, because I told the Dr I needed to order more of 1 reading contact. (No change in the strength)Staff member couldnt wait for my next visit to charge me and ask me to pay? I have to pick up a pair of ordered glasses very soon. I paid close to $300 w/insurance. I was not very happy with the phone call, and what I found most outrageous is that I had bought glasses from Eye Care Plus in the past and I wanted to use the same frames with the new prescription, (I like them & they are in excellent shape) Eye Care Plus actually charged me $25 for using the frames I had bought originally from them. I thought that was beyond my understanding. It is not the amount, its the fact. Is this place trying to find a way to charge a customer for every little thing that they can find, & not even considering Im using the same items I bought from the place? not good business. Like I told the lady who called me if it had not been because there is a connection between my surgeon & Dr Muriel I would change locations in a heartbeat. Happily I was able to afford paying all charges, but maybe not everyone could do that.

I called Peace Eye care to schedule an eye appointment for a contact prescription that was up and I couldnt get in for a week and a half. I called Eyecare Plus Green Hills and they picked up the phone and were able to have me seen the NEXT DAY. Not only did they see me in great timing that worked around my work schedule, they also were super great and had me in and out of there with no dilly-dallying. The women led me from station to station as we knocked out one eye test after another. By the time the Dr. came in, he had already looked at my examinations and shortly after told me my review. Super friendly and super flexible.

I walked in with my glasses missing a screw. I walked in close to closing. (Because I work late myself) and the doctor actually stopped while on his way out and fixed my glasses at no charge. I will be coming back! Very friendly!

Dr. Morreale is an amazing optometrist!!I had seen a handful of eye doctors - ophthalmologists no less - that could not resolve my dry eye problem but made it worse. Dr. Morreale had a plan before I even walked through the door (after I had explained the issue to company support staff when scheduling the initial appointment) . At the first appointment she spent a good hour consulting with me explaining how she was going to resolve it. Over the course of a few months she did as promised. Always very supportive and encouraging. I have claustrophobia so was a little uneasy at times but she was so sweet in working around that for LipiFlow, IPL and other treatmentsI am so grateful I found her as shes truly amazing

My daughter (5 yo) needed glasses. The staff was very professional and fun. They explained everything in detail. I do wish they had a more expansive selection of glasses, but I’m still happy with the choices. The manager (Karlie) was amazing with my daughter and very patient with explaining every process and price. Dr. Iverson was also amazing. This experience was so great that I’m going to come back for my glasses.

Dr. Morreale is super sweet and professional. She’s knowledgeable and very friendly. I’m currently undergoing IPL for dry eyes and have had a great experience and know that in a few more weeks I won’t have to worry about this for quite a while. Highly recommended!

Dr. Henderson is Amazing! The entire experience from check-in through exam to check-out was great. There was no waiting at my appointment time, and check-in was very simple. Dr. Henderson and staff were very attentive and friendly. She did great job helping understand how my contacts had been working and making adjustments to my prescription and brand of lens I was using based on my feedback. I will definitely be back next year for my annual visit!

What a great team! Eye exam and glasses shopping were different durning the pandemic, and the entire team made us feel welcome and cared for. No one acted like new safety precautions were a hassle. Your team was friendly and professional in every possible way. My son’s glasses broke and we were able to get an appointment quickly and glasses were ready and the front end of the promised time frame. We’ll be back!

Got a same day appointment and the exam was very thorough. The optometrist was clear and explained his findings really well. The optician (Christy) was so sweet and helped me find glasses that fit my face. Overall a really good experience

I am extremely unhappy with the services here. I was fit for a different brand of contacts, claiming that they didnt have the brand I preferred. Then, they refused to let me order the contacts I preferred without a second visit despite it being a brand I have used for years. Ended up having to purchase a much more expensive brand to avoid paying for another visit. Would not recommend.

I’ve been wearing glasses and contacts for over 20 years and this was by far, the best exam I’ve ever had! Dr. Morreale was prompt and very thorough, explaining everything that she was doing. She took 3D images of my eyes and reviewed my results with me right away. I highly recommend making an appointment!

Went here for the first time today and had a really pleasant visit. I didnt wait for long to get seen and everyone I encountered was friendly. The office is nicely decorated and I felt very comfortable there - a lot of eye doctors can be hit or miss, but I recommend this Eyecare Plus location! The whole process was painless and honestly, as enjoyable as the eye doctor can be.

These people are fabulous! I had a complicated appointment due to finally understanding and getting answers to problems with my vision. They never got frustrated with having to try things multiple times, additional contact trials, extra prisms... etc. All the staff were friendly, happy, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. If you have astigmatism and want contacts, and/or slight double vision (like I finally realized I have today) these are your people.

Dr. Reese is the absolute best in Nashville. Her practice in Green Hills offers a variety of eyeglasses, including designer wear from Chloe, Ray-Ban and other premium brands. She is smart, funny and has a great knowledge of optometry. Her staff is friendly and professional. They accepted our vision insurance plan.

Excellent experience! Jake went over pricing and suggestions over the phone and asked me to come in to be measured for eye glasses. Eyecare Plus in Green Hills has offered wonderful services to our whole family. They were great ordering glasses for my young son and they helped me pick out the correct contact lenses. The staff is very friendly, the location is convenient and its easy to schedule appointments. Working full time, I really appreciate their Saturday office hours. Cant comment on the Green Hills location but Eyecare Plus has 7 locations in TN owned by Dr. Kevin D. Schmidt so policies and experience should be the same and I have read similar reviews as mine below about Eyecare Plus. Wish I had taken the time to research them before I took my daughter there.Be very careful or better yet avoid them - you may ask for a basic exam for your daughter which should run at most $65 and then later get a bill for over $250! It happened to us. Told them several times We want the basic eye exam that the insurance will cover We have friends with Eyemed and the co-pay for a basic exam is $10. After a while my daughter came out from the back room and said Mom, they want to do this and that... I said only what the insurance will cover and that is what she also told them. Now we have a bill for over $261 of services!!! Called and complained. Basically, it sucks to be me, they told my daughter We will submit it to the insurance company, got her to initial their form and then racked it up. We could tell by their response that this was not the first time they have done this and wont be the last.Deceptive, manipulative, un-caring, and out to get what they can. Dr. Kyle Edward Kragenbrink, OD was the dr. We are taking the time to file an official complaint with the TN Dept.

Im not sure why there are negative reviews of this location, I have been a patient of theirs for over a year now, and my husband just started going as well. The staff and doctors are very friendly, knowledgeable, and have convenient hours! They made sure we got the best price on everything with our insurance and helped us save even more money than we were anticipating. We will definitely continue going there in the future for all of our eye care needs!

I dont understand the negative reviews. I personally have always had great experiences. I also love that they offer optomap (photo of the inside of the eyes) instead of dilation. The charge for this service is minimal and I dont have to walk around blurry all day and it saved me at least 20 minutes of sitting in the office. They also have great deals on my yearly supply of contact lens like rebates. And the staff is always friendly. My whole family goes here. We wouldnt go anywhere else.

The service was amazing! I was in an out (including the time I spent trying on at least 15 pair of glasses) in an hour. They had a big selection of modern glasses to fit anyone’s personality. Dr Biehler was extremely professional yet friendly in fact the entire staff was welcoming and made me feel at ease throughout my visit.

Eye Doctors are great, but the customer service and eye glass quality is horrible. Have purchased 3 pair of glasses from this location, all have issues. Great eye exams...horrible customer service, finding another Eye Doctor, will not be going back.

Went to this place to get contacts and glasses. After the eye exam I put in the contacts and they were very uncomfortable. The letters werent clear at all. I expressed my concerns to the optometrist and he checked my eyes a second time. He said the prescription was correct even when I told him something was wrong. He said well try a different brand of contacts and that itll take some time to adjust. I wore them one day and never wore them again. Fast forward to a week later I went to pick my frames up. I put them on and immediately became extremely nauseous. I couldnt even read the sign across the road. The letters were blurry. I told the staff once again that the rx isnt correct. They offered another exam. This time by a woman optometrist. She was very nice and understanding. She gave me another eye exam and determined that the previous rx was incorrect in both eyes. They offered another box of trial contacts I declined. I still dont have any glasses and today I received a bill saying I owe another 90 dollars on top of the 202.96 that I paid almost 3 weeks ago. I wouldnt recommend this place what so ever and next time I need more glasses Ill go back to Sams Club. I paid less at Sams out of pocket vs going here with vision insurance!! Very dissatisfied last time customer here. She said I wouldnt get charged for the third eye exam but you but you never know with this place.

This place is truly awful. There is always a long wait even when one schedules an appointment and they consistently mess up orders. My husband and I have only gone a few times over the past two years, but they have somehow misplaced our contact orders FOUR times. I was once charged for contacts, told they would arrive in the store in a couple weeks, never received a phone call, went into the store in person after four weeks, and then was told oops, they seem to have never been ordered. I then asked if the contacts could be shipped to my house, they said yes; and then later forgot to do so and called me two weeks later telling me to come into the store. My husband has had a similar experience, having to go into the store multiple times to try to retrieve contacts. If you are looking around, I advise you strongly to go elsewhere.

Do not get the anti-reflective coating. It does not last and clouds the lens which impairs your vision. They verified this, but did not stand by their product - meaning they did nothing to address it.

Etecare Plus in Greenhills they were very nice and professional. Just had an issue with recieving my child glasses fast due to his first pair had a scratch on them and they send them back but did not inform me until I called to. check the status of when my child glasses would be ready.

Incredibly awful middle (non-doctor) staff. Very unprofessional and unable to answer straightforward questions around tests.I would not go there again and not recommend family or friends to go. There are significantly better options available in Nashville elsewhere.

I would not recommend using this business. I used their services about 3 or 4 times and I had problems every time. The first time I went there I got charged $60 for a contact fitting. Essentially, they charge you $60 to try a new prescription contact after they change your prescription strength to see if the the change in prescription is right. Thats unnecessary. The prescription should be right because they just checked your eyes with the big machine they press to your face!The second time, I called to order contacts. When I went to pick up my contacts, they had ordered the wrong kind, even though the correct brand was listed on my chart.The third time was another regular visit, but this time I specifically told them I didnt want the contact fitting. I also told them I needed my pupillary distance checked so I could order some glasses online. They said my pupils should be dilated, so I asked how long it would take before I would be able to drive, and they said about 20 minutes. After the optometrist gave me the pupil dilating drops, she checked my pupillary distance. I didnt think much of, but my pupils had already started dilating and my distance was wrong. That lead to me having to reorder my glasses because the distance was wrong. Also, I spent 2 hours sitting in their parking lot because my pupils were still dilated and I was unable to drive.

I brought in frames that they carried in their store, but still charged me $25 since I didnt purchase them from their company. I have eyemed insurance and just needed lenses. My copay according to the store and the printout she first showed me is $40. I paid $65 and she said 45 min to get them done. I left, came back and she said she was frazzled and busy and didnt see that I had to pay another $40 copay for polycarbonate lenses. Im upset because of the incompetence and poor customer service. I also could have been told that I didnt need to have polycarbonate, that it was an option which is the reason for the extra $40 copay. I made it very clear I didnt want anti-glare and all these extra features that I had contact lenses and was only going to wear them while at work. I also feel if eyecare plus carries the same brand of frames that I brought in, than why the $25 fee for not being bought at their store. What should have been a $40 copay turned into $105 because of no consultation=poor customer service. I would not recommend the store or even the company.
