Woman was really rude and would not help me at all. She kept telling me that I would need permission to get a gaming card. Was over all worst GameStop I have ever been to. Do not go there. There was a man that walked in that wanted to buy a Xbox, and she said in a very rude tone that she would not be able to get him one. All we wanted was just a gta card. Literally how hard is it to be nice and kind or caring to the person that is going to give you money.

Staff was mediocre. Kept trying to upsell and talked to other guests while I was buying my game. Store is clean enough.

Its kind of a mixed bag here. You never really know what you will get with a Gamestop. Sometimes its good, sometimes its awful. The staff changes all the time too, so its hard to review it objectively. From my recent experiences, it hasnt been too spectacular, but it hasnt been the worst. For instance, Ive taken several times games to the counter that are not in stock in the store. Also, they dont always honor the price that is in sticker. However, I can say that the staff has been good in recent memory. They are friendly and try to make good conversation. They do have a good selection of current gen games at all times, but their PS3/Xbox 360/Wii/Wii U/3DS selection is virtually non-existent, but I guess that is kind of expected as time goes by. I do like their rewards program, I have saved some good money during pro sales and from credit Ive gotten from buying in the store. A suggestion: dont always trust what the inventory says online for your local Gamestop store, because it might be different from what they actually have in store.

Its ok, but if your looking for deals or even in physical copies of games Orem has a very nice selection of retro/preowned game stores.

Who does this. Been waiting 30 minutes. Next time ill choose a different store I can count on.

Worst customer service, worst gamestop location, they wont honor a pro discount even though it said it was active till the 29th of June, and all the employee could say is oh well, wont be coming back to this location.

Gamestop started selling more accessories in-store, highly appreciated! You can now find in store pc/higher end accessories (keyboards, headsets, mic, etc.).The gentleman that helped us out today was very friendly, Had darker hair and black glasses. He helped us find what we were looking for and continued to talk with us about other information. Will be returning.

Literally the only time I have seen a store enforce a mask policy was at the GameStop. Awesome job!

The staff are friendly and they have reasonable prices for their merchandise (at least the Funko Pops. I haven’t taken a close look at the rest of the stuff).

Decent selection of new and used games and peripherals. If your buying for someone who prefers digital copies they have gift cards for the most common online stores.

Employee was rude, flat out said she didn’t know how to do her job and asked us to come back later in the day.

Easy purchasing experience. It was easy to find what I was looking for and great customer service. The person who helped me gave me the information I needed and options for membership and protection plan, but was not pushy. Very friendly and respectful.

The store is fine, staff is friendly usually, but I generally only go to GameStop if I have to, the reason being its hard to find good value unless you pay for their membership, which is not too bad, but since I dont buy a lot of games here, isnt worth it for me. My kids love being able to play on the consoles, which are gone for now, but beyond a console trade in which is hard to get good value on, not much here for me.

Janine was very professional and went out of her way to find something to help me out. 10/10 would recommend you speak to her anytime you go here!

If you were planning on using one of GameStops new pay in 4 transactions, try another location. This location has not had training on any of the options.

This store inside the mall is relatively small. If you cant find what you are looking for, be sure to ask them as they may still have stock in their backroom. Due to this stores small size, it feels a bit cramped, but it seems to run fairly free by itself. Its a less active store for sure so you may still not find what you are looking for.Experience with the employees was exemplary. They knew what they were talking about and they were quick to offer solutions.

Typical GameStop that is a bit too crowded and a bit disorganized. However, I was impressed the level of care and interest that the team members exhibited for several of the customers. I overhead them discussing what to expect in a game, asking about the games the players had been playing to understand what would be good to recommend, etc.

Friendly staff. They arent pushy but arewilling to help find anything youre looking for. The store was reorganized from the last time I was there but it was still easy to find what I was after.

Literally any other store that sells games is better. I would rather go to Target or Amazon than buy stuff from this dedicated game store. It is not appropriate to buy games for less than a dollar just to sell them for more than 30.

I just want to give a big shootout to the employees of GameStop. I was in the store today, outnumbered by my children, when my 5 year old accidentally knocked over and broke a mug. He was devastated, embarrassed, cried, hid behind me, and all out ceased to function. Then, one of the employees calmly came over and handled the situation perfectly. He began to tell my son a story from when he was a kid and made a mess in a store and how his dad taught him that we all make messes but it is how we clean it up or make it right that matters. He then told my son that he could make this right by trying to be careful every time he goes into a store from now on. My son stopped crying, came out from behind me, shook his hand, and came out learning a wonderful lesson. Thank you for being kind and understanding.

I never shop there and dont have a use for the store as I do not use gaming systems and never have a need for the store. However, for those that do use gaming systems and shop there Im sure everything is great. It seems to be a great store as they have many games and gaming system equipment!

They word their deals online so that they sound like a better deal than it really is. Ended up paying more than expected because they wont budge on their deceitful wording and actually have some proper customer service. I guess thats what you get though for going to the glorified pawn shop of video games.

Great location for buying used games! Cheaper than eBay and other online services. They dont give you much for your games though so dont walk in hoping to trade straight across. Good quick service, not too busy most of the time.

Always such a fun place to go to pick out a new game I would say some of there items are a bit over priced and there trade in deals are almost highway robbery but they finally got the game I was looking for on a wii so I cant complain paying a little extra for finding something Ive been looking for quite a while

I just dont like that it is in the mall because of having to walk inside the mall to get to it with crowded parking such... Plus my kids saw the Build A Bear shop on our way there ugh. My boys and I had a great experience at this GameStop location. At a different GameStop an employee recommended a game to my son which he bought with his birthday money. He went home and the game was not at all like what he thought was explained to him at the store. We tried to return it but that location refused to give us full return credit for it even though it was their employee that recommended the game and my son trusted his opinion. So, we went to this Orem location and they returned the game for us for full credit, then my son purchased two great games with the money he now loves, and the Orem employee took time to explain to us how to redeem points and other things for how to get more discounted games. The customer service and our experience at the Orem location was awesome! We will go here from now on.

Staff was friendly enough, but I sometimes wish these places actually carried a good selection of PC games. Guess those days are nearly over. Prices seem a bit high on the games I did look at.

Over priced and the staff never you leave you alone. GAME STOP is one of the only games in town when it comes to finding ps3 games, so that sucks.

This was my first and last time buying anything from Gamestop. I can count how many reviews that I have left on one maybe two hands. I ordered three games on Cyber Monday. I received a confirmation email that my order was being processed and if there were any issues a Gamestop rep would reach out. The next day, Dec 2nd I received a follow up email stating that my order had been cancelled with no explanation. At the bottom of the email there were options to call a customer service phone number or to reply to the email and a Gamestop Rep would get back to me. I chose the latter only to receive a message stating that Gamestop does not use/monitor that email and I would have to call customer service.On Dec 3rd I received a marketing email stating that the games I had ordered were back in stock. However, I would have to pay full price for all three games. At this point, it clearly feels like I was duped with a bait and switch. I then called customer service (minimum wait time 30 minutes) after 40 minutes a rep takes my call and informs me that there was a discrepancy with my billing address. I reviewed the address with him, oddly he didnt know why it cancelled because the address is just fine. I asked as to why a Gamestop rep hadnt contacted me earlier with the issue just like the Confirmation email said would happen. He couldnt answer that because he doesnt know how the email system works. I kindly asked if he would fulfill my order at the Cyber Monday price to which he replied No, customer service can not do that. I then asked, Connect me with the person that can. To which he replied There is nobody that can approve the Discounts.I should have gone with my instincts and just purchased from Target where I know that if this issue had come up, it would have been handled immediately.I hope this helps potential first time customers to make the right decision before becoming a Gamestop Customer.

Store manager sees numbers not customers. Has no clue on how to run a business. The ladies that work there have good customer service. But you can tell poor leadership is holding them back.

Bryant and Ashley surprisingly crushed it! Super dope employees at a normally terrible customer experience franchise. These two completely turned my opinion around about GameStop. When GameStop comes to mind, sweaty pretentious neck beard comes to mind. After this interaction, the view has completely changed!

As good as GameStop gets, the clerks were a little chatty with friends in the store but the reps were fast to return a duplicate gift.

Walked in and it smelled like a boys bedroom that has dirty clothes lying all over the place. Someone that works here should go to Bath and Body Works next door and buy some air fresheners.Also, the containers of game merch is very unorganized and trashy. I feel like Im shopping at a garage sale when Im at this store

Went twice today, asked about the game ride 2. (I had forgotten the name at the time) and asked the guy if he knew what I was talking about. He didnt even know what a bullet bike was and said he thought they were the same as dirt bikes. Also at checkout I got charged for the warranty on 2 games even though I declined, and he most definitely heard it. Second time I actually got the ride 2 game (brand new) and told me they didnt have the case for it and that it was stolen. Will now and forever just make the drive to prove or american fork.

My kids love to come here to play the demo games and it gives me come to browse the new releases without being disturbed.

It has good selection but for me a 3ds user they had a corner with a lot of used games they didnt keep any of the newer games in stock

I had made a trip here to return an online order that I no longer needed. It was fairly quick, was easy, and the staff was friendly. The employee even gave me cash back because he didnt know how to refund PayPal, so that was nice. The one thing I dont like is that they always try to upsell everything, even on a phone call. Overall, not a bad experience.

Great costomer service

This is a great Gamestop. It had more collectables and video game memorabilia than I have seen at any other store. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lines went pretty fast. The only issue is that store was quite crowded with all the collectables, and it makes it so everyone has to squeeze by each other and/or cut through the checkout line just to move through the store.

I was with a friend at your store, he goes to buy a game that has a 20$ sticker on it. He goes to the register and your manager says its $53 and rips the sticker off.Honor the damn price, you messed up and made yourselves look like bigger jerks for taking the sticker off. Looks like Im gonna be buying my games from Amazon, cause you guys screwed up and instead of making it right, you made yourselves look like bigger asshats.

Great and happy people work there. The selection is pretty good, but what sets this place apart from others is the store manager. She is always proud of her store and makes sure patrons are taken care of. Above all the gamestops in utah...I always go here to buy.

I tried to get a Nintendo Switch console on line, but it was unavailable. When I checked the Orem store they had it in Stock with Zelda. The game my son really wanted was Splatoon2, but that was also in stock so I headed out to the store with a screenshot of the deal. After waiting in line, the employee said they didnt sell bundles, but I pointed out that this was specifically his store. He looked for a special promotion, but couldnt find one. He said he would take care of it for me and he made it work out so that I could get the console and both games at the prices shown on the internet. My boys have shopped here in the past. I will encourage them to keep shopping here. Thanks for working with me on this purchase.

Theres a guy working here who seems willing to straight-up feed you lies to get you to spend extra money. I was browsing and overheard him talking to someone about preordering a game. The customer said he had already preordered it on Amazon and the employee said that Amazon actually takes money away from the developers because they give out discounts for preorders. My understanding of his logic was that since the game is sold at a discounted price, the devs get less money for each game sold.This is not even remotely how promos work, but Im not sure the customer knew that because he sounded concerned to hear the lie. I wanted to speak up and tell him that he was being spoon-fed a load of crock but I didnt want to make a scene, as I am a frequent customer at this location and would rather avoid any awkward interactions. After hearing this interaction however, I doubt Ill be coming back. I hope the other guy never comes back either.I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because at least MY transaction was drama-free, outside of being shoveled the usual preorder/warranty nonsense. If you like buying new games at discounted prices, shop at Amazon. If you like buying used games, shop at Ebay or even KSL, I dont care. If you hate video games or just have some kind of fetish that involves you being exploited or lied to for someone elses personal gain, go ahead and shop at this Gamestop.

Its a game stop I got my game and system but they didnt seem to have enough stock. I wanted the new pokemon game didnt have the poke ball or the pokemon bundle. Its been since this game came out so I just thought might be more stock I guess its out of their controller cause suppliers. It is small feels a little cramped because its in a mall.

I am never going into this store again. The staff is rude and everything is overpriced. They are terribly misinformed about the next gen consoles, and they ask for an ID every time I go there to make a purchase, and I am over 30. Id rather just purchase via Amazon. Its cheaper there anyway.

This place is atrocious. I have never had the displeasure of visiting a store with such apathetic, careless employees. I live only a few blocks away, so I have tried to shop at this location more than a few times; I naively thought that I could receive my product more quickly and that it could be more convenient than buying online. This is definitely not the case. I have tried several times to purchase new releases at this location, however, every time I tried I have been told that this isnt possible because I didnt have the forethought to pre-order the product prior to release.Having learned my lesson during the first three visits, I recently attempted to actually pre-order a product so that I could assure that it would be in stock. No such luck, as they are sold out. What? Are you serious? How can you generate profit if you dont actually sell merchandise? I would desperately like to know because I cant seem to buy anything no matter how hard I try. What a joke. My advice: stick with Amazon.

The young lady behind the counter wasnt interested in what I wanted even though I told her I wanted a used controller they gave me me new after I explained it 3 times. I have up and just bought the new one.

Go to the GameStop in the Provo Mall. They run their business much better there. The policies at this one are jacked up and the employees could care less.

Bought 2 new games from here. 1 of them, i watched them open it, look at the game, then put the plastic cover over the case. The other, the disk was rattling loose in the case and is scratched. They also only offered me 30$ for my xbox 360 with several games when they would sell it for 100$ and they bought a ps4 from someone for 175$ and sold it for 300$. Kind of a ripoff.
