They are more about making money than providing good service.Edit: I bought a phone, walked away, and immediately regretted my decision and requested a return.... The owner replied we dont offer refunds. This was literally a few minutes later. I happen to know that the owner doesnt pay processing charges on a void transaction done the same day, so i feel my original comment about the business is valid.

Re-Cell is a phenomenal place to buy used phones. The staff is very competent and friendly. The repairs are quick and they have a great selection of phones. Worth your time and money.

Ordered a new iPhone camera from them and had to call personally to check if the camera had arrived after a week (They said they would call). After installation, the camera worked okay but there was a visible black spot on the camera, about which the employee said it was something with the lens, or that it was dirt that had already been there (Which is not true since I have pictures with the previous camera without any spots). I dont know how dirt would get into the camera/lens, but that was his excuse. The table they do their service on is filthy, and their rag is as dirty as a mechanics car cleaning rag (no kidding). This might explain how dirt got into the camera/lens.Because of this service I dont know if the camera they reordered is going to be new, or if theyll trick me to believe there is nothing they can do (as they tried today).I intend to update this review if they solve the problem.UPDATE: they ordered a new camera and the problem was gone.

Would give less than a star, after working with the owner to get a phone fixed that the parts I already paid for last week were supposed to already be in. Wont give a partial refund or anything. Completely rude. I would recommend going anywhere else regardless of the few dollar upcharge you may have.

Called in about a cell screen replacement. They said I would have to come pre-pay so they could order a screen and it would be a 2-3 day turn around. I told the guy on the phone that I was around the corner, but I would come right in. When I got to the kiosk there was nobody there and after waiting for about 5 minutes someone finally strolled up.I took the phone in on a Wednesday and they said it would be $20 more than the price they quoted on the phone, but that it should be ready by Friday or Saturday at the latest and that they would call me when it is done.After getting no call I dropped in on the following Tuesday to see if it was done. The guy gave me attitude saying if it was done they would have called, and they are still waiting on the screen. I asked him to give me a new ETA, so he looked up the tracking info on the screen and it was delivered the previous Friday, they just hadnt installed it yet. He then said the guy who does the repairs isnt in until late afternoon, so he would have him fix it and call me when its done.Its now Thursday and I havent received a call so I called to get an update. It still hasnt been worked on and again I was told the guy who does them wont be in until late this afternoon, but was once again assured it would be done today.Overall a pretty terrible experience. 0 Fs given for disappointing me at every opportunity. Avoid.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! Went in to get the cracked but fully functional working screen fixed. Took almost a week longer than told to get the screen ordered. Then he tried to fix the cracked screen ended up breaking the phone so he tried taping it and now glitches out when charging. Do not ever have them do anything to your phone. No help was received when phone was broken by the empolyee. We did not get our money back nor did he offer to fix what wasnt but now is broken because of the empolyee.

If I could do 1/4 of a star, thats what I would put. I needed a new LCD screen for my iPhone. I gave them my phone til they were able to fix it. They told me it would be done a week from then. Two weeks went by (as I tried to be patient), and I decided to pay a surprise visit. Their mall kiosk had moved!!! I talked to ATT which was in front of where their kiosk used to be p, and a man told me they bed to the other mall- so I was over here thinking that they are scam artists and that they stole my phone, when they actually just moved 15 min away, but didnt bother to call. So I call them and 1. Tell them I was worried they had stolen my phone, and 2. Asked them if my phone was done. They told me that they had not touched it because of the move. WAIT. They had ONLY moved the night before. So that is no excuse.Fast forward two days, I pick up my phone and have it reactivated at Verizon. As the Verizin guy turns on my phone, he notices a fingerprint size grey area on my screen that stays grey no matter what you click on. Cool. So the person who fixed my phone didnt bother turning the phone on to see if the screen was fully functional and aesthetically pleasing.So I immediately go back to them, and they tell me they will have another part ordered. (That was the reason for me giving them a fraction of a star. I do appreciate that they took the time to re-fix my phone.) I wait another week, and I dont receive a call. I go in, and they told me they called me once, and I didnt answer, so they decided they would just wait for me to come in on my own. Hmmmmm...... Not very good customer service. If I were them in that situation, I would have called atleast 3 different times to make sure my customer knew her new screen came in, and then if she didnt answer, I would text or email her. So they fixed my phone the next day.Dont go to them unless you want your time wasted, or unless you want to help them retain customers.

Had them replace screen on sons cell phone. A month later he dropped the phone on carpet and the screen popped out tearing the connector, thus the screen is ruined. The problem is the glue used was junk. Recell is unwilling to fix without me having to buy another screen.
