Where to begin... First off...I hate furniture shopping, but this had to be my best buying experience ever! Beautiful furniture, friendly and helpful staff, no pressure approach. I cant say enough complimentary things about my salesman James, manager David and the company as a whole. If you are looking for all around quality at great prices... this is the place!
We had purchased a couch from Modani and were happy with that so we decided to purchase outdoor furniture (dining table and chairs, loungers). Its shocking they advertise these as outdoor. They are not porous so the rain pools on top of them and stains them with water marks, dirt from the air, pollen. They obviously dont put a decent protective coating on them. These are pictures of the chairs only bought this summer after being out in the rain. We contacted them to ask about cleaning them and got a text message in return saying they cover the chairs for seven days only.

Me and my wife when to purchase a couch at Paramus NJ show room, we met David Kornhouser while we made a purchase he was great however he promised some one will Contact us regarding COI for delivery however no one ever called or contact us, delivery come with out sending coi and building returned them back, I find this very unprofessional and poor service after we spend 4K I would never recommend this Company, if you do purchase just make sure you stay in top of them, what they do there is all about seal not about client services, I personally would never step foot on this show room..

He is so caring of his customers and provided A+++ service. I was looking for a new couch for our new place and ended up buying furniture for the entire place. Richard was extremely supportive throughout the process and made the purchase extremely easy and straightforward. My move in for the new place was a month out and he aligned the delivery perfectly so everything arrived on time. Customer service is everything to me and Richard provided beyond phenomenal service. I will definitely be back and refer all my family and friends. I have been to Cb2, Crate Barrel, Rove concepts and West Elm and by far Modani had the best furntiure, pricing and customer service. I couldnt be happier with my experience at Modani and with my furniture. I recently moved from Bergen County to Monmouth County, I refurnished 3 rooms with Modani (living room, dining room and bedroom), and even an hour away, they handled my entire project excellently. Ricardo was great and helped me track down the dining room table I wanted all the way to Texas. Since I was remodeling the house, they were kind enough to hold my delivery until the day I finally needed it and everything went off without incident.I couldnt be happier with how everything turned out.In the spring, I need backyard and patio furniture and I know the first stop I am making.Thanks for all your help Ricardo and Modani team!
We had a great experience shopping at the Paramus store. We loved one of their couches but were concerned by some of the online reviews of their service. I spoke to Richard the store manager and he reassured me that he would see to our order personally. We ordered the couch and got a delivery date. Richard followed up frequently to keep us updated on the shipment. When it arrived at the warehouse, he called us and scheduled the delivery. The day of the delivery, he followed up to make sure everything was as expected. Amazing service and we love the couch - all at a great price. I highly recommend the Paramus Modani store.
They came, set up exactly where I wanted it and cleaned up after themselves.
Was at modani previous week and liked a dining room set, I returned back with my girlfriend following week to purchase table, the mask law was no longer in effect and they didnt want us in their store unless we wore our masks. We were in other furniture stores in Paramus earlier that day where some customers had masks and some didnt. Obviously thats your right to where them and thats fine but you lossed my business. Went to Lazzoni and purchased my dining room table and chairs.
Confused, where to begin with, we have unresolved issues from 3/21/2020 and nobody seems interested in this, customer service useless and rude, store manager David in Paramus can’t help, sales person Richard can’t help, district manager Laury can’t help, so who is supposed to be helping for a client that bought furniture for more than 30 k in one time and dealing for a year to get replacement for damaged item?They’re very involved and nice when they selling, but they don’t care after if you have any issues.There’s better stores around with nice customer service, and specially if you wanna spend a lot of money!
I have never gone out of my way to write such feedback but must share.The Worst customer service is an understatement...The Paramus store’s entire team is very helpful and polite, I would not say otherwise. However, the second you buy you are on you own!Their customer service is simply inexistent.. They are unresponsive, irresponsible and useless. Huge disappointment.If you make a purchase and are unhappy with it, dont bother calling the store; their sales team/manager/district manager will Not be able to provide any help as they have no say on the subject.. its the imaginary customer service who makes the decisions.

Richard truly embodies what customer service means. Super professional, resourceful, and educational dealing with him. They literally just delivered and assembled my couch 15 minutes and I absolutely love it! Will be purchasing a few more items within another week!
Richard was amazing! He got our table ordered, let us know what kind of wallpaper options they had, and another staff member helped us with scents. At first I was as little nervous no one said anything for awhile after we walked in but Richard eventually introduced himself and we inquired about the table. Also kinda relieved we didnt have to be followed all over the store and had freedom to look at the items. He let us know delivery options and had it set for next week. He also helped us with sooooo much wisdom on how to paint a house -haha! It was like getting homework to try at home- which your pointers did work Rick and thank you! We came back again to buy the chrome glasses. Incredibly grateful to have met him. He did not have to dedicate so much time to us but he truly did. Thanks Richard!!!! Oh and the delivery guy was a sweetheart. He called my husband twice to make sure someone was home to receive the items. We have a long walk up and he gladly brought it into my home even though I met him on the steps because it was heavy. I wish I got his name. He made sure I was fine with where it was placed. Nothing was broken. And now we have a beautiful chrome coffee table in the man cave :-D
I Purchased three sofas from this company. One of the three sofas has a opening in the seams. I emailed them and sent them pictures and for the last three weeks they continuously email me that they’re trying to call me but my phone is not working.Very disappointing since my phone is also my business and provides my livelihood.My phone is working perfectly fine, I wish they would stop with the nonsense emails and provide me with a number where I can reach them.

Their furniture design has good value; however, their customer service is worst ever. They only have 2 customer service representatives to handle all national store issues. Their system is very inefficient. I only had 2 simple issues that I still didnt get any respond from their Corporate office over 5 days!! One broken bed frame that needs replacement which were delivered without verifying the item and the other issue was that it brought wrong item box which was left side box instead of right side box. It was simple enough to replace and fix the issue within few days. However, its been over 5 days that I didnt get any respond from customer service department. The sales rep was efficient enough to respond to my requests, but the store had limited ability to request for wrong item delivery and broken item.This company grew too fast to handle any customer service issues and they are worst handling any after purchase issues!!Dear President of the company, YOU SHOULD FIX THIS FAST !!!
Very bad service I add extra insurance for my furniture, the company that modani use for the insurance not give any service,They come to my house 3 weeks ago and the technician come look for less the 5 minutes and say the company will call you back, I am calling them non stop and the transfer me to different ext .I pay so much money for the service but nothing!!!don’t purchase insurance that modani !!
I usually do not write any review but this Modani Furniture where I spend over $6000 very unprofessional and rude. They delivered a damaged item. When I asked for an exchange, they said it was discounted so we dont do any return or exchanged. It was discounted because I bought many things. One of the items was delivered damaged and looks used.... Very disappointing and I do not recommend this place to anyone. I wish I could give then ZERO!

I would not visit this store again. Placed an order to have furniture delivered however, the efficiency in which Modani takes your money is not indicative of their ability to deliver a product. Another skill in which they have become very proficient is the “blame the warehouse” game. At first it was the wrong product, then after the “district manager” manager assured me the delivery will go as planned my items arrived broken. Yesterday I was told they “might” have been damaged enroute, today I am being told they weren’t inspected. To make matters worse they insult me by offering a discount. I don’t ask for a discount when I ordered my product I don’t care for you discount. As a customer all I want is the product that I paid for and delivered when I was told it would be. Why is that so hard. Why does Modani give tittles of district manager to individuals then not empower them to sold problems when they arise? Perhaps a major overhaul is in order as soon as enough customers voice their opinions and the bottom line is affected.Ps. Received a reply on the website from the owner which I am impressed however it lacks the ability to show he/she wants to address the issue. I was asked for my contact info however I would say I am the only person in the US with my first name last name combination I am sure it would not be difficult to track me down. If you are unsuccessful reach out to David your district manager as he is the one that handled my account. Or if you would like send me your number and I can call you since you do not have access to your customers phone numbers or email, perhaps it is a systemic issue starting at the leadership. Then again if the owner can comment on my review but is unable to track down a customers contact info, how should a customer expect that your delivery department would get something right

My fiancee and I walked into this place a few months ago. We liked the layout of the store and some of the furniture really caught our eyes. We ended up speaking with one of the sales representatives that was there, Richard. The three of us got to talking and right off the bat we could tell how knowledgeable and friendly he was. We didnt buy anything that day, but we said we would be back.We ended up coming back about a month or so later and the moment we walked in, Rich remembered us by name. Right there we knew we wanted to give him our business and he helped us pick out some very nice items. Furniture shopping can obviously be a stressful ordeal, but we were in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Richard and Modani Furniture.
