Cadence in Manayunk replaced a spoke on my child’s bike wheel really quick after I dropped it off for our appointment. Communication was great, and everything was good with the service. We even enjoyed a coffee and hot cocoa at their cafe in house which made the experience more fun for us.
Just purchased my new bike at this great store.Matt was super helpful and knowledgeable.
I purchased a Turbo Creo ebike in September and also ordered remote buttons for the motor control to be placed near the brake hoods. I was a little concerned about placement and appearance. There were installed on the front part of the bars just below the hoods and the bar tape was wrapped over the buttons so there is a barely perceptible bulge. Works well and almost invisible.
Great shop. Great people. One of the few remaining independent shops that still offers a wide selection of manufacturers/brands. I’ve purchased any number of bikes at Cadence and had them serviced there for years. Always a top notch, professional experience!
The crew at Cadence rocks. I regularly take my bikes there for routine service and major repairs. Most recently I needed to have my rear suspension and my fork serviced. A lot of bike shops would send to the manufacturer to have serviced which could take weeks. Cadence was able to do the repairs in-house and had my bike ready in days after dropping off. Ryan, Quinn, Matt and the rest of the mechanics never disappoint. Highly recommend this shop!
I didnt need anything special: just a a tune-up for two hybrid bikes. But I found the people and service pleasant and helpful. And, it is so convenient to park at their location in a mini-strip mall.
Perfect bike shop for me. Very available and Zach is a great front man. Glad I recently switched and have told others.
Was having a brake issue & was feeling lazy about changing out tubes for my OD triathlon 3 days later. Dropped my bike off on Thursday before closing & had the bike ready for pick up Friday night. Everything was perfectly fixed.
Cadence always does a great job with their service. Been going there for 12+ years. Very satisfied with all of our friends at Cadence!!!
Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. Did a tune up on my bike and was charged lower than what was originally quoted. This was my first time there, and would definitely go back!
They are always helpful and knowledgeable. They know what they are doing and they turn around service on your bike very quickly. They also are concerned that they get it right the first time and listen to your issues and work hard to resolve them
Stopped in the other day as a first time shopper. I don’t know much about the biking culture and was met by pertinacious staff members that made me feel really unwelcome. It’s the closest shop to my house by far but I would much rather deal with main line cycles where the staff is not only knowledgeable but teaches you everything you need to know as a beginner in the biking culture. I definitely won’t be back here
I stopped because my bike was acting up, they fixed it in 15 minutes. I wanted to buy bicycle shorts while I was there but had no cash or credit card.I was pleasantly surprised that they let me make the purchase and then pay online when I got home
Bike mechanics are friendly and highly skilled, competitive prices and nice place to dream of your next bike!
Friendly bike shop that will address you by name and will do the service right 👍! Staff is knowledgeable and hands on will do anything thats needed to help.
Professional bike shop full of professionals. Don’t know where that creaking is coming from on your nice bike ? They’ll take care of you. Bonk out on a ride ? They have food ! Highly skilled bike lovers who do an awesome job.
I love this Bike Shop. Its definitely not like typical bike shops that are not a joy to go to. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and helpful. They are definitely worth it to have as your Local Bike Shop!
Great customer service, job well done and on time. The team is very helpful, knowledgeable and professional.
Thanks, Cadence, the bike feels super smooth! Thanks for the great service and quick turnaround!
It is always nice to be able to get bike service without leaving it for a week which is a plus.
Although it took a minute to get the right wheel, they run a great shop and hire good people.
Had a complete overhaul of my Canandale Evo. Feels like a new bike.
I had not purchased a new bike in nearly ten years and knew it was time and knew where to go. While doing a lot of research prior I ended up at Cadence to purchase a Tarmac that has already proven to be worth every penny spent. The free annual tuneup is a great addition as you know that with your purchase there is also long standing support. They have great options and have really worked their butts off through these tough times and increased demand. This is a shop focused on quality first and foremost with knowledgeable staff.
I have had several great experiences with Cadence over the last 18 months since moving nearby and becoming a customer. As a former climbing shop employee, I know working in niche sports can be challenging, but this crew sets the bar high! ... They helped me tune up my decade old mountain bike and recently got me set up on my dream bike. In addition, they helped my girlfriend update her road bike. Throughout the process they were exceptionally friendly and provided individualized recommendations and test rides. The communication was excellent from everyone over the phone and via email. Truly top notch.
Wow! I pulled up around 5:30 p.m with a flat and a worker was just learning, saw me and turned his car around...unlocked the ship and Fixed my bike!!!Unbelievably Cool People who work at #Cadence Cycle Shop! Hip hip hooray!!!I ride my bike again today!!!
Master Yoda level mechanics. Something just isn’t right, they will dial it in.
Friendly, excellent service.
I brought road bike to Cadence for packing up and shipping my bike. Great service and prompt.
Awesome service!
Did a great job with tuneup
Great efficient, and affordable service!
Cadence is a top notch bike shop in the Philly area! They even have women on their staff which is great for asking those lady specific questions. Everyone is welcoming, friendly, and just easy to talk to. I messed up my headset while trying to put my road bike back together. Mark not only fixed it for me, he took the time to teach me how to put it back together for the next time I travel with my bike.
Cadence are professional and they know bikes!
During this challenging social distancing time the staff at Cadence were very accommodating and had my Zipp wheel back to new in a matter of minutes. Very knowledgeable staff and technicians. I can always count on things being fixed right the first time. Also plenty of parking at the new location. Thank you!
What can I say about Cadence, except good things! I purchased my Specialized bike shoes from them, and everything that is written about them, explaining their performance is on the mark. I had a small problem with one of my shoes, and they will notify me when the part comes in.
Really a pleasure dealing with Quinn and the Cadence crew. Always dialed in!
Chad and his team are phenomenal. They are why the LBS stays relevant. I have gotten bikes, service and merch from them and never disappointed. They just built my newest Pinarello and its sweet!
I have used these guys for almost all of the services they offer: repairs, sales, classes, coaching, and coffee and have not been disappointed. Recently I had a extremely positive experience where Mark contacted SRAM directly and worked with them to solve a unique problem with some of the components I was having on my bike. This was by no means necessary, but just an example of Cadence will go the extra mile for their customers. Ill trust my bike to anyone that is on the staff here - their passion for the sport really shows in their work!
Awesome place! Got a hand me down and wasn’t sure if I needed anything done to it. Didn’t try to sell me on anything I didn’t need. They looked at it for free and all I needed was full tires! :)
I couldn’t have had a better experience at Cadence. I’m new the cycling and was helped by Kiyoshi who went above and beyond what I could have expected. He helped explain (in detail) everything about my bike and he put my mind at ease about all concerns that I expressed. Furthermore, his positive attitude and friendly demeanor was the icing on the cake. I couldn’t recommend this place or this person any more for any bike needs.
I have purchased several bicycles from the shop over the last few years and can not say enough about the staff. They are knowledgeable about all aspects of cycling and have steered me in the right direction on both the bicycles and the numerous upgrades I have purchased, sometimes recommending a lower priced option because it was a better fit for my needs. The service department is top notch with skilled mechanics who are always willing to spend the extra time listening and diagnosing my issues. Cant recommend Cadence enough.
Great purchase experience with the folks at Cadence. They arranged for me to ride a bike I was interested in, even though it wasn’t part of their official demo fleet. I ordered the bike a week later and it was in and assembled ahead of schedule. The final fitting session was great and they got my position on the bike dialed in really well. Everyone I dealt with through the whole process was really nice and very helpful.
Gr8 service and selection!!!
I feel compelled to write this after one of the employees told me during checkout I just love seeing more people riding bikes. Cadence makes all riders feel welcome, from the curious walk-in to the veteran bike rider. The combination of service, coaching and product offerings in one brand has saved me time and money I wouldve lost, while also helping me discover more in the bike world. The team theyve built is passionate about cycling, with each of them either competing or staying active in the cycling community. They know their equipment, inventory and how to ride but most importantly they aim to know their customers and seem to enjoy helping them achieve their goals.
Recently I got a fit from Brady and Rachel. I have had lingering pain for years on and off of the bike due to getting hit by a car in 2001. In a sense I have been pedaling with 1.5 legs for the past 15 years (since the impact of the accident fully manifested itself). I have been fitted by numerous people who are quite skilled but WOW, the folks at Cadence really know their stuff. Most of my pain is gone; I feel stronger and more balanced than I can ever remember; and my power has gone up. They really spent a lot of time not only making sure they got everything dialed in but also talking me through the whys of every change. I am truly grateful and could not more enthusiastically recommend Cadence for bike fits and everything else.
I needed a repair of a broken shifter cable. They did it right away and for a very fair price. I highly recommend them.
Great service, arrived on bike with broken spoke. Fit me in and had me back on the road in 30 minutes. Mechanics are thorough and professional.
This was the worse service i experienced in a bike shop .. they tried several times not to service me. Because of the age of my bike . They laughed at me when i asked them to fix it . Then i paid for a deposit to get biked fixed and they lied and said they didn’t have the part and took weeks to reach back out to me just to tell me they can’t fix it . I just felt like their customers service was horrible .. i would never recommend this bike shop to anyone .. they are all about the money ..if you don’t have a high quality bike they will laugh in your face ..
Great shop, great people. Dave, one of the owners, is super helpful and great to work with. All the shop staff are super helpful and happy to help with get you the right parts and accessories for your ride. Im excited for the new location and looking forward to needing to go in again.
Late March 2020 - I took my bike to Cadence for the first time for a full drivetrain and cable replacement - chain, all gearing, all cables, handlebar wrap, and a full once-over adjustment and check. I was quoted $260 with tax by the gentleman over the phone. When I went to pick it up, I was told to pay $310. According to the person I talked to, Cadence didnt follow their own process of pricing - I was not sent a written quote and because I wasnt sent a written quote I now had to pay $50 more. According to Cadence, it was my fault for not confirming a written quote. They cannot find my email confirming the written quote. I had no idea that was Cadences process.April 2020 - I took my newly repaired bike out for several rides, and after ~five rides, the front shifter broke. I am aware that a broken shifter is a separate issue entirely and not the fault of Cadence nor myself. I told Cadence about the previous price issues, and I was informed that they would be comping the price of install for the new shifter. During the check, they found that I had a broken spoke as well and they wouldnt be comping the price of install for the spoke. I was charged $100 for replacing the shifter and fixing a broken spoke. The shifter was replaced with a different type of shifter without consulting me. The spoke was never replaced. I insisted on a written quote.**EDIT** JUNE 2020After speaking with several other professionals in the industry, and my friends, I am willing to admit that I am wrong in this situation. I was mistaken in my knowledge of several subjects, and applied incorrect thinking in regards to the cost of work performed by Cadence. Lastly I severely discounted the availability of spare parts in the bike industry during the time of closed borders and parts shops, and was surprised to find out just how much the industry is hurting. I was also wrong about the spoke; it was repaired by Cadence (the only silver one on the bike now!) and the only thing I can think is that somehow another spoke broke on the way home? I cant really explain it other than that.I have nothing to complain about other than sheer bad luck at the timing of repairs, and my inability to do all of this when I planned to at the end of last season. I have left this review up for posterity, as a monument to karens everywhere. Hopefully you, too, can realize the error of your ways.I sincerely apologize.
Finding a trustworthy bicycle mechanic is just as hard as finding an honest car mechanic. I took my bike there for some suspension issues and instead of selling me something I didnt need they were able to diagnose and fix the problems that day. The knowledge and skill they have is top notch, would go again.
My first experience with Cadence was when I walked in off the street bout 7 years ago to get my road bike tuned up before I road it to Canada. I’ve had only excellent experiences then and ever since. I won’t take my bikes anywhere else. They’re a knowledgeable reliable, customer service focused shop that provides quality work. 👍👍up
Went in there ready to drop a lot of hard earned money and they barely seemed interested in helping me. Like I was just interrupting their hang time or something. I had to push the conversation along - it seemed like they were bothered by every simple question I asked them. Going to a bike shop thats an hour away to get my bike ordered because that staff was super friendly and helpful. Not gonna waste my time on this place again.
A great bike store with a good selection of both road and trail bikes. Great gear and selection. Service center is very experienced and have reasonable prices and turn around.
Staff are so knowledgeable, friendly and attentive to detail. As a novice, I felt like I was introduced to my bike and its features at a pace that was helpful and not overwhelming. Love the open door policy regarding questions, adjustments and anything else I might need.
Cadence is absolutely some of the best bike stores in Philadelphia. The moment I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted by the staff. They were very knowledgable about their bikes, and professional in explaining what compromises were made between different price points. While they didnt have a prebuilt bike in my size, they were able to have it ready in the same day and the staff was even gracious enough to move the bike I rode to Manayunk to their sister store in City Center.Overall I couldnt be happier with my trip to this store, even while waiting the staff were pleasant conversationalists. Give this store a go, you might even make some friends while your there!
Did a great job maintaining my Santa Cruz Hightower, runs like new!
Great service. I visited sereral bike shops before making a purchase and bought my new road bike from Cadence because I was most impressed with the quality of service and professional expertise. Their location on the Schuylkill bike trail is a tremendous asset.
The owners of this place are just so dang chill and helpful. They were employees who bought it from the old owner about 5 years ago. And you can totally tell that they just love what they do. Everyone I talked to was awesome. I just want to hang there all day, maybe grab some awesome BBQ from across the street and learn about bike stuff. I cant recommend this place enough.
A week or two ago I dropped in to see a used mountain bike after speaking with a sales associate about it on the phone. To my surprise, the bike was dirty, with no chain or pedals and the front chain ring desperately needed to be replaced. This was disappointing given that I had come in expecting to test ride and likely purchase the bike. I shrugged it off and left my contact information with three of the team members and I waited for a call.I called in today to ask after the bike and I was told it had been sold out from under me. Im rather disappointed with the repeated examples of poor customer service and I will not trust Cadence Cycling with my business in the future.
What a great store! My wife and I went in not too sure about what we wanted (we havent ridden bikes in years). Brady and the Team at Cadence Cycling went above and beyond to help educate us and make us comfortable in making a decision. They have a great selection of bikes, and can order in most anything you would like as well. Cant say enough good things about this place. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area, at any level of cycling experience, that is looking for a bike or equipment.
I recently ordered a road frameset from Cadence. They were able to track one down in my size even though Giant had seemingly sold out. The staff at Cadence is extremely knowledgable and friendly - you can tell theyre passionate about what they do.The Manayunk location is super convenient for renting bikes to ride the Schuykill River Trail and Kelly Drive, or Wissahickon Park and Forbidden Drive if you prefer to get off road. Or if you just want to stop in along your ride to say hi (and get out of the sun for a few), you will always feel welcome here!
The staff of Cadence has always been incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful to me. Ive special ordered specific items, paid for bike fittings, and had some minor service done here. Every time, these guys have nailed it! I will continue to visit Cadence, even if I dont really need anything. The owners are great people, and the full-time staff are a bunch of awesome people, too!
+ friendly staff+ knowledgeable mechanics and owners+ willing to patiently explain and talk about what options are available (bike purchases, components, accessories, etc)+ never felt rushed like the folks are ‘pushing a sale’+ top of the line bike-fitting+ great location for demoing or renting an off-road bike (given their proximity to the Wissahickon trails)+ great communication (in person, over text, phone, etc)I have visited over 25 different cycling shops around the tri state area ... there are several great local shops around, and some are not so great - Cadence is one of the great ones!Cadence remains one of the three shops I choose to consistently return for service, to make a purchase, or ask a cycling question (where I go just depend on where in the Philly area I happen to be at the time!). And when there has been an issue - which can happen with any business, they make it right. The three owners are all top notch athletes (bike/run), and one or two are always around to help you out. Meanwhile, their mechanics are all very well trained, with no ‘bike snobbery’ about them.Lastly, I also appreciate that for a long time would lend their space and know-how to support the Philly bike coalition youth team.
Ive had great experiences with Cadence, both purchasing and maintaining my bike. The mechanics are great and they always have the items I need in stock.
We have been looking for a while for a place like this. They were very pleasant on the and answered all our questions. They were great about at fixing my hubbys bike last minute, now hes a happy man! We will be back soon.
Super fix! Adjusted Campy derailleur quickly and accurately. Diagnosed and fixed hanger angle which I think many mechs would have missed. I had a very smooth ride after the repair. Very professional!
Ive been looking for a MTB for a while and came in to browse their selection - walked out with a great bike at a fantastic price. Max provided great advice on accessories and getting started in the sport. Highly recommend!
Very disappointed:I went in on Friday to have my bike serviced after being in the basement for about 4 years. They did look the bike over and told me that I would need a to purchase the tune up to have it looked over and cleaned up, and I should come back on Thursday to pick it up.I left feeling good about the the service, I felt that the pricing was right around what I expected .Well🙃Chapter 2 was the title opposite:I got a call from the shop on Tuesday saying they were able to get to and finish my bike ahead of time and I could come i and pick it up.......well the next day (Wednesday)I got there at the time they opened(noon)and I damn near had to hold the guy with a leash to get him to answer questions I had about the bike then he had the nerve to saywell I didnt work on the bike........like it mattered who did the work, you can see its not even cleaned at the least!!!!sometimes its best to take a $118.95 lost than to get ANGRY !!!!!Needless to say Ill take the extra 5 to 10 minute drive and go back to the bike shop that serviced my bike in 2012.I dont mind paying for a service but I do expect to be serviced.POOR SERVICE :SO DISAPPOINTING!!!!I can really appreciate someone when they address an issue.I went back in on Thursday to pick up my bike with the intentions of paying my bill, getting my bike and moving forward. The gentleman behind the counter addressed my issue and asked if there was anything he could do to make things better.I said no :thats ok.We further engaged and after sharing my concerns with him he recalled the day I came in and said that he did recall over hearing part of the conversation that day and heard me out about all that I didnt understand about the service that was done on my bike .He also took me over to the bike and pointed out the exact details of a tuneup.I was satisfied and my excitement was restored .He volunteered to take my bike out to the car for me, on the way out I asked him about a kick stand and he took the bike back into the store after pointing out to me where it may be difficult to put a kickstand on the bike but he could ask the guys inside🙏🏽To my surprise he came out with a kickstand on my bike and said :No charge /as my apology 🙏🏽it didnt end there. he spent about 15 minutes adjusting my bike rack and putting it on my car correctly 👍🏽I love it when simple conversations becomes the cure-THANK YOU SO MUCH :I didnt get your name but you know who you are and GOD BLESS YOUR HEART OF WANTING TO MAKE THINGS RITE🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽(humbled)
On the Friday before my Ironman 70.3, I flatted my tubular tire on my disc and I called Cadence in a panic. They said, no problem, bring it over and theyd try to put some sealant in. They helped me right away and even came outside to watch me test ride. It worked! And they only charged me $15 for the Orange Seal. Class act. Great service.
The workers here are always so helpful. They really seem to love bikes and helping people get the right equipment for their level of cycling.
The people that work here and very knowledgeable and will listen to what you are looking for and need. Theyll then suggest a bike to fit what youre looking for. If you ride it for the month and dont like it, you can easily come back and switch up for another model no problem, they just want to see satisfied customers that enjoy their bikes. Theyve got a very wide variety of bikes and equipment, and will gladly order you somethings if they dont have it in stock.
They only care about customers who bring in expensive road bicycles. The staff is just chilling out ignoring people checking out new bicycles on the display unless, they think a particular customer can buy one, they simply ignore you. They sort of do a quick fix for problems on less expensive bicycles that are not Specialized brand. I went in to check on the noise coming from my front deraileur and with great enthusiasm the mechanic fixed it for $12, only for the problem to resurface back in 15 minutes of my ride. They didnt even give the receipt for the job.this is not a first hand experience but actually this is the third time that has happened with me and now I promise, i will never ever go to Cadence ever even if its the most convenient or the only option left.
I have been to this bike shop several times for repairs on my mountain bike. The little ones were happily done for free and the more expensive and time consuming (bottom bracket replacement) type were done well and quickly. The staff is very friendly and a good source of information and advice. They also have a nice selection of both road bikes as well as mountain. Parking is a snap in front of the store. I will go there again.
This is a review of their bike service only, not sales.I recently came in to have my bike cleaned and tuned. They did a great job cleaning, but a less than great job on everything else, which was disappointing given that it was not cheap. On my first ride out I realized that they had not even lubed the chain, which you could say is the very basics of bike mechanics. It was completely dry. The front derailleur does not seem to be adjusted right, which was a big issue I was having when I brought it in. I doubt it was test ridden like they said it was, because they would have felt and heard these issues immediately. Ive taken my bike to maybe a dozen different bike shops in my decade of owning it and never had such ridiculous issues after a tune-up.I would recommend that you take your bike elsewhere.
Very professional, courteous, and helpful! Service was fast and I got exactly what I wanted/needed! Ill be coming back to them for the rest of my biking days.
Good collection of Giant and Specialized bikes. Excellent service! Highly recommended.
Friendly and helpful staff, but *incredibly* limited selection of tools and maintenance equipment. Was offered the opportunity to special order a spoke wrench... but Id rather just take it off the shelf.
Cadence staff bring the mountain vibe to the city with super friendly and helpful staff. They hooked me up with an awesome mountain bike that you can rent per hour. Made my day!! Ill be back for more adventures. Thank you!!
Great staff and very helpful. Came in with many questions and they were all answered by both the sales team and the mechanics. They carry Santa Cruz, Specialized, and Giant bikes- you cant go wrong with any of those.
I had a big race coming up and noticed my front derailleur cable was only connected by a few strands of cable. I went to Cadence and planned to leave the bike there for the day but Jude Vilain replaced it in 20 minutes while I waited. Service like that will keep me coming back to Cadence!
Very patient sales representatives. not pushy to buy and considered about overall rider comfortability and satisfaction
Very friendly and helpful!
Loved the experience with this shop and Brady and John. We bought two bikes- Specialized Roubaix Experts- and they did a great job in nogotiating the price with us. Highly recommend this shop and their followup with some return with had with blinking lights. Took them back without a question.
Super shop! Leaving on vacation and needed immediate repair... no problem, fixed as I waited (thx John). Way better customer service and response time than Main Line shop I formerly used. Thx Cadence.
Great shop. Excellent service from all employees. Highly recommend.
Great prompt service. Very informative and attentive to our personal needs.
Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great high end offerings as well.
I get my bike fixed there all the time and the staff are really nice and they go for cheep and do an awesome job
I like that they let you test ride bikes. Good customer service
Great crew. Very knowledgeable.
During my first ride after having Cadence tune my bike, I accelerated and went to shift onto my big ring but the derailluer dropped the chain off the outside of the sprocket without hesitating. Frustrated, I fiddled with my shifters and the position of my rear derailleur in hopes that I could get into my big ring. While this worked, I couldnt spend any time in a high gear due to rubbing against the front derailleur cage. Additionally, at the next stop light I discovered that the rear derailleur wasnt set correctly either as the two lowest gears would immediately skip once loaded.Generally I do my own maintenance, but I wanted to get my bike thoroughly cleaned, and for that, nothing beats an industrial parts washer which I do not own. I had also just moved here and didnt have my tools handy so I decided to get my bike tuned at a shop. I scouted out a few places and decided that Cadence appeared to be the best option. I brought the bike in and one of the mechanics was a bit snarky about the state of my brake pads; they were ready to be replaced but not past due given that I came from out west and regularly climbed 6000ft on a ride. He also tried to sell me on other extraneous service that I didnt need.Given the intial sales experience I should have just walked away but I didnt. The mechanics at Cadence should spend less time upselling their customers and more time practicing the basics of bike maintenance so that they get their tune right the first time. Given how badly out of whack the derailleurs were, I find it hard to believe that they were even tested on a stand and certainly not test ridden. They did fix the tune after returning to the shop but I had to wait in line for quite some time and all of the mechanics just kind of passed the buck on taking responsibility for the shoddy work.I will not be bringing my bike back to Cadence. Further, I wouldnt even buy Shot Bloks from them.
Cadence consistently provided great costumer service and great deals on bikes/services. They have always made my experiences with them exceptional!
Dont let the super-high end bikes & parts fool you - the sign that says All Riders Welcome doesnt lie. Walking into a shop like this you immediately think expensive and snobby - but Cadence is neither... well, they sell expensive things, but the repairs are always very reasonable and they dont give you any attitude, whether you walk in with a beat up aluminum bike or a full Campy titanium beast.Im in the process of building a new ride and have gone in twice so far for help with minor things. Besides charging nothing for a small torquing task and almost nothing to fix another owner-error they also told me what I did wrong - without any attitude. It was helpful. Try to find that service anywhere else around here, especially on Main St, and youre out of luck.
I stopped in yesterday with the intention of purchasing two Cyclocross Bikes, one for myself and for my Girlfriend. After showing me what was available downstairs and upstairs we returned to the front counter so that I could be given the cost. While standing there another Biker walked into the store and up to the counter to make a small purchase, I was completely ignored and the other customer was waited on, being patient I waited for the man behind the counter to then finish up with my order when he suddenly walked away to return a pair of Biking shoes to the back room, I waited another couple of minutes and when no one returned I left.Today I will drive to Garrisons in Wilmington DE, only a 40 minute drive to purchase my Bikes, if you have not been to Garrisons you should go, these guys really know what customer service is all about. D
Great people working there!
My first impression looking from the outside in at Cadence was that it would be full of bike snobs that would scoff at my very small knowledge of anything bike-oriented as I am a novice rider. Boy was I wrong! I came here to get an old road bike I copped off Craigslist (Which I named Xena) fixed with new brake pads, back tube, and some other minor fixes. Brady is the name of the guy that helped me, I believe. He was very polite, welcoming, and the best part, non-judgmental and no attitude! LOL! I told him all of my concerns and he gave me a brief price quote which was fairly inexpensive for the area and that surprised me as well. I was trying to avoid having to go into center city for the fixes since I live in Manayunk, so the good prices definitely piqued my interest! I will be getting her back next week and will definitely be coming back here for all of Xenas future needs! Much love!
Friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful staff!
Nice
