This place is great. They helped me when I got my tires stolen (twice...) and even helped to tune up my bike a little. Super nice people and reasonable prices. Conveniently located right near Temple. I just hope I don’t have to come back for any more stolen tires!
I recently purchased a bike for my daughter through Amazon and had it shipped to Cycles PHL for assembly. The process was seamless. Jacob kept me up to date on everything from shipping to delivery to assembly. I would personally recommend them to anyone. Great job!!!
This shop is very helpful. They helped me with all my bike problems.Employees are good with all type of bikes also.
This little bike shop. Its convenient very well with prices and they always have plenty of stock and staff to help you out I love them guys. And they also work on my electric bike which is a plus for me.
Very friendly staff in this neighborhood bike shop. Theyll work on new, used, old and historic bikes. They know their job and the parts, and will order what is needed. They will explain everything in detail. Theyll work with customers about schedules and specific needs. They are supportive and welcoming of local youth and of the Temple community. Prices are honest.
Have gotten so many flats repaired here. Consistent service. Quality staff. My go to shop
Been going to this bike shop for years and I only have good things to say. Got my first road bike from there and have been taking my current bike for tuneups and other stuff whenever I need something. They take very good care of the vehicles and their prices are some of the lowest in the city.
Great team of mechanics great fair prices and they are engaged in the community. Bestest in the city!
I came here to get my brakes tuned up and cables/ brake pads replaced. The cost was $65, which I wasnt happy with, but paid because thats seemed a small price to pay for safety. 3 days later my brake literally came off my bike while riding in traffic because it wasnt put back on tight enough. I returned the next day to have the brake reinstalled and the employee was very unapologetic, insisting that it came off because of my riding technique and not their negligence. Ive been riding for several years and this DANGEROUS mishap occurred right after I paid good money to ensure that the bike ran smoothly. I will stick with Kayuh bicycles on girard and made a mistake trying this place out because it was closer to my home.
I recently got a tune-up and a few new parts for my road bike at Cycles. They provided excellent service at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Cycles to anyone looking for a professional and friendly bike shop.Although you can buy some parts cheaper online, the expertise and advice that a local bike shop provides is invaluable. I also like to support small local businesses.
Great prices. They have some nice used bikes for sale too. Cool spot. Parking in the front is very easy.
Very reasonable. Offer a lot of great discounts for couriers and students.I do a lot riding in North Philly and it is always the jawn I got to when I need work done.
Came in looking to get my bike fixed up for some spring time rides (woohoo!) And was serviced quickly and with a smile, great shop great service and I met some nice people while waiting. Obviously you cant return a used tire, Philly roads are filled with dead squirrels.
Great work on my bike
Quick and kind service. Recommend them👍
Went to fix a flat get and a new tube for my kids bike tire had no hassle was serviced quickly and was affordable.
I was worried about the previous review of 3.6/5. In fact, they are pretty cool people and are willing to tell you what parts went wrong. Flat fix is $11, which is acceptable though i would like it to be $10... still, they can get the job done.
Low quality service, no returns, will overchargeBasically if youre looking for a bike shop where you leave with more problems then you came in with, this is the place for youI went in for a simple tire change on my back tire, and after taking a look at it, Jake the owner started listing a series of other problems that he suggested I take care of. The quote he gave was something close to $100, mostly for things Ive never heard of being done to a bike. I just needed a tire change. A couple days after getting the new tire installed, I realize I could get a better quality part at a different shop and I take the tire back to get a refund. I must have rode my bike no more than a few times since I went in to get it fixed and the owner tells me they have a no return policy. The tread on the tire I bought at his store still looks brand new and this guy tells me he cant take back, not even a partial refund.
Cycles is an honest and friendly shop who have an obvious dedication to the community. They patiently explained a lot of bike pros and cons before helping me find the right purchase and Im very happy with the outcome : ) I will certainly be coming back.
Arrived her on a recommendation and was not led astray. Small selection of affordable bikes and super nice folks helping to choose.
They dont know what there doing
Friendly and reliable service
I love going to that bike shop because they always got what I need for my bike and its not to far the price is ok shout to cycles
If you are looking for a straight-forward bike mechanic who will explain things to you, describe how much things cost and how useful each repair is, then this is your spot.
He declined to replace the back wheel of my bike when my sister brought it to his shop
Awesome people who are very committed to the community! High Five!
