I was very happy with my purchase there were two gentlemen in the store both very nice still listen to what I wanted in a mattress they allowed me to try several beds they use all the precautions necessary (PPE & Coverings for the pillows we used) they help me with all the necessary paperwork. My husband and I walked out happy and our queen size mattress set with foundation will be delivered on Friday. There was so helpful we bought a full set I only came in to get a mattress these guys were good!!

Really quick service. We were allowed timely to try the mattesses to feel which was more suited for us. The agent was very easy to work with. He was extremely attentive and answered all our questions. Besides customer service, we really loved that the beds had warranty and would be delivered less than 3 days time. All the other places we went to had a long waiting time.

Went to metro mattress to buy a box spring for my bed in a box. I expected to get 30 questions related to why just the foundation and not a mattress, etc. Instead I found Christina who was very knowledgeable and super helpful. She rang up my sale and explained the delivery process. Then she went back to help another customer. I heard her acknowledge their financial situation and make recommendations close to what they were initially viewing but closer to what they could afford. Marlee was very helpful with my many questions about a choice in a new bed. She doesnt anothe an hour and a half with me through the process and took extra care to help me resolve a problem right after with my pillows and the frame. There were some bumps with getting everything set up properly that had nothing to do with Marlee but management fixed everything with in a few days.Thank you!

Chad Vandenberg was exceptionally knowledgable, personable and thoroughly conversant with the entire Tempur-Pedic line. It was an easy and informative visit and we bought the top of the line bells-and-whistles frame and a top-model queen mattress. I have had a T-P since 2005 and it was time for an upgrade. Clean, neat store and we were told that everything was disinfected at night, plus they only take appointments for (masked only) visits which make one more virus-secure. Excellent experience.

I spent a couple of hours here. Joe was very nice a really took his time helping me get the best bang for my buck. Managed to find a mattress that was comfortable for my back and at a price I wanted to spend.

I was shown several different mattresses. Tom also explained the differences in them to me. He seemed to know all of the right questions to ask in order to find me my perfect mattress and everything else I needed to go with it.

My husband, Paul went in to look for a new mattress for our daughter on a very limited budget. The salesperson was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and incredibly helpful. We just couldnt see ourselves going anywhere else to buy!

Salesman was knowledgeable about the mattresses we tested out but when we asked some questions about prices compared to online and why they didnt align, the store manager seemed agitated and just became unprofessional and a bit rude. This was our first experience in a mattress store ever and to be honest, wont be back to this location.

I love this store. I bought a Tempurpedic mattress and box spring and I love it. The guys there are Very Knowledgeable. I explained my sleep situation to them and they pointed me in the right direction. They are not pushy sales people like the guys in other stores, Seriously they make you feel warm and welcomed. I honestly didnt think that i would be buying a bed from Metro because I thought they wouldnt be able to fit my budget. Glad I stopped in because we got the perfect mattress for a perfect price as the sales rep was determined to get us what we needed and the price we needed to be at. Highly recommend them.

Lenny was great! He wasnt pushy and understood that I just wanted a foam mattress. And even helped me save money from a home delivery because I can pick up the mattress from another store after work. This was great because I had went to 2 other mattress stores in Henrietta and got really bad experiences: one guy tried to sell me stuff I didnt want and another guy laughed when I told him the price I was looking for.

Sale person was able to give me a mattress that was out of my budget & give me a price I could live with. They really worked hard to give me a deal I was comfortable with. The the delivery guys were also very nice & arrived an hour before the designated time. They even removed my old mattress for free!

Finally had enough of chronic neck pain, and stopped into this store to try out some pillows. I was using a contour pillow, and didnt expect to find anything I liked since metro Mattress doesnt carry contour pillows. After trying a few pillows in the store, it was easy to narrow down which one was perfect for me (thunder 1.0). After trying the Bedgear foam pillows, I can say definitively that Im never going back to contour, nor will I mess around with feather or buckwheat... or any cheap pillows for that matter. Grateful for the assistance and insight from Tom, who helped me narrow down the options.

We had a wonderful experience with Tom at the Irondequoit location. We went in to ask the price of a new box spring, and wound up getting a brand new king sized bed. Tom spent a lot of time with us and showed us various options, but never pressured us. Once we decided on a mattress we liked, he happened to find one locally that was discounted because it had been briefly on display. Tom was genuine, explained things in a relatable way and we enjoyed working with him. I have bought several items from Metro Mattress in the last 15 years, and this time we didn’t just go in and buy the cheapest thing possible. We spent more, the great financing made that possible, but have a high quality bed that should last a really long time. We can’t wait for it to arrive!

Walked into the Irondequoit location today in hopes of gathering some information, and then visit a variety of other stores. We were looking to purchase a King sized bed. Tom was very informative and helpful without being pushy or forceful in any way. He introduced us to a variety of styles and provided detailed and useful information on each. We were so pleased with the knowledge, customer service detail, and the amazingly comfortable bed. Pur day opened up because we decided to make our purchase with Tom. He also generously threw in a couple high quality pillows. It’s a large purchase. Typically i dread furniture/bed stores as much as car dealerships. Today, Tom made it painless. Answered all of our questions, great presence and knowlege. Glad we stopped in to Metro Mattress first thing! Can’t wait for our new bed ro arrive. Two thumbs up!

Salesman was friendly and seemed knowledgeable during the first visit. I found a mattress that was comfortable and I wanted time to think over the purchase. I went home and researched the bed, the manufacturer, and Metro Mattress itself. I found a lot of reviews online of the mattress manufacturer not honoring their warranty as well as issues with Metro Mattress giving people a hard time about the warranty. I went back the next day and confronted the salesman about these. He became very agitated and defensive. Went on to deny the numerous reviews and downplay the complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau. After arguing with me about it, he returned my deposit, but was rude and didnt even acknowledge me as I thanked him for trying to help me. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

I do not use any social networking platforms but I wanted everyone who maybe in the market for anything associated with any sleep or bedding needs to stop into the metro mattress store in Irondequiot to see Joe. I actually came back into the store to ask him how I would be able to write a review. So that others in need of a mattress are made aware that going anywhere else is nothing but a complete waste of time. there is no point of going anywhere else at all, unless you like to waste your time!!! while I wasn’t fortunate enough to have made Joe my first and only stop. I visited several other stores before I was lucky enough to pass by his store on east ridge road, I was receiving nothing aside form several lackadaisical buying experiences from some uneducated pushy sales associate. Mr Joe McGinnis is a certified sleep specialist while giving each and every customer a unique personalized experience, with service that you can no longer find unless your back in the old country. I can’t express my gratitude to Joe, but I was also fortunate enough to witness first hand that this is how not only how I was treated, but each and every customer who walked through his door. You can tell right away that Joes only concern is that each and every customer received the same personalized experience while his one and only concern is that you will truly get a nights sleep that will honestly change your life. The only thing your left wondering once your purchase is delivered and completed was why in the world you had waited so long before going to see him to make that purchase. I even had to write this using his cell phone because I am in my 70’s and don’t use any social networking because everytime I have attempted in the past I have to sign up and log into 10 different things. HORRIBLE customer service! I wish I had taken down the name of the sales guy to help someone else avoid him In the future. (he was a tall, middle aged, slim guy) The very first thing he told us when we walked into the store was that he doesnt sell cheap mattresses. Who said we were looking for a cheap mattress!?! Just because we are a YOUNG couple does not mean we want to buy the cheapest mattress there. Working in customer service & sales for 7+ years its sad to see professionals being so judgmental and stereotypical. Needless to say youve lost our business- we bought a mattress set that very same day from your competitor. Avoid this place- there are businesses all over who sell the same products that Metro Mattress does AND offer RESPECT to all of their customers regardless of their age or any other factor.
