Friendly staff. Easy to leave donations at the drop-off behind the building.

I join the feeling left by many reviewers, a sensations that employees feel donors are there to serve them, treat them unprofessionally and seemingly have no consideration that their salary comes from the sale of donated itemsI arrived at the store shortly after opening time, as per google maps: i was informed that donations start only one hr after. The store manager came out, Mr. H., to reiterate the above with an entirely bothered tone of voice and demeanor, hands on his hips, rotating his eyes and looking either at the floor or at the ceiling. On the grounds that store was reported open he accepted the donation: when asked for a receipt same scene as described before but then hw walked to the back of the store to get me a receipt. A perfectly normal request from a person donating items to a 501-c-3 entity! While waiting for Mr. H. to be back, i was approached by the original desk employee, a lady that wanted to return my donation on the grounds that we do not give receipts here for these items (brand new polo shirts still with a tag, leather jewel boxes, etc.), if you do not like it, bring your donation elsewhere. Just about then Mr.H. returned with the receipt!A call to Goodwill HQ reflected the philosophy i just described. No wonder their site devotes substantial space and resources to clarify misunderstandings about our organization. The operator requested my cell number and 48 hours after that someone that hesitantly defined herself as the District Manager, Ms. P., called me back.A unique experience all along, i will never donate items or cash to Goodwill again.

My wife loves shopping at Goodwill stores. This one used to be well stocked. Not so much anymore.

This is somewhat of a retail/goodwill lots of junk dollar store products, however they do have a section of handpicked items . Restrooms and fitting rooms available. Handicap accessible. Very clean

We went to drop of a furniture donation after speaking to employee on phone prior to our arrival. Followed instructions and brought items to drop off section. There was one other person in front of us doing the same thing. Young employee came out with horrendous attitude yelling at us telling us that furniture needed to be brought into store which was not what we were told. in addition, other donations were outside where we left ours. The direction signs were not clearly marked and employee was extremely rude! We were GIVING a donation, there was no reason that we should have been treated like this!

This is a pretty barren goodwill in terms of inventory, all I ever find of interest here is music CDs.Its clean and well organized and never has any lines (because its never very crowded) but your time is probably better spent at Salvation unless its closed, which is highly likely considering that place is never open.

So I recently applied to work here and my initial application was for a part time position. I made sure it was for a part time position. It wasn’t long after my application was sent that I get a call from the hiring manager herself. She says that there is no part time positions that there are only full time position. You have to work 8 hours and the only thing you get is a half an hour break. Her words not mine. Umm, pretty sure in NH that’s illegal. You really need to read up on the NH employment laws. Secondly, you take pride and joy in claiming you hire people with disabilities. No you really don’t. On the phone I told her that I have back problems which has been diagnosed as scoliosis and arthritis in the spine so I can not stand for more than 5 hours. She says everyone stands here and we don’t accommodate for anyone. So, you really don’t hire anyone with a defined disability then? I was thinking about my options because I really needed a job and she told me this was a two way conversation and that she needed an immediate answer. Overall she was completely rude and this is the face of the company. Seriously? This was a phone call just to set up the interview. They only pay you $8.50 an hour. Yeah, no way would I take being talked to like that for chump change. Never in my life have I had a job interview that flopped this badly. Someone needs to really look at the people they hire and make some adjustments.

Stock level in this store is very low lately - unfortunately. Good location, easy parking, lots of other stores and restaurants nearby. The clerk told me that the store is woefully understaffed, so that explains why the racks are so sparse.Looking for a job? Theyre hiring!

I love this GoodWill! Its the cleanest one with the nicest staff out of all of the area stores. I also loved Hudson, NH until COVID-19, Then they closed down the pay by the pound side.... BUMMER 😷🥺😷

Gentleman that came out to talk with us was very rude. Another car was in the drive up drop off when we arrived. That car left and the gentleman came out complaining that we entered the wrong way. Pointed to a black arrow on the tarmac paved drive up. They may want to paint that arrow white so you can see it. First time weve been here and the last!

Great concept. You pull up and a worker takes all of your stuff out of your vehicle. Seamless and friendly. I have some more stuff to donate and will be returning.

I find the coolest stuff here for very cheap money. It could be bigger though in my opinion and the cashiers need to step up their game and actually check people out instead of talking so much.

Good used goods store, good buys, special sale days. Also good parking. Clean and rest rooms are clean. Everything sold there has been donated.

The store has newer items in it. As well as second hand items. The store is clean and new. The store has a progressive discount with a color coordination. All of the Personnel were friendly and helpful.

Walked out because 2 cashiers couldnt figure out how to fix a card not swipping. 2nd cashier helped a bit but should have taken other costumers instead of standing there telling first cashier ideas

Horrible customer service! Good variety, in fair condition items, however both cashier and assistant manager horrible customer service. Bought a tied bundle of two crocheted hearts (handmade) the price ticket got detached and stuck to a scarf. The cashier denied that it was the price I said was on the ticket and was selling it to me for a dollar more and with a snarky attitude asked wether I wanted it or not. I said no but later found the price tag on a scarf. She still would not sell it for the price listed. Asked for supervisor he agreed with me. Checked out looked at my receipt and she manage to add another item costing me that $1 difference, now normally for a $1 I would let it go but it was the principal of it! Went back spoke to the assistant manager and she too with an attitude gave me a $1 gift card not even the cash (which I ended handing off to another customer) no apologies what so ever!!!! Not going back to the Salem location that’s for sure!!!

It is a nice sized Goodwill, with what seems to be a lot of second hand products vs the new products I have seen at other Goodwills

Always surprises me when prices are high on things they get for free, which is now most Goodwills. T shirts cost more there than if you buy new at Wal-Mart or Kohls. The customer service very friendly. It is hit or miss on what you find and what you pay.

I cant say that it was well organized. It is new, so hopefully it will get better. It was quite messy too. They should better organize, and clean better. Disappointed in my first visit. Places like Somersworth, Portsmouth, and Hooksett are better.
