We used T.E. Andresen for a local residential move. They were simply phenomenal, I cannot believe how great they were. As everyone knows, moving is super stressful, but Andresen made the move literally stress free. They packed all of our belongings, and moved everything down our ridiculously cramped condo and into our new home. First, lets start with the packing, these guys (Harry, Bobby, and Jeff) packed super efficiently, faster than we would ever be able to pack alone. They brought all of the packing materials: boxes, tape, packing paper. They didnt want us to touch anything, and told me and my wife to just take a break. They were professional, respectful, and courteous.Now onto the actual move itself, I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful crew of movers (Louis, Louis Jr, Martine, and Gaspar), who were true gentlemen. They again moved an inordinate amount of stuff from our home super efficiently, quickly, and without a complaint. My wife and I were getting physically tired just watching them moving these massive boxes and pieces of furniture. They worked smart fitting whatever they could into our microscopic elevator. They dismantled anything that couldnt get through the doors. They must all be experts at Tetris, because I could not believe how they were able to fit these boxes and pieces of furniture down our tiny stair case and elevator. They also worked well together, moving in unison and moving massive pieces of furniture in synchrony. If you could imagine moving a large piece of furniture to be graceful, well this is it. The guys treated our stuff like their own, moving things gingerly without a hint of damage to our stuff or to the building itself.With the move into our new home, again they worked quickly, gracefully moving the boxes as requested into specific rooms, and arranging pieces of furniture for us. They then put back together all of the pieces of furniture they had to disassemble in order to get them out of our condo. Again they worked smart, they placed their truck up against our front staircase with a ramp, so that they could avoid climbing an additional 10 steps, working smarter! You see what I am saying here! These guys are doing it right! As someone else mentioned, I cannot say enough good things about this moving company and their crew.They are worth every penny and then some. If you are looking for movers, I highly recommend T.E. Andresen!

A very professional move by experience people. Had to have 2 pieces repaired but that was accomplished by the wood working shop atAzalea Trace w/i 2 days.

I like to share my moving experience with any body that is considering an interstate moving. Recently I relocated from Salem, MA to Duluth, GA. Before I selected a moving company, I read the reviews on the Internet by people of their experiences with the big Interstate moving companies. Each company had some good reviews and some bad reviews, but some were very scary. I called four big name Interstate moving companies for getting cost estimates. These estimates were in the range of $4700 to $9000!! I was about to select a company blindly. Then I called my son for his suggestion. He highly recommended a company T.E. Andresen Moving, a local Salem company and an agency for United Van lines. My son said they are movers for big Museums and they know how to take good care of my household stuff. So in the eleventh hour, I called T.E.Adresen. They gave an estimate of $5500 to pack anything that is breakable and I pack all the non-breakables like clothes etc. I selected T.E. Andresen/United for my move. They put together a great team; estimator Mr. Bob Nicholas, move coordinator Mrs. Pattie Saltsman, a great packing team, and the truck driver Drerek. Derek is a super guy, he is not just a driver. he is a packing leader, labeling every item, covers every box with a thick cloth and arranges all the items in the truck. he unloads the items at the final destination, unpacks and assembles the big furniture. They loaded the truck on-time and delivered on-time as they promised. not a single item has a scratch or any dent on any of the boxes. I could not have taken such a care of my own stuff as these guys. I am so happy to have selected T.E.Andresen/United. I would highly recommend this team to any body planning to make an interstate or a local move around Boston area.
