The Spring Klein Vision Center has always been respectful, courteous and professional. Ive been a patient for about 8 years for either a checkup or new glasses. Dr. Way is outstanding, patient and friendly. Their exam rooms are clean and they are on time with their appointments. Their frame selections include all the major brands with knowledgeable staff to assist. Their waiting room is clean and organized with a kids play area. Pretty much all areas of service are excellent.Thank you again for a wonderful experience.
This place is great. I had a terrible experience the last 2 pairs of glasses at 2 different places. I loved the customer service, the staff the Dr. and my glasses came in quickly are very good quality. I am very happy.
We love Spring Klein Vision! They are always fantastic to work with, every step of the process. My young daughter has been going there for years and has very poor eyesight. Dr. Nelson always takes such good care of her, along with everyone else in the office, from testing her eyes, to choosing frames and making her feel special, being patient, helping to fit the frames just right, calls, etc. Their selection of frames is wonderful, but its truly the customer service and care that keeps us going back!
Was charged for special testing so that they didnt have to dilate my daughters eyes. But the nurse told me she couldnt do it because my daughter was too scared. Explained this during check out but the lady wasnt hearing me, so I paid for a service that was not done. Was told that my insurance didnt cover glasses, only the exam. So I used their special promo and purchased 2 pairs. I found out that my insurance would have covered the glasses up to $300. They have one name they work under, bill your insurance under another practice (Eye Doctor) which participates with most insurances, but their inventory does not participate with insurances. They do this so you pay cash for your covered eye wear. Not to mention that I ordered 2 pairs of glasses, same frame just 2 different colors. I got a call that they were ready but when I got there only 1 pair was ready and they claimed there was an issue with the other pair and it would take an additional week. No big deal until it took almost a month to get them back. When we did get them, they werent even the glasses we picked out. But since I paid for them I had to accept them.
I visited Spring Klein Vision Center for the first time and am happy to report that my experience was excellent. I want to thank Dr Way, Gabby, and the rest of his team that helped me get through some issues with my new glasses. Together we went through a journey that almost had me giving up but thanks to this team and their persistence to excellence, I have the glasses that I wanted and needed. They never stopped being nice and professional when things got frustrating for me and believed in their abilities to correct any problem and get me what I needed. Spring Klein Vision Center is the best place to get your eyes checked and buy your new glasses! Dr. Nelson is awesome. She takes her time and answers all of your questions. I absolutely love this place.
My family has loved this place for years. One of us sees Dr. Way and two of us see Dr. Nelson. Both are amazing and have an incredible way of making you feel relaxed and confident you are getting the best care for your eyes. The doctors are top-notch, and the rest of the staff is incredible as well. With my job it is sometimes necessary to reschedule my appointment and they are always so friendly about it. And they always do a great job helping you select frames if you like more than one opinion like I do. I also want to mention you are never kept waiting. I know it sounds like I’m going on and on, but they are truly the best. We drive by many other optical places between our house in Champion Forest and here, but wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.
Lets start with office staff. This is the face of every organization . Always helpful, every time! Megan was an assistant but has worked her way up to office manager and she is always dedicated to good customer service. This means she knows how the client should be cared for and can train thoroughly and will expect caring service from her associates. The promoted from within, which I love. It shows loyalty to employees and reward for hard work! My dr. is Dr. Way. Always friendly, through and listens to my concerns and explains terminology. He works with me as well, I work TRF and when I told him about a issue I had reading small fonts, he has a real life example of how to SOLVE the issue without costing me more money. You dont find this dedication to clients regularly. I recommend them because they dont say they care, they show it at every visit I have had. They send out a annual coupon and my was expired due to the Corona shut down and they honored it. They are small business, again, I appreciate that.
Ive used Dr Way for years now. I have a pretty significant eye disease, and there are few Doctors with the equipment or ability to fit me for specialized contacts, but Dr Way has always nailed it! Very friendly Dr and his entire staff as well! As long as I dont outlive him, hell keep me living a normal life!
I met Dr. Way’s wife at a church event. I heard great things about him and his staff from another lady at the same event. I had an appointment this week and I am so happy with Dr. Way and his practice. Everyone is nice, happy, and knowledgeable. Dr. Way is hands on with every aspect of his practice. Megan got me started with the preliminary exam and historical medical information. She even checked on me when I was working with Ashley, one of several opticians in the office. I feel confident in Dr. Way’s diagnosis of my vision problems and with his staff. I noticed that every patient I saw in the office seemed relaxed and right at home. I’m so happy I found Spring Klein Vision.
We have a 9 year old who plays baseball and really needed to wear contacts to be his best (he’s a catcher with lots of gear) at the game he loves. Everyone at Spring Klein was so helpful and patient with all our questions and concerns. We really appreciate it. We trusted their expertise to guide us to the right fit for him, as he has a severe astigmatism which requires special order contacts. He loves the freedom and thinks he’s going to be a better player. Thank y’all!
Having been a customer here for quite a few years, ive always had great service here. Dr Way has always taken his time and answers all of my questions. The rest of his staff has been reliably friendly and helpful as well. Will definitely be going back again.
I actually stopped going because of how one individual treated me, Im assuming she is designated as a receptionist. I asked why I was only given a few boxes of contacts and told they would cover me for a full year (when they obviously wouldnt). Just for clarification, my husband originally picked up my contacts when they ordered them after going through insurance. I was informed my insurance would cover a full year when at my appointment. I then went back in for an unrelated appointment. They informed me my contacts I had been using for several years were monthly contacts. Nope. These were to be changed every 2 weeks I tell her. She said no, in the system this is what it says. I told her I have been using these for years and even pulled it up on google for her and showed it to her. She literally did not care. She said our representatives must have given us the wrong information. Regardless the insurance wont refund you so theres nothing we can do. Excuse the freak out of me. Where did you learn customer service little girl? I asked she have a manager take care of this. Was I ever called? Nope. Will I ever go back or recommend them now? Nope. It is really frustrating knowing I didnt get my full moneys worth from the insurance and I wasnt even compensated from the vision center or an apology. This has been a few months ago but I recently got a phone call about my reminder for my yearly exam. I would go back because I liked everyone else, just not that persons attitude.
I was so impressed with everyone from the staff to the Doctor. I wish I would have found this place a couple years back. Wont be going anywhere else from now on.
I look forward to my annual exam every year because of Dr. Way and Dr. Nelsons genuine care of my familys individual needs.My favorite part is the incredibly wonderful staff that supports them. They get as equally excited about my visit and I trust them (Yvette rocks!) enough to actually choose my frames for me.Keep up the great work!
Amazing service! Love this place! The doctor and staff were just a pure joy to be around and really helped me! They have a huge selection of glasses and they are very reasonable price! If you want amazing service come here! Christine M helped me pick glasses, and wow I was so impressed by her customer service I felt like I had known her all my life. She was so patient as I was the most indecisive person about my glasses and spent hours helping me. Im in love with my glasses and this place. If I could give it 10 stars I would!!:)

Great visit from start to finish! I felt like everyone was attentive and wanted to make sure I was taken care of. Dr. Nelson was patient in answering all my questions and discussed a lot of options to find what best fit my needs. The girl who sold me my glasses was awesome at helping me find a fun pair!
My family has been patients of Spring-Klein Vision and Dr. Way for the past 7-8 years. We are always recommending them to our friends whenever they are seeking a first class eye doctor. We use the VSP plan and get great rates on our exams and glasses. Dr. Way and his staff are always professional and take good care of us. And the best part is the location not far from our home!
Bought my glasses & frames here 5 yrs ago and the frames are the best ever owner. Put in a couple sets of lenses. Well, they finally broke.My lenses are fairly new so just wanted to replace the frames. Allison was very helpful and went out of her way to see if they were still available and they were. Saved a lot of money thanks to her extra effort!
Best eye Doctor place Ive been to. Very courteous, efficient and pleasant staff. Dr. Way is fantastic. They helped me look for the most discounts I could get for my daughter and my self and saved a bunch. Simply awesome.
Dont deserve a single star, doctors have no idea what are they doing. They gave my 6yr old child priscription very high he couldnt see anything with the priscription he got from there his vision might get worse if he was wearing his glasses and they didnt tell me that he had little bit lazy eye too. Luckily i took him software else for the other eye exam.
Initially - my thoughts were that of everyone else here. Dr. Way was great and eager to help address my astigmatism issue.However - and thats a very BIG however, I cannot say the same for some of the staff. Particularly Kimberly and some of those in the front office. As a client/customer, Ive come to expect a level of treatment that I think anyone should receive - and thats with the utmost respect and courtesy. Ive not gotten that here - especially when theres been an evident problem.After special ordering some pretty high end frames for me and my paying out of pocket for my lenses, continuous QC issues with their lab, and going back and forth, I received word that they couldnt get it right and would be refunding me my money. Mind you well over a month and a half has surpassed and Im holding the bag. Needless to say Im not happy, as no other resolve was offered.Today, I walk in to pick up my frames and there are Ill fitting dummy lenses in that arent the Lenses that came with the glasses and the frames are beyond botched up! Scratches on the finish, a cracked nose-piece and after a half hour of waiting for them to try to fix it, all I got was Sorry, Mrs D., we did what we could - we will talk to the Dr. I was told going forward they would not make any frames or lenses for me - you at least got one thing right - and that I would need to find a new doctor. Because I wouldnt accept your placing the blame on me?? Ha - no problem with that! Thats not appropriate business practices anyway. If Dr. Way were aware of this (something tells me hes not, entirely), then the treatment might be different.My issue here is the lack of care and full consideration - not just for me the patient, but for the money I spend. All things considered, a bit of resolve wouldve been great and earlier on - with the acceptance of responsibility. Especially considering, my insurance paid out some proceeds... As it stands, I wont do business with them going forward for this very concern.My suggestion is use extreme caution when purchasing high end items from this place. They may end up destroyed and you might be left holding the bag if you complain or confront the issue. I know one thing is for sure.... theyd better hope and pray the high end warranty that comes with these high end frames is honored!!
Service was eh. Not the best the only people that greeted us was the receptionist. The other staff didn’t bother to help us or even acknowledge us. The lighting in the frame section isn’t the best. Limited selection of frames. I rather go somewhere farther than here.
Interior looks like a hotel lobby. TV, fireplace and minibar!They have lots of modern equipment. For a small fee you can use a retinal scanner instead of having your pupils dilated. Well worth the $34!
I went there for the first time last week. My Doctor recommended them. Great Staff. Very helpful, polite, and professional. Very nice office. This is the only Vision Center my family and I will be using from now on.
The office and staff are great. Dr. Way is very thorough and takes his time explaining everything. If you need glasses, they have a great variety. Definitely recommend it.
Stay away away from this place. I went to Spring Klein Vision along with my 2 sons on 8/16/2016. Payed about $600 for a couple of prescription glasses and the office visit. Thought everything went okay until I received a bill on 7/26/17 saying I had a balance remaining for one of my sons. Apparently they never charged for the office visit. I dont understand how I could receive a bill almost a year later. They claimed this was the second notice, but the bill doesnt state that and there is an insurance write off on July 19th of this year. Clearly they just discovered the mishap and now they want to send an invoice a whole year later. Totally irresponsible on there behalf. Definitely will never be back.
Our family go to Spring Klein Vision the staff is very professional and the office is always clean. They even have some snacks and drinks available for there customers. I would recommend this place

Great customer service! I was down to my last set of one day wear contact lens when I made my order. The tech who assisted with my order was very accomodating to leave samples at the front desk to get me through until my order arrived in 3-5 days. Really appreciated her going the extra mile!

Very friendly comfortable atmosphere. Megan was great and was always making sure I knew what to expect. Very professional. Dr Nelson was great as well not the stick-in-the-mud monotone optometrists Im used to. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely love this place the Doctors and the staff are amazing. They see all of my children, one of which is special needs. My daughter has had an episode two different times while here, unfortunately this usually causes negative comments and judgement from people around us who do not understand the situation. I dont not remember the ladys name, but she was blonde and helping my daughter pick out glasses. She offered words of encouragement and praise which meant more than she probably realized. She was patient in waiting to assure my daughter was comfortable before moving on. The entire staff is wonderful but Id like to give a shout out to Dr. Way, Megan, Kimberly and Dr. Nelson for always making my daughters experience a good one!I would highly recommend spring Klein Vision Center to anyone looking for an eye doctor.

Showed up for my appointment yesterday only to find out they never put me on the books. I had to ask and suggest they check for an appointment today. Front desk told me one time and handed me a confirmed appointment time for 30 minutes later. I showed up today about 10 minutes early and am still waiting to be seen 30 minutes later! I just keep hearing Im sorry offered with a sheepish smile from the front office staff.The staff that actually sees you for your visit is very nice. Dr. Nelson is super fantastic! If it were not for the clinical staff and great doctor, I probably would not return.
It was perfect! This was my daughters first experience with contacts and the ladies were so sweet, kind, and patient as she learned the ins and outs of her contacts.
The staff and physicians are very professional and seem genuinely interested in their patients as individuals. The eyewear is much higher quality than I have purchased from other providers.

I have lost any confidence in this office and I am done dealing with them. I will not recommend this place to anyone, I am now convinced most of their recommendations made concerning my eye health were phony which is ethically just wrong.

I no longer trust this office. I have gone here for years. Dr. Nelson is nice and I havent had a problem with her but it seems no one in the office staff knows whats going on. Last year I went in for my appointment and no one decided to tell me that I wasnt actually due for a few more weeks so my insurance wasnt going to cover anything. I was told this at the checkout counter...so then they would not give me my prescription!!! So I guess they just thought I was coming in for the thrill of an eye appointment. After escalating the issue through everyone at the office I finally got my prescription mailed to me. Today, over a year later and on a whole new insurance I risked this office again....mistake....i made the appointment 2 weeks ago and called before the appointment to be sure my new insurance was accepted and what the copay would be. I received a call back (so she had time to find out the correct information) and I was told that my copay would be $10. Guess What, it wasnt $10. I walk out to be charged over $60. Apparently my insurance only covers 15% of the contact exam portion....its amazing to me that the ONLY person that can ever read my policy is the cashier. Maybe its time for a promotion. The cashier told me that the other lady is new so she probably didnt realize I was doing a contact exam too...really??? I imagine MOST people now days wear contacts and glasses. And of course...no one cares...i called after I left and wanted to talk to the other lady and suddenly no one knows who I talked to and when I tell them my issue no one cares again. I literally just got the ok Ok ok with the tone of let me get the upset woman off the phone...amazing. I am so sick of being lied to before I go into this office. I do my part to cover all my bases and they keep failing me. I even travel much further now just to go to this office...well I did....i wont be back here anymore and I do not recommend them. I dont think my standards for character are too far stretched. Be kind, dont lie, keep your word....is this really so difficult?
