The Dr. at this location was exceptional. She took alot of time with me to get the correct fitting and eye prescription. Doy helped me in the optical dept and was super patient and very knowledgeable. Definitely will return! Thank you Doy!!
Jenn and Doy are AMAZING! The whole process of getting new glasses was smooth and easy. The best part of the experience was when an issue came up; I received incorrect lenses by mistake. When I returned to the store, they were quick to order new lenses and we’re kind and gracious about getting everything resolved. I will defiantly be getting new eye wear from them in the future.
The rep was very helpful and knowledgeable about the need I had. She was able to repair my sunglasses quickly. I thought it was a major issue but It was not. Shout to the target optical team

I just want to say Brenda & Ashley, great people. This review doesn’t apply to them. However, PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I love target and had been to the optical once before so thought it was easy to go again. I was questioned if I smoked, diabetes and that I has a cataract. Im 27!! Maybe not impossible right? But I was terrified, went for a second opinion and no blood to even be considered border line for diabetes. No cataract! Not to mention for my first appointment I was scheduled on a Thursday at 5:40 and they were running behind an hour had to reschedule, come Monday 4pm also an hour behind. 2 patients walked out. I know this review won’t do anything but just want to help spread the word how this place works.

Do not go here. The receptionist greeted me with, I tried to call to get you to come earlier. I got off work at 5, and they had availability for 5:40 which worked for me. My appointment was very rushed so they could get out of there at 6. I notated the medical history of my family and was repeatedly asked if I was sure it was correct. The optometrist was extremely unprofessional and talked down to me like I hadnt worn glasses for the past 36 year snapped at me when I tried to scratch the corner of my eye. After getting home I got an email saying I was scheduled for a appointment next year, but I never scheduled an appointment. I will not be going back and will tell everyone I know to stay away. Im not confident my prescription is even correct.Update: I heard from Target Optical and was told the doctors are independent and thank you very much. I am appalled at this response. Even if the doctor does not work for Target directly, her actions still reflect on Target.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Where to start. It took me almost a week just to schedule an appointment. I had called three times this past week and was told they were currently busy and would call me back. Never received a call back on 3 separate days of experiencing this same treatment.Yesterday I show up at my scheduled time and they were running an hour behind. I rescheduled for today and show up and today they are running 90 minutes behind with a diff eye doctor. Talk about very unprofessional. Waste of my time.The woman next to me was there because they lost her contacts after telling her they came in. Last year I had the same experience and they had to reorder mine.Highly recommend staying away from this place at all costs. Please hire competent people and do additional training.

First time I went to this place I didnt receive full cost until my exam. I came back feeling they still had the best deal. To end up being talked down to by some asian lady who thought she was a redneck who gave me contacts that see worse then my original glasses from a year ago. I wouldnt even go back for a third time cause theres no telling what they would mess up. So Im back in my glasses from a year ago with a charge for frames and fittings for I dont know what cause I got contacts.

Never again. The lady that conducted my exam was overzealous in trying to set up bogus tests. She asked a bunch of questions but talked over nearly all of my responses and she kept talking in circles. It felt like she was trying to work an angle to set up unnecessary exams and wrote up a letter even though I told her not to. She was more interested in my water consumption and if my family had diabetes than the actual eye exam. Maybe she thinks she’s a physician and should be giving people dieting advice. This is the second year I have this horrible experience so I will be getting my eyes checked out somewhere else moving forward.
Doy is the greatest. He is a true asset to Target Optical.

The manager Brenda was super amazing. There was a discrepancy with my order of prescription sunglasses and she went above and beyond to make me happy. That is excellent customer service. You have a customer for life.
Brenda has great customer service not pushy at all allows you to take your time trying on frames she greeted everyone the exact same that came inside the store as if they were a longtime friend and she was happy to see them definitely will be recommending my friends and family.
This location has an amazing selection of affordable frames! Designer frames and sunglasses! I recieved great service during my visit and all my questions were answered. I highly recommend Target Optical!
I will say this doc was wonderful. Her technique is different to the exams that I have had in the past. Very precise and pays attention to detail. From explaining the picture of your eyes to leaning into eye machine, Very, very, detailed. Best experience I have had.
My sister and I had a wonderful experience here, mostly because a they young lady who worked there, Eboni. She let us look and try which ones we thought would look good, not being pushing or forcing anything on us. We asked which pair Eboni thought would look good on my sister and I and she pulled out a frame and it was the one! She is very good at her job! We ordered our glasses in a Wednesday and were called in to pick them up on Friday and Monday, super fast process! Thank you Eboni, we will definitely be returning to get the rest of my family’s glasses!
I love this place!! The staff there knows the meaning of customer service! Chris was at the front desk and I have never seen anyone muti-task the way she did! It was a thing of beauty! The Dr was very nice and extremely helpful. I will be using this place from here on out for all my optical needs!

Took a picture of the Target Optical on the Grand Parkway store on 6/7/2018. Called for an appointment and scheduled for Noon on 6/8/18. Showed up and they had scheduled me instead for this location 20 minutes away from the one I called about. No apology. So I got in the car and drove over to this location as quick as I could and they had cancelled my appointment. Offered no amends, no apology, just arguments. Horrible.
The doctor is not caring at all, the staff is very rude. I wasted money here and still had to go get a second opinion. Don’t recommend.

Inconvenient & very unorganized. I do not recommend this office to anyone. Very poor customer service.
Dr Chapman conducted my eye exam but discussed alot of personal details in the exam room which is quite open to the other patients waiting to be seen. She showed a level of unprofessionalism when she yelled out who in your family has diabetes?, my answer was no one then she explained to me why she asked that. I know other people waiting could hear our conversation because I could hear the conversation of the people before me. She also asked questions and talked over my responses. Aside from her, you really have to pay attention and ask questions when your purchasing glasses. There are alot of preferred features that they may add to your glasses but these features are optional and you may not be told that. So you may leave out paying over a hundred dollars with insurance or you may leave out just paying your co pay.

Bad service, I did the exam for my contact lenses and I had to come 4 times and they never stayed. The glasses that I bought in the insurance took me 6 months and they broke. I came to replace it and I have to pay an amount that means that every 6 months I have to pay to replace it, because they do not explain it when they buy the insurance. . so expensive and they do not work
