This is a great place to shop. Very good selection and great prices. Friendly staff. I am curious to know how long ago the 3rd floor was closed off to customers. I really hope this store will stay open. It was worth it to drive over from Poulsbo.

I always loved shopping at Sears. This one here is south center was good to come in and look for clothes and tools

Its not every day you find an open Sears location anymore, but the SouthCenter Mall is home to a massive one. Three floors worth, in fact - the first floor is for clothing, the second is where youll find bedding and some appliances, while the third floor (and the only ones without direct access to the mall) houses hardware and Craftman merchandise. While clean, the store has numerous empty spaces as if there isnt enough merchandise to warrant the large space the store occupies. They still offer layaway, which is amazing in and of itself.The store is almost like a time machine as, outside of its near following neon logo, nothing looks updated inside for decades. The staff though was friendly and plentiful, and there are certainly a lot worse locations than this one.You may not buy anything here, but its worth it just for the experience.

Wow, at least 60% of the inventory on the two floors is just not there. The upper floors are closed. I think when this was Fredrick and Nelson there were 5? A lot of empty space. I dont see how this works going forward. Amazon has killed the mall. Some great buys on sale, 450 piece craftsman tool kit for less than half price! Helpful staff but only a few on shift.

Some of the prices where pretty good but some if those workers are pretty rude .

Its a Sears that is still open. The fact that they have stayed open warrants 5 stars alone. By the time I went there, there were only two of the three floors operating. I will say that stock is low, but prices were also low. I got some university t-shirts for $3 and some pajamas for $2. Sears was a popular retailer in the 1970s and it was like I was paying 1970s prices. While I was there, I was also encouraged by seeing a man purchase a mattress, another purchase a barbecue, and someone else buy a refrigerator. Theyre still rolling.

Dont sit on product from them. apparently after a couple years if they sent the wrong thing you get told to get bent, even if the product was upward of 1k in cost.in a world where there are many better options and sears is already struggling... shop somewhere else.this business reached the point of a drowning person, they will drag you down for a few moments of trying to catch one last gasp before they die.

I was trying to pay for childrens clothing. Walked the whole floor to check out, but guess what ??? Not a single employee on site. Next time instead of walking in to Sears has to offer, I will just keep on going. Waste of my time.

The tools section went from half of a whole floor to about 100 square feet, I dont think they get new stock, everything is on for clearance prices, cheap tool sets.

Didnt even know that Sear was still open. With that being said, that store is huge, 1 sweet lady down stair working throughout the whole store, Jane was very nice and professional. I told her she was holding it down by herself. Kudos to her. O I did find another woman in fine jewelry, also put some heat on its cold in there.

I was saddened upon learning that this location will be closing soon. Now is a great time to save money on many items. Visit soon!

The Sears Craftsman warranty is alive and well.My 1/2 drive socket wrench wore out andwhen I took it back to the Southcenter store, Sears associate Michael took the broken tool and handed me a new replacement tool.Im very satisfied with my experience.I like the Craftsman tool line and will continue to purchase Sears Craftsman tools.

Never seen a company that tries to charge you on warranty repairs. They dont honor their warranty. Their understanding of repaired free of charge statement is part free but repair labor not included. What a shame!

Alright, slightly dead inside. But I will admit I get amazing service every time I’m in at the one cash register it ever feels is open. Prices are decent and parking is pretty good, love not having to go in the mall and they’re never busy so it’s always a quick trip. I think Sears can make a come back, that’s just me lol.

Couldnt find a sales clerk on any floor until we found one in jewelry on 1st floor. She was great. Seems the other floors were sending customers to her. Wow! She should get a raise!

I bought washer machine and dryer at south center mall, Kent, Washington on 11/22/2020. Until now, I did not receive delivery yet. I received 2 time for reschedule delivery until now 12/24/2020 for delivery. When I will have the product? I have to took vacations days and waited for. They charged my money a month ago without have the products with them. Who responsibility? I suggest nobody want that happen. I suggest that Sears manage do not know this problems or their stores Will be close for without customers come back again.

It was a melancholy feeling when I walked in. I didnt know what to expect. I know this pandemic has caused a lot of changes in the retail world. Gone were the lines of people looking in the display cases, the racks of clothing where you would see 100 of the same items hanging on them down to 30 or less. No crowds of guys looking at all the latest Craftman tools. Only one cashier island open on each floor. It was nice to find what I needed to pick up, so there was at least that good feeling.

Not enough checkout areas, the one and only checkout stand the cashier stopped working and answered her cell phone.

Going down hill fast but good close out sales are worth a visit

They were having a great sale. I bought a $500 white gold and diamond necklace for $160! Their clothes are ok. Definitely find good work clothes but nothing too fancy.

You can sure get a lot of good deals here right now. Sales on clothes were impressive. Dont expect a quick trip however. Few check out stations open and significant lines. Also be prepared to find what you want. Staff to help are nonexistent.

Store has really gone downhill, at least as far as customer service availability is concerned. There is absolutely nobody working the 2nd floor and i saw only 1 cashier for the whole store (aside from the jewelry rep). The store is next to DEAD, there were hardly any customers at all for what should be the busiest night of the week (Saturday). And NONE of the price check machines work at all. Im guessing its only a matter of time before this store shuts its doors for good like a lot of the other Sears across the country have done. Sears is a company in its death throes.

I will never do business with Sears again.I own 5 rental properties, and all of those properties have appliances from Sears. Five months ago (February of 2019) a microwave in one of my properties broke.This Microwave was still under warranty, so they sent a Sears technician out to fix it. The technician couldnt fix it, he said it needed to be replaced. Sears wanted to double check, so they sent out a technician for a second time.I called in for the replacement, and they said they needed to send out another technician to verify. After the third time, the microwave had fallen out of warranty, but there is a 90 day workmanship warranty whenever a technician comes out. I called again for a replacement, and instead they sent a technician out for the fourth time. Again, the technician couldnt fix it. Since then I have had three more technicians come out for a total of 7 times. I called again to order the replacement, and again they denied it saying they want to try to fix it first, so they are sending out a technician for the 8th time.HERE IS THE KICKER! Each time a technician comes out it costs $250. That has been waived every time because it was under warranty. They will have been out here a total of 8 times, and my microwave originally only cost $194. That means that Sears has spent $2,000 to try to fix a microwave that cost me less than $200. No wonder they are going out of business.

Going down hill. Use to live in this store but now they dont carry hardly any stock on tools. Lifetime guarantee on tools is now worthless because they dont carry the same tools.

I havent been to the mall in ages and I now remember why. While looking in the store, the displays were messy and unkempt, there were clothes stuffed everywhere and some on the floor. There were racks of clothes partially blocking the check out and piles of clothes at the check out too. I was asked to join their rewards club thing and I politely declined twice and after the 3rd time being pressured, I told them this was the first time Ive been in their store in 5 years and I was absolutely positive I didnt want to join.

Sears is obviously changing, but despite all that it still great value for your dollar. This weekend had the famous Sears die hard boots on sale for 1/2 off. We all love great deals and Im glad there still around. Thanks Sears for hanging in there and providing another local store with real live people to talk to. Thumbs up to you, Andy

Ordered a mattress for delivery. They set everything up and told us the mattress required two bases (King) and that they ordered them. The delivery was cancelled twice and we had to call in. They said they couldnt deliver because we only ordered one base. We were told they were $750 each and we were charged $1250. The warehouse said they were $1250 EACH and refused to deliver. Call center in India was worthless. They had no power to do anything. Kept transferring us to the Tukwila store, which transferred back to India. This place is a joke. Millennials arent killing Sears. Its committing suicide.

If Sears continues to hire excellent personnel like they have now and maintain an inventory of valuable goods like they now have on their shelves..... they have the potential to rebuild a smaller but thriving business that will endure.

Sears is not the same Sears you got used to. Customer service knowledge is down, product selection is not great, variety is way down and limited. You can not say, I need that backpack, that luggage and those hardware and I am gonna go do one stop shopping at Sears. Not anymore. Walmart will be a sure alternative without frustration you will find. I dont think Sears can compete with anyone anymore

Bought a home with a Kenmore (Sears) refrigerator. Some of the little inside pins that hold up the drawers broke. 1). Everyone said Id have to buy a new refrig so I went to Sears. Not good at this and got frustrated with the process. The floor manager would not help me. To be polite, I asked if I could make an appointment? He said they dont do that (help me) so I left. 2). Thought about putting a refrigerator into landfill for a few pins, and the cost and hassle of a new refrig, and brought out the Sears repair guy. He said he wouldnt fix it because the new pins wouldnt hold. I said I wasnt all that fussy, super glue would work, and I didnt mind the 2nd visit price, but he said, no, I needed to buy a new one, $105 for the service call please. My son long distance said he could fix it, so I put a notice on the nextdoor app for help. One neighbor volunteered a box of refrigerator pins of different size. Another neighbor came by, took out the.broken pins, and popped in the new ones. The whole thing took an hour as shes never done anything like this before. Theyve held up for 3 weeks now so I think Im good. 3). I had one last part to buy, a drawer frame broke as the pins were breaking. For an entire week i could not get the sears parts website to move to shipping module, just an infinite stuck loop. Called the 800# and they wanted $15 more, couldnt figure out how to match the website price. Also I wanted to pay with paypal (keep my cc # secure), which they said wasnt offered. I came back this weekend to try online again, still broken. The chat supervisor gave me a new website link that worked, and while it cost $15 more too, it worked at least, and i used paypal. Ive never seen a business where NOTHING works before. If I played the market, Id play a put on Sears.

I dont know what has become of the Sears I used to know. I remember when you could go to any department and there was someone who could help you that was very knowledgeable about everything in their department. The past few times Ive been there, the only people around to ask questions are the cashiers at checkout...and they rarely seem to know anything about the products. The only good thing about my last experience there is that I found the item that I was looking for and got it at a very good sale price. But beware, the online price was over $50 cheaper than in the store. I showed them the sales price on their website and they gave it to me at that price. But had I not checked online, I would have overpaid fur it.

The restroom wasnt clean and I couldnt get help at the jewelry counter. As soon as I said I wanted to look at the jewelry the two people behind the counter disappeared.The displays need to be repaired.

This company should close all their locations and go out of business once and for all.The customer service after you have given them your money is horrible.I purchased a refrigerator and a dishwasher and while that experience was fine, all contact since has been a nightmare. To begin with the saleperson at the Southcenter store did not tell me that they would schedule a separate install person to install my dishwasher. They called to confirm my install appointment to a phone number that was disconnected even though I updated my number when I purchased the items. They were calling to confirm an install date of May 26 when my dishwasher was delivered February 1.My brand new refrigerator came with missing screws and a huge hole in the bottom of the door with insulation coming out. The first delivery person said there was nothing he could do about and that is just the way they did things. A second person came out to adjust the feet on the refrigerator and said that he had no screws and could not order any for me. He also said that the refrigerator just came that way, with insulation coming out of the hole.This has been nothing short of a nightmare and I will never again shop at Sears.

This series is pretty good they have a great clothing section the tool section is all limiting but the home section is great as well I went here and got my Fathers Day gifts and a gift for myself as well from some Shop Your Way points that I earned for you can never be free money so I always apply for these programs plus you cant be serious for a Craftsman lifetime warranty

I honestly dont know why Sears is in financial trouble because Ive always like shopping there. I can always find what Im looking for or need and they have some nice stuff. Unfortunately I see most of the old big box stores going thanks to internet sales.

I live for SEARS, literally! I am a Auto Tech and buy nothing but Craftsman from them as if anything breaks I simply return it to any store. You cannot do that if you buy Snap-On! Oh and did I mention it pays to be a Shop your way rewards member? That means any thing and everything has points that can be used as store credit! The only downside is they do expire but you can use them on any sale they have going on!
