Were here so often when my toddler plays/pretends shes going to work, she says she works at home Depot πŸ˜†. Getting into the plaza is a bit dicey since Costco is right behind it but if you can deal with a little bit of a funnel getting in, then your good! If I could suggest anything, it would be some grounds cleaning. Ive brought my kids here several times to clean up trash because they were acting entitled. But between the taco time nearby, stander bys and the driveway to Costco there is always a ton of garbage tossed in the parking lot.

Home Depot came through where Lowes couldnt!! I went 2 different Lowes before coming here. Both of them, online, said they had what I wanted in stock but didnt. I come here and there isnt any in the bay, but they were up on the racks... and it took at least an hr for the forklift driver to get them down. Just glad that in the end the quality of the post hole digger I was in search of, finally ended!

This location has a woman named Sheila running the whole front of the store, she’s so patient while she multi tasks!! I’d lose my patience when it’s so busy… every time I come in she’s working and so friendly she always says hello so pleasantly and she has beautiful eyes! I wish more people had work ethic like that or even try to smile more at work… I know it made me want to work happily again in my work place. Bravo Sheila!

To day I went back to the store because I was given wrong paint. On 10/25/21 I got sample of paint that I want, after I check the sample I know that was right paint so I went back to store and I ordered the paint. One of the women took the order and after 20 minutes the other woman who l did not get her name but the short white women took out the paint and gave to me β€œ her is your paint β€œ I made mistake my self I did not check if she gave me right paint but she did gave me wrong one when I went back to store she said I picked up wrong paint myself. She lied, not lied only she disrespected me that she considered me a layer she never apologized instead she continued arguing with me that she didn’t make mistakes. I had to pay 50 dollars more for labor because she gave me wrong paint . She lied because she was one took out and gave me it was not even put down from her hand went to my hand I trusted her but she lied she has very defensive behavior she seems that she owns Home DepotPlease check your paint if you order before you walk from the storeThanks

Would give negative stars if possible. I did an online order for store pickup with the notice that if not picked up in 7 days the order would be cancelled. One of the items was out of stock so I decided to let the second half of the order cancel; however, on day 7 I got a notice thanking me for pickup. After not being able to reach anyone on the phone locally I reached out to corporate who also could not reach anyone on the phone. So now I’m out of my hard earned money because someone lied saying I picked up the item which they probably just kept for themselves. I love Home Depot and use them for all of my projects but I will definitely not use this location with dishonest employees and terrible customer service again.

Customer service in the store has improved! At least most of the people on the floor are trying to be helpful. BUT, improvement is definitely lacking at the cash registers. We were in line had the gate closed in front of us and no one else was apparently open. There was a lady dusting around her area, her register light was not on, and when we started asking for a manager or supervisor she decided that she was then open. The supervisor of the self-check hardly speaks any English and couldnt help with anything. Definitely need improvement on the front end to check out!

Terrible customer service in lumber, good luck getting help. Actually called customer service in advance because I knew I was going to have a problem because I wanted some wood cut and they just dont seem to like to do that at that store. This time the associate refused to cut anything for me. I had to get the acting manager at the store to help me and then I got hassled again when I was trying to leave with the lumber.Im not coming here anymore. I give up. Even though help is great other departments its just not worth it to get hassled by the employees.

Apparently the appliances at HOME DEPOT are only for display. I found the dishwasher I wanted. Right color, right features. Good to go…not available. I found the refrigerator my wife wanted Right color, right features. Good to go…not available. Can I buy the floor models ? No! Not no but NO! Manager said β€œIt is against our store policy to sell floor models of any type!” So apparently policy is worth more than more than making money. That’s 3k going somewhere else. I talked to my investment person and now none of my retirement is in HD. I want to make money even if they WILLFULLY try not to. MIND BOGGLING!

The employees at the Tukwila store are not by any means following the WA state mask mandate or your health and safety standards. A goodly portion of your staff believe letting their nose hang out is the appropriate mask wearing behavior. Some seem to believe wearing it around their neck only makes them complaint. Additionally, your staff seem to feel no responsibility to ensure customers are masked. Seems your store has a management problem

Just TRY and get customer service on the phone. If it wasnt so infuriating it would be kind of hilarious. I spent the better part of my afternoon trying to talk with someone about the fact that the grill I bought had been assembled incorrectly and the screws stripped (so I cant fix it myself). When I finally got someone on the phone, they told me that there is only one guy who does all the assemblies, so its likely that all the pre-assembled grills have the same issue. My best bet is to drill out all the stripped screws and get some replacements from Ace Hardware. Definitely wont be purchasing from Home Depot again. Honestly if fixing it ends up being too much work, Ill probably just return it and buy from somewhere else.

Ms Sheila’s assistance was so accommodating and refreshing that I have made this my regular Home Depot and I live all the way in Bellevue. Lol however, It’s just really nice to see when a worker actually enjoys helping a customer and not β€œho hum” you can feel someone’s energy when they don’t want to helpβ€” literally 3 other workers walked past me or straight out ignored me and she came right over to me with no rushing and courtesy** I was able to get all the items I needed -MADE MY DAY!-I genuinely felt helped. I have to say the tool counter employees are extremely nice courteous helpful. Better than most at home Depot for sure. came in to check out the tool rental and truck rental and was quite surprised versus other home depots in the area. Definitely worth renting from for sure. I generally have a great experience at Home Depot. I will not be visiting this location again. This time I was picking up an online order. It took 45 minutes for pickup. My item was actually given to someone else named Christopher. Because evidentially thats how they keep track of online orders at this location, by first name, not last name.I was offered a refund since my order was given to someone else. I refused and told them I wasnt leaving without my item. So ultimately, they gave me, SOMEONE ELSES ORDER. I placed and paid for vinyl fence. they delivered the wrong product and missing 20 posts because they. dont have them. I called and was on hold for 42 minutes and when they picked up and they said I have to speak to delivery and I was transferred. the phone is been ringing for 16 minutes now and no one is picking up. I have to go and pick up my refund and find the rest of the posts. this the second store that did that. I got refunded from the federal way store and the shortened me the delivery charge and now I have run between homedepot stores to collect my refunds and wait for them to exchange the penals. this started 08/21/2021 and today is 09/24/2021

Sebastian is so caring and helpful. My wife and I came in with a broken window and we had 10-year insurance with the window company. We expected that they would cover the cost of the window, but when we called they said we can’t cover this and they discontinued that window. Sebastian talked to them and convinced them to cover it. Tool rental department could do a much better job at customer service. Waited almost a half hour in line only to find out they didnt have the equipment I needed available. Heres a tip, Home Depot...if you cant take reservations, how about a white board with the most popular items for the season showing whats available? Or, you could have friendlier staff who could actually practice customer service and answer a question before youre the next in line. And if it isnt too hard, maybe a smile? Friendly and helpful staff, we were buying a water heater at South Center (just south of Seattle) and needed a flat cart, before we had to ask, a friendly staff approached us asked if we needed a cart and got us the one right away. I want to give high marks for the young woman who stepped in (to help her coworker) to help me and another before me. Unfortunately I didnt get her name (my receipt has a number DXR16PV under released by) but this young lady was very efficient and moved with a purpose! Cant say that about the other woman who was already manning the pick up counter and in the time DXR16PV helped two people to the other womans one (and I even had other purchases) people like her need to be recognized and valued!

Ok so today was a little out of the ordinary. I shop here pretty often for tools and supplies for the construction company I work for. I came in with a pretty large list, and when I asked the girl working in the tool section Celeste if I recall correctly... to help me get some tools. She couldnt have been more annoyed. I mean theyre either locked up or up on a high shelf. I couldnt get then myself if I wanted to. At a snails pace she climbed down from where she was stocking shelves and walked through with me as I pointed out the tools I wanted. She had a bad attitude and was actually rude to me. After I had shown her all I needed... She eventually went back and moved her ladder over to where the oscillating tool I asked for was at. and began securing the legs. I had gone over to the next isle and found a compressor I wanted but it too was on the top shelf. I came back to the isle she was on, and told her I had one more thing to add that I needed her help with. After arguing with me annoy how many nail guns were included in the combo, She climbed down off the ladder (without grabbing anything!) and moved it all the way to the other isle. I was at this point starting to get a little upset it had already been several minutes since I had asked her for help and she had yet to get one thing yet. After seeing up the ladder again, she was unable to lift the box down off the shelf so she went and got help. And it all took so long! There was no sense of urgency. This girl couldnt care less about my time. I asked the guy who eventually came through with a lift. If he could help me with the rest of my order, as I was losing my patience with her. She did eventually get my stuff. But it was one of the worst customer service experiences. When I talked to the guy on the lift whos name I chose to leave out. He said this was normal for her and that shes had complaints about this in the past. I think these guys need to pay attention to who theyre putting out on the front lines. I work in customer service as a manager. I wouldnt except this from any of my employees.

I went to pick up a grill today and discovered that it was already assembled, very large, and could not fit in my car. It could have been a really bad day, but Danielle came over and suggested a truck rental. She showed me to the rental desk where Abdi quickly got me checked out. Danielle then had JJ and Ivan help me tether the grill to the truck and got me on my way. I’m so grateful to all of the people for helping me when I was at a loss of what to do - I think they went above and beyond what I would expect for service. Thanks ya’ll!

I am generally a big fan of Home Depot but this location is a joke. I purchased a new BBQ to be built by them on April 5th. They said it would take a week to build and then they would call me to pick it up.3 weeks later Im trying to get a hold of them, spending at least 45 minutes on the phone on hold to be hung up.. TWICE. I finally get hold of someone and they say that it will be another week until it is built. Okay I thought - fine 1 more week. 15 minutes later - they call me back saying they had built one and it was ready for pick up.I quickly rent a u-haul trailer to go pick it up, show up and they had taken the floor model and slapped my name on it. It was missing a button, had a bent door, and lots of dust - clearly indicating it hadnt just been built as they claimed. I was furious.I reject the grill and obviously complain all the way up to the assistant manager - Victor. He offered to have it built again, gave me a discount on the purchase and offered to deliver it since Im out the U-Haul costs - and it would be ready a week from that (today). Again, I cant get hold of anyone to confirm the delivery time (on hold for 30 minutes twice to be hung up on) and I cant tell you how fed up I am with this location.I have no idea when I will get this grill and will NEVER shop at that location again.

I have purchased vynil flooring and I rented a car (Van) from Home Depot to bring it home. It was very hard for me to upload the van so I was looking for someone to help me. I met Wi at the Customer Service and he was amazing!She helped me searching and finding someone to help me upload all the flooring into the van. It was very hard to find someone to help since everyone was busy with other clients. But she did her best and found 2 people to help. She even helped with pushing the cart with the vynil flooring to the home depot rental office. She is absolutely amazing and I am so happy and grateful to find such people at Home Depot with such a high level of customer service. Wi is absolutely the best! Thank you for everything.

I remodel houses for a living and Im just in Renton for a short time to work.I bet Ive used at least 20 Home Depots for material for my work and not all are the same.This Home Depot store is flat 100% terrible. This must be one of the worst managed stores in their chain.There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at this disgusting Home Depot. You cannot get anyone in this store to do anything, they hide in little groups to avoid interuptions and work. I was in today and must have asked 5 people for help with one small chore. The one and only response from their employees being not my job or not my department as they walked away. The employees here were useless which directly implies horrible management.I make a promise now, I will never return to this Home Depot, ever. We were quite short on budget this year for various reasons, and so as a family we were pretty sure we wouldnt be getting a tree this year. However, we decided to give it a shot and ask for more of a discount on one of their Christmas trees so that we could bring one home. We went to speak to the manager, and she gave us the tree for free! If you would like to have dangerously high blood pressure go to the Home Depot in Tukwila, Washington! Ordered 6500$ in flooring supplies and ended up canceling everything due to horrible customer service! After having the pallets of flooring delivered to my home I went to the store to pick up the special order supplies. The employee I started with told me to wait while she went to go find my order. After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes and checking with several other employees who told me to wait as Id already been helped I found out the employee who was helping me went to lunch. When I asked why I wasnt told she had gone to lunch and why another employee didnt take over what she was doing they told me it was my fault! I asked to speak with the manager who was of no help! I returned my entire order and will never spend any of my money there again!Negative service.

This is specifically related to Home Depot delivery service. Ive had to spend hundreds of extra dollars because Home Depot has given me 3 different delivery times. This is all after they were a no-show on the first delivery time. Its concerning that they did not even call after the first delivery window passed without me hearing anything.The delivery was supposed to come at 6-10am and at 9am I called the store and was told that there were no delays.Its very challenging to schedule around a complete lack of communication.

Great place, tons of selection. Ive been here many times and can always find what I need. The staff is very friendly, and they frequently have reps in the building for product thats being sold.

How many stores give away FREE lunch to their customers? Not too many. However, the Tukwila Home Depot did just that over Memorial Weekend. Yes, it may have been only a hotdog and a bottle of water; but it was FREE. Thank you Home Depot for thanking your customers.

Ive had some small woodworking projects I needed supplies for and when I came here I received excellent help and advice considering I only kind of knew what I was doing.They helped me figure out which wood and thickness would be best for my project and tools I had. Helped me cut several pieces to the correct dimension, and were very patient and kind.Even the girl who helped me with a few paint samples was extremely thoughtful with helping me.The day after I began my project I was back since one of my tool bits had broken, another associate helped me not only find a replacement bit, but a few others I didnt even know about that made my project even easier! (Never thought Id be glad something had broken, but I got my project done in half the time!)Ill definitely be back when I have more projects to do!
