A TOTAL disaster. Installer showed up, wrong hardware. Delay till Wednesday. Different installer shows up on Friday, after no call and no show on Wednesday. I called on Wednesday, got a sweet little gal on the phone, who informed me that she was not in charge of scheduling, but she would forward my request. No return call. The Friday installer gave me the willies. The doors were installed, but he left me to attach the exterior hardware, stating, he didn’t have a driver bit for those screws. 71 days later, a spring broke. I called the installer AND the company. The installer answered, but the company number printed on the door is wrong, off by transposed digits. I called again, three weeks later, got the correct number from the installer, who was now self employed, as he’d been let go. I reported the broken spring. Two weeks pass, still no repair scheduled. I call again. Sweet girl takes a message. A week passes, then two. I call again, and I’m told that parts are covered but labor is not, as I didn’t report the broken spring in a timely manner. YIKES !
What a great company! Frank Sanders and his team are phenomenal and they really know how to take care of people. This family has owned this business for a long time in Tulsa and I highly recommend them…
Overhead Doors two guys came out and removed the damaged/dented garage door and installed a new, upgraded one in 2 hours flat. Its got paintable vinyl on either side with insulation in the center that warmed up the garage in an hour after install. It was a helluva job they did, and you could tell how much experience they had by watching them work. 5 star. 👍🏻
WORST customer service weve ever experienced! Lack of communication, lack of accountability on multiple fronts, and ultimately failed to deliver in every way. Absolutely would not recommend if you have any expectation of a pleasant or timely project. It took us weeks just to get someone to answer our call/questions after we initially ordered. Weeks after our door was estimated to be delivered. Then we were told we were the problem by the owner himself after he hid from our calls like a coward. Everyone can understand that delays can be inevitable, but refusing to communicate or update customers so they can plan accordingly is unacceptable. Save yourself from this treatment, not worth it.
Had a spring and a cable go out on my garage door on a Saturday. I gave the emergency number a call and got an estimate. The service tech came out within the hour, fixed the door perfectly, and charged exactly what the estimate was. Great job.
My company always chooses to use Overhead Door at our different locations in the Tulsa area. They are easy to get a hold of and are able to address our needs in a timely manner. Highly recommended!
Fixed and serviced my door in a timely and professional manner. It actually works better than it did before I broke it.
What a great company! They helped me get the parts I needed to fix and insulate my shop doors. Super helpful.
I am the manager of a large apt building close to downtown. I called OVERHEAD DOOR with several issues with our door that opens into our parking garage. Our residents expect the door to be closed at all times except when cars are coming or going, we cannot leave the door open because of the numerous homeless people who roam the area. OVERHEAD DOOR did the work in a timely but very expensive way, I knew they were expensive but I expect the best and normally they are. This time they did not hook the door to the door opener correctly and it came off Friday evening after 5:00. Accidents happen, I understand this, but here is where things really started to go bad. They did not do the job properly yet they wanted emergency overtime rates to come and fix the door they did not fix properly. I called their service manager Monday morning and he stated that is their policy! In other words they do not stand behind their work. They will never darken our overhead door again.
The tech did a great job, but one of the people in the office, Pam was completely unwilling to help. They misplaced my claim information that came from the home warranty and tried to blame it on anyone, but themselves. This caused them to not even call me for two days after I submitted the claim and received confirmation that they were the contractors. I expected them to at least contact my home warranty company to get the information they needed, but no, they just said you have to reschedule. I told them Im not taking another day off of work for this and that Im requesting a different contractor, leaving a complaint and adding a bad review everywhere I can.
Ive used Overhead Door at least two...maybe three times. Their technicians are great people, however i would not jump up and down while recommending this company due to my most recent experience. They came and diagnosed an issue with my opener, ordered a part that was not in stock, and advised it would be one week. I was okay with one week because thats what the technician said needed to happen. Well...someone ordered the wrong part. Now im going to be down for what is likely to be TWO WEEKS. Im not okay with that.Im out at least 5 minutes a day for an additional week manually opening/closing my garage door. Does Overhead Door offer to pay me for my time due to their error as i paid them for theirs???? Nope. I pay full price. What if they order the wrong part again? What if it happens three times?? I pay them for my time? Absurd. These folks are okay all-around. I hate to let the one and only bad experience carry too much weight but still advisable to at least check out other garage repair providers in Tulsa.
These people are incredible. The commerical division guy comes out to quote a door and gives a sample price for one door then when the labor crew is here the price is double just for the door. Then a scissor lift rental fee is NOT included in the price nor is the labor. What kind of overhead door company doesnt own a scissor lift? When I spoke with the gentleman who quoted the price - he stated he just picked that number randomly as an example. Give me a break. Will NEVER do business with this company ever again and encourage all others to steer clear of this company.
This company and their service ratings are way underrated. I called for an emergency commercial 10x10 fix and they showed up early the next day. Two guys fully prepared, fixed the door that was in bad shape within the hour. They charge $135/hr, which is much better than most competitors by far. I shall be repeating business with them for future fixes. Thank you ODC of Tulsa!!
