Ive had nothing but the best of service from frames auto. The knowledge of cars are impeccable. Every employee there is nice professional and caring. They will evaluate your car to the best of their knowledge and tell you whats best for you as far as pricing. Basically theres hard to find a place and environment like frames auto. Bill frame and his team of mechanics are like a needle in a hay stack. Ive recommended this business to family and friends. My entire family has done business with Mr. Frame and will continue to support his business as long as the sign says OPEN.

This shop only does quality work with genuinely factory parts. They never cut corners with off brand parts. The owner Bill Frames either perks on or closely monitors all work that goes on in his shop. Hes old fashioned and believes that the customer comes first. Its always quality work that goes on in hes shop.

Frames Automotive is the most honest & friendly car repair place I have ever been to...truly a rarity in the automotive world. The whole radio/infotainment unit on my Volvo s60 just locked up and wouldnt do anything. Naturally the car was JUST out of warranty, and after terrible dealership experience in the past I was dreading having to return to Volvo to get this fixed. So I called Frames. Bill told me to come there immediately, where he diagnosed the problem, disconnected the battery, and reset the whole system. I was there a total of 30 minutes and he only charged me $60. He is funny, straightforward, and did I mention honest?! The woman who works up front named Melanie was super friendly and a pleasure to talk to during my wait. Service like this restores your faith in man. Seriously, I dont know why youd take your car anywhere else. Highly, super recommended.

Ive been here to Frames Automotive on numerous occasions. I got my tires replaced by them this week, and last year they replaced my clutch cylinders. They do high quality work, theyre friendly, reasonably priced, and they never try to scam you or up-sell you. I wish all Auto shops were as good as Frames.

Bill is a very talented mechanic, but Id make a U-turn before pulling into his shop again.From a functional standpoint, his shop is very good at fixing cars, which should be the goal of every mechanic. However, from a interpersonal and sales perspective his is left wanting. For instance, he was condescending when he noticed that Id attempted to fix the mechanic problem myself. You should leave that to the professionals. Then he became irate when I questioned the price of the replacement part, which was twice the price of the same new part on any site I looked. He almost started yelling when I told him Id consider paying him for the diagnosis and fix it myself. He fixed my squeaky serpentine belt, which is just a matter of turning a bolt, then charged me $20 for it. The squeak came back a few days later. I shelled out over seven hundred dollars at his shop simply because I needed the vehicle running and didnt have time to make appointments elsewhere. Im certain B&M took advantage of that fact.If money is no object, then Bill is your guy. If youd rather have a friendly mechanic who is straight-up about surcharges, go elsewhere.

They take great care of my car and have always been helpful about squeezing me in to their tight schedule. They are honest and do a good job of explaining what is wrong with the vehicle even if you do not know much about the technical stuff. Highly recommend them. They are the only car people I trust.

I cant say enough about Bill and Dave. Brought my car in after being told by another place that I needed a whole new engine. By the time I got to Frames, I was a little frazzled. Bill looked at my truck on the spot, let me know what he thought and fixed it within a day or so (turns out, I did NOT need a new engine). They explained everything to me and were honest about my truck and how much $$ I should put into it before just selling it. They are honest and professional - I found my new car place!

Do not be dissuaded by how far out your appointment might be, because this place is busy for a reason. Bill and crew KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING and are as honest as the day is long! An absolute gem.In reading all of the other 5 star reviews, I think we can all agree that the one non-5 star review by Daniel Hunter is because he is a Putz who wants something for nothing. Additionally, Bill is the most steady and calm guy imaginable and I doubt Daniels story of him yelling at a customer....unless, you know, the customer is a douche like Daniel.

The best mechanic in Northern Virginia hands down. Bill is honest, and his staff are friendly and courteous. We always pay way less than the dealer quotes, and usually what they recommend isnt even necessary once Bill has a look. A real gem:-)

Exceptional, responsive, and honest service made us loyal customers. Wife’s car would not start a few Thursday’s ago and Dave was willing to work us in the following day. Got it jumped that night and took it into a national franchised (tire and) repair business who offered to do a computer diagnostic for a fairly rich fee with no gurantee. Took it to Frame and although Dave must have put hours making sure his initial experienced based assessment was correct, we walked out with a bill a fraction of what it would have been with that other major company. Quality people, quality work. Very professional, and transparent operation. If something can wait, theyre upfront about it. Have been going here for about five years now, and definitely recommend them.An example of this is when we took a 2009 Impala in for a tuneup, and my wife had just scraped and dented it on a parking column wall, when we got it back, they had pushed the dent out, and buffed the scratches... looks awesome.Only complaint is that most things are done by appointment, but I guess thats just a testament to their work, and customer base.

These guys did a great job getting my 2007 Chevy Malibu Maxx up to Virginia safety requirements. Fixed the airbag system and 2 seatbelts and where still about $1000 dollars cheaper than what the dealership quoted me. No nonsense people who know what they are doing.My only complaint would be they dont have the staff to support their workload. One of their employees unexpectedly left while my car was there and it slowed the whole shop down.I will definitely be back if my car needs more work done.

Been going to this personally-owned auto shop for over 15 years. The owner is an expert on cars in general (my parents and I have brought in domestic and foreign vehicles over the years). Im never told I need unnecessary work and I feel confident I can trust their advice. They often push off dealer-recommended maintenance until its required which has delayed expenditures. Staff is super friendly and hard working. Cannot say enough good things. I began going here when I lived in Oakton, but have continued to trek here while living in Arlington and now Loudoun County; its worth the extra drive time.
