I took my XK in to correct transmission issues caused by another repair shop - lesson learned, again, always use the dealership for your Jag. Mike and his team did a great job identifying potential causes for the various malfunctions, identifying least to most intensive corrective measures, and fixing it the first time for a FRACTION of what the other shop had already charged. However, after picking the car up on a particularly stormy evening (Thursday 9/16), I didnt notice until the next evening that I needed to apply extra force to close the drivers side door (something I hadnt noticed while retrieving the car in the rain at night, since ones likely to close the door quickly to get out of the rain). I found that the bottom of the door had been crunched, either while letting the car down on the lift, with the open door resting on something on the way down, or while lifting the car with something between the lift arm and the open door.I took the car back on Monday 9/20 to explain to Mike what had happened. He and his crew said that they couldnt have caused the damage, that swinging the door open into something wasnt possible because of the alignment between the door and the lift machinery. I did explain, and point out, that there was no contact damage to the paint on the outside of the door, and that the door had raised a quarter inch and strikes the door catch now. Its not a case of swinging the door open into something; rather, its a case of applying enough upward pressure at the bottom of the door to bend it out of alignment (and crunch the bottom). I replied that I did not have the car in the air that weekend nor did I have the equipment to push the door up with that amount of force. The car is better than it was, but Im disappointed. The cause of the damage is undeniable; the door is raised a quarter inch and hitting the strike. The bottom edge of the door is notched where contact was made with something between the open door and the lift arm while raising the car, or from something on the floor while lowering the car with the door open. There is no outer door contact damage; neither I nor the shop swung the door open into something, this was done while lifting or lowering the car with the door open. I do not have the equipment, the reason, or the time over the weekend to use enough force to bend the door hinges up (and crunch the door). The last two photos wont render on the Jag website; theyre no larger than the other photos. I thought maybe it was the text I inserted, but no. The photos simply show the notch at the bottom of the door, and no outer contact damage to the paint other than cracking due to bending metal. See them on Yelp.
I’m in the market for a new Jaguar F-Pace. I called and spoke to a sales rep and was told that since I was out of town(Richmond, VA), I couldn’t purchase a car from that dealership. With the shortage of cars already, you’d think they’d be happy to have someone purchase a car, especially in this climate. Crazy right? I guess it just means my money will be happily accepted somewhere else by another dealership. Your loss, Jaguar Tysons Corner. Your loss.
Advertising damaged cars.We were going to purchase a 2018 Jaguar F-pace S from this dealership. We were dealing with the sales manager Andy Moshrefi. The car was advertised at $43,531.00. During the test drive we noticed the sunroof was cracked the entire width of the glass. We were prepared to buy the car for asking price of $43,531.00, but asked that they replace the cracked sunroof. Originally they wanted to split the cost with us. $750.00 for us additional to the cost of the car, they would pay $750.00.Now they are telling me that the cost of the car would be an additional $1,450.00 if they fixed the sunroof. What kind of company is this advertising a car with damage and not willing to repair it and sell it for the advertised price?
Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had a dealership. It’s laughable that a luxury car brand treats its customers like this. You can’t get a straight answer out of this group, if they give you a date, Do. Not. Trust. It. They will literally force you to micro manage them. It took multiple phone calls to ensure they started a simple inspection, 2 days after it was promised to be finished. The whole experience came across disrespectful and was truly, truly, awful.
Had a great experience purchasing my new vehicle, staff very helpful and pleasant.
Albert was absolutely on point! He was knowledgeable, efficient and most importantly .. he had me in and out in less than an hour! Outstanding service
Easiest car purchase Ive ever made and Im old.
What a day! Gavin and Nassir made the buying process a breeze! My husband and I went home with my Valentine’s Day gift in a few hours. Service 5 stars! Please ask for Gavin when you go to the dealership, he’s not pushy, very respectful and goes all the way for his customers.Top kudos!!!
This is my second purchase of a Jaguar from this dealership. KZ Zangeneh was my Sales Consultant and I must say that he went “Above and Beyond” to get me the Jaguar of choice. Due to COVID, inventory of vehicles is limited; however, KZ actually exceeded my expectations. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my F-Type. The entire experience from beginning to me driving away in my new vehicle was pretty seamless, even with the construction of the new dealership. I appreciate KZ and the service he provided, as well as the service provided by all of the other Jaguar Tysons staff I came into contact with. KZ will be my Sales Consultant on my next Jag......
Michael from the service department understands executive level customer service. There was a miscommunication with my service for my vehicle. Minimal time was wasted with Michael resolving my issue. Needless to say I was not having a great day to start, but Michael took care of me and I’m looking forward to my next service.
Nice selection of Jaguars, obviously. Jaguars are nice and smooth run cars and they are powerful.Though there are several flaws, such as high service cost, sharp depreciation, and low reliability, however, they are eye catching.I have been there a few months ago. A nice salesman, Roberto, help me and I did test drive a powerful sedan. He was helpful and informative. The dealership was clean and well arranged. For some personal reason, I ended up to postpone my car purchase for this year, and not follow up.So, why 3 stars?I did not like the gesture of the dealership. Not only the majority of the sales staff, but also administrative staff and even store service employees are evaluating the entered costumers. That means, they look at you quickly, to see if you seem rich enough or not.If you failed their well-to-do evaluation, well, you may ended up loitering there without anyone be close to you and ask you what do you want???
My service advisor was wonderful!I would highly recommend Rosenthal Jaguar and their service!!
I visited this dealership two days ago in search for a XE R-Dynamic. I spoke with an older sales rep who told me they did not have any available, and he asked if there was anything else I needed...almost in a dismissive way. I then asked for information on the car. His was response was what kind of information?. Umm, the specs and price, perhaps?! He then asked me what I wanted in the vehicle, conducted a search online, and told me there were no vehicles with the specifications that I wanted available anywhere, and I would have to order one online. He didnt ask if I was open to any other options, or tried to assist any further. I had to ask if I could see another model, and when he showed me, he only let me get inside, that was it. He didnt ask if I wanted to see how it drives, he didnt even turn the car on! Wth am I supposed to be looking at, the design?? He did the same thing when I inquired about a different model. At that point I was completely turned off, and decided to go up the street to Audi, who gave me the customer service Im used to receiving.Btw, I looked online again for the trim that I want, and they DO have one available at this location! Maybe he thought because Im young and African American that I cant afford anything there. Not at all the customer service I was expecting to receive...completely turned me off from wanting a Jaguar at all.
If I could give them O stars, I would. Absolutely NO courtesy, consideration, or human decency for their potential customers. After working for several days with a sales consultant via phone and informing him that I was travelling from 4 hours away to get a specific vehicle, I get there (before the time I told him I would be there) and he informs me that he sold the vehicle 30 minutes prior to my arrival!!! Ultimately, I realize they are nothing but salesmen, but how about a little integrity and doing the right thing? No phone call, NOTHING!! I thought he was joking when I got there and he told me he sold it. Sharing so others steer clear of this place if you want to do business with someone respectable and courteous.
Great service all around. Both for my Range Rover and Jaguar F-Type.
Absolutely do not get the Prepaid Maintenance plan. Pay as you go. If you have 3 years on the contract and sell your car with 1.5 year left. They WILL NOT REFUND even when your salesman said they will when you get the car. JUST DONT!!!
Michael M. provided great service as well as being very professional and efficient.
Michael was my service advisor and did an outstanding job in explaining my options. He was professional and friendly and answered all of my service related questions.
My service advisor Michael Mancinho was absolutely teriffic. He kept me updated on the progress of my repairs, followed thru on every item and the car was done on time and ready and waiting, not to mention clean as the day I purchased it when I picked it up. What more could one ask!!!
My first Land Rover, Andy and Patrick made everything simple, fair, and fast! Will most certainly continue to come back here for years to come! Thank you!
I was recently overdue for an oil change on my XKR and didnt want to schedule an appointment. I called around and was reminded of what it means to get service on your Jag in this area: you cant get an advisor on the phone, their pricing is outrageous and youd have to wait days or weeks...just for an oil change. After giving up on Bethesda and Annapolis, I called Rosenthal and spoke with Joe Simoles. He advised me to come after lunch, so as to not have my time wasted waiting while the techs were at lunch.I arrived at the agreed time, he processed me quickly and I hung around and waited. A while later, he came over and informed me of services needed on the car and told me I was ready to go. No pressure and no drama.I had just hand washed the car myself a day or two ago and the car is garage-kept so I didnt think it needed to be washed. Woah was I shocked to find the car was CLEANER than how I brought it in.I thank Joe S. for his expertise and experience. Hes definitely THE guy to see for Jaguar service needs in the area. Im looking forward to my wallet flush service in due time 😅
Service is fine; it’s never stellar, but absolutely shocked at the lack of PPE that employees wear in the facility. Service desk reception and cashier desk employees are largely not wearing masks. They’re partially behind plexiglass panels, but they won’t even put on masks when walking through the common areas of the waiting room.
Rosenthal Jaguar in Tysons Corner is the worst! My husband and I had a very terrible experience with them. They was the first and last ones to put a oil change in our 04 Jaguar XJ8. The car started acting slow driving on a busy road. The gears could not move, it was stuck in park. Then my husband got out the car to see what was going on outside the car. Tan oil started to rush out the car heavy. We are so happy and bless that nothing happen to us we called the car shop the lady gave us a hard time. She was defending her team like it wasnt their fault. She was trying to charge us just for looking at it and to fix what they did wrong and on top of that she wanted to charge us for their towing company to come and take our car to their shop. We will never come back to them.
I this dealership to purchase the F-Pace. After touring your lot, we identified a midnight blue F-Pace that we were interested in purchasing. Upon entering your showroom, we were greeted by a female sales associate who spoke with an accent. She started the conversation with us by saying, That is a new car if youre looking for a used car that is not it. As you can imagine, we were somewhat taken back by this comment since at no time did we indicated that we were interested in a used car. After that, she asks if we just wanted to look at the vehicle or test drive. After suggesting that we wanted to do both she than retrieved the keys and took us for a test drive. During this drive, she could not answer seemingly basic questions about the vehicle. While this was still off-putting, we remain interested in purchasing the car. When we arrived back at the dealership, we asked her to show us numbers for leasing the vehicle with a $10K down payment. She indicated that all the financing options was on the website, and we should check there. We pressed her more to discuss options with us while we were there since we wanted to move forward. She then stated that she would text us the numbers and if we had any questions reach back out to her. As you can imagine, we never received the text. I found this entire experience very disheartening. Its my opinion she profiled us as a young African American couple that could not afford this vehicle.I would also shared I reached out to a Manager that day and sent a follow-up e-mail on 8.7.19 prior to sharing this experience on this platform.
I got my RR from Rosenthal and have been getting it serviced here. It is an overall a very good dealer. For the last few years, I can only really speak to the service aspect, which I would rate excellent. They are attentive, call you back with updates when they promise, and candid. Recently, Jennifer and Jack told me not to perform something prematurely until it starts to create an issue. I like that honesty, rather than trying to push all sorts of repairs on me. Jack left to run a Porsche dealer and am glad he is back. He was great before and he is great now. Offers up cell number and is available on weekends on cell, not that I would want to abuse that. And most recently, I had travel issues so I had the loaner car about 1.5 to 2 days longer and that was not a problem. All in all, they want to get your car fixed and not necessarily take you to the cleaners and back on the road as soon as possible. Cant say that about all high-end foreign car dealers in this area. Recommend Jack and Jennifer for sure.
My wife and I just bought a used car from Rosenthal Jaguar and had a wonderful experience. Our salesman, Gavin, was great. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful, which are pretty rare qualities to find in a Northern Virginia dealership. We ended up buying a used Honda and were still treated just like we were buying a brand new Jag. The car we bought was in amazing shape. You can tell they only sell quality cars. The whole experience went quickly with no fuss. We will definitely be buying from Rosenthal again and highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a car.
This is the 4th car Ive bought out of state in the last couple years, second from VA.Based on this experience, i will tell you to beware buying from these guys out of state. They were unable to process our tags prior to the expiration date of the temp tags. They repeatedly gave me information in the run up to the expiration that turned out to be untrue, ultimately leaving me with expired plates, so i could not drive the car. Then they told me to come get my permanent plates - 2 hours away - on expired tags.Seriously unbelievable - never got the same information twice and in the end I had to pay for them to send them. Wonder if they will show up?
Great selection of vehicles and I will get my new Range Rover from them.
My experience at Rosenthal Jaguar was top notch. My salesperson was very well informed on the vehicle that I was interested in, for my son. His disposition was perfect for my personality as he was not overly pushy. I spoke with the Manager who was also great to work with. Every encounter I had at the dealership was stellar. This was the easiest car purchase experience that I have had in quite some time.
Terrible customer service from Andy.
Seems -ve reviews are removed. Absolutely endorse the brand JLR however detest the dealership. Service team is incompetent
Love the Car but the establishment is shady, be careful with financing and them holding points -
I had a wonderful experience with Craig Faunce as my rep. He was very pleasant and forthcoming. He provided exceptional customer service and answered every question I had. He was honest and trustworthy -- not what you would expect from a car salesman -- but he really took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the purchase even when he was not in the office. His partner James Duncan was awesome too. I highly recommend these folks and it is not easy for me to say that about anyone.
I am a car enthusiast and a frequent car-buyer. I have had year-after-year of experiences with various car dealers, sales staff, and service departments. I highly recommend Rosenthal Jaguar and James Duncan hands down as the go-to for sales. James will go out of his way to make sure you are happy and make sure you feel comfortable with the purchase you are making. He puts the customer in front of his own personal and professional motivations and builds a trusting relationship that you wont find in other dealerships - where you are typically treated as just another #.Additionally, the car-purchasing process that Rosenthal Jaguar has in place, is by far the most efficient and effective Ive experienced from any dealership Ive worked with including their service department, from the interaction, the timeliness, and the quality of service, this dealership has it all - People, Process, and Product!Make sure to ask for James if you are in the market for a new or used car. He has been in the DC area for years, and he is one of the only people I trust in the Land Rover and Jaguar market space in the DC area. I promise you wont regret it.Happy car buying!
My husband and I just purchased a vehicle from this dealership. Our car buying experience was wonderful, I would recommend this dealership to anyone. When visiting, Mr. CC Sloan is the man to see. He was very knowledgeable about the car, and worked very closely with us from beginning to end. He made us feel very welcomed, and went out of his way to help us with our car purchase. The other staff members were also inviting and very friendly. My husband and I will never forget this experience, and we love our new XJL
There are NINE Jaguar dealers closer to me, but I skip them all to do business with Rosenthal of Tysons Corner. My thanks to Mike Blackburn and the entire team for helping my wife purchase a F-Pace S. Everything from order entry to hand over was smooth and easy. The Service Dept did an excellent job of prepping the the car on short notice so she could take the car on a planned trip. Mike was extremely helpful with the initial setup and getting her oriented to the car. The F-Pace itself is outstanding and the perfect stable mate for my F-Type S -- also purchased from Rosenthal with Mikes help. And, if I decide I need to upgrade to an R, youll be hearing from me again. Thanks to all!
Stay far away from them. They ripped us off on service! Charged us tremendously inflated prices on parts!!!
This dealership has the worse customer service, they have taken me into a circling process without even the intention of helping. Eugene, answers the Service phone, she did everything possible to divert my questions, and simply try to bring my car in, even though I had clearly stated that my key battery is not programmed and I could not bring the car (since I cant even use the key fob without the programing). I therefore needed assistance with the key-programing process. Extremely rude and uncooperative!!! she said she would provide a name of a facility and even though I was waiting for her to provide that facilitys name, she kept trying to get me to bring in the car.
My Wife and I bought a car from Roberto and we would 10/10 recommend anyone coming to the dealer to ask for him. There were a few items that needed to be taken care of on the used vehicle, and Roberto has always been in communication and responding to my texts immediately. The staff and managers were also amazingly accommodating! For anyone whos bought a car before knows it can be a lengthy process. My wife was getting hungry and the manager even went and gotten food for her while we wait! I will be coming back for another vehicle when the time comes! Thank you Roberto and Rosenthal team!
Nervously purchased a used vehicle on line as I live in Houston, TX. Never before have I purchased a vehicle without seeing it in person and test driving it. I worked directly with Mike Blackburn. Mike reassured me of the vehicle and the superior condition of it and kept me appraised of the process, even calling me on his day off. Found Mike to be very knowledgeable and hands-on. He was even involved with my lender and helped to arrange the shipping of the vehicle. Kudos to Mike and Rosenthal Jaguar /Land Rover. If the opportunity presented itself to do business with them again, I wouldnt hesitate. Class A dealership and personnel. Thank you.
I’ve had a total of three great purchases from mike puluh and great customers service from the manager, Thanh ( Tom) . I highly recommend these two gentlemen for your next purchase.
Service provided by Craig Faunce was second to none. My husband and I were looking for a new car to buy and we started the search online. We immediately got a call from Craig who stayed in touch and helped us find the car of our dreams. Craig is a keeper and we would like to share our heartfelt appreciation with him. THANK YOU!
My husband chose to surprise me with a 2016 Range Rover Sport. I was completely overwhelmed and amazed by the effort and care demonstrated by our Sales Consultant, Andy Moshrefi. Andy helped to create an exciting, unforgettable moment for my husband and I. Even more surprising, my husband describes his experience with Andy (and also the gentleman from the Finance Dept.) as one of the easiest, most enjoyable business transactions hes encountered! Thank you again and again to Andy and the Rosenthal Land Rover team. Your efforts are much appreciated!
Craig Faunce is one of the singularly most responsive, attentive and honest sales person I have ever run across in any industry. He gave me good advice, offered an honest price and communicated with me throughout the entire process. For me, its the challenging issues that define a good or bad customer service experience. During my dealings with Craig we encountered one of those issues. He stayed on top of it, communicated with me constantly and made every effort to make sure I was happy. He couldnt have handled the issue better and I sincerely appreciate his involvement. As long as I own a Land Rover, Craig will be my sales person.
Craig Faunce is amazing! Drove from Richmond to Tysons Corner to see a Honda that was online. I was purchasing the least expensive car on the lot and was treated as if I was buying the most expensive. Everyone was very friendly, Craig was awesome .. the experience was the best. The 2007 Honda was in perfect condition - couldnt have been happier. Will definitely keep them in mind when I need to purchase my next vehicle. Thank you so much for everything.
Reda thank you for the excellent customer service you provided to my husband and I on yesterday. Im enjoying my new Land Rover. I will definitely be sending my friends and associates your way. Thanks again.Best Regards,Elizabeth Bradshaw
Jerome Cabbagestalk always gives me excellent service each time I visit the dealership, even if I am there for service only. My Jaguars have all been bought from him and I will continue to do so because of his excellent service. He always has time to help his customers. Jaguar service is excellent they always get it right the first time Jack Wang, Service Director takes very good care of my service needs, service advisers also give excellent service.
I bought my first Range Rover and I am thrilled! My experience from beginning to end was effortless and enjoyable! KZ was outstanding in his service and knowledge. He is a true professional and his ability to role with ambiguity is an asset.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went in to purchase a used Lexus truck that Rosenthal Land Rover had listed online on my credit unions True Car website. When I came to see the truck I noticed the rear bumper had been painted, and was completely discolored from the rest of the truck. I was assured by the salesman Andy, and also the used car manager Shawn, that the paint work on the bumper could be corrected. I informed Andy that I would be on vacation, and he once again assured me the issue would be resolved once I came back to purchase the truck. The day after I returned from my trip my husband and I got several calls from Andy stating the truck was ready and we had to come and purchase it that day. I was very annoyed. I had just come off a 9 hour flight the day before, and only to get to the dealership, after being pretty much harassed to come in, and find the rear bumper was still not properly fixed. when I addressed this issue to Andy he got very nasty, gave me back my deposit and told me I did not need to but the truck he had someone coming the next day to purchase it. Two weeks later the truck is still listed online with the price reduced cheaper than what I had agreed to pay. And this trucks says it has a clean carfax, with is almost impossible with that type of rear bumper damage.
Got my Jaguar here and paid a good price - not much competition since Rosenthal owns Chantilly too. Service department has been excellent and Id go there specifically for scheduled maintenance and warranty work even if I didnt get it here.
Rosenthal Jaguar in Tysons Corner was a great experience from start to finish. Gavin, one of their sales reps, took great care of my family and Shawn, one of the managers, was easy to work with to come to a deal. Tyler was quick and easy with the financing and made sure we were in and out quickly.
We bought a used Range Rover Sport from them sight unseen. The salesman told us it was such a clean SUV they had it sitting on their showroom floor. Despite our concern for buying it out of state and without seeing it, we trusted the salesman and wired them our money. A week later it showed up and it had the WORST cat pee smell I’ve ever smelled. Not only that, we found cat food all through the trunk and under the seats. It was absolutely terrible. We then spent several hundred dollars trying to iradicate the smell, but there was no getting rid of it:( To make matters worse, the detail shop show us several glaring issues with the paint. I took it to a personal friend of mine who paints high end cars and he pointed out about $4500 worth of paint work it needed. The flaws were unbelievable and I took pics of everything!! I called the sales manager and within minutes he hung up on me, and I honestly wasn’t even being rude or irrational, he just wouldn’t believe my story. After days of getting no where I finally asked to speak with the owner and they got me with the GM of the store. They agreed to refund my money for the car, I assumed that was all money I was out including shipping, insurance, tax, the detail shop, and the vehicle itself. I was rudely mistaken and was out $3,000 with no vehicle and feeling violated for how bad we were treated. I wouldn’t give these guys a penny. Buyer beware!
I recently purchased a new vehicle from Rosenthal Jaguar and it was one of the easiest car buying experiences Ive ever had. Jerome Cabbagestalk, the salesperson who assisted me, was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and spent a great amount of time answering all my questions. Overall, he was very accommodating and went out of his way to help me through this process.
Been trying to reach a manager here for 2 months. Filed BBB claim and they didn’t respond. I bought a 2015 Mercedes CLA 250 67k miles here. Bought an extended warranty. 5 months later the car engine has a broken piston. Warranty says it’s a preexisiting issue. The was the dealer is avoiding me I suspect they knew it had serious problems. And now I’m out of 18k. Buyers BEWARE!!!! Gavin was my salesperson. He was disrespectful in the buying process but I figure I just wanted this car so I accepted it. Big mistake.
Jerome helps me through the process of selecting and ordering my first Range Rover. He is extremely professional and very knowledgeable. It was a very easy process and the car was delivered on schedule. Thank you Jerome
Bought a car from Danny. Could not be happier! Had a couple small issues, but as promised, he handled all of them. Great customer service, and I LOVE my car!
Awesome place and great people. The salesmen are not to pushy which is a plus. I feel great about taking my vehicle here for maintenance.
Jerome Cabbagestalk was an incredible salesperson and liaison to Rosenthal Jaguar. His knowledge, expertise and follow up were only surpassed by his extremely pleasant personality. Thank you so much for making my car purchase experience seamless and fun. Dr. Goldman
I would say Rosenthal Jaguar Land Rover is the best dealership in Northern Virginia. Success isnt always about greatness. Its about consistency. Consistent teamwork leads to success. Then greatness will come. The group at Rosenthal from Shawn the GSM, Tyler in Finance, and Andy in Sales have uncovered the secret sauce. Everyone went well beyond in making sure I got what I wanted. They listened, provided feedback, and made the process painless. The whole process was quick and professional. I would highly recommend this group to anyone looking to purchasing a Jaguar or LandRover.
Everyone there is so. Helpful
Reda, the salesman, & Craig, his manager, were awesome to work with. While I ended up not purchasing a vehicle due to personal issues, the experience with those two ensures Ill keep them in mind for future vehicle purchases.
I purchased (on August 18, 2017) a previously owned Chevy Z-71 Silverado from Rosenthal...the transaction was pleasant, smooth and exactly as I had hoped it would be. The sales man was very good, sales manager was the same and the finance people actually got me a better rate than the Credit Union that I am a member in. So I give them an A+
As a first time customer, my experience with Rosenthal Jaguar Tysons has been abysmal - both from a customer service point of view and from a mechanical repair perspective. Definitely not what I expected from what appeared to be a top shelf auto dealership in the competitive Tysons area.I brought my 2005 Jaguar S-Type in October 6, 2015 for some repairs. On October 8, 2015, I returned to pick up the car only to find out that the repair had not been properly done. It was as if the car had not been touched at all. I explained that to the Service Manager who acknowledged the problem with the repair, apologized and promised to make things right. I left the car at Rosenthal Jaguar so this corrective action could be done.Since that October 8, 2015 date, I have not heard a word from Rosenthal Jaguar on the status of this corrective repair. My calls and Voice Mails directly to the Service have gone unanswered. On November 4, 2015, I escalated this concern to both the Rosenthal Jaguar Service Director and the General Manager via certified letter. Again - no response received even after this escalation.More than a month has gone by since this episode and, as much as I would like my car back, I am growing skeptical that this dealership will be able to solve the problem. Their non-responsiveness to my reasonable inquiries for status is truly alarming and inexcusable. It certainly gives me pause in considering the purchase of any Jaguar product in the future.
Mike Blackburn is the best! I contacted him via email about a particular LR. Within 2 hours I had not only the generic response from the dealership, but also a detailed response from Mike. In addition, unlike other dealers, Mike did not hound me once I reached out to him. Instead, he let me take my time, investigate some other options, and approach him on my own time. Once I decided to go see the LR, he was patient, honest, and willing to negotiate. He even came out to our car in the parking lot to discuss everything because I didnt want to wake my 14 week old infant.I cant say enough wonderful things! After we purchased the LR, Mike introduced us to the service dept, the loaner dept, etc. Then he personally set up my Bluetooth for my phone, showed me how to set my radio stations, and how to put the LR in sport mode :-)Best experience ever! Thank you Mike! Youre the best!!New LR owner,Amanda
Came in for a software update appointment only to be told they didnt have the software or the proper technician to install it. Love the car, but the service center needs to up their game.
Ask for Mike Paluh; I am giving 5 stars for Mikes customer service and hospitality.I originally inquired about a Range Rover Velar and then eventually moved towards a RR Sport. Andy contacted me, but it felt hard to get information from him from the start so I decided to go in and look on my own. I showed up at the dealership and met Mike, but was told I needed to continue to work with Andy.I sent Andy a build of the car from the Land Rover website with my ideal build and described what I was willing to pass on for options. He told me they were then trying to acquire a vehicle similar to what I was looking for, but would not give me any details about it until they got the approval. Upon approval, he sent me the info and it had none of the options I wanted except for the color, which I has said was not required leading me to believe he didnt read my email at all. So, I told him I was passing altogether.I showed up at the dealership again and pulled Mike aside and told him I wanted to work with him instead. I couldnt be happier with working with Mike. After testing driving a couple Sports (HSE and HST) with him, he let us look through what was available in the area and I applaud him for his patience as we did end up keeping him a little late. I found a Sport that I loved; my only complaint is that JLR Tysons overnighted it from another dealership to get it in the quarterly business, and the cost of the overnight (instead of standard shipping) was passed onto me.Regardless, when I went to pick it up Mike was incredible with his customer service even picking me up from another dealership when I sold my car elsewhere, bringing me back to JLR, and staying well past closing to get me acquainted. He thanked me with genuine emotion for coming back and working with him. Thank you, Mike!
I have a terrible experience at the service department they are bunch of liar my advice is that you make sure you record what ever you discuss to them about the issue of your car or they will tell you terrific lies in other not to get blamed for there damages will never come close to that facility again in my life.VERY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE SUPERVISOR IS ALSO VERY RUDE!
On our third Jaguar from Rosenthal and Craig Faunce. He is great to work with and has the best deals (and inventory) on Jags. Also, has a ton of knowledge on the company and all that they have to offer. Craig is great to work with and I hope to buy my next car from him again!
Craig was very helpful and even came in on his day off to help up complete the necessary paperwork so we could drive. Tyler was also instrumental in helping us expedite the registration process. Thank you both!
Had a rude experience with the assistant sales manager Griffin. 1 Star.
Very poor experience with this dishonest dealership. They took a $1,000 deposit on a car they said was mine and the manager, Mohammed, left a cryptic unapologetic voicemail about selling the car to someone else despite taking my deposit and charging my card. He was extremely unprofessional and lacked even basic courtesy. Would AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS GIVEN THEIR DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES. I am very surprised as I’ve owned several Range Rovers and have never encountered a Land Rover dealership that is this disorganized.
Just brought a used Jaguar Xj from them, never again... We had finally negotiated with repairing phyiscal damage on panels, prior to purchase. GOD threw me signs not to purchase... First time car panels painted wrong color (off black, presented to me this way)... second time they washed the car prior to the paint being dry, apparently painting the vehicle around back..... but the paint did look good after buffing. Had the car for about a month now, painting is chipping.... So took it to a professional and they stated they just painted over the old paint $1200 in paint work for a recent vehicle purchase. Also, the battery was slowly dieing on the vehicle and had to be replaced under warranty as certain functions of the car had stopped working. Glad this is not my daily as surely this vehicle will not be reliable. Shady jaguar dealership. Do not recommend.
This was our first time using this dealership and I cannot say enough about our experience thanks to Craig Faunce. We were shopping for a used car with a specific price in mind after our truck was recently totaled in an accident. Dealing with insurance and coming to a settlement was an absolute nightmare, but Craig was beyond patient and helpful through it all and we cannot thank him enough. Anyone else would have written us off way before after all the time it took to get things straightened out, but Craig continued to follow up and work with us through it all. We are now proud new owners of our first Range Rover and will highly recommend the dealership and of course Craig to anyone in the market!
We have been going to Rosenthal specifically because of Kevin Dooley, a stellar service advisor we met when we moved here four years ago with an older model Range Rover. We specifically purchased a second Range Rover because of the service we received from Kevin. Kevin is responsive (an understatement), detail oriented, polite, organized, honest and fair. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with him and are considering a third Range Rover because of the excellent experiences we have had at Rosenthal.
I bought my first Range Rover in 2006 and have been working with Jerome ever since. He is extremely professional and honest. He never comes across as trying to upsell me in any fashion. He is always looking out for my best interests and in December he got me into a new vehicle that I am extremely satisfied with. I will continue to do business with Rosenthal as long as I am in the market for Land Rover vehicles.
Great service and selection. I went to get service done on my car, it was a seamless process. Loved it.
What a wonderful buying experience! My new Range Rover was worth the wait! Jerome Cabbagestalk was always available for my questions during the purchasing process. When I picked the car up a few days ago, Jerome spent an amazing amount of time explaining each and every feature including programming several personal settings. I havent needed the manual as his instruction was so excellent! The General manager, Roger Wildermuth, is the best general manager I have ever met!!! Thanks to you both for all you did for me!
Two years ago, Roger Wildermuth, the General Manager, could not have taken better care of us and Mike Blackburn was equally helpful and eager to please. Roberto was so fun even though he talked me into buying the 2012 LR4 (rather than the 2011!). They were patient with all my questions (in person and via e-mail and phone) and were pro-active in finding me a vehicle with the exact specs I was looking for. They worked with me on my trade-in and gave me a great price.Today, almost two years later, I can now speak for their service department and have never, ever had better service than here at Rosenthal. I owned an LR3 for many years before this current LR4 and have been to a lot of services centers, big and small. Rosenthal had great folks who went out of their way to get the car in tip top shape and even got the car cleaned up for me when I picked it up. Its a little farther for us to get to than Alexandria but for us, its worth the extra drive out to Tysons. The folks there are now consider our family friends. We totally trust them and wouldnt go to anyone else.I fully recommend purchasing a vehicle here! I honestly have never had a better experience buying a car...ever.
I cannot express how happy I am with Rosenthal Jaguar and Craig Faunce. He made this the best buying experience Ive ever had.I spent weeks looking for the right car and going from dealer to dealer, most of which just pushed me for a sale. Craig actually listened to me and worked with me to not only find options for my trade in, but also to get me a deal I was happy with on my new car. He went above and beyond what any other salesman has ever done for me, and I couldnt be happier with my buying experience. No pressure, no gimmicks, just great service.
Colin Unterkofler met me at my office to provide Encore Delivery Service for my new LR4. Its such a great service and he did an excellent job. Hes very knowledgeable about all the LR4 technology and bells and whistles and he was very professional.
Ive been here a while back. I am leveling up in my career and was planning for a base level Jaguar for the love towards the brand, design and drive experience. It was the most unpleasant experience during my car search, the 20 minutes I was at this place. The sales guy had literally interviewed me with questions like what my role was at my company, if I wanted to buy the car in the next 3 or 5 years and many similar ones. He even asked me to show which car I drove in. I was pissed off when he gave me a brochure and said Good luck with my plans when I was interested in test driving the car and was seriously considering purchasing the car. When I expressed my displeasure and was willing to report his unwelcoming behavior, he gave me a car for test drive and left even before I was trying to know more about the car. I left the place in a few minutes, couldnt take the unbelievable hostility. I purchased a Mazda sometime later and am happy with it. But I could have been driving my dream car now if Rosenthal Jaguar had been more welcoming.
Great experience with the sales staff this past Saturday. Everyone was excellent, friendly, and helpful. Go see Colin for a new Jaguar!
Its amazing how you can go to a dealership and buy a $100k car and then the dealership neglect you afterwards. My family was promised a replacement panel and now Rosenthal Jaguar is giving the run around to get the part to us.What happened to the days of amazing customer service? Clearly they just believe their customers are only a check and not a lifetime part of the organization. I would never recommend them to anyone... Not that I like at least.
I went to Rosenthal Jaguar/Landrover to check out a used BMW. My experience was fantastic. JD went above and beyond to make my purchase an easy and painless experience.
Ive bought three Jags from Gavin at Rosenthal Jaguar over the last 10 years. I have always been treated with respect and have felt like a valued customer. All of my transactions have been friendly and smooth - no problems; no hassles.I also have always had my Jags serviced here. Yu-jin in service has always been extremely helpful and fair. The work has been done well, and is reasonably priced.I have recommended the dealership to friends and family.
After an extensive used car search, I discovered a Chevy Malibu that I was interested in. I called the dealership to obtain additional info on the vehicle & associated fees. The professional I spoke with was Jerome Cabbagestalk. I visited the dealership & Jerome was there to assist me further. In about an hour, we had a fair deal that I felt comfortable with. Jerome was upfront & honest which enhanced my car buying experience. I retrieved the car the next day & Jerome was there making sure everything was ok. My car had been cleaned and all agreements were honored. Will definitely recommend him to my friends.
Craig Faunce sold me a good car at a good price. I spent two months shopping, and mustve looked at 30 maintenance reports and a dozen used Jaguars before buying it, and there were no better deals available from any dealers within 60 miles for that model. There were many deals that looked better on paper, but didnt pan out on close inspection of the car. Many other dealers tried to sell me cars with mechanical or electrical problems, or with sketchy histories. Not surprisingly, the dealer with the best warranty (Rosenthal) had the best car.Ive had the car for two months now, and Im very happy with it, and I havent had any unpleasant surprises. (I was a little unhappy with the service department, who said they would buff a few particular light scratches that I pointed out, and did not. But they did a great job detailing the car.)Well, I did have one unpleasant surprise, due to my own forgetfulness. I bought magnetic panels to protect the doors from dings in parking lots. They didnt stick, because the door panels are aluminum! If you think you might buy a car from Rosenthal, or any other dealer, ask about options such as warranty, clearcoat, theft-prevention devices, etc., before you go in to finalize the deal, because its difficult to make a decision about all of those things while buying a car.(BTW, I said Appeal: Excellent, but I dont know what Appeal is supposed to mean... Sounds like something Id care about at a restaurant.)
CRAIG FAUNCE!!!!! He is the very best car salesman I have ever met. I purchased my car while I was oversea and Craig took care of everything. He even picked me up from the airport when I came in country! He represents the best service a customer could ever have.Mr. Hines
In 2010, my wife and I leased a Jaguar XF from Rosenthal and were happy with the experience. We returned and worked with Michael on a new lease. Michael was a pleasure to work with and all the details we discussed via email were accurate once we arrived to close the deal. We even ended up getting a better lease on a 2013 XJ once we were at the dealership. We live in Richmond, VA, and have only experienced the sales department.
Terrible customer service in the service department. Attempted to contact manager directly, never received a response. Definitely would not recommend.
This is the 4th vehicle that I have purchased from Rosenthal and I have enjoyed the process every time. I am always treated like a valuable customer, my service advisor Kevin Dooley is amazing and my sales person, CC Sloan is top notch. I am a customer for life.
Third visit in almost a year for The Same issue--Coolant Level (low)warning. Back again today so I decided to write since THEY refuse to listen. Second visit, the techs ripped the intake hose for the air filter, tried to repair it (see photo) and NEVER reported the issue/repair! The customer wont notice they must have thought. Sloppy techs, irresponsible management.
I normally dread going through the car buying purchase however this time was so much different from other experiences. My fiance and I had the pleasure working with Jerome Cabbagestalk who was extremely accommodating to our circumstance, I just had our son less than a week prior to our purchase. Jerome was extremely professional and made the process seamless, every concern and question we had he addressed. We were looking for a SUV to get us through DCs unpredictable weather and with a newborn and his job being on call even during blizzard conditions it was imperative we have something reliable which is why we decided on a Land Rover, the best decision we made.
I Had gone to buy a xf which was on a deal online. I did not buy the car as I guess I wanted a suv. But, this dealership is the only one that I have seen that stands behind their prices. They were willing to give the car for that special price and did not say that one is already sold. I will definitely be back for either a jag or a range rover.
One of the better experiences Ive had at a car dealership. I was buying a used Audi they had taken in trade. Once they realized I wasnt a dummy and that my advisor/son knew what he was talking about, things went pretty smoothly. Jerome Cabbagestalk was quite the gentleman and did his best to make the transaction go quickly. They also did not run my credit report thru10 different lenders like another dealership did.
Excellent customer service, quickly solved my issues and had my vehicle back in 1 day.
Im enjoying my second Jaguar from Rosenthal Jaguar. Part of my enjoyment is tied directly to Mike Blackburn, who I know I can completely rely on to listen to what Im interested in, to respect my time, and to deliver a solid and reasonable deal. The service team has consistently delivered over the years with special recognition to Ju Uyn, Joe, and Luis! Thanks to the Rosenthal team!
My wife and I were shopping for a new Evoque and came across an option at this dealership. I worked with Michael Blackburn over a 2 day period and he was excellent. He was always responsive with my multiple calls/texts and still helping even after purchasing the car over a year ago! He worked with me and the sales manager to get the monthly payment to where we needed it and was a pleasure to deal with the entire time. Buying a car is not always an enjoyable experience, but Michael was nice, respectful and on point. If you are looking to buy a vehicle at Range Rover in Tysons, I cannot recommend him enough!
Kevin Dooley provides exceptional service. He has always been available, flexible, and courteous. Great Job!
