My experience at My Eyelab was extremely unpleasant. Their sales associate Daphne Rivera was very unprofessional during my visit. I was talking to a sales associate about an eye concern from my previous visit, and Daphne inserted herself into our conversation and stated that if I was actually concerned that I should go see a doctor in a very disrespectful demeanor. She also placed the wrong order for my frames. I asked for black frames and she ordered turquoise. I do NOT recommend coming to this location.

My visit here was great!! I’ve never had such an AMAZING experience getting glasses before, and I started wearing glasses in fourth grade so I’ve been to many spots. Rachel the manager was the BEST. Her customer service is outstanding and she has the best advice when picking out glasses, super helpful!! Next time I need glasses I’m coming to this location just to see her

Great experience. Good attention to detail. Handled frame replacement quickly. Gave my daughter a loaner frame to wear while she was waiting for her replacement. Explained insurance details so I understood. Explained prescription to my daughter. Appreciate them and would recommend.

Rachel was absolutely amazing. I was struggling to find the right frame for my face and I am fickle by nature, but Rachel took one look at my face shape and my selections, she said I have the perfect pair for you, be right back, It ended up being my favorite pair! She is VERY good at her job and I was so grateful for her professional advice. Would definitely reccomend my eye lab to anyone!

Do not go here if you value your time!Note: This is my first time coming here.I booked an appointment for 11:30 A.M. and I came to the establishment at 11:24 A.M. I was told to go to the waiting room so I did. During my time in the waiting room I waited 30-40 minutes just for someone to tell me that there is 3 people in front of me. The sole fact that it took a worker 30 minutes to tell a customer with an appointment that there are people in front of them is disgusting. I would understand me having to wait like 10 minutes but half an hour is unacceptable. The worker that told me I have other people in front of me after 30 minutes used the despicable excuse of them being understaffed. Horrible jobs done by the staff and the management team. Hire more people to handle the amount of appointments y’all unknowingly book or prioritize your appointment booking based on the staff you have.Throughly unpleasant experience for such a well rated place.

My husband had to get an eye exam and it was quick and easy. The store is clean and the staff is really friendly. They have a huge selection of frames for Men/Women/Kids and there are frames for everyones budget. We had the absolute BEST experience here today with Rachel! It was our first time and she absolutely made it worth coming back annually which we will. She is super knowledgeable, kind, and understanding of everyones budgets. We didnt feel she tried to upsell us or was aggressive in any way. Simply put, she was lovely and I look forward to working with her in the future for my familys eye care. I highly recommend this location and there staff! Youll walk away with a great deal I promise you that. :)

This place is amazing and super affordable!!! Came in on Saturday and Rachel and Karina were working. Both super friendly and helpful. Had issues with my prescription so came back on Monday and they were both working. Helped me get a prescription recheck and let me put new contacts in. Also helped my mom get set up with an exam and glass even though it was close to closing time. Their attitude was still amazing and friendly the whole visit!!!!

My husband insisted that we get this done so he brought me to the Eye Lab. The people there are extremely friendly and helpful. My Eyelab at Firewheel was awesome! I’d had quite the adventure trying to get an eye exam yesterday and Rachel turned my chaotic day in to a good one. I’d started my eye exam at a different My Eyelab but they lost power in the middle of the exam, and yesterday was the only day I had to get the exam done. There were complications getting the pre-test started since I’d already started the exam at another location, but Rachel was determined to make sure I didn’t leave without an exam! I wasn’t sure what to think about having a telemedicine eye exam, but it really didn’t feel much different from a normal exam. I tried on so many pairs of glasses and couldn’t decide. But Rachel helped me with finding the perfect pair for me! She was so thorough in explaining everything, and helped me get a great deal on glasses and contacts! I only wish I didn’t have to wait to get my new glasses! 🤣

Garland ( Fire wheel Location)My Encounter with Rachel no last nameJan 25 2021 -I scheduled an appointment for my son and spouse to get glasses. Had the appointment the same day. There was no actual doctor there, the exam was virtual. I purchase glasses every year so I already know about what I need to pay for and what’s optional. However at this location “Rachel” was very aggressive during this visit as she was trying to sell me on “Anti -Glare” and a few other things. She actually shocked me with her tactics.When it came to my sons glasses she was telling me oh you need xy and z and oh if the glasses drop the lens will shatter. Ma’am if Eyelab’s lens shatter just from dropping then y’all are in the wrong business.Ultimately she upset me because she was saying all these things in front my son, as if I didn’t love or care for my son because I could only afford what the insurance didn’t cover. Every which way “Rachel” addressed me was in an intimidating manner.Normally I would have confronted her on this behavior but for some reason I let it go.I can definitely tell that she does this quite often to make her sells. I must say it was a horrible experience.Eyelab had a 2 for 59.00 special so I thought I was saving money. I still ended up paying almost 400.00 between my son and spouse.Somewhere between this timeframe the regional manager of the store offered my husband a free pair of shades for the inconvenience because we still hadn’t received his second pair of glasses.February 15, 2021My spouse picked up my son’s glasses but my son wasn’t present to try them on when picking them up. When my son finally tried the glasses on they were like toddler glasses compared to my 10 year old. Please keep in my mind Dallas had a big snow storm and we were stuck inside for a week and Eyelab closed its store as well during this time. So not only are we still waiting on my husbands second pair but my sons glasses are not the same ones he tried on in the store during the exam. Honestly Rachel’s attitude was so bad I believe the mistake was made on purpose.

The selection of frames is great. Their bogo even includes sunglasses. But the main thing that impressed me and made me feel like I absolutely NEEDED to post a review was Latoya. Her demeanor with even the pushiest customer was above and beyond what anyone should expect. She addressed every customer the minute they entered even of she was with someone. She let them know that someone would be with them shortly. She worked with us and informed us of our options. She let us know the pros and cons of each also. I will recommend this to everyone especially Latoya.

It’s totally a scam!!! The guys that work there are really nice and I know is not their fault! I call to make an appointment and they told me is 45 just for the eye exam. Once I get there they charge me 95!!!! I call customer service and they still saying 45 for the” eye exam only” and they say it’s corporate price is 45$ but franchises is 95!!!! It’s ridiculous!!! This place is totally a scam.

I just took my elderly mom in for an exam and eyeglass fitting. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the visit went. The store is clean and updated. The staff was extremely friendly. The variety of frames was great. And the prices are outstanding!!! Jessika helped us out and she was outstanding!!! If you go here, ask for her. She was so sweet to my mom and extremely patient through the process. I highly recommend this location.

This place is horrible. Ordered glasses on August 21 received my glasses second pair of glasses yesterday September 22. After calling numerous times and being told by a very hateful and rude employees that they would notify me when they did come in. I finally called yesterday and miraculously they were there! Be very careful if you don’t use their in-house financing because once they have your money they’re done with you. I asked for the managers phone number or area managers phone number and was given a number that no one answers. I guess that explains how much they care. Please be very careful.

Had exam and glasses here they did not tell me of sever cataracts after spending over $400.00 glasses did not help(For 2 pairs they said after cataract surgery would fix glasses to correct prescription free!! Took glasses in to them with new prescription in NovemberNow not ready till JAN 5TH!! DONT GO HERE SO TIRED OF NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE AND OUT 400 DOLLARS. GEZZZ and this was during buy one get one free AND I had insurance!! Then tell me to call back and they will make it right WELL my glasses were not sent off for awhile after taking them back they were not sent till DEC 15TH. SO was just told they didnt know flippant but anyway it takes 2 weeks to get them back...DONT GO HERE STILL NO.GLASSES TILL JAN.7TH THATS 3 WEEKS AFTER THEY WERE FINALLY SENT IN AND 400 PLUS DOLLARS LATER AND WAS NOT TOLD I HAD CATARACTS. THEY DID Nothing to fix it POOR MANAGEMENT AND DONT CARE

THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD PURCHASING GLASSES OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER!I’m blown away by how horrible the customer service is at this location. Not to mention how they made me feel about their abilities as optometrists. First free eye exam prescription was extremely WRONG, returned the glasses to get a second curtesy eye exam which I’m still feeling is incorrect. Corporate office opted to give me a $100 refund as a result of the first mixup. I returned to pick up corrected prescription glasses which still seemed wrong and to process my $100 refund which I was told twice on the phone would be attached to my order when I returned. When I expressed this to the manager she questioned the validity of refund asking questions like, “who told you you were receiving a refund?” Where I replied, twice “two separate people I’ve spoken to on the phone!She pressed, “was it a man or a woman?”I said, “first time it was a man and second time it was a woman”“Well do you remember their names”? She said.I replied “no, I don’t know the names they said it would be on my account when I came in”She replied, “but you don’t remember their names”?Me:”they said it would be on my account!!”FRUSTRATEDAt this point I’m irritated dealing with this woman once more AND THIS COMPANY as I’ve already spent too much time trying to resolved my issue. Last time, I was there 6 people in Covid masks were waiting in the store as she went on speaking more about her personal life than helping customers. I WAS THERE FOR 2 1/2 hours. She also stopped to give me a lecture about how being frustrated is waste of energy and didnt serve me. (I had been waiting patiently at this point for over an hour for her to get me in for a second eye exam since the first had been horribly botched and I’m lectured, RIDICULOUS) Where I thought, “listen lady, do your job and get me out of here quickly, I don’t want to sit in a shop full of customers who may be Covid positive, risk my life and welfare to hear your life story.” And, at this moment I’m thinking this woman isn’t going to give me a refund... this company is bogus this woman is ridiculous. I felt like she was doing everything possible to get me out of there and come back on another day... AGAIN.So finally she sees the $100 refund on my order and says so. Then she tries to refund the money to my CC card but the system won’t let her.. where she then persists “I’m not going to be able to do this.” She says it several times... Where I say, “ I’m not leaving until I get my refund.”So she gets on the phone to call corporate to help her with the refund. Where I Call my mother in the meantime on my cell to ask her questions about her previous experiences with getting her glasses. Also, I began explaining what I’m experiencing with my eyes as I’m wearing the glasses and the fact that my glasses still don’t seem like they’re CORRECT, I called my mother to get her insight and opinion on whether or not those ailments are normal or if she thought I should return the glasses and get a refund. My mother was just giving me generally optical motherly advice where the manager then comes over and says“I’m not going to give you a refund if you continue to speak about your experience here in the store while there are other customers present.”I just about lost it. I looked up at her and replied. “It’s a free country, I can speak to whomever I wish about purchasing glasses and I can do this wherever I wish.”Her reply was “not when I’m holding your credit card and am responsible for giving you a refund” where she then said, “or you can take your card and get out of my store”My reply was nothing short of, “I’m not leaving until I get my $100 refund. I spent $400 already TO EXPERIENCE THIS BSThis woman from the get-go had very poor customer service skills. I think she’s a horrible representative let alone manager. I have never been treated so horribly in any store front in my entire life and for that I WILL NOT RETURN OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!!

This was the worst experience ever in an eye exam. I came here on may 7 because of covid my regular optometrist was closed and I had sudden vision changes. I had no idea the eye doctor was on a tv screen and couldnt speak english. i told the sales person that I wanted a retest with someone who spoke english so I returned the next day and it was worse. every test was a blur. i asked to be referred to a real optometrist in their system which is only in Rockwall, Tx and he was out for months. I received my glasses and they were the wrong prescription after waiting for 5 weeks when my husbands glasses were ready in less than two weeks. The salesperson said the glasses were made from the wrong prescription so she was sending them back to be remade with the right prescription so on July 1 I returned to pick up only one pair of glasses they didnt know where my bifocals were but knew they were shipped. Surprise! They were the wrong prescription again. the general manager told me that it takes up to two weeks to get used to the glasses. That is simply a lie. She isnt qualified to determine anything. I creturned on July 2 to return the pair of glasses for a refund as they had made these glasses twice and both wrong prescriptions. I told the rude general manager I would be getting a real eye exam and returning the next day to show her the fraud my eyelab had committed and I had not received a real eye exam. she called the Garland police department because I said I was coming back. She told me I was not getting a refund except on the frames because they could resell them. I said are you going to resell a customer return during covid? Do you tell patients that they are a buying a return during a pandemic? I told her I wanted $99 back and i wasnt leaving till I received my refund. She finally came back and very uppity and haughty said she was told to give me back $54 and I said I would come back to prove the next day my prescription was real and that is why she told the police she called them. I am pretty sure she violated my PHI and HIPAA by telling the police my name as they didnt ask for my name or anything when they arrived. I videoed the exchange. I now have a real prescription and I am going to file a complaint with the texas medical board and who ever else credentials optometrist for signing a prescription without seeing a patient. The cataract my eyelab said I didnt have has actually worsened since last August. I will need surgery in approx 2 years to remove it. In all of my 63 years I have never had a merchant call the police on me when I went to do the return and ask for a refund since they were at fault.

First, when I called for an appointment, they were not able to confirm my insurance coverage. I had to come into the store to confirm that I should not be charged for a contact lens fitting since it is covered by my insurance.Second, know that there is not an optometrist in this building. The refractionist is in a remote location and appears on a screen in the exam room. This was my first experience with telemedicine, and was not a good experience (communication problems) or result. When given my glasses script, I questioned why my script changed dramatically (weaker in one eye) than what I have been wearing for the last 10+ years. Lacking an acceptable answer from the people in the store, they stated that they would ask the remote optometrist and get an answer. The only answer I got was that the remote optometrist was confident in his script and refused to change it. No good answer for why I am happy with my current script and why they think my right eye had dramatically improved??? I asked if I could speak with the optometrist and was told that I could not.I came to get a script so that I could order a new pair of safety glasses at work. I was not comfortable getting glasses somewhere else with a script I believed to be wrong. They offered to have me go to another optometrist and then come back with the other script??? At least they agreed to not charge me or file my insurance. The only thing this experience cost me was 2 hours of my life.Please also expect a hard sale on glasses after you get an exam. When I told them that I would not be getting glasses, I was asked WHY?. When I said I was considering contacts, the response was well at least youre getting something hereThey still had the grand opening banner on this new store, and it appears that they still have quite a few bugs to work out of this new concept in eye exams.

Came in at 3:30pm on a Sunday. I had just had my eyes tested elsewhere and wanted to buy glasses. Sales assistant came out from the back and told me the offers then disappeared back into the back, only to be seen again as we were walking out the door. Poor customer service!

Very bad customer service if I could give it a star I went to take my exam and they did it badly they gave me too many headaches and they never answer the calls, when you go to the store they take too long to answer you.It took me more than a month to get the pre-registration right and the girl is too rude
