In the beginning, my experience wasn’t great. I drove to pick out a set of frames only to find the door of the establishment locked at 5:50PM when they should’ve been open until 6. Since this was my first experience with them, I decided to extend grace and assume they needed to be closed on time and come back when I could get there earlier. My husband and I both picked out frames and waited slightly longer than promised for delivery. Our problems started with the warranty. We have a large dog with an affinity for glasses and were relieved when the salesperson sold the warranty to us. As luck would have it, the dog did chew my glasses to pieces a few weeks later. I called Visionworks and was told to bring the damaged pieces in to be replaced. We were guaranteed that as long as we had “at least a piece of the glasses” we would be covered. (EXACT WORDS) However, when I brought the leftover pieces in to the store- I was told it wasn’t a large enough piece to prove those were my glasses. Soooo, I went home and dug through the trash to find a larger piece of my glasses. I returned with the larger piece to try again. This time, I was told the tag wasn’t showing so I still couldn’t prove they were mine. Our family spent nearly $1,200 there for glasses and I feel totally scammed. When we payed the extra $100 for the warranty, we were told ALL damage would be covered. All I wanted was the same pair of glasses I’d originally purchased. In the end, they didn’t stand behind their promise.
Fast, prompt, and friendly service here. I came in to get two pairs of glasses adjusted that were bought online (not through Visionworks). They were happy to adjust them free of charge. Also, they are doing temperature checks at the door and the area is spacious to allow for social distancing. So happy I came here!

I went here because this is a nationwide establishment thinking that I will get the best quality service ever. I guess I thought wrong, because I got a message to pick up my glasses and my frame was bigger than my entire head. I think the lenses probably were too thick for the frame. I felt like the Optometrist that waited on me should have educated me better on the type of frames that I should have selected. I had to go back and choose a different frame which is much larger than the original frame that I had actually chosen the first time. So hopefully this will work I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life.

Great customer service! I came into Visionworks today with a pair of glasses where my right lenses had fallen out, and they were able to fix my glasses in less than 5 minutes. It was an overall pleasant experience, they were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want to be helped and enjoy your stay while being there.
Two stars only because I can usually find something for my nephew when I go in. But again, I find it, with no help from the associates. They then decide to price his lenses and frames without consulting us, the consumers, about the different options we have. However, and this always seems to irritate them, I have a background as an optician so I ask questions about pricing.We go there because the location is convenient.Tonight, however, we went at 7:45 (they closed at 8) to just run in and pick a frame. The doors were already locked. My niece and nephew knocked but we didnt see anyone and started walking away. Then they saw someone hurt into the for so they ran back and the door was locked again. So I stood there for a minute and a girl came out and turned off the lights. All this before 8pm. I just knocked and pointed out that its not 8 yet and she said, Were closed.I do not plan to return to this location if theyre not interested in helping anyway.Please either update your Saturday hours for this location online AND on the door or explain to your employees how open hours work.
We visited this store last year to buy some glasses for my wife. Delia was awesome then and just as polite, professional, helpful and pleasant on my visit yesterday. She is an exemplary employee. I think this world could use more folks like her in it. Shes a keeper!!

I love Visionworks at Firewheel! I went there recently to order new glasses. They had the largest selection of frames of all the places I visited. I was pleased to finally find some frames that suit my face very well. The service while ordering and while picking up were both excellent. My glasses were ready in a week, and they went above and beyond to make sure they fit well and that I was happy with them. They really know what they are doing. I have two other family members at home that wear glasses, and this place was our best experience. I cant express enough how pleased I am with Visionworks.
I came in 2 weeks ago and let me tell you... I loved the staff. William was such a huge help, I forgot the girls name also, but she was kind of short with glasses and dark hair. She was helpful as well. Super friendly staff. William was very straightforward and to the point with my insurance. Didnt even need to ask anyyyyy questions. 😁.
Q is a wonderful representative for this company. She is so friendly and pleasant! She makes you feel welcome and is very patient while you try on a million pair of frames! I was very nervous because this was the first time I’ve ever had to purchase glasses. The employees were quick to greet me and looked up what my insurance covered. After they helped me pick out a frame they assisted me in picking out lens options specific to my daily activities. Excellent customer service! I was in the area and had been needing to go to an eye store so I came to this store not knowing anything about glasses, and hoping someone could really help me out. Very helpful and very friendly! I’ve been coming here for almost 2-3 years and always keep coming back. My nose thingy fell off of my glasses and caused great irritation around my nose. I came in and the lady fixed it right up free of charge. The process took only about 5 minutes and she readjusted the frames to sit right on my face again. Thank you so much Visionworks!

I wanted to thank Torie for helping me find the right frames and lenses. It was my first time buying and I wasnt a hundred percent sure of what was type of lenses I needed. She was knowledgeable and explained the different types of lenses and the features of each one. Im happy with my purchase and will be a returning customer.

DONT ORDER CONTACTS FROM THESE PEOPLE! I paid 15$ extra for fast overnight shipping and was told to come in on a certin day to get my order. I waited an extra few days past that day. It should have been available and was told my order was on back order from their distribution center and that i needed to wait a another week just to get a trail pair not my order. Why couldnt they tell me that when i placed the order? They didnt care about taking my money. They also never bothered to call and tell me that when they knew about it. To make matters worse the employee i talked too was extremely rude, cutting me off! This is the worst experience purchasing contacts. Im going back to my doctors office from now on. Dont waste your time or money like I did. Unprofessional!

They smile at you when you buying, but since they already got your money.. the smiles end when then give you their product.... no fitting.. they just handle you the glasses, and not they busy busy busy with other new customers...

Customer service was only good when my wife ordered glasses. After that, everything went down hill. My wife got two pairs of glasses. When we went to go pick up the glasses, one of the frames was wrong. They argued with my wife that she ordered that style. They then tried to put the lenses in the store demo, which we did not want. They were unhappy about this and had to reorder the frames. They did a poor job of adjusting the other pair to fit properly on my wife’s face. Then they just laid the case and frames on the counter and walked away. My wife asked for a bag, which the employee went to grab a bag to toss on top of the case and glasses and walked away once again. The following week the new frames arrived. Only to discover that the lenses were now scratched. We had to go back once again to get this resolved. This is the worst experience ever in terms of buying glasses. Go to any other Visionworks except this one.

While the store manger was very helpful Brenda was not. When trying to pick up information from a previous visit I was told I could not have it even though On the phone they said I could. When calling again Brenda told me she was mistaken and was sorry I could actually come get it so I had to go up there a second time to get it. I would not recommend this store to anyone.
I recently had a wonderful experience at Visionworks. I was immediately greeting when I walked in, and there was little wait time to be helped. They have such a great selection and such friendly staff.
Upon arrival for my first appointment with this location for an eye exam with the onsite optometrist, the front office staff were not enthusiastic and their customer service was mediocre at best. Once I met with the Optometrist, he was not friendly and quite rude and condescending during our entire conversation. He rushed through the exam and did not allow me enough time to review the various lenses that test my site. Furthermore, I never had the opportunity to review my options for better reading sight. As a matter of fact, the Optometrist was very cynical and was not consultative at all. I highly recommended that nobody visit this office, as they do not offer the service you deserve for patronizing this establishment with your hard earned medical benefits and cash.
Got my glasses much faster than promised. See you next year
I recently made a trip to the visionworks at firewheel and for starters let me tell you I was impressed with the vast selection of frames. I just couldnt decide between a few and the staff was much obliged to help me pick the right one. The staff there was super nice and Delia i believe her name was very attentive and made the process so easy. Definitely telling my friends to come visit.

This store customer service has declined severely!!! They tell me they will call me and they never do! I ordered contacts and they were incorrect! Visionworks train your people! Train your so called supervisors! Hire more people and have them know how to deal with cistomers! Bye I will get my money back and purchase elsewhere cause obviously you dont need my money!! I came in here impulsively as I was passing by because I have had the same glasses for about 5 years and my prescription was pretty out of date. The eye doctor next door saw me immediately without an appointment and I got my current prescription. Brenda and Tony then helped me pick out some glasses to try on. I told them exactly what type of glasses I was looking for and they delivered. They picked many great options for me to choose from and they all fit my criteria perfectly. I almost had a hard time deciding on just one pair. They helped me narrow it down and I was out of there within 20 minutes. I got my new glasses in less than a week and I am loving them! :-) I would reccomend this location to anyone!

I have two ratings for this place...The Optometrist, Tony Chapman, was awesome. He was very friendly and professional. 5 STARS!The retail store, on the other hand, was awful (1 STAR). I walked in, picked out a few frames and a sales person was free. I asked him to give me some prices for the frames I had picked out with lenses. Apparently, he was still helping the lady who had left and when she returned, he left me sitting there, with my info still pulled up on the screen, to go back to her. I was not impressed. I left and will be buying my frames elsewhere.
I got some really awesome blue moon frames and trivex lenses with the non glare and it looks so clear it doesnt even feel like there are lenses in the frames. I love them!

This place is terrible I ordered a 850.00 dollar pair of glasses. I had to get my money back. No customer service skills at all, by none of them, seriously. Not one but two days in a row didnt open until after 11 am. And the sign clearly stated 10am. It was raining both days. One day there was at least 8 people waiting out side in the rain. I took my money and did business elsewhere. Customer Service is everything nowadays, money is to hard to come by to get terrible service as I received there. Actually I give them zero stars. Take ur money to someone who wants ur business..........
I was a little worried about visiting this location because of the negative reviews, but its in a convenient location and they have a really big frame selection!I have gotten my glasses here in the past and I had a good experience, so I decided to take my mother here because I remembered how good their frame selection is. They have several frame boards with plenty of different styles to choose from. When we first got there the staff was prompt to greet us, so I already felt better about my decision to go there.The lady that helped us was very friendly and knowledgeable. I believe her name is Delia. She helped us find some really cute frames for my mom that fit her perfectly and looked great! I usually dont really understand how glasses work, but she explained everything very well and made the whole process quick and easy!We ordered her glasses on Sept. 17th and we got told they would be ready on the 27th. A couple of days before the glasses were set to arrive I got a call from one of the managers. He told me there was a slight delay on my glasses but they would notify me as soon as they got there. He apologised for the inconvenience, but I have been wearing glasses for years, so I understand that happens sometimes. A day after they were supposed to arrive I got a call from the same manager telling me the glasses were ready.Overall I had a great experience here. From the friendly staff helping us find the best frame options for my mom, to that final manager who kept us updated on the status of my moms glasses. I am glad I didnt listen to all the negative reviews and visited this location!!

I choose this store because of the great reviews it has. Now as a client Im realizing the customer service isnt as great as these reviews say specifically the Manager Delia. This location no longer has their lab therefore I called Mesquites location to place an order for replacement lenses they told me they would call Firewheels location to get the warranty information as this was the location I made my purchase. They called me back saying Firewheel location had told them the glasses had no insurance as they were a year old I assured them they werent as i had just gotten the glasses in March, so I call Firewheel Im redirected to Delia I assured her i had my receipt which said i got them in March she said yes i just saw that but you didnt purchase insurance I told her I did she said you must have purchased it separately and we dont show you have it I told her no I purchased it same day as glasses her tone was already getting very rude she proceeded to tell me to take her my receipt in a very vulgar and rude way and hung up. I called back and asked her if they kept copy of the receipts as I didnt want to make the drive she said yes we do not realizing it was me until after I gave her my information to look up the receipt she said oh yes I see here on your receipt you purchased insurance Ill fax over the information to Mesquites location I said okay thank you. This was on Saturday i called Mesquite on Monday to see if they had received the information and if the lenses order had been placed they told me the hadnt received anything.This is very poor customer services before saying the glasses were a year old or not insured why not look up all the information before getting rude. If you live close to these locations I definitely recommend Mesquites location they have gona above and beyond for me trying to get this matter handled and by far best customer service.

I came in for an adjustment and Tony adjusted my glasses better than any other place Ive ever gone to. I definitely will get my glasses here next.

Its unfortunate that I had to rate them so low because the guy was reasonably helpful. They called my insurance to get authorization and I hear the guy repeat back that my contacts are covered, frames are covered to $120 and polycarbonate lenses free. We get contacts taken care of, and move to glasses. I pikes out a really cheap pair anyway cuz theyre just for backup. He puts it all in and tells me that itll be $24 out of pocket. I ask why if the lenses are covered and frames up to $120 and these only cost $70. He says maybe its some sort of extra copay. I respond, no you just called them and they told you there wasnt. He says maybe its cuz theyre polycarbonate. I tell him Im logged into my insurance web page and looking at my coverage and it says theyre $0 for those. He just says well I cant change it. I say well Im sorry but Im just getting these for backup and really only wanted them cuz my insurance covered them so Ill just pass on them for today. He then completely changes and says well thats not necessary, we can take for of that for you, its no big deal, I dont know why it popped up etc etc. Its just unfortunate that they are just looking to scam people and get them to cave and pay for something when they really shouldnt. I spoke extensively with my insurance before I went so I knew my coverages very well, and double checked with my optometrist before coming here. Just disappointed.
At first they were very helpful but when the day came to pick up my daughters lenses and frames they messed up my whole order by submitting just one of my daughters prescription and not the other one, so there you go another 2 weeks and still they havent gotten them yet! I dont know what that lady was thinking.
I was concerned with the bad reviews on google but it was absolutely great service . I like the frames but mainly the customer service. Brenda and Victor were great and they answered all my questions.
