Amanda and Alexandria were phenomenal. Despite uhaul moving my reservation to another location (without my notice), these ladies made an effort to accommodate me and they did exceptionally well.
Folks working here are very nice, and know their stuff about moving! Made the process easier. Also have plenty of trucks and lots of moving supplies. A nice find is the free box exchange if you dont wanna buy new boxes!

Waited in line 40 minutes only to be told they were no available doily’s.Both men moved at a snail’s pace.The line was to the back of the building. Both men taking personal phone calls.I understand being busy but accommodating customers should be a priority
I rented a motorcycle trailer at this location on December 13th, 2020. The staff were polite, friendly, and professional.When I contacted them to extend my rental, that process was also hassle free.I would recommend this location, and will use them again if the need arises.Thanks guys!
SLOW! Even with doing the pre-check in, we still waited in line over an hour and then took another 20 minutes for someone to put on the trailer.
Called a dozen times, but they never answered the phone. So I pack up my 41’ RV, drive over there only to find out they have nobody qualified to pump propane today. Would have saved me a lit if trouble had they taken 10 seconds to answer the phone and tell me this. And to any managers who care to check who was asleep at the wheel it was 8-5-21 at 4:15PM.
Negative reviews of this store are not honest. I have used this store for years, never been disappointed. It really helps to make a reservation online. People at this store are as helpful as the customers are patient. If you walk in with an attitude, dont expect them to go above and beyond for you.

I suggest you never use this Uhaul site for any of your moving/storage needs. I rented a small box truck for 2.5 hours and told them my mileage estimate would be 25 miles total. The latter which I didn’t even hit; I just over-estimated. The next day I receive an email stating that I drove 120 miles!! I went from this location, to my storage location in Westchase and back. When I called to contest this, they did nothing to work with me. When I said that no one from their staff ever “walked the truck” with me, when I took it, or when I returned it - their excuse was Covid. They are taking advantage of the current pandemic, in order to financially screw over their customers. I called corporate to file a complaint, but this did nothing. Now, my only recourse is to tell everyone I can about the nefarious business practices of this particular Uhaul location. NEVER USE THEM.

Rent trailer at this location several times. Always made reservation in ahead so never spent more than 30 mins here to get what I need. Quick check-in and check-out and good service
I was not at all happy with any part of the service U-Haul had provided prior to coming in to this U-Haul location! But Benjamin Heidorn and his colleague worked tirelessly on attaching a hitch on my car, so our 1500-mile trip would go smoothly. And it did. Thanks a lot guys! Very professional!
Was scheduled to drop off a U-haul at this location and was turned away because they were at capacity. Tried to send me to 2 other closed locations in Lake Jackson even though I was reserved to drop off a trailer that day. Only after calling their corporate group and raising hell were they magically able to find plenty of space for a tow trailer.
Everything has been delightful during each of three contacts made thus far....
Victor Gaines, the General manager at the NRG location was very helpful and very nice! It was very busy and he did everything he could to deal with the line. Even when customers were complaining and being rude he still was very nice and helpful. I appreciate his service! He needs to be recognized for what he has done! Thank you!!
Getting my van reservation was a breeze. The personnel who manned the counter were courteous and helpful, I was in, out and on my way rather quickly. The van I rented was clean and and appeared to be well maintained. Initially, I had some reservations about driving a van as I had never driven one before. However, with some quick guidance from one of the staff I was good to go. Renting a van from this place proved to be a boon during a particularly stressful move. Oh and lastly, renting from this place was fairly in expensive. I have nothing to compare it to really, but I spent just over 50 USD in all for the van.

Uhaul is a big joke and will never have a truck for you even when you reserved it a week in advance.They will not bother to call you and let you know they gave your truck away to someone else, and will instead just waste your time. All while actually having a truck on the lot they are saving for another reservation.If you enjoy having your time wasted, then Uhaul is a great fit for you. After having them waste half of my day, I ended up just getting a Penske truck. The Penske people bent over backwards to make me happy because they actually know what CUSTOMER SERVICE means.Im convinced Uhaul is a mismanaged and dying company.

I made a reservation for the truck over a month in advance, and they told me the truck was unavailable the day before moving! I had to call the customer service get relocated which was over 10miles in driving distance. They charge you over $1/mile, so that is another way they try to make money out of. They also say on their website that they have many trucks available at this location, but they actually dont when I talked to the service representative. SO NEVER MAKE A RESERVATION at this location. This relocation issue seems to be taking place so often, so H-HAUL needs to deal with this issue seriously. I think they need to bring the truck to the reserved location if they dont have it available at the original location instead of making the customer wait on hold for half an hour and make them pick a truck for an extra half an hour. I will never use U-HAUL again.
UHAUL is getting worst and worst every time I go there. After using the trailer I tried to return it to a neighborhood location. The problem is that nobody was at the neighborhood location to check my trailer return. After calling their customer service number while waiting in the parking lot, to return the trailer, I was literally transferred 3 times because nobody could give me an answer on how to return the trailer! After on the phone for 40 minutes with bad customer service reps, I decided to take the trailer to this uhaul location. After dropping it off at this location, the individual said that I wasnt going to get charged an extra day because it was their fault. However when I checked my email, sure enough I was charged an extra day! So now after calling customer service again on the phone to ask why I was charged, (phone service is not great) the person said that I will have to wait 3 days to get a call back... so now I am waiting. We will see what happens.UPDATE: They contacted me again and refunded me the money.
Below-average service. Took much longer than expected to get my van. Then I was stiffed on gas.At least the return process was easy!

Sent here after San Jacinto location couldnt put a hitch on my car due to not having a capable team member. Left my car here for 2-hrs and got a call they were as done as they were going to get with my car. When I arrived, I was told the torque screw in my cargo area of my car were special dealership screws and the only way to get to the wiring for the harness. My car has a towing package so the whole harness is already installed and is plug and play but U-haul wanted me to get a whole wiring harness kit and start from scratch. Fortunately, but unfortunately, I was turned away because the technicians there did not know how to find the plug under my bumper; which I found later at home. Although the staff was very polite, they were not very competent. Calling 1800-Go Uhaul is also annoying because the on-hold person is bragging about how U-Haul is a one-stop shop for all your towing needs and now Ive been to two location in Houston with no luck.
Slow service. Was there for 30 minutes to buy boxes...left with only one person checking out in that time. Apparently it is best to get a reservation to buy boxes. Buying from Amazon is cheaper and saves you 30 minutes of frustration.
I came from the original uhaul location on my reservation because they didn’t have trailers and haven’t had trailer in four months according to the lady behind the counter. I was told by uhaul that they called, emailed and texted me yesterday with the address change but they didn’t do any of that. I’ve been standing in line for 30 minutes - One guy at the counter on Saturday morning??? I’m a frequent renter, have a uhaul account with confirmed vehicle and contact information and even prepaid but they insisted on calling a secondary contact who must answer their phone. While I was being frustrated with this experience, another guy had been waiting for propane service outside for 30 mins and was told he won’t get service until the other customers are taken care of inside but the guy at the counter couldn’t even guess how long that’ll take. I ultimately cancelled my reservation and will have to rent from another company.
There was a glitch and they fixed it right away. I really appreciate it. great place to rent from.
My friend has had his things here at this storage for more than a year and the people here were very helpful. Ive come a couple of times to do things, and although Ive met different people each time, 1 thing that was common was that they were all helpful and willing to provide assistance wherever necessary.
Took almost an hour to pick up but a few minutes to drop off. Staff were pleasant, truck was good, no problems.
Do not reserve online! I reserved online when their system changed my pick-up location to this one. They didnt have the dollys I requested. She told me I needed to call around to find some. I told them, no, she had to call around to find some. My daughter had to use the restroom, but it was too dirty. After 20 minutes of waiting, I was given a dirty van. It had gum in the cup holder and reeked of Febreeze (my daughter found a frog skeleton in the back of the van). I asked for a new van, but was offered more Febreeze. I cancelled our reservation here and requested to go to the closest UHaul with dollys. The attendent was falling asleep on the computer waiting for the system to accept the changes. Yeah, not a great first impression.
I was never informed of the time of my appointment for hitch install, although rep said I would be called and told the time within the next day. I called 3 separate times to ask when it would be installed, but no one at location ever answered the phone...I was directed to call center (which always had a very friendly and helpful rep) where I was told on the first call they are really busy, please call back in an hour on the second call they have you on schedule for a hitch today but dont have the time. I will send them another message and have them call you right away about your appointment (of course no one ever called me) and the third time your appointment was at 12pm today (it was 2pm by the time I called again). I am sorry. I will forward your complaint to the store and the district manager. Then when I got to the store, they told me I could call the manager Paul. I called him and he did not apologize once, although he did call the store (he was off that day) and ask them to install my hitch which they did. No one apologized for the mistake (its not that the mistake is so huge or horrible...these mix ups happen), its just that the way it was dealt with was unprofessional.Pros: friendly reps at Uhaul call center. friendly employee at front desk in the store.Cons: manager not apologetic at all, VERY long wait in line (it was end of month and a Saturday, but still they seemed understaffed although the nice girl at the counter was really doing her best to work as fast as possible)Advice: try a different location maybe?
Waited for 45 minutes for somebody to come out and pump propane. When the guy finally came he told me out of all the employees there he is the only one certified to pump. At the same time they had other employees around that could have helped me because they were not as busy but apparently werent certified.
Everything went well. Rental and return were accurate and efficient; van was clean and ran well. I will return.
Don’t use this location if you value your time. Trying to pick up Ubox from storage. They won’t answer phone to make pickup appointment and won’t return calls. After making appt for pickup with central uhaul number, it was not ready. Show up and there is 1 employee working on a Saturday morning for a large location with a line out the door. Had to give up because I don’t have hours to wait. Still don’t have UBox. Ridiculously bad service.
Vehicle was fine - the staff wanted to charge $51 because the tank was an eighth (1/8) too empty... Avoid

Took just a quick 5 minutes to walk in and walk out with keys to a truck.
The employees are RUDE, un- courteous, very dry. Now your belongings are safe but the ppl you have to deal with are another question.exceot for Mr. Curtis he goes above & beyond the call of duty.

Staff is unpleasant, lazy, and not courteous.They charged my account when it wasnt supposed to be.Locked out of the storage because I was not offered and told about certain access I needed for the storage.Just been a lot of headaches with this location and they need to do a complete overhaul on this location starting with the manager all the way down to the employees or customer service training.There was one employee who actually talked and treated me like a human...a customer and I wish I knew his name but he is a night worker. If it wasnt for him I would have taken my business elsewhere.I will be calling corporate to complain and just know this location will never see my business again. I am going to need UHAUL to really check on their locations and pull an undercover boss.Terrible...Terrible experience.
The personnel at U-Haul have always been helpful in getting me in and out. The only thing that might be negative is the patrons taking up the counter peoples time thereby slowing the process.
Complete morons. Tried for two weeks to pay the freight charge on my ubox. Everytime I called the person had no idea what I was talking about.

Called and asked if propane tank could be certified told them it was an 03 tank that it was past 12 years was told to bring the propane tank to see if it could be filled and then she told me it was past date waste of time
