Wade is super nice and polite. Highly recommend Dean McCrary Mazda. Great vehicle selection and customer service!
Purchased a new Mazda CX30 last month. My new vehicle is awesome, and Stephanie and her sales staff were a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be referring friends and family.
I made an appointment with Stephanie the general manager and Raymond a sales person to see a specific vehicle at a specific time. I called 30 min prior to my arrival to verify. The manager new I wanted this car and told me it was waiting on me. Upon arriving at my appointment time, the car that was promised to me was sold out from underneath me. I had a great experience in 2019 with my purchase there and the owner Bill promised to help find me a car. They all lied. Not only that. It took 7 phones calls and crying over the course of two weeks just to obtain my GAP documents. I ended up with a beautiful 2018 Mazda CX5 touring from Autonation. I will never give them the chance to lie to me again.
CUSTOMER BE AWARE!!! If you do own or are thinking of a Mazda product, or have to have any work done on it. Be very careful and pay close attention to any bill you may have. We took our car into DEAN McCRARY MAZDA in Mobile to have the brakes repaired back the end of May, after long waits supposedly to get parts in, and them to figuring out what the problem was, finally 3 months later (end of August) they had the brakes fixed. BUT there was an incident in the shop. They had damaged my car, because somehow, it did not get put in park and it rolled across their shop and hit something causing damage to the hood, so then they had to repair that, and take it to a body shop to get painted. We were assured that we would not be billed for anything that was related to the damage they did. So finally into the 4th month, and getting a different excuse every time I called about it, they had it ready, we went to pick it up, Sept.21, paid the bill and left. I should have really paid closer attention to the bill, while we were there. They did give us a meager little discount, but on a closer look afterward, they had charged us for a part, bonnet lock (hood latch) that had to be replaced because of the damage they caused. I should have known not to trust them I guess. So be careful, they will lie and try and sneak things in on you. I have emailed them, that we did notice their underhandedness. And hopefully they will make it right. But Im not holding my breath. Customer be aware!! Lesson learned. To DEAN McCRARY MAZDA this is a pathetic sad way to do business.
I had a good experience buying a used car at Dean McCrary Mazda. I worked with Brittany Parker who was was knowledgeable and professional, helping me fill out the paperwork and answering all my questions about the process and the car. “Z” processed the payment papers quickly and efficiently. In both cases the atmosphere was calm and professional. I appreciate the service I received. Thank you Brittany and Dean McCrary Mazda staff.
Just purchased my new Audi Q7 and I LOVE IT!! Go see Stephanie at Dean McCrary Mazda, Shes AWESOME!
Stephanie Burford was incredible! She asked what we were looking for showed us what they had on hand & even brought out one that they just got in, which turned out to be perfect for us! The paperwork was painless & Stephanie was the only person we had to deal with! A very pleasurable experience!
I am very pleased with the service I received from Raymond Williams at Dean McCrary Mazda. Mr. Williams treated me with respect and assessed my needs/wants to find the perfect car for me. I am a first-time Mazda buyer. He talked to me about what makes Mazda stand out as a brand. He directed me to a loaner car the lot was selling. It was virtually brand new but saved me quite a bit of money. I have owned my car for two months now and couldnt be happier. Mr. Williams returns my phone calls in a timely fashion to follow up with issues even AFTER he has already made the sale.
BEWARE!! Do not take your vehicle to get serviced here. They had my friends car for a month and a half, sublet it out then without her knowing, and then that mechanic had it for a month. As the story unfolds, they do not have a service person qualified to work on Mazda’s and they are subletting the work out to someone else. After picking it up from the sublet mechanic, it made it 5 miles down the road and had to be towed to Sandy Sansing in Pensacola. What began as a job to replace the crank shaft position sensor has led to the entire engine being locked up. They do not want to take any responsibility. Just skip the trouble and take elsewhere.
I really wasn’t looking to buy a new vehicle but, I Inquired about the new Mazda CX-30. I got a phone call from Brittany Phillips. So, I went to the dealership just to look at one. Needless to say I bought a new CX-30. Brittany made my buying experience even better. No hassle and no worries. She took care of everything from beginning to the end because buying a new car can be very stressful. She took all the pressure away. Go see her she is amazing and will help you find what you are looking for.
Brittany was our sales person and she was extremely pleasant and helpful to deal with. The whole team made the process easy and hassle free. Will definitely buy from them again!
I love my new car!! Brittany was awesome! She wasnt pushy and she had everything ready for us when we got there. Highly recommended!!
I purchase a new mazda a week ago and worked with Raymond Williams who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle I was buying thanks to Brittany Parker and Stephanie Burford and Z with their family like atmosphere I am very happy with the car well worth the drive from Baton Rouge
They just dont have many cars on the lot. Five years ago I was looking for a Mazda CX5 GT. They didnt have any GTs on the lot the first or second time I went. I wound up having to go to Pensacola to purchase. Most recently, about 2 weeks ago, I went to look at the new Mazda CX5 turbo and they dont have any on the lot. ONE should arrive in about five weeks. I AM aware of the chip factory/shortage situation, however Acura and Audi have cars on their lots. (?)
Anytime I got to pick up parts for my fathers body shop they always pull through and deliver high quality product.
Do not waste time going here!! My sales person must have been new because he called and hound me everyday about when my bank was going to send the money. They havent done nothing to the car but put gas in it, no new tires, car was dirty in the inside and out. That was a very bad experience, but I did purchase the car after I talked them down for not doing anything to the car!!
Why would you bar customers whose Mazdas are still under warranty? Why not tell them that you no longer have an Elite Mazda Master Technician, and direct them to other dealerships? You are hurting the Brand!
SCAM! The salesman I dealt with is a nice man and He sold me my first Mazda. There was a mixup then as well but I overlooked it. Anyways, he honestly tried to work out a deal for me. I left (with the new car) without signing paperwork and when I come back the next day to sign, the story had changed. They tell you one thing and do another. Then they lie about it and try and hide it in your contracts! I was told my loan would be a 72 month loan and no penalty if I pay off early. When the finance dude was sorting through my mounds of paperwork, my eye caught “84” only to discover that the length of the loan had been extended to 84 months. He left out that HUGE detail. The car would’ve ended up costing $10,000 MORE. That is NOT okay! If you’re looking for a car here, do yourself a favor and go the opposite direction unless you have money to throw away!!
Great experience so far with my new purchase. I love my new Mazda CX-5!
Very nice, knowledgeable salesman. Answered all of our questions. No pressure. Enjoyed the test drive.
I needed to get a factory recall done on my daughters Mazda6i before she went back to college from the holidays. Paul was so kind and his crew was helpful in getting the recall worked into their schedule and completed quickly, doing oil change, tire rotation and even giving me a couple of estimates on some minor parts/work she needs (to do later). Please keep up the good work. I am looking to get my youngest son a Mazda, too!
I bought a Mazda3 from here 6 months ago. I dealt with Ernie and he was great five stars. My wife likes the vehicle so much that she wanted me to get her a Mazda6. I called Ernie and he was no longer working there so he sent me to Wayne. I had every bit as pleasant an experience with Wayne ( another 5 stars) as I did with Ernie. My wife loves the Mazda6. Overall the family is pleased with both cars and the people that we dealt with in purchasing them.
Salesman had very little knowledge of vehicle. Vehicle did not have the jack accessory kit, salesman unaware that it supposed to have one( what good is a jack if you cant use it!) No owners manual for vehicle, 1st thing salesman said was they were not going to pay for one! Vehicle was filthy! Needless to say we left dealership without purchase. Would not recommend this dealership!
Raymond, our salesman was wonderful to deal with. He was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout our buying experience at Dean McCrary Mazda. We highly recommend this dealership.
Car broke down had it towed to them they said it needed a tune up cost me $1100 was supose to be ready for pick up call to pick up and they tell me that my motor blew up that it would cost me $8500 for a new motor horrible service would not recommend anyone take their vehicle there I will be getting a attorney for them blowing up my car.. wish I could give them no stars but it wouldnt let me
Dont waste your time getting your car serviced here. The service lady has her own princess parking spot that blocks half the isle. Completely disregarding the customer. Its a blue Chevy, small car but she parks it under the covered isle like she owns that place. Employees should park away from the building.
Had a recall item taken care of and the shop people were wonderful and helpful. Now on the other hand I was not happy to learn there was another recall and I was not made aware of so since I had the recall fixed by my mechanic Mazda would not reimburse me for the part after it caught fire. I felt betrayed by Mazda and I can not believe they wouldnt honor their agreement to replace the part because I did not know and took it to a place and it wasnt brought to their shop. I will tell you why because their shop prices are outrageous and my mechanic is so fair why would I take my car to the dealership. I never got the recall letter. I think that was poor on their part
I wouldnt go as far to call it bad or poor service, but I will say that they should be more informative. The paper work doesnt state any information on when I should return for the next scheduled service. I was also offered a complementary car wash and vacuum which appeared to be forgotten. If you offer a service I feel you should honor your word or not offer it. Im not trying to be petty I have just experienced a decline in customer service at many places lately. Sometimes the small things matter. On a positive note the people werent rude and I did think to ask when i should return to have my car serviced again.
We couldnt be happier with our experience! Everyone was so nice and professional. Wayne Hallock, our sales professional, was very attentive and courteous and listened to what I wanted. He helped me find the perfect car that I can enjoy and still do all my Girl Scout stuff in and maybe in a few years hand off to our daughter. The Mazda6 is so comfy and stylish but still has plenty of space in the trunk for cookie cases and camping gear. Perfect fit for someone who wanted to downsize from a bulky SUV but still needed something to manage the extracurriculars. Thanks Wayne and the team at Dean McCrary for making our new purchase a perfect and satisfactory one!!!
I went in for a test drive. The young man who helped me was great.Went over everything in a professional manner and answered my questions. As I was leaving a guy approached me and introduced himself. Really could notUnderstand him, cause I think he was eating something. He started the typical high pressure tactics: What can I do toPut u in a car today? Want to take it home? Can your husband come in??I liked the vehicle but would not buy from them after that. I am in my 60s and havepurchased lots of vehicles. Coming on like that was unnecessary.
Would put one star, but they just happened to have the exact model that i wanted and i got it for the price that i wanted. Everything else about the process was not pleasant. The sales guy knew nothing about the vehicle and made sure that i knew. The sales guy was not on the same page as the finance guy. When i went in i had everything that i needed to walk in, buy the car, and leave (20-30 min). Instead, there was a few hours of sitting around for no reason at all and about 10 minutes of car buying. Overall i felt like a walking dollar sign and not a valued customer. 10/10 would not go back. Ever.
Horrible. If I could give them no stars I would. Their prices are extremely high and they dont keep their word. They were supposed to fix a cable for the gas tank which took them 2 tries and that cost 71 dollars. We are supposed to have a 12 month 12 thousand miles warranty. Afterwards the lady in the service department came out and stated that if what they did didnt work we would have to replace the cable and the cost would be 310 dollars. I ask what about our 12 month 12 thousand miles warranty she started oh thats on what we did today. Same difference right? THIS is a MESS.
Dean McCrary Auto Group MazdaMarch 2, 2015Completely unprofessional. They pulled our credit way more times than once. They lost our paperwork. Then they never followed up with us with one single phone call. I expected better service from Mazda. Ill be sending letters out to the credit agencies and their corporate office to get all of these credit inquiries off of our credit reports. Do not go here, theyll set you up with a bunch of lies. Be forewarned. Ill never refer anyone to Dean McCrary Auto Group .
Bad service! Sales department is not in communication with finance.- I leave my car for a full day to clean it, without knowledge they could do more maintenance the same day. No one told me, but they know the car will be there all day long.- I have to sent a second copy of my identification 2 days later, when the finance lady make a copy by herself.- 21 days after I get my car, I called to the bank to set up automatic payment, they confirmed my information was not in their system.- I called the dealer, they didn’t send my paperwork because something was wrong, but no one never contact me to let it me know.- I ended going back to the dealer to sign again more paperwork.
I purchased my 2014 Mazda 6 brand new from this dealer. The sales was typical, I have didnt have any with the sale. Their customer support, leaves something to be desired. This car is on its 4th recall, with three warranty repairs. Each time I take it in, it always takes longer then promised to perform the work, they never call back when they say they will, and it is difficult to get them on the phone. The phone to the service department almost always goes to voicemail. Not sure how a dealer can justify not having enough staff just to answer the phone. The last time I took it in for recall work I asked they fix the center console, it was covered under warranty. They didnt remember to do the work (fix the center console). This last time I dropped the car off on a Thursday night, for its scheduled appointment on Friday for its 3rd or 4th recall. I asked them to get me a quote for getting a remote start installed. Not sure why it wasnt standard on their top end model, but thats a conversation for another day. They call me about an hour before they close the next day to tell me its done. They were supposed to call earlier in the day to give me the quote for the remote start install, hoping that maybe they could fit it in while they have it on the lift. When I get to the shop to pick the car up I had to remind him to get me the quote. He tells me if I leave the car with them over the weekend they will have it done Monday. Monday comes and again towards the end of the day, I havent heard from them, imagine my surprise. I call them and he says, it will be another day. So much for my schedule that I completely rearranged to make sure I was available to pick the car up. Now I have to rearrange two days in a row to accommodate their inability to communicate and plan work. Im not sure these guys know they are supposed to be here for me not the other way around. When I explain to the service rep my displeasure he offers a loaner. Why wasnt that an option Thursday evening? Why did I have to rearrange, an by rearrange I mean take off work to get my car into and out of the shop multiple days, needlessly? Each time I take the care in I get a sob story by the service rep how they have only been there 6 months and they are the nations best and they cant do anything about the past. Even though they cant find the courtesy to keep their schedule or at least make some phone calls early enough in the day to let me know I dont have to adjust my schedule for nothing! In reality I believe the service rep, Its not his/her fault. If a business has that kind of turnover and cant fix their problems, the fault lies with the poor management.
They mislead me once when buying a car on what was included. More recently they charged me $82 for an oil change. Theyve never charged me that much in the previous changes. They said oil prices had gone up and pointed to a small sign that they condescendingly implied I should have read. Eventually the manager did refund me $20 but Ill still go to the Pensacola dealership from now on. They charge about $30 less for the same service. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful! My situation was a bit complicated but Jonah and Raymond worked diligently to get my deal done, at a payment i am more than happy with, and into a vehicle I love!
Horrible service from car sales men to managers. No one acts professional. They take personal calls while sitting directly in front of the customers on there cell discussing whatever, cursing and girlfriend came up there clowning on a salesman, yes on the job!!! My husband and I left. they tried selling us a raggedy a.. car with holes in it for our daughter. They deserve no stars, I have to give one star in order to post this review. I will never, ever go back; and will not recommend them to anyone!!!
Had an appointment to get our Mazda looked at because check engine light is on. The appt was for 830. Havent heard anything. We called and they said we wont look at until after lunch. Why in the heck make the appointment for the morning. Bad service. Luckily we have another vehicle. What a way to spend your day off.
Although I didnt make a purchase during my visit, this was my experience before, during, and after: Very nice staff; No strong arming tactics; Listens concerning your vehicle needs; Good follow up
Car that I was looking at online was sold the same day that I was supposed to visit the lot. None of the other cars were suitable or within my price range, until the sales manager stepped out and joined us and offered a price wayyyyy below the online sales price. Thought it was too good to be true, so I took up on the deal. Not even a month after, a lot of problems started coming my way. A tire needed to be replaced. Another tire needed air. AC went out. Radio shut off randomly one time. CAR STOPPED WORKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. In addition to a list of very very pricy repair work that needs to be done when I took it to Toyota for what I thought was a typical servicing job. I was initially ecstatic with this purchase, but they clearly did not communicate the issues with this car, which placed me in an unknowingly unsafe situation. Definitely lack transparency with customers and I will not do business with them again in the future.
My grandmother has been buying cars from here for over 10 years now. The sales people are very nice, especially Troy. They make you feel extremely welcome here and their waiting room with TV and complimentary coffee and snack machines make having to wait here bareable. They always follow through with their warrantees and offer great service. Theyre definetly one of the places I will head to when searching for a car of my own one day.
I bought a used 2007 Ford E250 van. It was a great experience and they worked hard for us. Thank you Jeff Nunn General sales manager, Elmore finance manager and Cecil Russell salesman. Simply the best! Will refer other people!
This dealership has some well built vehicles ; With lots of quality, and they are fresh.
Prices are very high for service but quality has been great.
Erica was awesome and warm to us. We were given an awesome price and the right car for us
Awesome Kia Service Shop Manager, Polite, Friendly & Timely with Repairs & Cost of Labor
My wife and I recently purchased a new 2017 CX-5 from this dealership. The experience could not have been better. Ernie Archibald, the salesmen we worked with, was great. There was none of the high pressure sales tactics that we had become accustomed to in shopping for a new car in years past. We wanted the Touring trim in the soul red with the Preferred Equipment Package. They had one in inventory, but not with the package. They were going to place an order for exactly what we wanted (we were not in any rush), but then one turned up in another dealer inventory and they transferred it (dealer swap). We had done research on what was a good price for our area (TrueCar, Kelly Blue Book, etc.) and the price we paid was right at it. If you are in the market for a new Mazda, I would recommend giving them a visit and make sure to ask for Ernie.... and oh yea, we love our new CX-5.
Brought my mazda 6 up there to get it looked at on a Friday at 10am. they didnt look at it til the following Tuesday leaving it to get massive rain damage for 4 days due to the window not working. now they have the audacity to say that they are not gonna be responsible for it. gotta get a lawyer to sort this out. poor poor service. probably the worst.
The people were excellent at keeping me informed about my car. I was traveling and they got me in right away. I very much appreciated that.
Just bought a car from them see sales man Raymond Williams great customer satisfaction.
Never in my life have I been more disrespected as a customer and as a woman. I spent hours of my time going around and around in circles trying to purchase a vehicle with these folks. I told them numerous times what I wanted in a car and what I wanted my payments to be at. When I mentioned an option that I wanted, lets say a sunroof for example, the sales man, Ernie Archibald, would state That would really be a deal breaker for you. Really? Accompanied by a sour face as if I was crazy for wanting certain options in my vehicle, as if I wasnt about to drop $27,500 on a car that didnt have all the options I wanted. In the end I purchased a 2016 Mazda6 for 25k, coming to a grand, total of $27,200 after tax, tag, title, and fees (which, by the way, they only filled up the tank half way for me... when it only costs $28.00 to fill the entire tank). After being in the shop for so long (without being offered any snacks or even a drink of water) I just wanted to cut a deal and get the hell out. Having a bad gut feeling about this deal, I checked their website the following Monday and saw that the car I just purchased was listed at $19,395.00 (originally listed for 17,395.00 with cash or trade in equity, so I added that back to get to the 19,395.00)... ALMOST 6K LESS THAN WHAT THEY SOLD IT TO ME FOR. I immediately went up to the office (which was an hour drive for me) to work out a better deal. I was greeted by the Sales Manager, Jeff Nunn (Ernie, the man who sold me the car, did not greet me, did not look me in my eye, and did not say one word to me- thats a SURE sign that he knows he did wrong). When I mentioned to Jeff that he was dishonest with me about the price of the vehicle this man flew off the handle, yelling at me, calling me a shady customer and that my trade in was in terrible condition (and I add that he had a mechanic come and read the codes on the vehicle and inspect it before they made me an offer), and offering me my trade in vehicle back, which I gladly took because I refuse to do business with shady people. I was disrespected as a customer, I was lied to, and I was cheated out of my money. Jeff and the Dean McCrary team realized that they got caught cheating me out of my money and that they messed with the WRONG woman who would not let that slide. After speaking with the finance manager, Elmore, (who was honestly the best person in that whole place) he informed me that the 19,395.00 listed on the website was the incorrect price of the car and that in their computers it was listed at 21k. Over the course of the conversation he said to me, and I quote, Everyone has access to the internet. To get customers in the door we have to lower our internet price so that they will come to us. Well, if that isnt FALSE ADVERTISING & BAIT AND SWITCH then I dont know what is! THIS COMPANY IS INVOLVED IN ILLEGAL ACTIVITY AND ONLY WANTS TO CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY!! In the end, I had all of my paperwork voided and I happily drove away in my VW Jetta (my original trade in vehicle). I will NEVER do business with this company again after being treated this way and I will make sure that all of my family, friends, and friends of friends, never do business with Dean McCrary Mazda as well.
