Highly recommended! My car was making a weird sound, so I reluctantly looked up mechanics and chose to call this one. My experience by far exceeded my expectations. They said that I could bring it in right away for diagnostics. Both the receptionist and the mechanic, I think his name was Jonathan, were very friendly. He knew what the problem was in less than a minute and gave me good advice on what my options were. Great service!

I do not know cars, but when my truck would not go vroom vroom and started dripping strangle liquids and belt pullies, I knew who to call. Erber Auto got my truck back up and running within a week, even though the laws of physics and entropy strictly demanded that my car go to grave. Much like Frankensteins monster, my truck was revived and made to walk the world again even though it violates laws of nature. The dead horse walks to be beaten again.

Was stuck in Moscow. ID when freshly restored 1940 Ford PU had bolt fall out of trans. linkage so couldnt continue trip home. Dropped everything to analyze & repair trk. so could get home. GREAT GUY.

In a profession that is stereotypically dishonest, looking to take advantage, real integrity stands out.My cars engine needed to undergo some serious repair, they got me an estimate and got to work. The nature of the problem was such that it was difficult to diagnose with plenty of smoking guns along the way. The repair took longer than I would have liked, but that was due to the severity of the repair needed, not lack of effort or skill by the mechanics.When it was all said and done, they had put nearly DOUBLE the expected man hours into the job, but kept the bill within their original quote.Incredibly thankful for their workmanship and integrity.

Cant say enough about how excellent this place is. Travelling from Washington to Georgia when a piece of road debris flipped up and punched a hole in my gas tank. Aaaarrrgh. I know. This place took me in no notice managed to effect a temporary repair that worked perfectly to get me back on the road completely leak free. Charged me only thirty minutes. Amazing 😍👌👌👌👌. Usually as a traveller they see you coming - not this place. Couldnt have been any nicer more honest or more professional. If I lived here I would never go anywhere else. They should be totally proud of their business in every way possible.Update - made it home safe to Georgia and no leak in sight. Excellent work. Now to effect a permanent repair and replace the tank. Erber takes care of all of my automotive needs. They are incredibly talented, and nearly everything comes with a warranty, unless you use your own parts. I love the fact that I can bring in my own parts, and Erber will do the install. Theyre incredibly flexible, and very busy (which is a good thing). Their costs for labor and time are extremely fair. Theyre incredibly friendly and explain everything. What blew me away was when I took my car in, and they remembered my wife. Goes to show that Im not just another face. They value their customers. I will never go to another shop as long as I live on the Palouse.

My daughters vehicle wouldnt start. I called a tow truck and had it taken to Erber Auto after reading the great reviews here. I was glad to find them as I live out of town didnt know of a good repair shop in Moscow.I got a call later that day from Jonathan the owner. Apparently the Sunroof was left slightly cracked open enough that water had gotten in and run down into the kick panels on the drivers side. This shorted out the fuse box and kept the vehicle from starting.They charged the battery, dried out the wet electronics and it fired right up. This was a great diagnosis as you couldnt tell the sunroof was open by looking at it. The cost was very reasonable as well.I cannot recommend Jonathan and Erber Auto enough.

I cannot recommend this place enough. We wont go anywhere else in town (unless they recommend it), from an oil change to anything else. They go above and beyond to take care of you and get your vehicle back in shape quickly and reasonably priced. We had a trip coming up and needed a wheel bearing replaced. They were closed the next few days so called another place down the road for us and got us a quote and appointment for the very next day. Thats the best customer service I have received from any auto shop! And if you need a ride for a longer fix, theyll take care of you!

I have taken my cars to Jonathan since we moved to Moscow and I could not be more pleased with the service, the integrity, and the extremely reasonable prices. Most of all, I am impressed with their knowledge and the quality of the work thats been done on my vehicles every single time. Example: my son recently broke a ball joint and his car was disabled. My pickup died on saturday due to a bad fuel pump. Everyone recommended Erber Auto so i figured I would take my vehicle there. Jonathan updated me every step of the way and had me back on the road on Wednesday.

Once, in a fix, I slept in their parking lot overnight. My only complaint is that a pheasant woke me up with all its screeching at 4:30 in the morning! I suppose that was good though, since I was able to move along before the shopkeepers arrived. (full disclosure - Im related to one of shopkeepers)
