Bought a new car, paid 10k over invoice, no employee Discount, no GM credit card cash honored. I understand supply and demand, but as far as getting a repeat customer.... nope. Salesman was super nice though!
At first everything was good, made a quick sale at the price I needed to be at and after Van collected the money everything went down hill. I tried to buy accessories for the vehicle I had purchased and had a minor scheduling issue due o the fact I live several hours away from the dealership. After 3 months of trying to schedule I decided that the accessories were not needed. The car I had purchased was good as it is. The dealership refused to return my money and argued that is was my fault due to the scheduling issues. They protested that they would not return my money based on the fact that I was inconsiderate and uncooperative with them. During the scheduling process which led me to return the accessories I had purchased I would call several times daily and would never get a response back in a timely manner. I was very frustrated throughout the process never being able to get ahold of anyone responsible for installing the accessories. I received very poor customer service and will not be dealing with Van Chevrolet any more. It seems that this dealership is only interested in money and not the costumer. I have owned 13 new GM vehicles and 4 used and by far this dealer ship has one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Oil change and Multipoint vehicle inspection took almost 2-1/2 hours. I scheduled the appointment for 7:45 am so they wouldnt be behind. First, they didnt even have my appointment even though I received a confirmation email from them. At no time during my wait did anyone stop by to give me an update on the vehicle.They provide a complimentary car wash which was terrible. The windows were so bad, it looked like they tried to clean them with a dirty rag and no window cleaner.I have purchased vehicles from them for about 8 years, and I think Ill take my business elsewhere, at least the service business.
Amazing dealership this place treats you like an actual person. Only took 1.5 hours from start to finish. I Will be buying my second truck from this dealership in a few month. I’m very happy with the purchase of my 21 blazer. Also will be referring others to go here as well. Jenny is a boss at her job and really cares for her customers. Her amazing customer service will keep me coming back for sure.
My Service Advisor, David Rudzki, is absolutely the best! He takes the time to explain in detail any issues that may have been found and keeps me posted on the progress. He is the best and most important part of buying a vehicle at Van Chevrolet.
The Dealership service department put us in touch with Scott, they promised that he would take care of us and would get us a vehicle that fit our needs. When we arrived at the dealership staff was extremely friendly and seemed to all work together well and supported each other.Scott contacted me and was direct, and worked fast to get me the deal that I needed. I explained that I was busy and spread very thin, and I had almost no patience. Scott never wasted a minute of my time on something that wasnt relevant. He got me the truck I wanted and made the deal in less than a day.He also took time to make sure that the truck was clean, was safe, and had new tires on it before I picked it up the next day for my husbands birthday.I have purchased no less than 12 cars int he last 20 years or so and this was by far the easiest experience. Took vehicle in because of a weak battery and slow start. According to technician it needed a new battery cables and some other parts. After having vehicle for about a week and replacing Parts picked up vehicle and its still exhibited the same condition. Took vehicle back in told the service writer to replace the battery as that was the original problem and that was all that was needed. They replace the battery vehicle work fine. I was still charged over six hundred bucks for services that are not needed.
Very rude salesman who mocked me after I disagreed with him when he said that cars appreciate like real estate. Wanted $10k over sticker, I told him I wasn’t willing to pay $10k over sticker on a $74k truck, but that it was ok and that we didn’t need to do business if it didn’t make sense for both of us. I wished him the best with his business and then he proceeded to continue mocking me as if he had just hung the phone up.

My sales lady was Amazing.Finance not so much.Finance department sent my loan to GM financial without my knowing nor my permission. I only wanted it to go to my credit union. Now I have to refinance. Not happy with Finance department at all.

I haven’t had work/service done as of yet. I’ll be putting a new Vortec engine in my 2001 suburban, along with several other original equipment replacements on my vehicle. I’ve taken excellent care of my Suburban through the years so it merits this expense vs purchasing new. When work is completed I will know better the quality of service and value. Thus far Mr. Dave Rudzki has been professional, thorough, timely and succinct with information. I’ll be spending just south of $20K. Once work is completed I’ll be able to better evaluate the extensive work performed by your mechanic Drew.

When I make an online appointment for possible repairs, I expect to have my vehicle looked that day. Not be told it will take a few days just to diagnose the problem. I expect my appointment to be honored. If it takes a few days to actually do the repairs, I understand. Fortunately my service tech made sure my vehicle was looked at that day.

Terrible customer service. Purchased 2021 GMC Sierra. AM FM radio did not work. Been over 2 weeks waiting for a phone call from service department to schedule appointment. Never received a call. I called them to schedule appointment they told me 2 to 3 days to diagnose. I asked about a loaner vehicle they said none available. I asked how do I get to work they said dont know. I called another GMC dealership in the the valley they told me 1 day to diagnose and if they had to keep the vehicle they would provide a vehicle from Enterprise rental car. This dealership knows what customer service is. I had multiple issues with the purchase of my new truck from VANS Buick GMC. I WOULD NEVER HAVE BOUGHT FROM THEM if their wasnt a shortage on trucks. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM VANS BUICK GMC. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
My experience with Van Collision from top to bottom was the best! In particular dealing with Randy Johnson was seamless and Glenn in the shop who did the repair. Randy and Glenn had owned their own shops and their expertise made me happy I chose Van Collision to work on my baby...Corvette!

This experience was great it was a little longer than I expected. The 2 times I have worked with Adam have been good experiences. If I will recommend this dealer, I am not too sure. I have had two issues (still bothers me) and no manager has ever contacted me after I was asked if I wanted the manager to contact me.
This is the letter that I sent to our service representative on 10/3/21. This explains our dissatisfaction. Please have a service manager contact me ASAP. I got no response to my email sent on 10/3/21.Dear Tim Hodder and John Felt:I am writing this letter to you both, since I just received this email (10/3/21) from Tim explaining that Onstar detected that we have 6% of our oil life left. Tim is suggesting that we sign up for an oil change. If this is true, then I need to let you know that we are utterly disappointed with Van Chevrolets service. We picked our Volt up from the service department on Friday 10/1/21. It had been there for 3 days. At the time of pick up, we had to request the Multi-Point Inspection report card, since it was not given to us. It reported that our oil was fine. There was no mention of it having dropped to 6.7% of its oil life. You should have a copy of this. If you dont, I can forward it to you. I would assume that the service technician and our representative have a way to see the same information that Onstar has concerning the percentage of our Volts oil life remaining. When the car was in for service, this should have been told to us, so that the oil change could be done.Also, as mentioned, we picked up our car on Friday. On Saturday, the low tire pressure light came on and Onstar sent me a message that my tire pressure was low. The tires were all at 30-32 psi. I had to fill them up to the 36 psi that was listed on the inner car door. When the Volt was dropped off on 9/29, John noted that our tires were wearing abnormally, so we needed an alignment. Therefore, we agreed to have it done. It is my understanding that filling the tires to the appropriate level is the first step in alignment. It makes me question what kind of quality of service and attention to detail was involved with the work done. Unfortunately, the section of the report card pertaining to the tires and brakes was left blank. Was that part of the inspection even done?The time involved and logistics of getting the car to you and then picking it up is difficult. So, to hear that our Volt needs to go back in for a service that should have been done is a disappointment.The whole experience has been less than ideal. John requested that he wants all positive results on his survey. I refuse to do this unless we have someone contact us and figure out a way to apologize and get the proper care for our car. Hands-down best car buying/leasing experience ever! My current GMC terrain lease was coming to an end so I was in search of same vehicle and the same payment. I reached out to about five or six dealerships and nobody had the inventory nor could get the payment to where I needed it. I reached out to Van and spoke to Rufus. I spoke to him on a Wednesday evening and by Thursday we were at Van GMC picking up our new car! I told Rufus exactly what we needed the kind of car we were looking for and the payment we had to stay within. And he made it happen! There was no sales pitches and no nonsense he wanted to find us exactly what we needed and he did. That Thursday we went and met him and he was wonderful as was all of the staff at van GMC. He found discounts and rebates I did not even know existed. My husband is a law-enforcement officer and there was actually a first responders discount that we easily signed up for through GMC and got extra money off the car! again I would have no idea about that but Rufus knew! The process was so smooth and easy and hassle free. Everything from signing the paperwork to financing it was all smooth sailing thanks to Rufus and the entire team. We cannot thank you enough and we are so happy with our purchase!

My wife had a front passenger seat belt problem. The belt was pulled out and your dealership allegedly tried to repair but said it had to be replaced. So, Van ordered the part and my wife drove home. She pulled on the belt several more times and it corrected itself. Had your dealership actually tried to fix, we would never have ordered the part. THEN, she calls Jason to advise we fixed it ourselves and to refund the $197 seat belt unnecessary PART, it took 3 months to be credited for the PART and only after I HAD TO CALL Jason. I have purchased 9-10 Suburbans and Tahoes from Van Chevrolet. I really hoped we would be treated better.

From the time I came in to the time my vehicle was done I received polite, quick and precise service.
We were on vacation in Scottsdale from out of state and were told our running lights and brake lights were out. We called the Van dealership service department at around noon on a Saturday and Andrew told us to bring our Yukon in and he could get it fixed the same day but they closed at 4. We got there around 2 pm and by 3:30 it was fixed and we were on our way, better yet, it was under warranty. I was shocked they would/could do that with such short notice. Thank you so much! I was really impressed with their ”can do” attitude instead of the usual excuses of why it can’t be done, so prevalent today. Far exceeded my expectations and experience with dealerships in the past.

I received exemplary service at Van Chevrolet. I took a used vehicle in from another dealer to have it inspected prior to buying it. I received a detailed report of what all needed to be done. I then took that report back to the original dealer and renegotiated my deal to include the cost of fixing everything. I live 45 minutes away, but I will drive past 4 other Chevy dealerships to get my vehicle serviced only at Van Chevrolet now. Thanks for such a great experience.

What a joke. Its been 20+ years since Ive bought an American car, and moving to Phoenix I decided to give GMC a try. I arranged to purchase a new truck and was told they would hold it for me. We arranged a day and time for me to come in, pay cash for it, and take possession. So I show up, ask to see it, and was told they didnt actually have the vehicle. Yet they had the gall to ask me to sign the paperwork and hand over a check.A nice reminder dealing with American dealerships hasnt changed in 20+ years. Fortunately the BMW dealership down the street was a no-nonsense, no-BS operation. Enjoying my new BMW, and enjoying relaying this story to my new friends in Phoenix!
Im not sure what happened this visit but heres what happened. At check in I was not informed of what was going to occur on my car. During my wait, I was not checked in with or updated, all the while all other clients were. At check out I was told that my car had 2 recalls, I stated that I already did 2 recalls and asked if these were different, and the response was Im not sure I guess these were different. In my completed text it stated that my car was washed and ready for pu, it was not washed. Definitely not satisfied with this experience and not what I expected.

We came in from out of state because our car was squealing and we didn’t know if it was safe to drive. The service department managed to work us in and repaired the problem in a couple days even though they were very busy.
Jenny and the team are amazing! They treated me so well after AutoNation had me finance a truck and then sold it out from under me then lied to me about it being a “special order” for another dealer. Jenny and her team are straight to the point. No BS, no lying, no giving me the run around for 5 weeks like their competitor did.
In the most recent service visit, I requested for the 22,500 mile service to be completed as this is what was recommended, but the only thing I received was an oil change and the DEF top off. Speaking of the DEF top off, I have driven maybe 250 miles and I’m already receiving the notification that my DEF fluid is low. That just tells me that the appropriate amount of DEF fluid was not added to my tank. Also, on the previous visit prior to this one, I had to have my overhead console repaired as it was separating from the headboard. Once again, my overhead console is separated from the headboard and I can hear either loose hardware or broken pieces rattling in the overhead console. Another issue is the fact that my dash now is constantly rattling near the windshield and can be heard through the air vents. Needless to say I have been very unsatisfied with my last two visits to Van’s Service Department, and I would like to discuss resolutions for these issues before I take my business elsewhere.
Excellent salesman Colby Pulsifer, helped smooth the transaction while allowing me one time to decide on color with. But just as good id the Sales Manager, who was easy to deal with to put in my GM supplier discount (Honeywell) and GM card savings of $4023. Unlike another dealer that made things very difficult playing a shell game. That is why I left without the deal and went to Van .....Thanks for honest smooth no BS transaction.

Called to have my vehicle scheduled to be serviced a had requested a loaner vehicle for the time it would be in the shop four days to be excact, they had informed me that there where no loner vehicles to be lended and that my best bet would be to rent a car. Against my better judgement (believing that this is to be provided to vehicle being serviced still under warranty) I went abroad and rented a vehicle with a total cost of 285.00 for three days of use. upon receiving the car back after it had the work done I checked the coolant levels 3 days later to see if the problem persisted to my surprise the levels of coolant where low again so I consulted with another shop and came to the assumption that maybe they hadnt bled the air or burped the system so I filled it and watched it closely to my eye it looked good for a week but then I started seeing the coolant levels drop again so I am not satisfied with the work or the purchase I have made on the 2019 Chevy Trax I have had nothing but cooling problems from the beginning at 30,000 miles it had to be serviced for this reason and again at 50,000 miles my first experience with the dealership was superb no issues even offer me a loaner after having to haggle with them about it, But all in all it was successful with service and work done.but I am continuing to have these cooling issues and the car is still in the 50,000 mile range and continues to have issues after being serviced. Not A satisfied customer and I dont think Ill be recommending them to anyone and I will continue to tell others of the negative experience I have endured while working with Scottsdale Van Chevrolet.

We came in looking for a used vehicle. Sales rep couldnt find the keys to 3 of the 4 and we couldnt locate the vehicle the 4th key belonged to. Not a lot of stock. We ended up with a new Equinox. I have always liked the vehicle since 2014 when we loaded 2 parents, 3 HS softball players, ice chest and all the girls equipment in it.

This was my second time purchasing a vehicle from Van Chevrolet/GMC. The sales and finance staff were on point with the needs and expectations I stated. However, I was highly disappointed in the lack of care and effort shown in regards to prepping a car to be sold and put back on the lot. My car was absolutely filthy inside, filled with glitter, dust, and dog hair all over. Not to mention all the pine needles and seeds that were in my trunk and hood areas. The seats have blatantly obvious stains, and dog slobber all over the inside of the back window. It looked just as it did on their site, when it stated, just in. Looks like that was literal, and just put back on the lot to sell without being touched whatsoever. I did notice that the car had some scrapes along the side and back, that I was told would be taken care of. However, I am still waiting to have an answer back as to when they can fix what shouldve been done before selling the car. I was told that their system went out and was hacked and that was why they are delayed... they were also stating that is not something that they normally would do for a used car, which is complete nonsense. On top of a filthy car and near empty gas tank, I probably wont use them again. I was also sold some stupid AZ package that they claim covered tinted windows and paint stuff, which it didnt need, since the car already had tinted windows to begin with, obvious of the dog slobber all over them. This review has nothing to do with sales and customer service issues, but more to do with service and reconditioning of the cars that come and go from their lot. I shouldve never been sent off the lot in a dirty, undetailed car with no gas, with prior damage that shouldve been taken care of from the get go. I am still waiting to get my car in to get the scrapes out, detailed and waiting as well, on the clear protective film for the front-end, that the company across the street from the dealer is supposed to take care of. 🙄

Three years ago my Pontiac vibe required some very minor work. I took it to the van based on a recommendation from a friend. The treatment that I received from the service manager made me think that he had confused me with a fleet buyer or some other major customer. I was provided with a beautiful loan vehicle and literally overwhelmed with courtesy. I am literally looking forward to bringing my car in for a recall notice that I received from General motors and will also have some nonessential work done. Van is not my closest GM dealer yet I can guarantee That my next vehicle will be purchased at Van. Sincerely, John Schultz
Adam does a great job. excellent communication and updates during our visit. Its also very welcoming to see the service manager (i think his name is Tim) as you pull up thanking you for trusting his team with your vehicle.
After my previous review I was directed to call Anna or Becky. I left a message on Saturday, its Thursday and I have not received a call back.Cool.
I began my vehicle purchase online through Click Sign & Drive. The sales professional Ahmed Al-Khafaji was attentive and friendly. I applaud Ahmed’s hard work in dealing with my negotiations.
Worst experience. I wouldnt recommend them at all.I purchased a vehicle from them and it was a nightmare. They called me to pick up the vehicle. I waited two hours for them to finally acknowledge my presence only to have them hand me a key and tell me they didnt have the vehicle detailed, fueled, and the other key was checked out. I had to come back for both of those. A few days later they did the detailing, but said they lost the key. A week later they finally were able to schedule an appointment for a new key. They apologized of course and said theyd take care of me, not sure what that was supposed to mean because nothing. In addition, I have not received any of my paperwork after a month! They have given me every excuse including the scanner was broken.

What a joke. Set up appointment to see a Denali, drive 45 minutes to get there and they sold it just as Im walking in. You can not do business like this. Then they try to sell me something I do not want. Have me wait for nothing. Van needs to be honest with customers. In my opinion this is very dishonest way to treat customers. Save yourself a waste of time go somewhere else. VERY DISHONEST!!!!!
Jacob was awesome, I came in for my first oil change/tire rotation on my leased equinox and he went over everything with me. He was very professional, and apologetic that it took some time. I had it done on a Saturday and I understand that Saturday’s are busy.
Our experience was great! Gerardo made sure to show us many different options for trucks and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I would definitely come back to this dealership!
Had an appointment to get the oil changed on my car, the job was simple however in my experience the way simple jobs are handled is a pretty good indicator of how bigger jobs are handled. John Morris made sure everything was as it should be and took time to make sure I was satisfied even though it was not a very big ticket for him.
