This is literally the most unprofessional business I have ever stepped foot in. I went in and was told to email my insurance quote. I emailed the same day and did not get a response. I emailed them 4x in addition to this first email and never got a response. I called and was told to bring the car in on xx week. I called in the morning and they still apparently did not even have my parts but that I could still bring the car in. In what world does that make sense to do? It has been 4 months and apparently my parts are still on back order?? Where are you trying to get these from? The moon? I called Gerber Collision Center and they have me scheduled within 4 weeks with the parts arrived. Kaizen is a joke of a business.
This is by far the best experience I have ever had with a body shop. From the day I went in, Nicole and Cody were so welcoming and accommodating. The work they did on my car is so perfect. I couldn’t be happier because every promise they made was kept. They fixed my car in a timely manner and made sure everything looked great!
This team has been very accommodating, good customer service & Jim has been wonderful to work with. When you are in an accident and need repairs it can be a frustrating experience & they gave me great service, answered all my questions and were very kind. My car was taken here by the Tempe Tesla service center for some delivery paint issues that we needed addressed. One of the primary issues was the paint drips from the factory on the rocker panels. This shop simply sanded the paint drips down to the substrate of the rocker panel and didn’t feel the need to repaint or even attempt to seal the area. I would be very concerned with having this team handle more complex jobs if something this simple is neglected to this level. Since then, I have been told my vehicle is ready for pick up several different times and each time I show up to review the quality of work Im disappointed. From paint overspray over different parts of the vehicle to mismatched panels and even dimpling of the paint on multiple surfaces. Nearly 2 months have passed since Tesla and Kaizen have had my vehicle and nobody seems to know when my vehicle will be ready for me to pick up.
As a medical doctor, my life revolves around my car. I am grateful for all the individuals that took the time to help, to get my Tesla, Model X back to me. I had a little accident with my falcon wing door, and eventually they had to replace the entire door, take it to tesla for calibration, and eventually detail and give the car back to me. This job did take about 2 months, but this is understandable in that replacement of an entire Falcon wing door does take substantial amount of time.The excellent service that I received, came from everyone, from the parts department, to the service technicians, but I want to acknowledge one person you took the time to answer all my questions/concerns.Thank you immensely to Cody Cookston.He is an excellent/phenomenal addition to Kaizen Collison.He took the time to make me feel like family, made sure my car was well taking care of, and explained every little detail of the work that was going into my car. He regularly kept me updated. Each customer may have a different review about a business, but my review on this business is excellent as that is the service that I received. When I received my car back, I was impressed with the work, but I was more so impressed with Cody and his professionalism.Thank you to the entire team again for working on my car. I highly do recommend their service. Thank you again Cody for making me feel like family. And thank you also to Jake the owner, for taking the time to reach out to me.
Appaling customer service. Unsafe handling of vehicle.Called and scheduled an appointment because they sat on the insurance referral for a week and appently their main office didnt tell this location of said apt. So after showing up I was told they had no record of the appointment and i had to come back in 2 weeks. Then the Friday before my monday appointment, 3.5 weeks after the insurance referral they call me asking me to schedule my insurance drop off.I had to remind them we had it scheduled for the upcoming monday.So finally drop it off 9/20, i fill out all the paperwork ect. Get no weekly updates. But i know things take time so i figure ill call 10/1 except in passing my son tells a friend he cant wait ro get his car Saturday. Come to find out they didnt bother calling me as i requests but told a minor, not on the account, or authorized in paperwork, or title, the status of the repairs.So i make it clear how upset i was woth this issue, that said updates are to come to me.Well i get a call 10/1 that the car was picked up by my wife (I dont have one of those). She knew make and model and paid the deductible. Certainly not on title, not on insurance, not in any paperwork. Gave the car to a stranger with cash. Didnt call me to say its ready, didnt call me to verify a 3rd party had permission to take the vehicle.I would not advise anyone to use this highly unprofessional shop.
I would trust these people. I’ve been in an hit n run and cannot afford my deductible, they were understanding, and took a thorough look at my car. When I wanted to get my own parts, they told me they won’t paint it for me to avoid trouble, they stand behind their work. If I didn’t have a $2000 deductible, I would definitely go to them.
They are great! My experience here was wonderful, easy and quick. Someone backed into my car while it was parked and I needed a new door. Kaizen Collision had it repaired in 3 days! I will be recommending them to everyone. Thank you, Kaizen!
Ive never wished for a negative star option more. Lack of communication & professionalism. My car has been in repair since 14Sept for some minor damage. I spoke to my contact, Bill H., a total of 2 times despite leaving countless messages. When I picked my car up today, he was rude to the receptionist when she called him to the front (he hadnt provided her my folder), didnt thank me or offer any explanation. Simply said youre car is right there & left. Absolutely unbelievable!! This shop was my dealerships preferred partner so this will be relayed on to them as well. Unacceptable to say the least! Find another shop folks!!
I just picked up my Honda CRV from Kaizen Collision Center and WOW, it looks just like it did the day I drove it off the Honda lot!!!!!!!!!! Your customer service was first class from the time I pulled up to bring in my car, to this morning when I returned to get my car. Weve had to use this shop twice on our Tesla Model 3 and both times, the staff was superior and the workmanship was beyond EXCELLENT!
If you are looking to get your Tesla vehicle body repair after an accident, please take it somewhere else because this place is taking 5 1/2 months and still not done. So DO NOT take your Tesla there.
After getting backed into, my whole passenger side pretty much needed replacing. As soon as the insurance company claimed responsibility Jim was out to my apartment the same day to take a look at what needed to be done. He told me I could just drop it by anytime so they could order the parts and get it going. They kept me updated in what needed to be done and wanted to make sure I liked everything they did. Everyone I came into contact with was so nice and helpful. Thank you for making my first accident not such a bad experience!

Came here to drop off my vehicle and no one was wearing mask at all, honestly felt uncomfortable. Hope they at least fix my vehicle up good.
I am a stickler for high level customer service with communication being the first indicator of good service. Jacob and his team went above and beyond my expectations. I received a phone call within minutes of submitting my online quote request. I was really surprised as it was 4:45pm on the Thursday before a holiday Friday. The online request system was super easy to submit photos of my damaged fender. I was very pleased with the daily communication I received via phone call, text, or e-mail keeping me informed of my cars progress. They delivered on time and as quoted. No delays and no surprise charges. My car was spotless upon return. I recommend Kaizen without hesitation to anyone looking for repair work.
I brought my 2016 Toyota Tundra here for body work as I was backed into. I needed a whole new rear bumper and hitch. My bumper was color matched not chrome so I was worried about there being a noticeable difference with the new bumper. It’s perfect!! They did an asking job from beginning to end and I would absolutely use them again and refer everyone I know to them! Best body shop in the game period!! They were very communicative throughout the process and I never felt like I was being misinformed or just another customer.

I normally do not write my experiences about a business but I can not find the words to express the amazing job these people did on my daughters wrecked car. As a mother you worry for the safety of our children and from the day I had Kaizens team take over my daughters car I was so at ease. They communicated every step of the way. They knew she needed her vehicle asap since she commutes from Avondale to Tempe for classes. They not only did a superb job on her car but worked fast to get it to her quickly. Jim, Jacob and the team at Kaizen do not only repair your vehicles but they care and they stand by their work. I would NEVER USE ANYBODY else. Someone hit my truck while at a stop light which sucked. I called around to a few collision repair centers and decided to go with Kaizen because of the positive reviews. Over all the quality the did when repairing my truck was great and very professional. Ill be recommending my family and friends to this company.
I had an absolutely horrible experience with Kaizen and would not recommend this shop or their customer service to any of my friends or family. When I went to pick up my vehicle after an accident the new OEM bumper looked terrible and needed detailing, they didnt replace a part that clearly should have been replaced and was on my estimate from insurance, and their paint edges looked terrible. It took two more attempts of picking it up and noticing other issues before the work was good enough to take it home. There were repeatedly apparent issues and the rep responded by acting like I was the problem, blankly asking me did you look over your vehicle this closely when you purchased it?. The answer is yes, but the question is irrelevant, rude and a condescending attempt for me to accept low quality repairs.I wasted so much time and energy working with them. I had good experiences speaking with Jim upfront and Arse at the front desk was plenty nice. That doesnt make up for the rude comments from who I worked with, the poor quality, and my wasted time, energy and frustration.
They did a great job repairing and painting a door on my Ram. Excellent work for a fair price, and very nice folks. Highly recommended!
Took my car to have it repaired over THREE months ago. They gave my insurance co. an estimate and they were paid that amount, but prior to any repairs being done, the insurance adjustor declared that my vehicle was a total loss instead. They have continuously lied, originally stating that they paid my insurance company back on Jan. 9. As of today, Feb 28, they STILL have not reimbursed my insurance company and therefore, my vehicle has not been paid off. There is only ONE person to speak to in accounting who just conveniently is never in the office and has never returned a phone call to me or my insurance company. I was standing IN the shop and they had the gall to state that their shop can no longer cut checks, but that it has to be done by the corporate office. I called them from home to ask where their corporate office was located and the receptionist stated, Yea, were corporate. ANOTHER bold faced lie! I was physically in the office and they said they couldnt take care of the problem because they werent corporate. Im being forced to pay TWO car payments every month due to the greedy, indifferent, terrible, NON service this company provides. PLEASE dont subject yourselves to these people. Dont EVER go there. The sad thing is that my mechanic, who does excellent work for fair prices,referred me to them, but Im definitely letting him know how they operate.

Paint looks like horrible and my light is not in the right place. If I actually paid 4000 bucks for a bumper and light I would be super upset. On top of that the promised the car would be done early..... It was a week over due.

Dropped my vehicle off over a month ago, they used scare tactics to convince me to leave a perfectly drivable vehicle and told me it would be done in about three weeks. Since then, they have done nothing to keep me informed or contact me whatsoever. Ive had to call them constantly to get any kind of information about whats going on with my vehicle. Once they have the money from your insurance company, theyll put you on hold or connect you too voicemail boxes and never actually talk to you. The service writer Ive been dealing with has been deliberately dishonest with both my insurance company as well as myself, and completely unaccountable for the unreasonable amount of time its taken. They havent returned my phone calls or given me any update for almost two calendar weeks now. I would trust a two-headed rattlesnake before I would ever trust anyone at this company again..

Was in a fender bender a few weeks ago and needed to get some work done. Although it took a bit of time for the parts to come in (not their fault) they were pretty quick in getting the car done. Work was top notch and car looks new again.
