This team literally saved us in every way!! On a Thursday night our daughters car wouldn’t start and was towed in the middle of the night to Tyson’s Jeep. When I called in the morning to check on it, their lovely and kind receptionist Yahayra, help guide us in the right direction. She directed me to our amazing service associate Victor! Victor was wonderful to work with, honest and communicative. Not to mention, instead of trying to charge us for a million extra unnecessary things, he was honest, straight up, and saved us all unnecessary charges!! Actually saved us money by helping find someone who could use and take the unused and unneeded fuel that was put in the car by accident! Fabulous experience! They assessed our car on Friday and we had it back the following Monday! Amazing. Thank you!!
From beginning to end the service was on point from the valet to the actual service. Carl was the advisor who called to let me know the time and the additional services needed which he was very polite, professional & very knowledgeable. His explanation was very precise to detail. Koons has been repetitively calling me to come in for a recall for months. I usually decline. I had recently needed a new tire so when they called the most recent time I scheduled an appointment for the recall and to replace the tire.I showed up on time, at 10am. Three house later they said they were done with my car. They informed me that they replaced the tire but I will need to come in again to have the recall fixed.I asked, why did I just waste three hours for? Why didnt they fix it now.I was told that they had to inspect the recalled part to see if they needed a replacement part, but didnt have the part to replace it in stock. I would need to reschedule to come back in.I am livid. The only reason Koons would have me come in a second time and not have the part in stock is because they do not value my time. Logistically there is no reason for me to come in twice. They simply do not care about my time.If this was the first unpleasant incident I had with Koons Tysons I wouldnt take the effort to write this review but its not.I needed a new transfer case that was under warranty. I took my Jeep in and it sat at the dealership for six months without being worked on.After six months of waiting I went to investigate what was taking so long, and I found out they hadnt even ordered the part yet.I confronted the employee and he told me they werent in stock and were coming from Mexico. I called the parts department and they told me they had them in stock in the Midwest and it would take only three days to ship.I love Jeeps. Ive had five Jeeps in my life, but this experience has turned me off to the whole brand.This is the last Jeep I will own. Good job Koons.P.S. I bought the Jeep from Koons Tysons too.
I was met promptly by service rep and service completed as promised. Customer lounge area clean and neat and coffee and snack readily available. Helpful advice on vehicle feature settings also cordially provided.
My experience at Koons (Ive now been twice) has been less than satisfactory. I was in an accident in December 2020 and had my car towed to Koons for repair (the front left tire assembly was badly damaged and needed to be replaced). The communication with them was less than great (conflicting information when I called, slow to respond at times), and the entire repair took much longer than expected, but given that it was over the holidays, I could understand and gave them a pass. Got my car back in mid-January.Fast forward to months later. The specific portions of my car that they fixed began to fail. Car was making a horrible creaking noise at the point where they performed the prior repair, and it felt like my tire was going to fall off. I took my vehicle to two different shops who identified similar lists of issues (3 or 4 things wrong with the tire assembly of my car, all of which should have been fixed by Koons the first time). I had the car towed to Koons at the suggestion of my insurance company (otherwise, I would need to pay out of pocket). Koons said they would look at it. This investigation took nearly two weeks, and more than a week after I was told the investigation was already done. They said they would contact my insurance company but did not do so.Koons then came back with an answer that only one thing was wrong with the car, and it was a remnant from the original accident and nothing having to do with work they did previously. They specifically disagreed with the two prior shops findings; while I am sure reasonable mechanics can disagree, it felt like Koons was trying to cover themselves and not admit that they did not fix things properly the first time. But as I needed my car fixed, I had them get to work on it.It then took Koons another two weeks to perform a repair that I was told would take one day. All the while, multiple messages left with my contact at Koons (both e-mail and voice mail) were never returned. It was not until I had my insurance company lean on supervisors at Koons that I started getting some responses.I picked up my car two days ago, and Koons *did* fix the one issue they said they would (replaced tire rods), but the underlying issues were never addressed. My car still is very creaky in the drivers side corner, so I am sure that whatever is wrong will continue to get worse when I have to get the tie rod replaced again in a matter of months.Id love to go back to Koons and talk with the mechanics and show them the issues and have them look again. But I just cant deal with the hassle of the poor communication and lengthy delays. I will find a new shop to actually address the problems that remain. I will probably need to pay out of pocket, and while I cannot afford that, I also cannot afford to be deprived of my car for some unknown length of time simply to have the issues never addressed properly.Dealing with a damaged car is frustrating already. Koons added to that frustration.
Had my car towed in and dropped off over night, had a call from Victor first thing in the morning! Everything got ordered quick and I had my car back in no time, better than ever! The service team at Koons Dodge Chrysler & Jeep is unmatched, 10/10 for their customer service!
My van nearly overheated while passing through the Tysons area while I was returning to PA on a work trip. I did not let the van overheat or shutdown due to the temperature though. I used roadside assistance to have the van towed to Koons Chrysler Dodge in Tysons. I regret having chosen their service dept. with roadside assistance. It became clear that their main interest was making me trade in my van for a newer vehicle. The first communication I got from them the next morning (after having to find a place to stay for the night) was a text saying that my van was valuable and if I wanted an estimate.The service group called me 2 hours later and said Id need to agree to pay $186 just for them to tell me what the results of their diagnostics were. They had already done the diagnostic before they called me. They said my car wouldnt start, though the tow truck driver started it to pull it onto and off of the bed of that truck the night before. They said my tipm was bad, and a couple coolant lines on the back of the engine needed replacing, which would cost $2971 and take until the next day to do. According to my service specialist the above work had to be done before they could even tell what actually wrong.I asked them to give me a quote for trade in or if they would outright purchase the van. I did not get a response on the quote until 6 hours later.I had to pay that $186 dollar and another $500 to have the van towed back to PA to my usual service professional. The car again started right up for the tow truck driver and for the service team in PA. The service team up in PA told me that the repairs that Koons said were needed in no way should cost me as much as I was quoted, and that they were trying to gouge me, either to buy another vehicle or because I was stuck far from home. I feel like I was lied to, and they tried to take advantage of my situation. I will tell as many people as I can about my experience and about how shady this dealership is.
I made an 8am appointment at Koons Chrysler & Jeep, Service department. I arrived on time. The staff happily greeted me and checked me in right away. I decided to wait and was escorted to the waiting area that was clean and had up to date items such as a charging station for your phone, fresh coffee, comfortable chairs, mini telework areas and a big screen TV. My Service Technician Kelvin was extremely professional. It took less than 2 hours from the time I arrived until check out.
I am a fan of Koons Tysons Chrysler Jeep Service center ever since we bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee years ago. Yes, I could take my Jeep to other- closer service centers near me in Arlington, VA. But have always been very happy with the service from the staff and technicians.Stephanie in the service department has always been very helpful, makes sure service is done well, given me a loaner car if needed. Once when trying to get a tire company to fulfill their part on a warranty, she worked very hard to get it taken care of. Which in my book- goes above and beyond to help me as a customer.I will continue to recommend Koons to friends- who have also purchased jeeps from Koons. As well as be a loyal customer- who plans to buy my next Jeep with them too.
Yes the mini van is fixed and I am grateful. it’s strange though, the original estimate was $8900 but after finding out I could use my extended warranty it was fixed worth $1303 which I paid $100 deductible. It took almost 2 weeks to work thru the process and no rental car reimbursement. I did get a shuttle ride home thank you
I was initially very intimidated by bringing my recently purchased used jeep to the dealership for service. After being helped by Stephanie in their service department, I was so relieved and had all of my problems fixed promptly while also having access to a rental while I waited for repairs. Stephanie was also extremely communicative and transparent throughout the process. If you have the opportunity, ask for her! She made the whole process amazing and I’ll definitely be returning for any future service needed!

I use Koons regularly to service my Jeep. Last year they started offering a complimentary valet service where they will pick up and drop off your vehicle for service, and I have never been happier with getting my car worked on. It’s such a wonderful option, it makes it a no brainier for me on who to use. The customer service was wonderful as well, they kept me up to date on what was going on given I brought it in for a random squeaking issue, and with the valet drop off and pick up.
Worked with victor in service the first time I brought my new vehicle in, he was very nice! Came back this week to get brake pads replaced and worked with Kevin since victor wasn’t there. Kevin was very polite, timely, and updated me throughout the whole process. I didn’t mind the wait for the quality work.
My Jeeps rear camera has been working on-and-off for the past year. Ive taken it in two times before to be fixed but nothing was permanent, but third times a charm. I took it in last week and it was finally fixed! Kelvin was my service rep and took great care of me, was respectful of my time, and sensitive to my frustrations.I will return for my next service appointment.
Took my vehicle in twice to fix Jeep soft top. Both times returned with no work done and referred to upholster to fix zipper on soft top. I ended up figuring out to fix it myself. Thankfully they didn’t charge me but lost time to take it to dealer twice

My car is manual and the emergency brake malfunctioned. When I dropped my car off, I thought I’d be without it for a day or two, but due to several parts being on back order, it took 2 weeks to fix.That’s two weeks without a vehicle.Two weeks that I was inconvenienced.When I asked for a loaner vehicle after 7 days, that request was denied. If the service is delayed for a significant amount of time, which in this case it was, I think providing a loaner vehicle should be standard practice. This is the only reason I did not give them 5 stars.
Koons did three different warranty repairs in a professional manner, with no debate on coverage. Kelvin, my service manager, was a pleasure to deal with and explained things in detail.
Great experience, first time there I moved up from Florida. I went in to get my tires put on that I purchased there and a oil change. They had me in and out in no time. Most ram dealers would have you there all day. Not Koons. I will definitely be back.

While I have to drive my fare share of miles to get to Koons Tysons Jeep, it is definitely worth the effort. Scott Wasserman was my salesman and i just can’t say enough about him. Did everything in his power to land me the deal i wanted. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Professional, knowledgeable, polite and genuine all the way around. That’s saying something for a car salesman in itself based on the reputation they have on the street. I have had MANY cars in my life and have done this process too many times to count. I would go back to Scott in a heartbeat.However, during the process of the deal i had to deal with a sales manager named Justin who was THE WORST! I not only brought my deal to the table but brought a buyer for my trade in. So two deals for one basically. This guy was cocky, arrogant, rude and downright obnoxious. It was very close to being not just one lost deal but 2. The only reason it went through with it was because of Scott.Again, if you are in the market….you won’t be sorry you went to Scott!!

I opted for a valet service for my first oil change on my brand new Rubicon. I never had the time to go and drop off the Jeep at the dealership. I had couple of emails/calls to confirm my valet appointment by the dealership. They were very prompt with my request and valet service saved me tons of time ( I WFH due to pandemic). Kevin Garcia called me as soon as my Jeep reached the dealership. He offered me extra free services like tire rotation/brake pad check etc etc. I received my Jeep after service the same day. I am very happy with the service they gave me. 10 stars for Kevin Garcia for a follow up call too. The valet service is totally free too, all in all, I am very happy with my recent service at this dealership.
Service manager, Victor, was wonderful. Dropped off my car and waited inside. The whole thing lasted less than an hour. Very pleased with the whole process.
My windshield washers werent working, the check engine light was staying on, the airbag warning light was on. Diagnosis was a failed seal in the drivers side door had allowed water to leakin and corrode a power distribution relay. When the vehicle was returned to rme, theysaid they had replaced the relay, cleaned the drains, repaired the washer nozzles and allwas fixed. It wasnt. the right side windshield washer worked but the left side didnt and the airbag warning light was still on.

I always get great service here and each time it gets even better. What was supposed to be a quick brake pad change and new oil quickly turned into something more when their eagle eyed technicians spotted problems with leaks stemming from a broken gasket and tubes. I can always count on them to keep my Chrysler running it’s best and not stuck on the side of the road. Awesome customer service every time! I have always found the service department at Koons Jeep to be excellent. I owned an Audi prior to my Jeep and thought the service at Audi was great, and I feel the service at Koons is in line with the same quality of service as Audi. And when you compare the cost of an Audi and a Jeep, it’s impressive to receive such excellent service from a less expensive brand.
I had car trouble on my way to work and had to immediately pull into Koons dealership for a mechanic to look at it. They were able to get me in right away and Kelvin was very concise and professional, he answered all of my questions before I was able to ask them. Everything went smoothly and just as they told me it would, it was a great experience at a stressful time.

This has been the most pleasant experience that Ive ever had when it comes to getting my car serviced. From making the appt to waiting in the lounge while my car was serviced. The technician was knowledgeable about my service contract and saw that I was due for some other maintenance checks and services so he suggested that I let him do those as well all at no cost. Thanks Taher, for saving me a second trip 2 weeks down the line! Customer service is friendly and efficient, the lounge is clean, setup with social distancing and free wifi! Most chairs had small table tops so I could get work done comfortably on my laptop while waiting. Wouldnt go anywhere else!🙂

I bought a Brand New 2017 Jeep from Koons in 1/2017 and have done the scheduled maintenance on the vehicle. Since owning the car it it has had a brand new transmission installed in 10/2020, a new battery after two years, the passenger seat fixed because it would not recline and now 1/2021 the car has decided to stop working while I am driving 50 miles per hour it just says “shift to park” while driving and then cuts off. It will also cut off if there isn’t enough oil in the car because the “FIAT” engine burns oil. Did I mention there is absolutely no warning for low oil and that I get my oil changed regularly. My navigation also no longer syncs and they said there is a charge to get it fixed and I need to pay for diagnostics to find out what is wrong with my car. The car only has 40,600 miles on it. The navigation went with the new transmission . They also told me when they put the new transmission in the car the car didn’t recognized it because of the software. I am truly disappointed in the quality of the vehicle, I owned Kias, BMW, Mercedes, Honda and Toyota never had something so unreliable that makes me feel scared to drive and overall such bad quality. I will not buy another car from Koons because they do not stand behind their product they just state it is out of warranty or we will have to wait and see if it is a warranty issue before giving you a loaner. I don’t wany updated navigation just my old navigation and I didn’t ask for the car to scare me when I am driving on the highway and feel like I might not make it home. This is the truth and I strongly urge consumers to look at other options this brand and dealership are not reliable.
Used this dealer for installation of running boards on my truck. This boards were a MOPAR/RAM part but outside typical aftermarket accessories. Despite this they were willing to consult with me and accepted the work. The service took longer for installation than expected so cost was a bit higher but to date all seems fine.

Servicing my Jeep was pretty easy. Appointments online are a snap and the team gets you in and out fairly quick. My service rep Victor went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and followed up even after my service was complete. Nice touch.

Work was good and very good job checking back before repairs done and explaining cost vs insurance. However, when picked up car several grocery bag and net holding buttons as well as rear 12v plug cover were missing. They were taken out when repairs done amd were found (next day) but based on repair area should have been seen as missing during QA check. Makes me wonder if QA was actually done. Overall happy w work preformed.
