These guys are amazing! I had my first visit here today for my safety and emission inspections and everyone was so knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I will always take my car here from now on as its so hard to find trustworthy places with great people. I see why their reviews are so great! Im going to make it a point to get gas here, too, just to support this business.

I can not say enough good things about Phil here at Schmitz Service Inc. After leaving a competitor down the street, who tried to dupe me on my front wheel bearings for my 2014 Jeep Compass, I stop in here and asked professionally the estimated cost on the work I needed done. After given an answer substantially lower than the competitor, which just confirmed they tried to dupe me, I left my car to get the work done. If we arent already dealing with enough as a society this 2020, to have a dishonest technician is NOT something I needed. I am thankful for the professionalism and honesty here at Schmitz thanks to Phil.

These guys are friendly, easy to book an appointment with, and they get you in and out quickly. I recently went in for an oil change and state inspection. I mentioned that one tire had a slow leak no one could seem to find and it was driving me crazy to have to put air in every couple of months. They found the hole, sealed it up and charged me 4.99 extra for the fix. I was super happy!! Highly recommend!!

A welcome service center in a sea of shady mechanics and even shadier dealer service shops. Ive been using Schmitz for pretty much all auto service since 2010. Their work is thorough, and prices are reasonable. Al is a super honest and straightforward guy, and never once have I had the typical you need this done too upsell that youll get at other shops. Highly recommended.

Al and his team do such a great job. I used to go to Mercedes dealer to get my service and after being told I need $6k worth of work I knew I needed to find a trustworthy repair shop that will only do WHAT you need WHEN you need it. Took my car to have its A/C compressor replaced and they gave me a very competitive estimate. I shopped around all weekend for prices. Overall the experience went very smoothly, dropped the car off at 7:30AM and was surprised when they called me back around 10AM to let me know that my car was ready. I spoke with Al, the service manager. Thanks for the assistance Al, I will definitely be returning in the future!

Wonderful store and staff

I stop at this gas station often because its close to my bus stop. Have never had a problem until now. Yesterday I went in to grab some snack before I got on the bus. I bought 2 hot pockets to eat during my shift later. After microwaving them, I noticed the smelled a little odd but shrugged it off because they were a flavor I never had before. After a few bites I can tell there is something wrong. I pull the hot pockets apart to see large deposits of mold growing on the inside. Now Im sitting here sick to my stomach and a sore throat. I will be going in, when Im feeling better, to let inform the manager. Wont be buying food from their anymore.

My daughter suggested I bring my car to Schmitz after moving to NOVA from FL recently, and this will be my car repair shop from now on. The managers in the office are very professional and kind, the waiting area was clean and comfortable, and the tech who worked on my car was quick and very personable as I had some questions about one of the repairs he had to do. He explained it in such a way that I completely understood. So glad I now have an auto shop I can trust! Thats a rare find indeed!

Saturday morning, 6 hours from home with a broken down Chevy Avalanche... looking at reviews from various auto repair shops in the area & I can attest the near perfect reviews on Schmitz is well deserved. Jeremys customer service was top notch, keeping me up to date on the progress of the repairs as we left the truck at the garage while we toured Washington. Reasonable repair rates even after choosing to use dealer OEM parts.Thanks guys!

I was refereed here a couple months back and have been coming back ever since. They are quick to assist with any problems that you may have and their customer service is awesome! Been here a few times and every time theyve been absolutely perfect. They work around your schedule as best they can, they keep you notified and up to date on the progress being made on your vehicle, and they source parts locally so its fast and pretty darn inexpensive compared to other shops, including their hourly rates. Also, if you work in the area they have a shuttle to bring you to your office. Definitely coming back anytime I need work done.

Just came in for a quick fix on a fallen metal plate/cover. they still manage to fix my car quick even when they are packed! excellent service! more than satisfy:)

I came in for a VA state inspection and the service was relatively quick. This is located with the Gas station and although they were pretty busy they were able to get me in & out within an hour. My vehicle needed a repair that I understood would pop up during the inspection and was prepared to have them repair it since I was working in the area that week.The reason for the poor rating is I was quoted a ridiculous price for a service that was NOT even needed at all. Supposed tire rod repair and headlight adjustment was listed. And when I took it to two (2) other shops, including my regular mechanic I was told there is nothing wrong with it and that this Inspector may have just added it so they can charge for it.This is located in affluent area where people may not care for prices but the fact that they are taking advantage of people is just wrong.

The team at Schmitz Exxon does a great job of taking care of customers and providing excellent customer service. If you need brakes, preventative maintenance, an oil change or a state inspection be sure to give these guys a try. They are a full service shop and can take care of all of your automotive service needs. They are also conveniently located in Tyson’s Corner and they do good quality work at a fair price.

Top shelf!When I lived in McLean, they were the only guys Id use for automotive repair services. I had an old Volvo and it needed a lot of TLC. I relied on them often and they always came through.

I have had my annual inspection done from this place for the second time. It costs $16 and it was quick both the time. Usually for inspection they take around 30 minutes.

Took Toyota Avalon in for 60k service...it was completed early and for 90$ less then they had said...i was shocked...I know the game...and they didnt play it...at all. Drove me to my office and picked me up...super convenient ..very satisifed. Ive been burned many times this is refreshing experience.

I work around the corner but I live 50 miles from Tysons and I needed a battery. Thinking they would be expensive, I was hesitant but their prices are reasonable, they didnt jerk me around trying to sell me what I didnt need and I was treated professionally and with respect. I will be back and I will tell friends who work in the area about Schmitz Service. It was a great experience! Thanks, Al!

I brought my car to Schmitz when it suddenly would not start. I thought it was the battery, but turns out my key had gone bad! I was super stressed out because VW told me it would take several days to get the key and then program it and I had no other way to get to work. They also quoted me over $600 for all of this. The techs at Schmitz told me they could get the key overnight and finish it the very next day, and thats exactly what they did, and it cost HALF of what VW told me! I want to thank the techs at Schmitz for understanding the urgency of the situation, and for also giving me such a fair price. Awesome, awesome service! I will be back!

I used to love this place. I was in the car wash and it broke down on me. I called the cashier from my cell and he ignored me. Finally I was able to get out of the car wash and the guy did not want to give me a refund. I had to go home at 10:00 and hose off the soap in my driveway. LOL.

If youre looking for false estimates then this is the place to go! One false estimate after another and they never fixed the car. Kept the car for a week without fixing it. Took it to another workshop and the heating problem was fixed in 2 hours. Stay away from this place!Do not be fooled by the reviews written by the management!
