Bought a Herman miller chair. No communication after I bought it. Sent me an email saying chair was shipped - emailed twice for tracking number and no response. If this is what the service looks like when you are in the process of becoming a customer. God knows what you get after they dont need your business. Exactly the kind of short sightedness that makes you run away from certain brands - for me its DWR.
I went into the Westport DWR store to order 2 Nelson pendent lamps. Marcelo stated that one model was out of stock but then stated another was in stock. I purchased 2.A week later they sent an email to say they were in fact out of stock of the model Marcelo informed me was in stock and as such the order would be delayed by 2 weeks. I just received another call today ( a week later) that the back order would take longer. Seeing that I now have had to cancel the electrician 2x, the electrician is not pleased with me and I need him to finish my kitchen which has no light.In summary, for a company that sells items at full price, you would expect the service to be a lot better. I recommend people to window shop at DWR and then buy online where items will be delivered in a timely manner.I think what is upsetting is the fact that Marcelo stated the issue was not his fault. For someone who represents DWR, I am scratching my head as to how he can believe that misinforming customers is not his or DWR’s fault.I cancelled the order with Marcelo. Evidently that wasn’t clearly noted as the reply from the owner evidences.
Love. But so expensive. But, love the furniture.
