The guys in the shop were really helpful and friendly. Answered my messages prior to the rental quickly and with the online check in I was in and out of the shop in about 20 minutes with the trailer. I would use them again.
Because of COVID, my moving plans changed and...long story short, I have called multiple UHaul locations all over the country to ship a UBox back and forth between several different cities over the past year. By far the most helpful person I spoke to in any encounter with UHaul was Charlie at the Meyerland location. He even removed an extraneous charge on my bill. I dont have much to say about the rest of UHauls customer service, but Charlie at Meyerland is the man.
Great experience, had to get a ball on my truck, and rent a trailer. The best u-haul store Ive ever seen!!! Each person did an excellent job going the extra mile. Charles Crawford the general manager was the best Ive ever seen!!!! He was short handed and was doing several jobs well!!! Also, Sarah Baron, assistant Manager was, kind, helpful, friendly, and did her job with care was a professional in all ways. Johnathan Gar, doing multiple tasks as they were short handed. Customers were very rude and they all maintained a kind approch towards them.I used to run a storage, I know the challenges!!! I was IMPRESSED, to say the least!!!! God bless everyone at this location!!!!!
Had reserved a trailer at another franchise ( non corporate ) went to pick it up, agent said Id have to go through this narrow alley since the trailer was in back .Not quite an easy task with a 36ft long motorhome .Went to Meyerland, told them my dilemma .They went above and beyond by using their own time and transportation to retrieve the trailer and bring it to me. . . . . .Charlie, Jordan, and Jonathan KNOW what customer service is about . . . . . .If I ever need another U-haul in Houston area, I know exactly where to look FIRST . . . .THANKS GUYS !YOU ROCK !
Bad location.Stood there over 20 mins before someone walked in to help me. Line of about 6 people and only one person working.Took forever.Took forever to get a key card to access building- most didn’t work.Gave me an upstairs unit and I had to use this moving ladder thing.It was pretty bad.
Extremely unprofessional staff. Manager on site has no CLUE what he is doing, he offered no solution to my problem there. Never using them again.
Nina (I believe) was so helpful!! I could not back my trailer up to get it into the right spot and she was very patient w me and helped me out. She is doing a great job over there and I had a good experience overall.
Go here first!!! After visiting two other Uhaul locations without success, the manager (Charlie) was able to fix my reservation, inspect my vehicle, and ensure that I had everything that I needed for my out-of-state move.
I called this location because I had hitch wiring installed in my home town location (illinois) that was hanging too low and got caught and split apart. I provided my warranty as this was installed in January . Jordan went above and beyond ...you can no longer see the wiring hanging off the ground like previously installed. This location was recommended by the phone rep for their work . I have to say I was VERY IMPRESSED. i M A WOMEN AND JORDAN SHOWED ME HOW TO HOOK UP A SMALL 5X8 trailer to my ford fusion 2016. I left and Jordan called me back to tell me I left my work laptop. on the chair. My overall experience was awesome and he took less than 30 minutes to fix my wiring cable that was hanging and split. I didnt know he was the manager...he told me to ask for him if I have any problems with hitch wiring. I travel for work and my work location is Houston. I will definitely recommend his work and this store as they are very professional and it shows in how the customer was handled with kid gloves. Thank you Jordan for making my day!!
I had an appointment to get a hitch installed this morning. When I arrived on time the General Manager, Jordan Lewis, told me he was not installing my hitches today. My appointment was moved without any noticed. When I called to express my grievance but the CSR, Vicky ID#860773, said there was nothing she could do because nothing was installed.The arrogance of this General Manager and pompous attitude to dismiss my issue because, I had made, The appointment was made online. Reliquincing the responsibility of having my appointment rescheduled without any notice to me until I arrived.Their voice recording encourage to do everything online for what? To have Mr. Lewis (the General Manager) relinquished his responsibility?I would not recommend this place.with Managers with this attitude.
Jordan and his team are awesome! Installed my hitch and did the wiring professionally and cleanly. Some of the parts were delivered late from another facility so he discounted the total to offset inconvenience. Also, I was supposed to rent a trailer from another facility, but they were terrible and rude. I called Jordan to see if he could hook me up with a 5’x8’. He remembered me and got through the reservation process quickly. I’d make the extra drive anytime.

The uhaul company is the worst and this location is the worst of the worst. They gave me the truck with half of the fuel and more odometer which was in my contract. They are theft! dont use this company and if so, dont come to this location
Horrible service. I used to work in customer service, filing taxes for a non profit. We close our offices at 7pm. However whatever number of clients we have in the building at 7pm we make sure to serve them all before leaving.If we have too many clients to serve before the closing hour, we cut off the list, close the do and alert our phone line to let however know that we were closed for the day already.I went to this location after makin a reservation to pick up the truck. I arrived 30min after the pick up time. My truck was still available but they said my reservation has been canceled. I asked them to create a brand new order and hand off the keys..some transaction. But the agent said he wouldnt do it because it will take some time to do all that and it will be past 7pm. It was 6:52 at that time. So, not knowing what deadlines I had or what I was trying to do, those people had me come back another to complete what I had planned
WOW. These folks have an excellent operation that runs smoothly. Best service I’ve ever received in my 20 years of dealing with storages. There is a gentleman by the name of Reynaldo who goes above and beyond in helping you load and unload, what a great location.
I was pulling my hair out with the whole U-haul experience, however this store was understanding and extremely helpful. Renting a van here was smooth, van was clean, drop off key location was visible. If I needed another U-Haul vehicle, Id travel the distance and come here. It is best to call, instead of using the internet, to make reservations.
Would not recommend.

The manager at this location went the extra mile and helped my husband load boxes into our car in the rain a few weeks ago. Great to know good people still exist in this world. Kudos to him!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I received my bill/contract from them following day via email, and they added a charge for a cleaning fee for my truck rental. All I used the truck for was to move several pieces of large furniture from inside my house to my storage facility (of which there is video footage of me emptying the contents from the truck), and they claim that there were insects inside the van. I am not sure what that is supposed to mean, and although I have called 5 times during my workday to discuss, I have yet to hear back from anyone from this particular store. I will be disputing my charge via my credit card company and referencing the video from my storage unit they can use as evidence. Outrageous.
1 star because of a well designed website. Other than that, The rest of the experience was a desaster . Took forever for any paperwork even with quick check in. Truck was not there despite reservation so we had to get to another location. Then an entire story with a tow dolly because their system will not let them to change anything. Meanwhile it was almost as long to get a truck and a tow dolly as the actual moving itself. Every body knows when moving you can spend 3 hr at a uhaul, just like that just for fun... Ridiculous!

I had my trailer hitched fixed there this morning. Service was great! They went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get in and out and make it to work on time.
Mike and Rosie are the best!! I have never had this kind of over the top, understanding, and so helpful of an experience. If you are trying to decide between uhaul locations, its actually worth coming here every time. They helped me in more ways than one.
Went memorial day weekend with a reservation, they had run out of some of my equipment (bed bags) which were paid for upfront with the reservation. Also was told to take 1 pack of furniture pads as the rest were on the truck, only 6 were on the truck so I only got 7 of my 12 and am hoping I dont get charged for the non-existent extras. It being Memorial day weekend Im ignoring the hour wait before getting to the counter. Id use uhaul again but would probably using a different franchise unless this was super convient to where Im moving from.
The customer service was very poor. We dropped off the trailer only to see on our online account that they didnt actually check in the trailer. We called U-Haul to check the status and were rudely told we had to show up at store to fix issue or we would be charged a late fee. We went to the store and verified the trailer was indeed in the lot. We then had to wait for the employees to show up to open up the store...one employee showed up shortly after the opening time. We were second in line and still had to wait almost 40 minutes to get waited on. The second employee strolled in about 30 minutes after opening talking about how he tied one on the night before and that was why he was late. Meanwhile there was a line of people needing assistance. The staff could have cared less.
My experience was awful, I wont go back there and deal with these unprofessional staff, they were rude, they given me a truck which they had a different one on their system and they demanded the truck had 7/8 gas in the tank which it didnt unfortunately I didnt match the paper work with the truck or took a pic of the fuel gauge, I made 1 trip to the med center . And ended up putting 22 dollars gas to make them happy while they were checking me out the front desk girl NINA started looking at the guy who handed me the key for the truck and they were blaming each other at that point j told them I knew what happened I need to refund I just need to get the hell out of here after 2 hours exhausting moving physically plus mentally with those ppl . They had their lunch at 11 am nobody wanted to serve customers were looking at each other I had to wait till finished eating . No apology was given no smile or good welcoming . I am wondering why would good reputaed company like uhaul hire an employee like Nina treat customers with rudeness ? I was asking about uhaul app and nobody seemed knowledgeable with any of it .I would choose a different company next time save me a stress. I just wanted to share what I went through might help someone to avoid that .
Horrible customer service, you are spoken to like an un-welcomed family member rather than an appreciated customer. Staff is aggressive verbally and physically. It is unfortunate as this location is conveniently located, and with plentiful equipment, but the staff is downright non-customer friendly, unprofessional, argumentative and borderline abusive. Would never use this location again or ever recommend it to anyone that I truly cared about.

The only thing that bothered me was I made an online reservation and they said they had the truck I needed and then five minutes before I get there or should I say, on my way there, I get notice that they dont have the truck size I needed. Well, how convenient.

I had move over the past years around same area, rent the truck and they charge me 97!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!$$$$$ and they said I drove 52 miles!!! I did not drive to Or mOVe to Paris !!!!, customers service is bad as everything alse!!!!!., I will not recommend this place.

I was on the property for 20 minutes trying to navigate the app in my phone. At 1655 I went to the door and it was locked, they refused to give me the key. They closed at 1700, they watched me the whole 20 min before as I was getting the key code from the app. Terrible service, if I could give negative stars I would.
