We had a trailer attached to our hitch in Lorton and we didnt even drive 30 miles before the chain was dragging on the highway. We found the first uhaul location at Sudley Rd and the employee (Billy) immediately noticed that the ball Mount was entirely too low and said we should have been told that. He didnt have car jack to work with or anything to lift the bar so he improvised with pieces of wood and replaced the ball Mount for us. We are driving cross country to California so we were lucky to have stopped at this location to find such a knowledgeable and extremely helpful employee who helped get us safely back in the road.

Ive used this company numerous times and have had no problems. I rented a truck on Friday, June 25th @ 7am, returned it by 5pm per instructions. Everyone there has always been great to work with, I havent any complaints there. However, they took a $100 deposit for use of the truck because I used a Debit Card. I was told Id receive my $100 deposit back within 3-5 business days, today, 7/3 makes it day 8 without a refund. Ive called twice and have been told to check with my bank. Ive checked with my bank which have informed me they see nothing Pending what so ever of my refund. I will not give up, If I need to call 7 on your side for help, I will. I will make another call to them after work. A Total of $180.87 has been deducted from my account. $80.87 was for the mileage + the initial $19.95 for the truck. This office is not answering my calls!

The workers are very helpful and friendly. They answered all my questions I had. I rented a U-Haul for only 3 days but needed an extension asap as my closing date got pushed back 2 days. I just called right up to the U-Haul and within 5 minutes, I had It extended until Saturday! They have a variety of supplies like boxes, moving blankets etc that you can purchase on site and they are much cheaper than public storage. I highly recommend this store. A+++

Stopped here first time today to sell back some boxes from my recent move that were originally purchased in Chantilly. I had the receipt for some, but not all of the boxes. Billy was very accommodating and accepted all boxes and paid me in full. Service was quick and very courteous. I was impressed. Will not hesitate to go back here now that I live in the area,

They have lots of vehicles to rent but when we went there today, AFTER we had rented the truck, the guy behind the counter told my husband he would have to park our car across the street and “down the way” in some random shopping center. Walk across 6 lanes of traffic and then walk several blocks to park where he wanted us too?!?!! No thanks. We got our money refunded.

Pretty quick process. Parking lot is fairly small though for manuevering large vehicles.

I always regret having to deal with this location. It’s the closest to my house though, so I’m stuck. Today’s adventure was that my reserved truck wasn’t ready, despite a week old reservation. The person behind the counter couldn’t care less and told me I just had to wait 15-20 minutes until the last user returned the keys. Nevermind that an exact truck like I reserved was sitting out front. Guess they don’t have keys for it either. Thank God this is my move out of this area and I’ll never have to deal with them again. Terrible.

Excellent service! Went in to have a hitch receiver installed on our RAV4 and it took him less than 15 minutes. The employee, William, greeted us as soon as we walked in and was very pleasant

Staff is neither helpful nor friendly. Seems like a hostile environment, mostly because of one guys bad attitude. I watched him be rude and abrasive to multiple people.

Rented a truck for 20 dollars like the sign said .I live in county scene by coverstone drive .now I just wanted the truck to get a coutch from the salvation army which is about 2 minutes away. They charged me 2 hundred dollors for that when the truck was 19.99 .it too not even 30 minutes to do it .Total RIP off

At checkout, they completely ignored the $25 off service charge when swept & blankets folded posted in the back of the truck. The guy literally said they dont have such a thing even though its posted inside EVERY Uhaul truck. Even if somehow I understood the sign wrong, then this is clearly a bad example of customer service where he didnt explain the sign. But Im guessing he wanted to pocket the $25...

The idiot behind the counter argued with me, I had made a reservation in which i had booked a truck for 20 hours, the smart ass behind the counter assumed I was a walk in guest with no reservation, as my party and I stormed out, the attendant comes out and says oh I didnt know you had a reservation and yeah we can help you..... anyway horrible customer service.

I went for a truck at 11am. They had parked at least 20 trucks/vans on the roadside but the attendant tells you they are all reserved until next day at least. Not even for a couple of hours. Feels like half of these cars were damaged or out of service and just parked out there for advertising.
